Background: Renal replacement care of choices for end-stage renal disease (ESRD) patients include chronic dialysis either hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis and kidney transplantation, the vast majority of patients use hemodialysis (HD) rather than peritoneal dialysis (PD). Methods: This is a single center cross sectional observational study in the King Abdul-Aziz Specialist Hospital, Taif, Saudi Arabia. The study was conducted from 20 October 2020 to 20 July 2021. The participants 135 patients, A survey was prepared by specialized authors, and self-answered by hemodialysis patients after informed consent was approved by the participants to complete the survey. Statistical analysis was conducted using SPSS version 21. Result: Factors affecting choosing Peritoneal Dialysis modality among Hemodialysis patients in a single center among Saudi population were analyzed in the total number of cases 135 including 52% are males, 47.9% are females, presence of chronic diseases among our cases Hypertension, followed by Diabetes were the most important causes for the etiology of chronic kidney disease in (51%, 33.3%), peritoneal dialysis was discussed with the majority of cases (59.4%), The higher percentage of our participants deny any mental illness, eye disease, hernia or abdominal surgery or ischemic bowel disease.if PD modality was discussed with them and correlated with reasons for not picking PD, this was statistically significant proved by Pearson Chi square test with Confidence interval 95%, P value <0.05. Conclusion: This study indicates that the cardinal patients' characteristics of young age, single, being ambulant, if PD was discussed with the patient are among the factors influencing choosing peritoneal dialysis among haemodialysis patients.

Analysis of factors Affecting The Participant Pregnant Women Gymnactics in BPS Nina Surabaya. Pregnant women should get treatment during pregnancy. Treatment during pregnancy or antenatal care can be done via examination of pregnancy, pregnancy exercise, nutrition and other compliance requirements. Pregnancy exercise is an exercise undertaken to prepare and train the muscles so that it can be used to function optimally in a normal delivery.This study uses an analytical method with cross sectional design prospective. Sampling using total sampling technique. The independent variable is education, parity and maternal knowledge, while the dependent variable is exclusive breastfeeding. Data were analyzed using chi square test.The results showed a correlation between age and support of husband / family with the participation of pregnant women during pregnancy exercise with a p-value of <0.05, whereas for education and parity are not related to the participation of pregnant women against pregnancy exercise with a value of p>0.05.The conclusions of this study are the factors that influence the participation of pregnant women during pregnancy exercise is aged and the support of husband / family.

The purpose of this research is to investigate the variables that affect the use of medical services. At the Putri Hijau Level II Hospital, you may get checked out. It was decided to employ a kuantitatif research design with a cross sectional design for this particular investigation. Patients who came in for a medical check-up at the Putri Hijau Level II Hospital were included in the research study. According to the results of the first survey, the total number of patients who had medical examinations in 2019 was 2135 individuals. We needed to look at 100 different individuals for our experiment. The chi square test and multiple linear regression were the statistical tests that were used. The results of the chi square test study revealed that the variable service quality (reliability p-value = 0,000, responsiveness p-value = 0,000, assurance p-value = 0,036, empathy p-value = 0,003, physical evidence p-value = 0,026) obtained a p-value less than 0.05, the variable facility p-value = 0.000, the variable rate / price p-value = 0.000, and the variable patient perception obtained a p-value Patient views of the use of Medical Check Up services are associated with service quality (reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, physical evidence) as well as medical facilities, rates / pricing and patient perceptions of the usage of Medical Check Up services (p-value = 0.039 0.05). Using multivariate analysis, it was discovered that one of the variables in this research, the Facility variable, had the most influence on the outcome.

Hemodialysis is a renal replacement therapy performed 2-3 times a week with a duration of 4-5 hours, which aims to remove the remnants of protein metabolism and correct fluid and electrolyte disturbances. This study aims to determine the relationship duration of hemodialysis with anxiety level of hemodialysis patients in Teguh Hospital Murni. This research type is quantitative with cross sectional design. The samples used in this study amounted to 45 people and the sampling technique with purposive sampling is sampling by kebutulan researchers come to research and sebahagian sample was taken from the population. Data collection using questionnaire and data analysis using Chi Square test. From result of research got relationship of duration of hemodialysis with level of anxiety, with degree of meaning (a) 0,05 that is X² hitung: 12,01> X² table: 9,49, p value: 0.00. It is desirable for nurses to provide education and more attention to hemodialysis patients undergoing hemodialysis less than 5 times in order for patients to feel comfortable and not anxious. Hemodialisis merupakan terapi pengganti ginjal yang dilakukan 2-3 kali seminggu dengan lama waktu 4-5 jam, yang bertujuan untuk  mengeluarkan sisa-sisa metabolisme protein dan mengoreksi gangguan keseimbangan cairan dan elektrolit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan lamanya hemodialisis dengan tingkat kecemasan pasien hemodialisis di Rumah Sakit Murni Teguh. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional. Sampel yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 45 orang dan teknik pengambilan sampel dengan purposive sampling yaitu pengambilan sampel secara kebutulan peneliti datang melakukan penelitian dan sebahagian sampel itu diambil dari jumlah populasi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner dan analisa data menggunakan uji Chi Square. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan  hubungan lamanya hemodialisis dengan tingkat kecemasan, dengan derajat kemaknaan (a) 0,05 yaitu X²hitung : 12,01 > X²tabel : 9,49, p value : 0.00. Diharapkan kepada perawat untuk memberikan edukasi dan perhatian yang lebih kepada pasien hemodialisis yang sedang menjalani hemodialisis kurang dari 5 kali agar pasien merasa nyaman dan tidak cemas.

