True development of personality is associated with the departure from adaptability as an adaptation in an externally determined reality to the preadaptive nature of activity. Preadaptive allows shaping properties of the individual that facilitates the passage of crisis situations. The preadaptive strategy for the building of meanings of life activity is based on the desire for selftranscendence as a way to go beyond the boundaries of what a person has mastered in order to find and realize his true purpose. For real personal growth, the prospect of further development is necessary , which means a transition from self-actualization to self-transcendence, which allows you to interact with the extra-positive reality on the basis of the highest meaning plans of human existence in the world. The purpose of the article is to identify the features of selftranscendence, which is the basis of the preadaptive strategy of meaning building. Analysis of such features of self-transcendence as: the ability to overcome the experience of the finiteness of his existence; the experience of insight; initiating the activity of a socially significant act; the preservation of subjectivity; the ability to positively undergo existential crises; a tolerance for ambiguity; creativity; responsibility in search for his own destiny. The results obtained allow us to formulate a definition of a preadaptive meaning-forming strategy.

The article analyzes the social and psychological factors of psychological well-being of the individual. The results of psychological well-being between homosexuals and heterosexuals were examined and compared. The complexity of studying the phenomenon of psychological well-being is due to the fact that the mechanism of its formation is in the social environment and in the inner world of man. An attempt is made to reveal their essence on the basis of researches in world and national science. The components that provide positive personality functioning are analyzed and investigated: autonomy, environmental management, personal growth, positive relationships with others, presence of life goals and self-acceptance. Psychological well-being of the individual is considered as an integral indicator of the degree of realization of the personality of one's own orientation, which is subjectively manifested in feelings of happiness, satisfaction with life and oneself. It is concluded that this phenomenon touches on all aspects of people's lives, both homo- and hetero-orientations, and therefore, a person with any sexual orientation is capable of self-actualization, self-development, life satisfaction and the exercise of one's choice.

The article analyzes the priority and opportunities of the child's formation as a subject of life-creation in the educational space of the New Ukrainian School. The fundamental ideas of the humanistic and existential psychology’s founders and modern scientists regarding the conscious and creative attitude of the individual to his life as a prerequisite for its self-actualization in the mode of being and the realization of freedom of life (A. Maslow, E. Fromm), the ideas of setting a life goal, determining meaningful life orientations and developing life personality strategy (K. Abulkhanova-Slavskaya, A. Adler, R. May, G. Allport, K. Rogers, V. Frankl), the ideas of individual readiness for life innovations in the process of self-projection (N. Samoukina, T. Titarenko) are analyzed. There were defined the life-creation methods of personality self-development as a subject of life (F. McGraw, A. Molloy, I. Pidlasa). It is shown that the priority of the psychological support of the educational process in the New Ukrainian School is the formation of students as subjects of life creation through the development of their ability to anticipate life, internality, optimistic perception of life prospects, stress resistance and motivation to achieve success. It was established that the fundamental ideas and modern approaches to the interpretation of the problem of formation of the individual as a subject of life-creation fully correspond to the conceptual priorities of the New Ukrainian School, which is designed to bridge the gap between the educational process and the requirements of society. It is revealed that the psychology of life-creation is a holistic scientific concept, which was formed on the fundamental ideas of humanistic and existential psychologists and is now actively developing within the psychology of personal life. There were defined the technologies and forms of work within the framework of psychological support of students in the educational space of the New Ukrainian School. These include: technology of life design, technology of organization of life-cognitive activity of students, psychological counseling and facilitation, training forms of psychological work, in particular, trainings of personal growth, trainings of self-determination and trainings of construction of life perspective.

