The communities of Islamic boarding schools as institutions that are born from the basis and doctrine of Islam are meticulously and courageously successful in dialectics with the facts of life. In the colonial era, the communities of Islamic boarding schools did not only fight because of the reasons which the colonialism exploited and treated the people in a non-human way, but also more than the religious doctrine was the most basic foundation so that resistance occurred continuously. The communities of Islamic boarding school is also able to provide a theological solution to critical issues related to the basic foundation of nation and state, such as the basic state debate in the Jakarta charter, and the single principle of Pancasila. As the result, the communities of Islamic boarding schools have made a final decision known the Unitary State of the Republic of  Indonesia (NKRI), Bhinneka Tunggal Eka (unity in diversity), Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution is the final and complete for Indonesian nation.

The many threats of radicalization in the middle of society, the demonstration actions that often ask for the application of certain ideologies within the state of Indonesia, the conflict between ethnic, religious, racial and custom makes the tranquility of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika society to be threatened and the erosion of values Pancasila among the younger generation that endanger the survival of the Indonesian nation.The problem of this research is how the Political Law of the State in the concept and context of Pancasila and Diversity in defending the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia and How the Strength of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia Based on Pancasila and Unity in Diversity and How Radicalism and Threat Against the Unity of the Unitary Republic State Indonesia.This research uses normative juridical approach method, then data collection procedure is done by literature study, data processing procedure is done by data classification, data inventory, systematization of data, and data analysis is done by qualitative method.The result of the research, the politics of constitutional law in the concept and context of Pancasila and Diversity in defending the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia in accordance with the nationalist ideology set forth in the 1945 Constitution, the power of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia based on Pancasila and Diversity is based on the strength of local wisdom from all elements of the nation Indonesia, radicalism and threats to the unity of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia through the strengthening of national insight among the younger generation and the people and leaders of the nation and state apparatus.Suggestion in this research, expected to government can reinforce study of nationality and education of Pancasila and Diversity, to Indonesian society.

Penggunaan istilah empat pilar kehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara untuk program sosialisasi telah menimbulkan polemik dan perdebatan di masyarakat. Empat pilar tersebut meliputi Pancasila, UUD 1945, NKRI, dan Bhinneka Tunggal Ika yang dirumuskan oleh MPR RI. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan dampak sosialisasi Empat Pilar tersebut terhadap pendidikan Pancasila di perguruan tinggi. Data penelitian diambil dari buku, jurnal ilmiah, artikel surat kabar, dan berita di media online ataupun offline, dan dokumen yuridis, seperti peraturan perundang-undangan. Analisis data menggunakan pendekatan interpretatif, induksi-analitis, semiotik, dan analisis wacana. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) sosialisasi empat pilar berdampak pada ambiguitas pemaknaan dan pemahaman baik dari peserta didik maupun dosen dalam pembelajaran Pancasila sebagai dasar atau pilar kehidupan bernegara dan berbangsa, dan (2) penggunaan istilah empat pilar telah mengacaukan pemahaman dan pengetahuan para peserta didik dalam memahami Pancasila.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------The application of the term “Four Pillars of Life of the People and the Nation” in socialization creates polemic and debate in society. Those four pillars are Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution, the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, and Unity in Diversity, which formulated by the People's Consultative Assembly of the Republic of Indonesia. The objective of this research is to investigate the impact that socialization has on the education of Pancasila in a higher level of education. The research data obtained from books, scientific journals, newspaper articles, other online and offline sources, and legal documents, for instance, legislation. Interpretative, analytic-induction, semiotic, and disclosure approaches applied to the analysis. The result shows that the socialization has immense impacts on 1). The ambiguity toward the meaning and the understanding by both students and lecturers in learning Pancasila as the pillar of the life of the people and the nation, and 2).  The use of the term “four pillars” has disrupted the understanding and the knowledge of students in their comprehension toward Pancasila.

