These days dakwah is not only interpreted as transformation of a pure religious value, but also transformation of a more relevant value including many aspects in digital era. Digital era is when society succumbed into the flow of information causing cultural shock and difficulties on synthesizing meaning from those scattered information. Dakwah on Digital age must accommodate societal needs which tend to move into a mass society. It results in strategy and more humane and innovative dakwah methods. One of innovative dakwah methods is conducted dakwah activities through digital media,with the consequences of this is that da’i must developed soft skill and technological capabilities. Another beneficial comes from this is that dakwah could become more modern and practical in terms of methods and material. On the other hand, citizen Journalism as a mass cultural product and the results of technological development, gives an opportunity for da’i to able to record the entire activities, including the dynamics of islamic life. In terms of learning curriculum, dakwah in digital format must be included, so then the intellectual and cultural spirit which flourished in pesantren could be adapted and competed in a global world.

The complete translation of cultural heritage into a digital format acutely poses the question of art’s place in the digital era. The search for an answer is built upon the foundation of proposed evolutionary models of the genesis of art. Transitional periods from one historical cultural era to the next are characterized by a change in the most popular types of art. The establishment of one or another type of art is rigidly connected with the introduction of new data storage media and coding techniques. The constant increase in the variety of genres and media has culminated in the digital display. The appearance of a universal digital media must be reflected in the energetic reconstruction of the artistic world, but the birth of new types of art will lag behind. Moreover, the problem of the existence or non-existence of art also becomes relevant. In parallel with the elimination of literature, a virtual excarnation of object plasticity is occurring. It is possible that art is irreversibly forsaking sensual and bodily language, but the idea that it is using such an unexpected lexicon in an attempt to break through to the individual directly seems more productive. The purpose of art is to expand the space of consciousness. The digital age is distinguished by its possibility to transform this space in surprising ways. Digitalization of a work has a clear basic similarity to the physiological process of convolution of a sensory signal in the depths of the brain. Computer-based dipoles and neural synapses are binary structures, described in binary symbols. A work that has been translated into digits can be seen as the projection of a certain neural configuration that has come together in the depths of consciousness and is revealed in the form of an image. The likely prospects of obtaining, instead of projections, a multi-dimensional digital display, as well as the potential possibility for the psyche to adequately decipher it, portend a holistic reading of the work and even closer contact between the artist and the addressee. Right on the horizon is the path towards a synthesis of images that go beyond the limits of the usual forms and sensations. And nowadays unimaginable classes of feelings are capable of generating many vibrant “types and genres”. At the same time, threatening to the habitual methods of sensory perception and facilitating the liberation of the spirit, the excarnation of art works promise a categorically new stage in the genesis of art as well as a different level of creation and perception.

Abstract Social work, its fields of practice, institutions, professionals and client groups are affected by the digital transformations taking place across society in many ways. In different fields of practice, digitalisation opens up new potentials, but also poses challenges and problems. To date, theoretical approaches and ethical principles for social work, which should lay the foundations for professional concepts and action, have only marginally addressed the digital era. Robust theoretical and ethical foundations should make it possible to position social work in relation to accelerated technological development. In the following article, different theoretical approaches will be discussed in a comparative way and proposals for the theoretical understanding of digital transformation in social work will be made. Building on this, ethical substantiations for the integration of digital technologies into social work will be presented along the lines of Hans Jonas' theory of responsibility. Finally, conclusions for the innovation, implementation and use of digital media in social work will be discussed.

This thesis examines the major ethical issues experienced by UK sports journalists in the course of their practice in the modern digital media landscape, with a particular focus on selfcensorship. In tandem, it captures the lived professional experience of sports journalists in the digital era. My own professional experience is considered alongside the experiences of interviewees and diary-keepers. Initially, an exploratory case study of the work of investigative journalist David Walsh is used to highlight key ethical issues affecting sports journalism. A Kantian deontological theoretical perspective is articulated and developed. Qualitative approaches, specifically Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis and autoethnography, are then used to provide an original analysis of the research objectives, enhanced by philosophical analysis. Ten in-depth, semi-structured interviews are conducted with a homogeneous sample of UK sports journalists, while diaries kept by three different journalists provide another seam of data. Reflective logs of my own work as a sports journalist provide the basis for autoethnographic data. The main log runs for two-and-half years (2016- 19) with a separate additional log covering the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan. The semistructured interviews, diaries, autoethnography and case study are synthesized. The thesis explores how social media has introduced a host of ethical issues for sports journalists, not least the handling of abuse directed at them. Social media emerges as a double-edged sword. One of its most positive functions is to raise the standard of some journalists’ output due to the greater scrutiny that reporters feel they are under in the digital era, but at its worst it can be a platform for grotesque distortion and for corrupting sports journalists’ decision-making processes. Self-censorship of both facts and opinions emerges as a pervasive factor in sports journalism, a phenomenon that has been intensified by the advent of social media. Sports journalists show low engagement with codes of conduct, with the research suggesting that participants are on occasion more readily influenced by self-policing dynamics. This project captures vividly sports journalists’ personal involvement and emotional investment in their work, and reconsiders the ‘toy department’-versus-watchdog classification of sports journalists. The thesis concludes with recommendations for industry, including the introduction of formal support for sports journalists affected by online abuse.

