The purpose of this study was to reveal the contribution of arm muscle explosive power to the speed of tennis service to students of the Faculty of Sport Science, Padang State University. The population in this study were FIK UNP students who had taken basic tennis courses. While the sample is 100 students who are considered to have good servive techniques. Data obtained from the results of the arm muscle explosive power test performed with one Hand Medicine Ball, grip strength test with grip strength dynamometer while the service test was performed with Hewitt Achievement Test. Based on data analysis, it was found that the results obtained: 1) There was a contribution of arm muscle explosive power to the speed of service, where the contribution was 75.19%. Thusthe explosive power of the arm muscles contributes to the speed of service. Punch service is one of the keys to a victory. The focus of this research is to find out how much the arm muscle explosive power contributes to the speed of service. This research will be applied to 100 FIK students taking field tennis courses in 2018. The aim is to apply to students so that we can see directly how much the contribution of explosive power arm muscles towards the speed of the tennis court service, besides the contribution of other factors

Abstract: This study aims to describe and assess the level of ability of the physical condition students of the Physical Education, Health and Recreation (PJKR) class of 2018 off. B Faculty of Sport Science, State University of Malang, the results of data analysis of the 20 meter running speed test are 82.61 percent in the "enough" category, the agility T-test is 78.26 percent in the "enough" category, the zig zag agility test 78.26 percent for the "enough" category. , the muscle explosive power test of the upright jumping leg was 60.87 percent in the "good" category, the muscle explosive power test of the jumping leg of the frog was 60.87 percent in the "good" category, the muscle explosive power test of the arm in throwing the basketball without the prefix 54.35 percent was in the "enough" category , the body flexibility test 58.70 percent in the "good" category, the sit and reach body flexibility test of 54.35 percent in the "sufficient" category, and the static back-up body flexibility test of 54.35 percent including the "good" category. The conclusion of this study is the ability of the physical condition of the students of the Physical Education, Health and Recreation (PJKR) study program class of 2018 off. B, Faculty of Sport Science, State University of Malang, is in the moderate category. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan mengkaji tingkat kemampuan kondisi fisik mahasiswa prodi Pendidikan Jasmani, Kesehatan dan Rekreasi (PJKR) angkatan tahun 2018 off. B Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan Universitas Negeri Malang diperoleh hasil analisis data tes kecepatan lari 20 meter 82,61 persen kategori “cukup”, tes kelincahan T-test 78,26 persen kategori “cukup”, tes kelincahan zigzag 78,26 persen kategori “cukup”, tes daya ledak otot tungkai loncat tegak 60,87 persen kategori “baik”, tes daya ledak otot tungkai loncat katak 60,87 persen kategori “baik”, tes daya ledak otot lengan lempar bolabasket tanpa awalan 54,35 persen kategori “cukup”, tes kelentukan tubuh kayang 58,70 persen kategori “baik”, tes kelentukan tubuh sit and reach 54,35 persen kategori “cukup”, dan tes kelentukan tubuh back-up tubuh statis 54,35 persen termasuk kategori “baik”. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah kemampuan kondisi fisik mahasiswa prodi Pendidikan Jasmani, Kesehatan dan Rekreasi (PJKR) angkatan tahun 2018 off. B Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan Universitas Negeri Malang termasuk dalam kategori cukup.

The abstract This study aims to determine the relationship between the strength of the squeeze of the hand and the explosive power of the arm on the ability of forehand drive in playing tennis. The study population was all students of the Faculty of Sport Science State University of Makassar with a sample of 40 people. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Based on data analysis, there was a significant correlation between hand squeeze strength and arm explosive power to the ability of forehand drive in the tennis playing field of the students of the Faculty of Sport Sciences State University of Makassar.

The problem with this research is the low accuracy of the flat service of the tennis player when playing, meaning that the flat service punch done by the player is merely hitting the ball into the opponent's service area but does not have clear direction and goals. The low accuracy of flat servicing can be influenced by the grip strength factor, so in this study the authors aim to explain the contribution of grip strength to the accuracy of flat servicing of the tennis court of the State University of Padang (PTL UNP). This research is correlational, which is to find out how much the relationship between variables and contributions made from the independent variables to the dependent variable. The population in this study was the tennis court players in the Padang State University (PTL UNP) Field Tennis Training club and for purposive sampling technique for sampling. To measure the strength of the grip using a dynamometer handgrip tool, while the accuracy of flat service by performing the Hewwit Tennis Achievement Test. So from the results of this study concluded that the accuracy of flat service is influenced by the strength of the grip

This research is a field experimental study with a 2 x 2 factorial design. The population is all students of the Faculty of Sport Science, Jambi State University with SportsTraining Education samples with a sampling technique is a proportional sampling of 40 people. The data analysis technique used is Analysis of Variance (ANAVA) at a significant level of 95%. By looking at the existing problems, the results obtained from the data processing shows that: there is no significant difference in effect between hurdles and side jump exercises on the ability of heading balls in football (Fo = 0.939> Ft = 4.11). There is a significant difference between the power of high limb muscle explosions with low limb muscle explosiveness to the ability of heading balls in football (Fo = 17,976> Ft = 4.11). For athletes who have high leg muscle explosive power, there is a significant difference in effect between goal jump training and side lomato training on ball heading abilities in football (to = 6.034> tt = 1.73). For athletes who have low leg muscle explosive power, there is a significant difference in effect between hurdles and side jump exercises on heading ball abilities in football (to = 12,357> tt = 1.73).

