The purpose of this study was to determine how effective the use of SIKD in managing archives in the Pekanbaru City Library and Archives Service. The research method used is quantitative descriptive method, with data collection done through observation, questionnaires, interviews, documentation and literature study. The questionnaire was distributed to the archive manager with a research sample of 6 people. The results of this study indicate that the average score is 3.35, based on preparations using the Likert scale at intervals of 3.26 - 4.00, that the archive manager is very positive and effective using SIKD in managing the archives at the Department of Library and Archives of Pekanbaru City . And the obstacle faced by managers in using SIKD is one of the network problems, where in the Pekanbaru City Library and Archives Service the network is sometimes unstable.

Research that the author did aim to know how to design inventory system on Planet Phone.The method used is quantitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques used are literature study, observation, and interviews. From the research conducted found that there is a problem on inventory data processing. The process of inventory data processing only by writing using a general ledger. So this causes inaccuracies and delays in reports. Therefore the authors make the information system by using PHP and MySQL database. This system consists of inputting inventory data, inventory reports, sales reports and income reports. As for some suggestions given to tackle the problem is by connecting the system with internet connection, for employees more quickly and effectively in penginputan inventory data and owner can also know the sales reports and income reports more quickly without having to come directly to the store.

This research aims to find out how the SWOT analysis as a strategy to improve competitiveness and obstacles in the Bank of Riau Kepri, Pekanbaru Business Unit. The research method used is quantitative descriptive method. The SWOT analysis used is descriptive analysis methods, SWOT matrix and SWOT diagram analysis. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews, questionnaires and literature. The results of this study are the SWOT analysis as a strategy to increase competitiveness needs to be evaluated again so that the formation of good performance from within and from outside the Bank of Riau Kepri, Pekanbaru Sharia Business Unit in advancing these banks throughout Province of Riau and Riau Islands.

This research is a purpose to know and analyzing to the community about good religion behavior in accordance with religion syari'at like religion understanding, religion experience and religion practice. there are five dimensions of diversity dimension of belief, religion practice, experience, knowledge and consequences. The research method used is descriptive research. Which aims to systematically describe the facts or characteristics of a particular population in a factual and accurate manner. The data collection using observation techniques, interviews and literature study as a complement. The reason for using this descriptive research method is because with the descriptive method can be described clearly about the symptoms that exist in the community Blok Rengas  desa Jatibarang Indramayu (a) condition objektif Majlis Ta’lim Al-Quran blok rengas desa jatibarang indramayu (b) condition community Blok Rengas Desa Jatibarang Indramayu (c) the results achieved in the implementation of the guidance of fi'ah qalillah in improving the religious behavior of the community Block Rengas  desa Jatibarang Indramayu. From this research obtained the result that the process of guidance fi'ah qalillah in improving religious behavior of society blok rengas desa jatibarang indramayu categorized as able to minimize behaviors that are not in accordance with religious behavior, that is: 1) Morals to god 2) morals to fellow human beings 3) morals to onself 4) akhlak to the environment.   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis kepada masyarakat tentang perilaku keagamaan yang baik yang sesuai dengan syari’at agama seperti pemahaman agama, pengalaman agama dan pengamalan agama. Ada lima dimensi keberagamaan yaitu dimensi keyakinan, praktik agama, pengalaman, pengetahuan dan konsekuensi-konsekuensi.Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif. Yang bertujuan melukiskan secara sistematis fakta atau karakteristik populasi tertentu secara factual dan cermat. Adapun pengumpulan datanya dengan menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan studi pustaka sebagai pelengkap. Alasan menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif ini adalah karena dengan metode deskriptif dapat digambarkan dengan jelas tentang gejala yang ada di dalam masyarakat Blok Rengas Desa Jatibarang Indramayu (a) kondisi objektif Majlis Ta’lim Al-Quran Blok Rengas Desa Jatibarang Indramayu (b) kondisi masyarakat Blok Rengas Desa Jatibarang Indramayu yang diberikan bimbingan fi’ah qalillah (c) hasil yang dicapai dalam pelaksanaan bimbingan fi’ah qalillah dalam meningkatkan perilaku keagamaan masyarakat Blok Rengas Desa Jatibarang Indramayu. Dari penelitian ini diperoleh hasil bahwa proses bimbingan fi’ah qalillah dalam meningkatkan perilaku keagamaan masyarakat Blok Rengas Desa Jatibarang Indramayu dikategorikan mampu meminimalisirkan perilaku-perilaku yang tidak sesuai dengan perilaku keagamaan yaitu: 1) Akhlak kepada Allah 2) Akhlak kepada sesama manusia 3) Akhlak kepada diri sendiri 4) Akhlak kepada lingkungan.