Humans are social beings who need other individuals to group. In interacting with others, individuals will convey information and usually begin with an introduction relates to self disclosure, which is the type of individual communication disclosing information about himself is commonly concealed. Social media is a medium on the Internet that allows users to represent themselves, share, communicate with others and create virtual social ties. This research was intended to examine Instagram and Self Disclosure in an interpersonal communication perspective on the Santo Kristoforus II high school students to find out the activities of students on Instagram social media. Research based on Self-Disclosure theory, communication theory in the Digital Era, social media, and Instagram. Research uses a qualitative approach with case study methods. The results is that the self disclosure conducted by the informant is about daily activities, and the self disclosure is on Instagram involving several Self-Disclosure processes. In the process of Self-Disclosure, informants usually provide personal information such as feelings, thoughts and experiences, and they are also careful enough in uploading information to social mediaManusia disebut makhluk yang memerlukan seseorang untuk saling berhubungan timbal balik. Dalam berinteraksi dengan orang lain, individu akan menyampaikan berbagai informasi dan biasanya diawali dengan perkenalan mengenai dirinya, hal tersebut berkaitan dengan self disclosure, yakni jenis komunikasi individu mengungkapkan informasi tentang dirinya sendiri yang biasa disembunyikan. Media sosial saat ini digunakan penggunanya untuk berkomunikasi, membentuk relasi dengan orang lain secara virtual. Sehingga penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk meneliti Instagram dan Self Disclosure dalam Perspektif Komunikasi Antarpribadi terhadap Siswa-Siswi SMA Santo Kristoforus II untuk mengetahui aktivitas siswa-siswi di media sosial Instagram. Penelitian berlandaskan teori Self-Disclosure, Teori Komunikasi di Era Digital, Media Sosial, dan Instagram. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengungkapan diri yang dilakukan oleh informan berisi tentang aktivitas sehari-hari yang dilakukan, dan pengungkapan diri tersebut dilakukan dalam media sosial Instagram yang melibatkan beberapa proses pengungkapan diri. Dalam proses pengungkapan diri, informan biasanya memberikan informasi pribadi seperti perasaan, pikiran dan pengalaman. Dengan banyaknya informasi yang diberikan, tidak menutup kemungkinan mereka juga cukup berhati-hati dalam mengunggah informasi ke media sosial

One alternative to learning Arabic in the digital era is through online learning using digital technology. The process of learning Arabic in Indonesia has developed rapidly in recent times. The transition from face-to-face to online classes requires adjustments in the learning approach. This research used literature review method. Sources of data were books, articles, and other relevant sources. Data were analyzed through data collection procedures, data grouping, data display, and drawing conclusion. The validity of the data was tested through source and technical triangulation. The result of the study indicated that there are three appropriate approaches for learning Arabic online in this digital era, namely the contextual approach, constructivism approach, and behaviorism approach. The choice of approach should meet the students’ needs and learning conditions. Each approach could be implemented through a variety of methods and techniques. The integration of these three approaches in learning Arabic online provides broad opportunities for students to study independently and develop language skills aspects through various available digital media platforms.

This article addresses the impact of the digital era and it specifically refers to information and communication technologies (ICT) in Public Administration. It is based on the international approach and underscores the importance of incorporating new technologies established by the United Nations and the Organization of American States. Thereon, it highlights the Argentine Republic national approach towards ICT, and how it has moved towards a digital paradigm. It then emphasizes on the challenges and opportunities that emerge from the impact that artificial intelligence has in transforming Public Administration. Finally, it concludes that the key challenge of the Fourth Industrial Revolution is to achieve a boost towards a Digital and Intelligent Administration and government, which promotes the effectiveness of rights and an inclusive technological development that assures the digital dignity of people.

The development of advanced technology and faster, ease of accessing the virtual world leads to equal public access to information collected on the internet, one of which is a song, a recording of rhythmic sound that was originally shaped physics from the record vinyl then to become a tape cassette for radio tape and now evolved along with technology into digital media like DVD, Flash disk, and Hard disk. The Internet connects the global world to a single location. Based on this case KEMENKOMINFO (Ministry of Communication and Informatics) has attempted to enforce the closure of a number of sites that commit illegal acts such as uploading, downloading and reproduction of songs on the internet without the permission of the author and copyright holder. From the problematic law is written this thesis about copyright protection of songs on the internet, what the copyright standards of songs on the internet together with the form of copyright infringement of songs on the internet and recovery efforts.

Digital communication technologies are modifying how social movements communicate internally and externally and the way participants are organized and mobilized. This transformation calls for a rethinking of how we conceive of and analyze them. Scholars cannot be content with studying the digital and the physical or the online and the offline separately, but must explore the imbrication between these aspects by studying how the elements of social movements combine in a political “ensemble,” an ecosystem, or an action texture, defining the possibilities and limits of collective action. This chapter proposes a qualitative methodology combining analysis of digital media with observations of events and interviews with participants to develop a holistic account of collective action. This methodology is best positioned to capture the changing nature and meaning of protest action in a digital era, producing a “thick account” of the relationship between digital politics and everyday life.

Libraries are changing in every aspect to deal with the information dissemination process mainly pertaining to the form and format of “significant information,” which is the lifeblood of libraries. With copyrights restricting the uncontrolled and unbalanced use of information in the digital format, there is a need to understand that copyrights were brought to balance the synchronization of the creator, publisher, and the users at large. The chapter is an attempt to show the changing perspective of copyright in the digital era, its relevancy in the digital era, and how libraries can get the most out of the various exceptions and provisions provided for the libraries in copyright law, while at the same time striving to balance the copyright as well as solve various problems and issues cropping up from new digital perspectives.