Coronavirus Disease 19 or what we know as Covid-19 is a disease caused by coronavirus that can cause respiratory infections with mild to severe symptoms. Covid-19 disease can be prevented by the community if the community implements covid prevention measures such as using masks, diligently washing hands and keeping a distance. Preliminary preliminary survey note that the majority of respondents have not implemented the co-19 prevention behavior properly. The purpose of this study was to analyze factors that influence co-19 prevention behavior in Bandar Lampung. This research is a quantitative study with a descriptive analytic cross sectional design. The population and research sample using cluster sampling namely using 10 regions included in the Bandar Lampung area of ​​100 respondents. The research instrument used questionnaire sheets that had been tested for validity. Data analysis using chi square test. The results obtained data that there is a relationship between age (p-value 0.017), there is no gender relationship (p-value 0.878), there is a relationship between the level of education (p-value 0.000), there is a relationship of knowledge about covid-19 (p-value 0.029) with covid-19 disease prevention behavior in Bandar Lampung. The conclusion is that factors related to co-19 disease prevention behavior are age, education level, and knowledge of co-19. Suggestions should provide information about co-19 and the importance of co-19 prevention behavior continue to be given to the public.   Keywords: Predisposing Factors, Behavioral Prevention, Covid-19

This study aims to determine the factors that influence the performance of nurses and to determine the most dominant factors affecting the performance of nurses at the General Hospital Datu Beru Takengon 2021. The research design used a quantitative analytic survey with a cross-sectional design. The population is all nurses in the Inpatient Room at RSU Datu Beru Takengon as many as 200 people. The sampling technique used was random sampling. Data analysis was performed by univariate, bivariate and multivariate analysis with chi_square. The results of the Chi-Square statistical test analysis obtained p-value = 0.003 < 0.05, which means there is a relationship between workload and nurse performance, while the length of service period obtained p-value = 0.652 < 0.05, which means there is no relationship between length of service and nurse performance, the training variable obtained p-value = 0.004 < 0.05 which means there is a relationship between training and nurse performance, the discipline variable obtained p-value = 0.005 < 0.05 which means it means that there is a relationship between discipline and nurse performance and the motivation variable is obtained p-value = 0.002 < 0.05, which means there is a relationship between motivation and nurse performance. The results of the Multivariate test analysis showed that the variables that influenced the performance of nurses were workload, discipline and motivation, while the most dominant variable was the workload variable with p = 0.002 <0.05.

Background: Riskesdas 2013 data shows the prevalence of chronic kidney disease in Central Java and Yogyakarta 0.3%, which is higher than the average prevalence across Indonesia which is only 0.2%. The results of the author’s study previously showed that the intake of energy, protein, sodium hemodialysis patients on average are not sufficient, while the average fluid intake exceeds the dietary recommendation. There are several factors that can affect dietary compliance of the hemodialysis patients, such as knowledge, family support, attitudes, and behavior.Objective: To examine the factors that affect dietary compliance of the hemodialysis patients.Method: This is an observational study with cross-sectional design, conducted in the hemodialysis unit of Dr. Soeradji Tirtonegoro Hospital, Klaten on March - October 2016, involving 60 respondents. The dependent variable is dietary compliance, while the independent variables are knowledge, family support, attitudes, and behavior. Data were analyzed using univariate and bivariate with Chi-Square test.Results: Chi-Square test results of knowledge with dietary compliance showed the p-value = 0.027; family support with dietary compliance showed the p-value = 0.045; attitude with dietary compliance showed the p-value = 0.045; and behavior with dietary compliance showed the p-value = 0.002.Conclusion: Knowledge, family support, attitude, and behavior affect dietary compliance of the hemodialysis patients.

In 2016 Special Region of Yogyakarta was ranked 9th as the province with the highest number of people suffered from HIV/AIDS especially at Sleman regency. Globally, AIDS was the second leading cause of adolescents’s death aged of 10-19 years. The purpose of this study was to find out factors affecting the behaviour of the adolescents towards HIV/AIDS prevention. This research using with cross sectional study design. The sampling technique which used was stratified random sampling resulted in 59 respondents from 11th grade students at SMA Negeri 2 Sleman were selected as sample. Data were collected using questionnaire and analyzed using Chi-Square test and Multiple Logistic Regression. The result showed that most respondents 66,1% had sufficient knowledge. Students who showed supportive attitude was 54,2%. Information obtained were mostly from electronic media. Thirty one students (52,5%) showed a positive behaviour toward HIV/AIDS prevention. Chi-Square test’s result showed that factors significantly related to adolescent’s behaviour toward HIV/AIDS prevention were knowledge and attitude. Variables most affecting was attitude (p-value=0,008; PR=4,4; 95% CI=1,4-13,1).

