Kerinci Regency is located at the West of Jambi Province. The regency has the highest number of tourism in Jambi province, according to the Department of Tourism and Culture of Jambi Province in 2014.Kerinci was ranked first in terms of the number of Tourism and 20 of them were historical/cultural tourism. Kerinci has a great opportunity in the development of the historical tourism sector. However, at present the attention to the historical tourism sector is still lacking. This research uses qualitative descriptive method where data is obtained from interviews and documentation. The results showed that several places in Siulak have the potential to be developed as historical tourism objects, but due to the lack of maintenance, it is necessary to take corrective steps to make these objects become historical tourism.

The aimed of this study was to analyze the management of Boonpring Ecotourism by Village Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) in order to increase income of the village (PADes). This study uses a case study design with a qualitative descriptive method. Qualitative data obtained by conducting in depth interviews, observations and documentation. The informants in this study were the Head of village, the Head of BUMDes, staff and community. Data reduction, data presentation, trianggulation and conclusion are data analysis  used in this study. The results of the study stated that the management of Boonpring Ecotourism had been carried out well by the Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) of Sanan Kerto in accordance with the cooperative, participatory, transparent, accountable, and sustainable principles. Good management of Boonpring Ecotourism is expected to increase Income of village in a sustainable manner by exploring the potential of villages through the tourism sector even though there are obstacles in the application of participatory principles, namely the quality of Human Resources (HR) that need to be trained.Keywords: Management Principles; tourismp; BUMDes; Income of Village. AbstrakTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengelolaan Ekowisata Boonpring oleh Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDes) dalam rangka meningkatkan pendapatan desa (PADes). Penelitian ini menggunakan desain studi kasus dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data kualitatif diperoleh dengan melakukan wawancara secara mendalam, observasi dan dokumentasi. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah Kepala Desa, kepala BUMDes, karyawan, dan masyarakat. Reduksi data, penyajian data, trianggulasi dan penarikan kesimpulan merupakan analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menyatakan pengelolaan Ekowisata Boonpring sudah dilakukan dengan baik oleh Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDes) Sanan kerto sesuai dengan prinsip kooperatif, partisipatif, emansipatif, transparan, akuntable, dan sustainable. Pengelolaan Ekowisata Boonpring yang baik diharapkan dapat meningkatkan Pendapatan Asli Desa secara berkelanjutan dengan menggali potensi desa melalui sektor pariwisata walaupun ada kendala dalam penerapan prinsip partisipatif yaitu kualitas Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) yang perlu dilatih.Kata Kunci: Prinsip Pengelolaan, wisata, BUMDes, PADes.

This study examines "shifting social and economic structural community due to the rapid development of the tourism sector in Bentuyung Village, Bali." The purpose of this study is to find out and describe the shift in the social and economic structure of society due to the disruption of tourism in Bentuyung Village, Ubud, Bali. This is a qualitative descriptive method, using proportional sampling techniques consisting of Villas and Hotels Owners and communities directly involved in the tourism sector. Shifting social and economic structure is inseparable from the embryo of globalization that is felt in all sectors of people's lives. Globalization is the spread of values ??and certain cultures throughout the world. Things that need to be anticipated in order to be able to avoid the negative aspects of globalization are the development of the quality of Indonesian human beings through education. Providing life skills to be able to create creativity and independence. Cultivating a culture and attitude to global life. The results of the discussion show that the creation of a transparent and democratic government. Increasing global public awareness to promote the tourism sector as a leading sector and transform tourism unlike catalyst for changing more positive direction.

Traditional Indonesian martial art called Pencak Silat , as one of the nation's cultural assets, pencak silat is increasingly developing in Indonesian society, both from the sports and from the socio-cultural. The purposed of this research was conducted to determine the potential development of pencak silat at Merpati Putih as a cultural tourism attraction. The research was conducted on active and passive members (who had been members) of the Merpati Putih Pencak Silat  (with total 612 of respondents). pencak silat  “Merpati Putih” (known as PPS Betako Merpati Putih) was formed around the 1550s BC. This research used a qualitative descriptive method, with primary data from the results of the questionnaire, and enriched with secondary data obtained from the internet and several other sources to complement this research. This research used a qualitative descriptive method, explaining the situation and facts found in the field. To explore members' perceptions of the potential development of pencak silat “Merpati Putih” as a cultural tourism attraction, questionnaires, online observations and interview conducted on the members of PPS Betako Merpati Putih. Pencak silat “Merpati Putih” has the potential to be developed as a cultural tourism attraction, by developing and managing it more professional so that it becomes a cultural tourism asset in term of tourists interest.

In the current era of disruption, innovation and creativity are needed in all lines of business, including the Tourism sector. Wanagiri Village is one of the tourist destination areas which is located in Buleleng Regency is currently conducting promotions to attract tourists visiting this place. Having a strategic location and involving the community, the type of tourist attraction developed is a selfie tour by having lakes and mountains as background. Using SWOT analysis, it is expected to be able to find out which type of promotion is most appropriate to attract tourists. This study used a qualitative descriptive method, informants with purposive sampling, and triangulation of data aimed at obtaining data validity.

Corporate Social Responsibility activities ideally be felt by the West Bandung Regency, where The West Bandung Regency has now transformed into an industrial area. This change of course, like the two-edged sword, the meaning is the presence of the company is actually able to provide changes in the economy for local communities, in an effort to prepare for the MEA, but on the other hand an industrial presence in West Bandung Regency giving new homework in terms of environmental management and the company's contribution to increasing local revenues of West Bandung regency. Whereas CSR is expected to become one of the company's contributions to improving the competitiveness of West Bandung Regency society. In other words, the company's contribution through Corporate Social Responsibility activities, become the hope of West Bandung regency government in building the human resources of competitive and independent and prosperous. Therefore, this study aims to dig deeper into the synergy of government and companies on CSR activities in order to face the MEA. This research is using qualitative descriptive method through data collection techniques of interviewing and observation. The results of this research indicate that in practice between the government and companies there are communication problems, therefore it is necessary to build appropriate communication models between the government and the companies as well as the community called tripartite corporate social responsibility so that corporate social responsibility activities better planned, targeted and sustainable.