This research is motivated by the loss of Indonesian citizenship status experienced by Indonesian citizens who are members of ISIS combatants. This is in line with of Article 23 letter e in Law No. 12 of 2006. The purpose of this study is to analyze the arrangements to regain the status of Indonesian citizens. This type of research is normative law. This study uses a law approach and the concept of the problem maslahah. The main material data of this study are from perimer legal material and secondary legal material. The results of this study conclude that first, in the perspective of the Citizenship Law and its implementing regulations, ex-ISIS former citizens are not eligible to regain Indonesian citizenship status as regulated by Article 9 of Law No. 12 of 2006 and Article 2 to Article 12 of PP No. 2 of 2007. Second, in the perspective of the problem maslahah, the Citizenship Act and its implementing regulations do not conflict with the sources and the propositions of Islamic law. Therefore, maintaining the sovereignty of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia and the interests of the people by not giving them RI citizenship status is a beneficial act.

based on regulatory and archival documents analysis, the article considers the problem-solving experience when opening noble gymnasiums’ boarding schools in the Kiev educational district curator’s council activities. The Council’s position on this issue, the procedure for making and executing its decisions are clarified on the example of opening the second boarding school at the first Kiev gymnasium in 1836. Thoroughly analysing the state of affairs of the already-performing noble boarding school at the first Kiev gymnasium, Kiev educational district curator’s council members came to the conclusion that one more boarding school opening was necessary. They either approved of the staff developed by the educational district curator, and made proposals on sources of its initial arrangement funding. It is established that the opinion of Kiev educational district curator’s council regarding the second noble boarding school opening at the first Kyiv gymnasium was taken into account by the Ministry of public education when making the final decision.

Abstract: The main capital that causes a Kiai to succeed indeveloping education in Islamic boarding schools is, in essence,extraordinary knowledge in his leadership in developing education inhis Islamic boarding school. So that education in Islamic boardingschools that are developing at this time is solely dependent on theleadership of the Kiai in developing his education. Based on thedescription of the problem, the researcher raised the title "KiaiLeadership in developing educational curriculum in Islamic boardingschools (case study: Pondok Pesantren al-Rifaie 2 Gondanglegi,Islamic Boarding School Miftahul Ulum Putri Ganjaran, and IslamicBoarding Schools of the People of al-Amin Malang). background of theproblem that has been explained above, then the problem formulationcan be taken, namely: 1. How is the leadership of the Kiai indeveloping the education curriculum at Pondok Pesantren al-Rifaie 2Gondanglegi Malang? 2. How is Kiai's leadership in developing theeducation curriculum at Miftahul Ulum Islamic Boarding School inGanjaran Gondanglegi Malang? 3. How is Kiai's leadership indeveloping an educational curriculum at Pondok Pesantren Rakyat alAmin Malang? In order to obtain truly valid data in this study, theresearcher needs to determine the appropriate data collectiontechniques. Therefore, researchers use the following techniques: 1.Interview techniques, 2. Observation techniques, 3. Documentationtechniques. From the results of research conducted by researchers todescribe the leadership of Kiai in developing an educationalcurriculum in Islamic boarding schools (case study: Pondok Pesantren al-Rifaie 2 Gondanglegi, Islamic Boarding School Miftahul Ulum PutriGanjaran, and Islamic Boarding Schools of al-Amin Malang), it can beconcluded the results of the data namely three Kiai in developingeducational curricula in their respective Islamic boarding schools, bysubmitting to heads of fields or units in developing educationalcurricula, and using responsive leadership models

This study aims to analyze the role of the Riyadhul Jannah Islamic Boarding School in community economic empowerment in Pacet Village, Mojokerto. This study uses a qualitative research approach to understand phenomena about what is experienced by research subjects, such as subjects, perceptions, motivations, actions, and so forth. The results showed that the Riyadhul Jannah Islamic boarding school had a role in community empowerment around the boarding school. The role of Islamic boarding schools is shown by the activities of the business units of PT. Rijan Dinamis Selaras which involve communities around the boarding schools so that the benefits can be felt directly by the people of Pacet Village and its surroundings.Keywords: Economic Empowerment, Islamic Business, Islamic Communities