The philosophy of Islamic education covers a wide range of ideas and practices drawn from Islamic scripture, metaphysics, philosophy, and common piety, all of which accumulate to inform discourses of learning, pedagogy, and ethics. This provides a definition of Islamic education and yet also of Islam more generally. In other words, since metaphysics and ontology are related to questions of learning and pedagogy, a compendious and indigenous definition of “education” offers an insight into a wider spectrum of Islamic thought, culture, and weltanschauung. As such, there is no singular historical or contemporary philosophy of Islamic education which avails all of this complexity but rather there exists a number of ideas and practices which inform how education plays a role in the embodiment of knowledge and the self-actualization of the individual self to ultimately come to know God. Such an exposition may come to stand as a superordinate vision of learning framing Islamic educational ideals. Questions of how these ideas are made manifest and practiced are partly answered through scripture as well as the historical, and continuing, importance of Muhammad, the Prophet of Islam; as paragon and moral exemplar in Islamic thought. Having said “I was sent as a teacher,” his life and manner (sunnah) offer a wide-ranging source of pedagogic and intellectual value for his community (ummah) who have regarded the emulation of his character as among the highest of human virtues. In this theocentric cosmology a tripart conception of education emerges, beginning with the sacred nature of knowledge (ʿilm), the imperative for its coupling with action (ʿamal), in reference to the Prophet, and finally, these foundations supporting the flourishing of an etiquette and comportment (adab) defined by an equanimous state of being and wisdom (ḥikma). In this sense, the reason for there being not one identifiable philosophy of Islamic education, whether premodern or in the modern context, is due to the concatenations of thoughts and practices gravitating around superordinate, metaphysical ideals. The absence of a historical discipline, named “philosophy of education” in Islamic history, infers that education, learning, and the nurturing of young minds is an enterprise anchored by a cosmology which serves the common dominators of divine laudation and piety. Education, therefore, whether evolving from within formal institutional arenas (madrasas) or the setting of the craft guilds (futuwwa), help to enunciate a communality and consilience of how human beings may come to know themselves, their world, and ultimately God.

In the course of acmeological development, transition of an individual from adaptation to preadaptive activity takes place. Thanks to preadaptivity, a person has new opportunities for the development of such features of his personality that help to overcome various crisis and uncertain situations. In such conditions, the system of personal senses becomes an integral regulator of life activity. The state of integrity of this system shows the possible ways of raising a person above self-actualization as a result of self realization in reality. Self-transcendence follows self-actualization and means going beyond the present self to fulfill the highest purpose. Self-transcendence is based on the process of overcoming the existential crisis of finiteness of one's being, as a result of which the system of personal senses gets restarted and shifts to creating cultural benefits for other people. Self-transcendence contains such existential attributes as experience of creative insights, preservation of subjectivity, ability to overcome existential crises in a positive way, tolerance to uncertainty, creative thinking, freedom in taking responsibility in search for one's own destiny

Purpose: This study is a qualitative study that investigated the nature of Koreans’ spiritual health using a hybrid model, clarifying the definition and attributes of the concept. Methods: The nature and definition of Koreans’ spiritual health were identified through a review of the extensive literature at the theoretical stage and then compared with an analysis of the in-depth interview data conducted by the researcher in the fieldwork stage. Results: Koreans’ spiritual health comprised nine attributes: awareness of the meaning and purpose of life, self-awareness, self-acceptance and recognition, self-transcendence, self-integration, harmony of relationships, self-actualization and development, the inner affective attributes of hope, happiness, fulfillment and thankful mind, and the interpersonal affective attributes of one connected mind, compassion, generosity and humility. The scope of the Absolute is expanded to ‘heaven’ and ‘ancestors’, and harmony with the community is emphasized. Conclusion: We have found that Koreans’ spiritual health is important for total nursing care and that mental, social and physical health can be improved if spiritual health is promoted. Considering this point, personal and organizational efforts are needed to ensure that spiritual nursing is positively applied in community and clinical settings.

The article gives the author’s definition of the concept of “professional self-fulfilment of the teacher”, which means a personal strategy of a teacher’s professional activity, aimed at improving their personal qualities and developing their professional competencies. The structural and content components of the professional self-fulfilment of the teacher have been determined: self-understanding, self-actualization, self-identification, self-design, self-organization and self-regulation. It has been proved that each of the six components carries its own function, being central at a certain stage of professional development, determining the course of the teacher’s personality development, and moving at the next stage to a “subordinate” position when it becomes a mechanism for the implementation of a new stage of the teacher’s professional self-fulfilment. Self-knowledge is an activity specially organized by a teacher, the purpose of which is to identify one’s own potential capabilities, actual needs, life meanings in the aspect of professional activity. Self-actualization is an activity specially organized by a teacher, the purpose of which is self-understanding, self-awareness of one’s own uniqueness in professional activity. Self-identification is an activity specially organized by the teacher, the purpose of which is self-identification with one of the self-actualizing professional portraits. Self-design is an activity specially organized by the teacher, the purpose of which is to develop an individual educational trajectory in the direction of his “ideal self-teacher”. Self-development is an activity specially organized by the teacher, the purpose of which is positive self-change of the individual in the direction of his “ideal self-teacher”. Self-presentation is an activity specially organized by the teacher, the purpose of which is the teacher’s presentation of his intermediate and final results. Keywords: Professional self-fulfillment of the teacher; structural and content components of the professional self-fulfillment of the teacher; self-understanding of the teacher, self-actualization of the teacher; self-identification of the teacher; self-design of the teacher; self-organization of the teacher; self-regulation of the teacher.

