This research aims to analyze the efficiency of marketing channels and margins of melinjo chips in Sukamaju village, Teluk Betung Timur Subdistrict, Bandar Lampung City. The research is conducted by survey method, in which location is determined purposively.  Respondents of this research, producers of melinjo chips in Sukamaju village of Teluk Betung Timur, Bandar Lampung, are drawn by simple random sampling method.  This research uses analysis method of marketing channel, margin producer's share analysis, and price transmission elasticity. The results of this study indicated that there were two types of marketing channels in Sukamaju village.  The first channel was producer to consumer, and secondly was producer to retailer then consumer.  The marketing of melinjo chips in Sukamaju village had a margin percentage and a market share of 42.00% and 58.00% on channel I; of 33.33% and 66.67% on channel II respectively. Marketing of melinjo chips had been economically efficient with competing margin percentage, but based on Price Transmission Elasticity (Et) marketing system was not efficient with Et by 1,13 (Et >1).Key words: efficiency, margin, marketing channels,  melinjo chips

ABSTRACTThis study aims to find out the marketing channel of tiger shrimp from the farmers to the final consumer and efficient marketing of tiger shrimp in Sungai Lumpur village Regency Cengal District Ogan Komering Ilir. This research was conducted in Sungai Lumpur village Regency cengal District Ogan Komering Ilir from May-Juli 2017. The method used in this research is survey method, for sampling method used simple random sampling method. To collect the data in this research used observation and interview methods by using a quisionary aids that have been prepared previously. Data processing is done using kualitatif and kuantitatif analysis. The result of this research indicates there are three marketing channels of tiger shrimp in Sungai Lumpur village Regency Cengal District Ogan Komering Ilir and the three marketing channels are efficient.

This study aims to analyze marketing channels and the efficiency of onion marketing in South Tonsewer Village, west Tompaso District. The data used are primary data and secondary data. Primary data is obtained through a list of questions that have been prepared while secondary data obtained from BP3K Office District West Tompaso, BPS (Central Statistics Agency), Internet and previous research on Marketing. Farmer samples were collected using Simple Random Sampling method and for marketing institution using snowball sampling method. The number of samples of farmers is 25 people. The data are presented in tabular form and then analyzed descriptively. The concept of measurement of variables used is the selling price, the number of onion and marketing costs. The results showed that marketing channels in Tonsewer Selatan Village, Tompaso Barat District consisted of 4 (1) farmers - Kawangkoan market retailers - consumers, (2) farmers - seller retailers Langowan market - consumers, (3) farmers - collectors village - Tomohon market-consumer merchants, and (4) farmers - village wholesalers - wholesalers of Bitung port - consumers. Based on the value of price transmission elasticity, marketing margin, farmer's share, and profit-to-cost ratio indicate that four marketing channels are not efficient. an efficient marketing channel based on the value of price transmission elasticity, marketing margins, and farmer's share, two efficient marketing channels based on farmer's share and cost-benefit ratios, and three efficient marketing channels at farmer's share.

This research aims to analyze income farming and factors affecting production of red chili in Trimulyo Tegineneng Pesawaran Regency.  This research uses a survey method.  Location of this research is chosen purposively in Trimulyo. The respondents are 60 red chili farmers taken by using a simple random sampling method. The income farming is determined using revenue cost ratio, while factors of production are analyzed by using Cobb Douglass. The results of the study showed that the income per hectare  over cash costs obtained by farmers was IDR34,416,181.43 with R/C of 2.18 and income per hectare over total costs amounted to IDR24,520,886.39 with R/C of 1.63. Factors affecting production of red chili are land, seeds, KNO3 fertilizer, and pesticide. The R/C value that is greater than one means that red chili farming in Trimulyo Village Tegineneng Subdistrict Pesawaran Regency is profitable and feasible to be cultivated. Key words: income, production, red chili

This study aims at determining the channels, functions and institutions of the Arabica coffee trading system in the research area, the margin of the trading system produced by the Arabica coffee (coffeaarabica L) in the study area,  the efficiency level of the Arabica coffee trading system (Coffeaarabika. in the research area. The research area was determined by purposive sampling in Brand Village, Merek District, Karo Regency which was held in May 2019 - August 2019. The sampling method was carried out by simple random sampling (simple random). The samples in this study are farmers who cultivated Arabica coffee throughout the year. The number of samples in this study was 30 samples and the sample of traders was determined by the tracing method, namely tracing all traders involved in the Arabica coffee trading process. There are two marketing channels for Arabica coffee in the research area, namely farmers - collecting traders - subdistrict traders and subdistrict farmers - traders. The marketing margin for Arabica coffee from farmers to consumers on channel I is Rp. 14,500, on channel II is Rp. 14,300. The coffee marketing channels in Brand Village, Brand District, Karo Regency are efficient. Of the two marketing channels, the most efficient marketing channel compared to other marketing channels is the second marketing channel, namely sub-district farmers - traders.