Objective: To evaluate the factors for perioperative patient satisfaction in parturient undergoing lower section cesarean section, with a view assess anesthesia quality. Study design: cross sectional, analytical study Place and Duration of study: Department of Anesthesiology and Gynecology & Obstetrics, Combined Military Hospital, Okara Cantt for 04 months from January to April 2019. Material and method: A total of 400 parturient undergoing cesarean section were included in our study. The patients were given a questionnaire to fill on discharge. Our outcomes were frequency of patient satisfaction and various factors affecting it. SPSS version 20 was used to analyze data. Mean ± SD was described for quantitative variables and frequency (percentage) for qualitative variables. T-test and chi square used to analyze significance. p-value ≤0.05 taken as significant. Results: A total of 400 questionnaires were assessed in final analysis. The overall patient satisfaction was 382 (95.5%) with 4 (1%) showing dissatisfaction; whereas 14 (3.5%) didn’t answer this question. 395 (98.8%) underwent LSCS under spinal anesthesia. There wasno difference in patient satisfaction in regards to intra-operative concern alleviation, discomfort, previous number of LSCS, parturient age, choice of anesthesia; p value > 0.05. There was higher dissatisfaction in patients who experienced post-operative complaints, most notably pain; p=0.000. Patient satisfaction was higher in mothers who experienced joy on hearing their newborns cries; p=0.000 Conclusion: The overall patient satisfaction in our study was high and only few factors causing patient dissatisfaction which included postoperative complaints most notably pain.

ABSTRACT: FACTORS AFFECTING BLOOD PRESSURE CONTROL IN HYPERTENSION PATIENTS IN RW 03 KELURAHAN JAGAKARSA SOUTH JAKARTA Introduction: Blood pressure control is controlling blood pressure with systolic <140 mmHg and diastolic <90 mmHg. Controlling blood pressure in people with hypertension can be done by losing weight, exercising, adjusting a low-salt diet, improving unhealthy lifestyles, and pharmacological therapy. Blood pressure control is influenced by several factors, such as attitudes, knowledge, family support, and medication adherence.Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence blood pressure control in hypertension sufferers in RW 03 Jagakarsa Village, South Jakarta.Methods: The research design used was descriptive-analytic with a cross sectional approach. The number of samples involved were 42 respondents using the Z formula. The results of the study used Chi-Square statistical test analysis.Results: The results of this study obtained factors related to controlling blood pressure in patients with hypertension, namely attitude (p-value = 0.047), knowledge (p-value = 0.040), family support (p-value = 0.025), and medication. compliance (p-value = 0.040).Conclusion: Suggestions from this study are health services, especially in the community, to find out the factors that influence blood pressure control in hypertension sufferers, one of which can be overcome by developing health education programs for the community, both at the puskesmas and at the posyandu. Jumlah sampel yang dilibatkan sebanyak 42 responden dengan menggunakan rumus Z. Hasil penelitian menggunakan analisis uji statistic Chi-Square.Hasil: Hasil dari penelitian ini diperoleh faktor yang berhubungan dengan pengontrolan tekanan darah pada penderita hipertensi yaitu sikap (p-value = 0,047), pengetahuan (p-value = 0,040), dukungan keluarga (p-value = 0,025), dan kepatuhan pengobatan (p-value = 0,040).Kesimpulan: Saran dari penelitian ini adalah pelayanan kesehatan khususnya di masyarakat untuk mengetahui bahwa faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pengontrolan tekanan darah pada penderita hipertensi dapat diatasi salah satunya dengan mengembangkan program penyuluhan kesehatan bagi masyarakat baik di internal puskesmas maupun dilakukan di posyandu. ABSTRACT  BACKGROUND & OBJECTIVE: Breastfeeding provides immunity against bacterial, viral, and other infectious diseases. More than four million new neonates die due to vaccine-related diseases in the first 28 days of their lives. It is therefore emphasized that breastfeeding in the first hours after delivery may save the neonate. The objective of this study was to determine the factors affecting the pattern of breastfeeding among the neonates and assess the frequency of early breastfeeding among neonates at Gulab Devi Hospital, Lahore. METHODOLOGY: It was a cross-sectional descriptive study. One hundred mothers were selected through convenient purposes sampling. Chi-square test applied for an association between mode of delivery and initiation of breastfeeding. RESULTS: The result of the study showed variability in the time of breastfeeding by the mothers from one hour to 24 hours after delivery. Pre-lacteal was given to 59 mothers, while 41 were not given with any pre-lacteal. A significant association was found between mode of delivery and initiation of breastfeeding with a p-value less than 0.001 CONCLUSION: The result of the study showed that variability in the time of breastfeeding by the mothers from one hour to 24 hours after delivery provided a significant difference in the production of the neonate in the first 28 days.