The ability of students in learning to determine the elements of the short story theme is still low. Therefore, the implementation of learning requires an effective and efficient strategy. The objectives contained in this study are. 1) Explain the ability of students in determining the elements of the theme of the short story Chef Muhammad Damhuri in Class XI SMA Negeri 1 Maja before learning using the discussion method? 2) Explain the ability of students in determining the elements of the theme of the short story cook by Muhammad Damhuri in Class XI SMA Negeri 1 Maja after learning using the discussion method? 3) Explain the effectiveness of the use of the discussion method in learning to determine the theme elements of the short story Chef Muhammad Damhuri in Class XI SMA Negeri 1 Maja. The research method used in this research is the descriptive method. While the data collection techniques used were literature techniques and test techniques (pretest and posttest). Based on the results of data processing and discussion, the average pretest score was 71 or 71%, while the post-test average score was 79.2 or 79.2%. This means that the ability of students has increased in average value by 8.2 or 8.2% after using the discussion method. Based on calculations using the product-moment correlation formula, it shows a correlation value of 0.760, or based on the guidelines for providing interpretation, the data correlation coefficient shows a high correlation. Kemampuan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran menentukan unsur tema cerpen masih rendah. Oleh karena itu, pelaksanaan pembelajaran memerlukan strategi yang efektif dan efisien.  Tujuan yang terdapat dalam penelitian ini yaitu. 1) Menjelaskan kemampuan peserta didik dalam menentukan unsur tema cerpen Juru Masak karya Muhammad Damhuri di Kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Maja sebelum pembelajaran menggunakan metode diskusi? 2) Menjelaskan kemampuan peserta didik dalam menentukan unsur tema cerpen Juru Masak karya Muhammad Damhuri di Kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Maja setelah pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode diskusi? 3) Menjelaskan efektivitas penggunaan metode diskusi dalam pembelajaran menentukan unsur tema cerpen Juru Masak karya Muhammad Damhuri di Kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Maja. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode deskriptif. Sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan ialah teknik kepustakaan dan teknik tes (pretest dan posttest). Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data dan pembahasan menunjukkan perolehan nilai rata-rata pretest sebesar 71 atau 71%, sedangkan perolehan nilai rata-rata posttest sebesar 79,2 atau 79,2%. Artinya kemampuan peserta didik mengalami peningkatan nilai rata-rata sebesar 8,2 atau 8,2% setelah menggunakan metode diskusi. Berdasarkan penghitungan menggunakan rumus korelasi product moment menunjukkan nilai korelasi sebesar 0,760 atau berdasarkan pedoman pemberian interpretasi koefisien korelasi data menunjukkan korelasi yang tinggi.

The objectives of this study include: (a) presenting a description of the script of Kitab Ilmu Kaji Diri dan Ilmu Firasat, (b) presenting the transliteration result of the text of the Kitab Ilmu Kaji Diri and Ilmu Firasat, (c) displaying the translation of  Kitab Ilmu Kaji Diri dan Ilmu Firasat from old Malay into Indonesian. This research is categorized in the type of philological research. The object of this research is the text of Kitab Ilmu Kaji Diri dan Ilmu Firasat. This research method is a philological research method adapted to the research stages and descriptive methods. The data collection stage used the literature study or observation method and at the script description stage the descriptive method was used. Furthermore, for the transliteration stage the transliteration method or the transliteration method is used, then the language transfer process uses the language transfer method. The results of this study are (1) a complete description of the manuscript, (2) transcription of the text of Kitab Ilmu Kaji Diri dan Ilmu Firasat from Arabic-Malay into Latin without changing the type of language that can be read and understood by today’s society. (3) The text of Kitab Ilmu Kaji Diri dan Ilmu Firasat has been translated from old Malay to Bahasa Indonesia. Some of the vocabularies of the Malay language vocabulary contained in the script of Kitab Ilmu Kaji Diri dan Ilmu Firasat are still preserved to maintain the originality of the old vocabulary.