The research marketing efficiency of red cayenne pepper was located in the Cidatar part of Cisurupan regency Garut district purposed to know marketing channel, marketing margin, and farmer’s share.  The research used descriptive analysis method. About 31 farmers were chosen with a random sampling method and with the snowball method to got 10 sellers. Interview and observation in collecting primary data while the documentation to retrieve secondary data. There are five red cayenne pepper marketing channels in Cidatar, Cisurupan District, Garut Regency. The marketing channels are, I) farmer – a collector – wholesaler Jakarta – retailer – consumer Jakarta; II) farmer – a collector – wholesaler Cikajang– retailer – consumer Cikajang; III) farmer – a collector – wholesaler Cikajang – wholesaler Jakarta – retailer – consumer Jakarta; IV) farmer – a collector – wholesaler Bandung – retailer – consumer Bandung; V) farmer – a collector – wholesaler Bandung – wholesaler Jakarta – retailer – consumer Jakarta. The margin analysis results that the smallest marketing margin is in marketing channel II at 52,3 per cent. The largest Farmer’s share is at 47 per cent in marketing channel II and the biggest ratio of πi/Ci is at 5,64 in marketing channel III. The suggestion that can be given to farmers is to choose marketing channel I because channel I am the channel with the great packing volume that may be delivered by the market and also the highest price compared to other marketing channels.

This study aims to identify the community interest to cash waqf. The population of this study are people living in Jabodetabek area. Variables used in this study include knowledge, understanding, awareness and promotion of community interest to cash waqf. Simple Random Sampling is the sampling method in this research and regression with ordinary least squared approach become its analysis method. The results show that knowledge and understanding do not have an influence on the community interest to doo cash waqf, while the awareness and promotion variables affect the community interest to do cash waqf.

ANALYSIS OF FARMERS' PERCEPTIONS TOWARD THE ROLE OF COUNSELING IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF PIG FARMING ON AGRIBUSINESS IN GIWAN VILLAGE, TIOM DISTRICT, LANNY JAYA REGENCY. The objective of this study was to determine farmer’s perceptons toward the role of agricultural extension agents in the development of pig livestock agribusiness for breeder’s in Giwan Village, Tiom District, Lanny Jaya Regency. This study used a survey method. Sample of group breeder wasdetermined by purposive sampling and sample of breeders was selected by simple random sampling method. The results of the study showed that: (1) Most pig farmers in Giwan village had good or high perceptions of extension workers in their roles as educators (80%), still have moderate as consultants (75%), as motivators (75%), and as organizers (80%) of farmers in providing counseling in Giwan village. The conclusion of this research was farmers in Giwan village have good perceptions of extension workers in their roles as educators, motivators, and as organizers of farmers in managing pigs' business.Keywords:  Agribusiness, Pig Farm, Extension, Giwan.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the marketing channel for water henna flowers. The marketing margin, the price received by the farmer or farmer's share, profit, and cost all contribute to the henna plant's marketing efficiency. The second purpose is to determine the price transmission elasticity. The study was conducted in the village of Dukuh Klopo, Peterongan District, Jombang Regency. The survey was place between February and April 2021 and included a total of 34 participants: 21 farmers, three collectors, and ten retailers. The survey method was employed for the investigation. Cost analysis, marketing margin and profit, marketing efficiency, and price transmission elasticity are all used in data analysis. In Dukuh Klopo Village, Peterongan District, Jombang Regency, there are two marketing channels for water henna flowers. The first channel comprises of farmers, retailers, and consumers. The second channel consists of farmers, collectors, retailers, and consumers. According to the findings of the research on the efficiency of the water henna flower marketing channel, the second marketing channel is the most efficient, with a value of 0.02 percent.

The Role of Agricultural Extension Workers In Assisting Farmers Rice at Lalan Distric Musi Banyuasin Regency. This study aims to find out how the role of Agricultural Extension Workers In Assisting Farmers Rice at Lalan Distric Musi Banyuasin Regency. Research has been conducted in the of BP3K Karang Agung Tengah Lalan Distric Musi Banyuasin Regency June-August, 2016. The method used in this study is a survey method, sampling method used in this study is simple random sampling, data collection methods used in this research were interviews and observations of agricultural extension field and farmers instance guided by questions (quisoner ) which has been prepared. The results showed that the role of Agricultural Extension Workers in the BP3K Karang Agung Tengah is a consultant, facilitator, and educator resources to assist rice farmers groups in the of Lalan District Musi Banyuasin Regency.

This research aims to determine the number of costs, Revenue, and Income of their Cayenne pepper farming in Belangian village Aranio sub-district. The method used is the survey method and observation techniques. The number of farmers using Purposive Sampling Method as many as 98 people, with Simple Random Sampling technique, so that 30 respondent farmers. The results of this study obtained a Production of 6955 kg/farmers. The average revenue obtained Rp.5.795,833/ farmers or Rp 5.738,44/ hectare. At the same time, the average income of farmers is Rp.3.033,991 or Rp.2.997,028/ hectare.