This research aims to know the process of social aspects influenced the importance of accountability in an organization of Islamic religious education that is don't give priority to profits in its operational activities, in Indonesia is often referred to as boarding schools. In order to further deepen the social accountability of the process, then the researchers used a qualitative research method with approach case studies boarding school Sidogiri Pasuruan. As for the analysis tools used are interactive analysis. As noted, there are more and more accountability role played in ancient civilizations and pre-modern societies. Therefore, at this time, the case for tracing the genealogy of accountability as a follow up said is best seen as a presumption that requires further examination. One of them is about the accountability of boarding schools which is rich in religious values and culture as a form of the spread of Islam. The dynamic life of boarding schools has been proven with the involvement of active participation in providing service to the community and many aspects of life that always accompany it. Interestingly, in terms of financial resources, the pesantren depends not only on the parents of the students, but also other sources of funding. The existence of this mandate, then boarding schools are definitely required to conduct financial accountability. These principles are very in line with the principles of Islamic law. It is closely related to surat Al-Baqarah verse 282 and 283 goals for the benefit of the people, i.e. If there is a transaction then write so that measurements obtained in a fair manner, not preferential treatment and is not reduced (ash-Syu'ara v. 181-184). Can be said to forbid these forms of transactions contrary to the Shariah.

The radical stigma among Islamic boarding schools still becomes a negative opinion among the people. This is reinforced by a press released by National Counter Terrorism Agency, called BNPT, in which there are nineteen Islamic boarding schools indicated radicalism in Indonesia. For this reason, deradicalization needs to be applied. Based on the problem, this research aimed at finding out how to deradicalize among Islamic boarding schools. This was a kind of qualitative research using an in-depth interview to collect the data. The research was conducted in Al-Muayyad Boarding School, Assalam Boarding School, and Al-Mukmin Boarding School. The findings revealed that Al-Muayyad Boarding School had communication between leaders and Islamic boarding schools, and also there was the spirit of maintaining unity. From Assalam Boarding School, it revealed that it implemented the curriculum of the religious department and work a lot by writing ideas about radicalism in the media. While the representative of Al-Mukmin explained that there were many discussions with individuals or groups that were considered radical, increasing the source of reference so that not to believe in only one media but must compare to other media.

Abstract: Modern Islamic boarding schools are also called  pesantren kholaf (modern)  as acronyms of salaf or ashriyah. The model of integration of Islam, science and culture is contained in the conditions of the Islamic boarding school, the methods, traditions and intellectual spirit of the santri in the pesantren Khalaf  with all the combination of Islamic values ​​and culture, having challenges that must be overcome in facing challenges in the global era. With its very integrated the slogan, al muhafadhah 'ala al qadim al shalih wa al-ahdz bi al-jadid allashlah (holding good old things and taking new things better. This slogan can be the key to reconciling tradition and modernization: Modernization in Islamic education is a renewal that occurs in Islamic boarding schools, at least it can erase the image of some people who consider Islamic boarding schools to be traditional educational institutions, now they want to produce true scientists who are able to produce ulama. protect the people and advance the nation and state.   The existence of pesantren in the midst of society has a very strategic meaning. Pesantren institutions that are rooted in the community, especially rural communities, are a separate force in arousing the enthusiasm and passion of the community for progress. One of the pesantren that has a long history of the Republic of Indonesia is pesantren Cijati Majalengka. Darul Falah Islamic Boarding School, Cijati. The Community Empowerment Program in Islamic Boarding Schools in terms of economic, social, psychological-counseling, religion, education and other aspects through community service cooperation between universities and partners is expected to provide optimal empowerment for the pesantren environment and the communities around the pesantren area. This service was carried out at the Darul Falah Islamic Boarding School which is located at Jl. K.H Mahfud No. 23 Kelurahan Cijati Kec / Kab. Majalengka with in-house training methods, in the form of socialization, training, and consultation. The conclusion of the community service carried out is the need for a holistic empowerment synergy to increase the potential of the pesantren.