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study was to determine the difference in the effect of knee tuck jump training and box jump training on the increase in volleyball smash in terms of leg explosive power. This research is a field experiment research with a 2 x 2 factorial design. Population and sample were the players of the Sepaktakraw Faculty Student Activity Board, Faculty of Sport Science, Makassar State University, with 60 male players. The data analysis technique used was Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) at a significant level of 95%. The results of the value obtained from data processing show that: There is a significant difference in the effect of knee tuck jump training and box jump training on smash skills in volleyball, box jump training is better (Fo = 32.20> Ft = 4.02). There was a significant difference between the high explosive power and the low leg explosive power on the smash skill in volleyball, the high-limb explosive power was better (Fo = 8.40> Ft = 4.02). There is a significant difference between knee tuck jump training and box jump training on smash skills in volleyball in terms of high leg explosive power, box jump training is better (to = 14.341> tt = 2.048). There is a significant difference in the effect of knee tuck jump training and box jump training on smash skills in volleyball in terms of low leg explosive power, box jump training is better (to = 16.137> tt = 2.048). ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan pengaruh antara latihan knee tuck jump dan latihan box jump terhadap peningkatan smash bolavoli ditinjau daya ledak tungkai. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen lapangan dengan rancangan faktorial 2 x 2. Populasi dan sampel adalah pemain Badan Kegiatan Mahasiswa Fakultas Sepaktakraw Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan Universitas Negeri Makassar dengan jumlah 60 orang pemain putra. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Analisis Varians (ANAVA) pada taraf signifikan 95%.   Hasil nilai yang diperoleh dari pengolahan data menunjukkan bahwa : Ada perbedaan pengaruh yang signifikan antara latihan knee tuck jump dan latihan box jump terhadap keterampilan smash dalam permainan bolavoli,  latihan box jump lebih baik (Fo = 32,20 > Ft = 4,02). Ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara daya ledak tungkai tinggi dengan daya ledak tungkai rendah terhadap keterampilan smash dalam permainan bolavoli, daya ledak tungkai tinggi lebih baik (Fo = 8,40 > Ft = 4,02). Ada perbedaan pengaruh yang signifikan antara latihan knee tuck jump dan latihan box jump terhadap keterampilan smash dalam permainan bolavoli ditinjau dari daya ledak tungkai tinggi, latihan box jump lebih baik (to = 14,341 > tt = 2,048). The problem in this study is the low ability of grounstroke students at the Faculty of Sport Science, Padang State University. This study aims to find out how much the groundstroke ability of students at the Faculty of Sports in Padang State University is using drill drill method. This type of research is quasi-experimental (quasi experimental). The population in this study were sports coaching students who took basic tennis tennis courses, while the sample was taken by random sampling with a total of 13 people. The instrument test used is the Hewitt Tennis Acheivement Test, one of which aims to evaluate the basic technique of a groundstroke. While the data analysis technique uses normality test and t-test. The results of this study are that there is an effect of the drill training method to increase the ability of FIK Groundstroke Students at Padang State University. This is proven by tcount = 3.41> t table = 1.77.

This study aims to see how much the contribution of reaction speed and arm muscle strength to the backhand ability of students at the Faculty of Sport Science, Padang State University.This research method is correlation. The population in this study were students who took part in the tennis court classes and only 20 male students were sampled, using a purposive sampling technique. This research was conducted on September 24, 2019, taking place in the indoor tennis court of the Faculty of Sport Science, Padang State University. Reaction velocity data were taken with the whole body reaction test, arm muscle strength with a two hand medicine ball put test, and the ability to test the ability of backhand tennis court. The data analysis technique of this study used the requirements analysis test technique, namely the normality test and continued with product moment correlation analysis, multiple correlation then continued with the regression test.The results of data analysis show that: (1). There is a contribution between reaction speed and backhand capability, which is 16%; (2) there is a contribution between the strength of the arm muscles towards the ability to backhand, which is 30%; (3) there is a contribution between reaction speed and arm muscle strength together to the backhand ability, which is 36%.

The problem in this study was the low ability of the muscle explosive power of the UK Karate UNP athletes. This study aims to see the effect of weight training using Bench Press on the explosive power of arm muscles of UK karate athletes at UNP. The population in this study were athletes from the Padang State University Karate Activity Unit, amounting to 15 people. Sampling is done by Total Sampling, then the sample in this study amounted to 15 people. The treatment in this study was carried out as many as 16 meetings and measurements of arm muscle explosive power before and after treatment (pretest-posttes design). The instrument used in this study was the Two Hand Medicine Ball Put test. After the data is obtained, the data is analyzed using t-test. The results showed: weight training using the Bench Press had a significant effect on the explosive power of the athlete's arm Unit of Karate University Padang State University's karate activity was proven where t count 6.42> t table 2.15 thus the hypothesis in this study was accepted.