This study aims to determine the Gondang Sabangunan performance in accompanying Sigale-gale at the Huta Bolon Museum for packaging tourism performances, impact and government support. The method in this study uses a qualitative descriptive method. The speakers in this study were employees of the Huta Bolon Simanindo Museum, 5 music players, 10 dancers, Simanindo community leaders, and tourists. The data was collected by means of observation, interviews, documentation and literature study. The results showed that the development of cultural tourism through the Gondang Sabangunan performance that accompanied Sigale-gale which is a cultural attraction to attract tourists at the Huta Bolon Simanindo Museum. The tortordi performance of the Huta Bolon Simanindo Museum was held on an open stage in the old village of Huta Bolon. Performances are not sacred but still follow the customary rules of the nigondang such as the number of types of gondang, the rules for requesting the type of gondang, the rules for movement in tortor, clothes and equipment. Another packaging of the show form is the short and dense duration, full of variations, an imitation of the original form. Tourists can enjoy the potential of Batak Toba culture, such as music, dances, historical objects, and the nuances of the Toba Batak village.

The covid-19 outbreak that currently hits Indonesia and the world has remained the community to be active to anticipate the spread of this virus. This condition certainly has an impact on tourism destinations and also stakeholders in the tourism sector with no tourist visits in the destination. To face these conditions related to The Covid-19 pandemic, tourism actors must start aggressively looking for new strategies to survive and rise from adversity.  Switching to digital media and making new innovations in digital use is considered to be the most suitable choice during this pandemic. One of the digital innovations that can be made by tourism actors is creating a virtual tour. Virtual tours provide the sensation of traveling for tourists without having to leave the house so that they can prevent the spread of this virus. By using a qualitative descriptive method, this research is a phenomenological study that tries to find out about the perceptions of these virtual tourists in experiencing the virtual tour as a tourism communication medium during the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia. As a result, even though they cannot feel the sensation and satisfaction of carrying out real tourism activities, virtual tour phenomena activities are quite enough to foster people's to be able to travel again when the conditions are back to normal.

Mount Kawi is a mountain believed to have supernatural powers. By the existence of Imam Soedjono and Eyang Djugo as historical figures, pilgrims often come to pray in search of blessings. Pilgrims coming to Mount Kawi are not only Javanese but also Chinese. The presence of the ethnic Chinese community influences the cultural distinction in the site. A large number of visitors coming to Mount Kawi brings several shifting elements. To attract the attention of pilgrims, the locals create religious-cultural tourism in Mount Kawi as a compelling attraction. The shift plays a serious impact on the socio-cultural dimension. This appealing creativity serves as a commodity for the tourist. Cultural commodity in religious tourism is supported by the interests of the authorities. Thus, the purpose of this study is to reveal the emergence of commodification in Mount Kawi. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method to describe the causes of commodification. The data are obtained from the field, observation, and interviews through informants. The narrative is employed instead of numeric data thus the data are organized, classified, and criticized. Hence, to reveal the cultural commodities in Mount Kawi, the commodification theory and hegemony are applied.

The existence of online community in the field of tourism through social media constructs the new form of developing and operating tourism sector. Social media is used for means of spreading information, communication and promotion. Promoting tourism potential can be carried out easily by these online community. one example of online community in the field of tourism is wisata grobogan community. the objective of this research is to describe the use of instagram done by wisata grobogan community in promoting potential of areas tourism.This research applies qualitative descriptive method. The object of the research is the account of @wisatagrobogan whis is used to promote the potential of areas tourism. Data is collected using semi-structured interview technique.Data analysis method used in this research uses triangulation. The results showed that in the promotion of the tourism potential of the area may go well and smoothly through the four stages, namely the presence of communicators, messaging, media and communicant. And the use of social media Instagram provides many benefits and advantages for Grobogan travel community in promoting the tourism potential of the area. Some of these benefits, among others, can easily disseminate travel information, and can attract the attention of other users more widely supported also by the use of features that are owned Instagram.

Jeneponto Regency has various kinds of natural attractions and cultural tourism that can be managed and developed so that it becomes an attractive tourist destination. One of the natural potentials of Jeneponto Regency is bathing in Tamalatea Sub-district called Permandian Birtaria Kassi. The bath was once very crowded but in recent years there has been a drastic decline and has resulted in a decline in tourist interest. This study aims to find out and analyze the effectiveness of the role of the Regional Government in revitalizing tourism in Permandian Birtaria Kassi, Tamalatea Subdistrict, Jeneponto Regency. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive method with a unit of analysis Bathing in Birtaria Kassi, Jeneponto Regency that uses 4 key informants.  Oka revealed that there are three aspects in measuring the effectiveness of the government's role in fulfilling tourism facilities and infrastructure, namely Attraction, Accessibility, and Amenities. The results of the study indicate that the role of the government has not been effective in revitalizing the bath of Birtaria Kassi. Therefore, the authors suggest that the regional government of Jeneponto Regency prepare a Human Resource Data Manager who is competent in their fields, allocates a special budget to fix all existing infrastructure shortcomings and the need for cooperation between all stakeholders in maintaining security and comfort for tourists.