The article is devoted to the problem of features of professional self-actualization of students-psychologists living in crisis of professional readiness. The definition of the term self-actualization and professional self-actualization among the works of domestic, Russian and foreign scientists is considered. In particular, professional self-actualization is defined as a complex multilevel phenomenon, a process of directed activity aimed at progress in one's own professional development, which is conditioned by the disclosure of one's own professional potential. Three approaches to the study of self-actualization in the professional sphere are highlighted: subject-activity, where professional activity is the main basis for self-actualization of the individual, due to difficulties and internal contradictions; personal development, where professional self-actualization leads to profound internal changes and forms and professional maturity; acmeological, in which professional self-actualization is the achievement of the highest level of professionalism, professional and personal maturity ("acme"). The concept of crisis of professional readiness and features of living of crisis by psychology students are analyzed. It is noted that the level of experiences of the crisis of professional readiness is the most intense among other normative crises of professional training. The peculiarities of the crisis development are highlighted: the contradiction between the awareness of the beginning of professional activity and at the same time the lack of readiness. The intra-personal conflict between learning motivations and professional motivation is determined. A number of features of professional self-actualization of students-psychologists and their interrelation with the crisis of professional readiness are considered.

The purpose of the article is to analyze the influence of the Internet dependence of teenagers on the peculiarities of their self-actualization and to check the effectiveness of the developed program for increasing the self-actualization of such persons. The study involved 223 individuals. The following research methods were used in the work: testing (Kimberly Young Test, CAT Test and Situational Self-actualization Test), questionnaires, observations; statistical methods for carrying out qualitative and quantitative analysis of the research results (Student's criterion and Pearson criterion). Based on the data obtained, we have developed a program of psychological support for the self-actualization of youths by developing its competence in using Internet resources. The article shows that different uses of virtual space by young people affect their self-actualization in different ways; the social and psychological factors of increasing the virtual space utilization of young people have been found out. In the course of an empirical study carried out, the authors prove the statistically significant relationship that exists between the excessive capture of the personality of the youth by virtual space and its self-actualization. The analysis of the influence of various variants of use by young men of the virtual space (games, communication, information seeking) revealed a significant difference in the priority of the gaming activity of youth as a factor in the formation of Internet dependency and low self-actualization of the individual (the latter is understood by the authors as an integral individual indicator of personal growth of a person).

An empirical study of the psychological factors of subjective well-being of adolescents was carried out with the help of observation, conversation and such psycho-diagnostic techniques as: “The subjective well-being questionnaire” (O. Vlasova); “Test “Determination of the personal adaptation of schoolchildren” (A. Furman); “The person orientation inventory questionnaire (POI, E. Shostrom)”; «Methodology» Anxiety scale «(J. Taylor); «Methodology» Definition of the general emotional orientation of the individual «(B. Dodonov); Technique «Man in the rain» (O. Romanova, T. Sytko); author's questionnaire, which helped to determine the adolescents subjective view of happiness. Statistical data processing was performed by using the capabilities of the SPSS-21 computer program. Experimental work was carried out during 2013-2017 on the basis of Kyiv educational institutions. The total number of subjects covered 400 students of the 8th -9th grades studying with in-depth study of physics and mathematics. The students of physical and mathematical lyceums have an anxiety level corresponding to the age standards, the greatest is the indicator of self-assessed anxiety, the leading emotional orientation is romantic, praxical, gnostic and communicative, have an average level of self-actualization and an obvious level of personal non-adaptability. Subjective well-being is at an average level and has links with personal adaptability and altruistic emotional orientation. Girls, compared to boys in terms of learning exact sciences, are more romantically and aesthetically emotionally oriented, with a higher personal growth. The main factors of subjective well-being of students of physical and mathematical lyceums are personal adaptation, gnostic and altruistic orientation, low level of school anxiety and a high level of self-actualization. The study of subjective well-being of the students of physical and mathematical lyceums has helped to establish the close interdependent connection between personal adaptability, self-actualization, altruistic and praxical emotional orientation and subjective well-being of students. In addition, the level of subjective well-being is most influenced by its components as a goal in life, self-perception and positive attitude. An important factor is a respondent’s accommodation or non-accommodation in hostel, because it may affect his|her subjective characteristics, the formation of personal traits and relationships with others. Under studying the adolescents the basic psychological peculiarities, depending on the education form, it is established that adolescents studying in the institution of the residential type of the physical and mathematical direction have an average level of anxiety, with predominance of self-assessed anxiety.