Abstract— This research aims to analyze the mastery level of pedagogical competence of PPG teachers of SMK, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Padang. The research method used was quantitative descriptive and qualitative methods. The data collection techniques were by using a questionnaire, interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this research showed that the pedagogical competence of PPG teachers of SMK was still low as seen from the average score of each indicator categorized in the less powerful category. The results of this study can be used as an illustration for the future of the learning of PPG teachers of SMK by lecturers in improving the mastery of pedagogical competence. Financial statements are actually still a problem in a company that really needs to be taken seriously because the good and bad financial statements describe the company's financial condition. The purpose of this research is to find out how the company's financial condition and comparison of predictions of financial statements at PT. Three Pillars of Prosperous Food Tbk. The research method used in this study is a descriptive method with a quantitative approach, in which the authors collect data in the form of balance sheet financial position reports. Data collection techniques used were documentation and literature study. The results of this study indicate that there is a fluctuating development in the balance sheet and income statement, even in the balance sheet from year to year it also fluctuates, the income statement has increased from 2014 to 2016 and always decreases in 2017 Conclusion, by using trend analysis it can be predicted that the value of the postal year will come to experience a fluctuating development which is also the same as in previous years. The research aim was to find out the improvement of biology achievement of the tenth grade students of science class at SMA Negeri 3 Lubuklinggau. The research method used was Classroom Action Research. The population was all of the tenth grade students of science class. The sampling technique was purposive sampling technique with 32 students as the samples. The instruments of data collection were observation sheets and tests. The data were analyzed both through quantitative and qualitative descriptive method. The results showed that the students achievement was improved indicated by initial percentage 37%, cycle I 43,75 % to 59,37 % in cycle II. The data of students learning activities were collected from some parameters such as students' activities, response, cooperation, responsibilities, tolerances, and diligence with the average score in cycle I only 62,03 and it was improved in cycle II to 79,53. In conclusion, discovery learning model could improve students' learning achievements and students' learning activities. Keywords: students achievement, model discovery learning

Abstrak. Pokok masalah yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah kegiatan User Education bagi Mahasiswa Baru sebagai pemustaka dalam mengakses sumber-sumber informasi (resources). Kegiatan User Education diukur oleh tiga sub variabel yaitu pengetahuan mengenai berbagai sumber informasi, pemanfaatannya, dan kedisiplinan pemustaka. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah  mahasiswa baru  FPMIPA Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI). Teknik sampling menggunakan Purposive Random Sampling, dengan rumus Yamane. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan adalah 88 orang. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket tertutup dengan skala Likert yang dibagi menjadi 5 kategori. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, dapat diketahui bahwa kegiatan User Education dapat digambarkan bahwa pengetahuan mengenai sumber-sumber  pada mahasiswa baru FPMIPA dalam kategori cukup baik, untuk pemanfaatan sumber-sumber oleh mahasiswa baru  FPMIPA dalam kategori cukup baik, dan untuk kedisiplinan pemustaka pada mahasiswa baru FPMIPA dengan kategori baik. Kata Kunci  : UserEducation, Pemustaka, Resources, Kedisiplinan, Pengetahuan.Abstract. Background to the present study is the knowledge of students to maximize their search to find information from the resources available. Issue to the topic of discussion includes facts on interrelation between User Education and accesibility. User Education is measured by three  variables, namely user's knowledge on resources, benefiting of the resources, and user disciplinary. The population of this study is all newly Enrolled Student of FPMIPA, Indonesia University of Education batch of 2014 academic year, with samples taken as many as 88 students. Sampling techniques used is  Purposive  Random   Sampling   with   Yamane  Formula.   The   research   method  used  descriptive method with quantitative approach. The data collection technique used questionnaires with closed Likert scale of five categories. In terms of user'sused  descriptive method with quantitative approach. The data collection technique used questionnaires with closed Likert scale of five categories. In terms of user's resources knowledge on resources of the newly enrolled student FPMIPA  falls into the category of sufficient when benefiting the resources. Companies must have innovative ways of communicating messages to compete with other companies because of the many new companies that have sprung up. One of them is by using television media. However, with the increasing number of companies placing advertisements, the number of TV stations in Indonesia is now around 1027 television stations. The public's tendency to switch channels has made advertising conditions worse so that creative advertising is needed. Using a qualitative descriptive method focuses on describing, analyzing, and interpreting Tokopedia advertisements from television media. The data collection techniques used were observation, literature study, and documentation. The results showed that the Tokopedia WIB "Waktu Indonesia Belanja" advertisement was always on television. The advert is inspiring and easy to remember. This advertising has creativity as seen from the indicators of connectedness, suitability, and novelty.
