ABSTRAK Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya perbedaan kemampuan komunikasi matematis antara siswa yang diajar menggunakan pendekatan openended berbantuan wingeom dengan siswa yang diajar menggunakan pendekatan differentiated instruction berbantuan wingeom di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Tanjung Morawa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas VIII  yang berjumlah 9 kelas kemudian dilakukan pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling. Sampel yang diambil sebanyak 2 kelas yaitu kelas VIII-1 dan VIII-2 yang masing-masing berjumlah 36 siswa. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah pretest dan posttest yang berbentuk uraian soal. Pretest digunakan untuk mengetahui kemampuan awal siswa. Sedangkan posttest digunakan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa setelah diberikan perlakuan yang berbeda. Pengujian hipotesis yang digunakan adalah uji t 2 pihak dengan dk = 70 dan  = 0,05, maka diperoleh thitung = 2,407 dan ttabel = 1,994 sehingga thitung> ttabel yaitu 2,407 > 1,994  maka Ha diterima, dengan demikian diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang diajarkan dengan pendekatan pembelajaran Open Ended berbantuan wingeom dengan pendekatan pembelajaran Differentiated Instruction berbantuan wingeom.Kata Kunci : Open Ended, Differentiated Instruction, Komunikasi Matematis, Wingeom ABSTRACT The type of this research is quasi-experiment. This study aims to determine the differences in the ability of mathematical communication between students taught using the open ended approach wingeom assisted with students taught using a differentiated instruction approach wingeom assisted at grade VIII SMP Negeri 1 Tanjung Morawa. Population in this research is all class VIII  which amounts to 9 class then do sampling by using random sampling technique. Samples taken as many as 2 classes of classes VIII-1 and VIII-2, each of which amounted to 36 students. The instrument of data collection used is pretest and posttest which in the form of problem description. Pretest is used to determine students’ early skills. While posttest is used to know the  difference of students’ mathematical communication ability after given different treatment. The data analysis of experimental class by using t-test two tail with dk = 70 and significance level  = 0.05, it was obtained that tcalculation= 2,407 and ttable = 1,994so tcalculation>ttable then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The result showed that there is different in student’s mathematical communications skill with by using Open Ended scientific approach aided Wingeom and Differentiated Instruction scientific approach aided Wingeom.Keyword      : Open Ended, Differentiated Instruction, Mathematical Communications, Wingeom

Abstrac The purpose of this research was to know the difference between the use of cooperative learning methods consisting of the think talk write (TTW) method and the think pair share method (TPS) on mathematical communication ability in algebraic forms operating materials. The method used in this research was a quantitative research method using a comparative study approach. The sampling technique used in this study was Cluster Random Sampling. The population of this study consisted of all VII grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Ngabang in the 2019/2020 school year. The research sample was experimental class I namely class VII A using the TTW method and experimental class II namely class VII B using the TPR method. Data was collected using test and documentation. The data analysis technique used was the t-test. The results of this research showed  that the   of 2.049 was greater than the   of 1.995 at the significance level α = 0.05. This means that there were significant differences in the results of students' mathematical communication ability in the aspects of knowledge between the experimental class I compared to the experimental class II. This showed that the experimental class I who followed the learning by applying the Think Talk Write method has a different mathematical communication ability than the experimental class II who followed the learning by applying the Think Pair Share method.

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Talk Write (TTW) dan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share (TPS) di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Medan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Medan semester II  yang terdiri dari 10 kelas. Sampel dalam penelitian ini diambil dengan teknik sampling acak dan kemudian terpilih kelas VIII-C sebagai Kelas Think Talk Write (TTW) (kelas eksperimen I) dengan 40 siswa dan kelas VIII-E sebagai kelas Think Pair Share (TPS) (kelas eksperimen II) dengan 40 siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua buah instrumen yaitu pretest dan posttest dalam bentuk uraian. Instrumen tes tersebut divalidasi oleh tiga orang validator kompeten yang berasal dari dua validator merupakan dosen dan seorang guru matematika dan telah dinyatakan valid. Dari penelitian, data berdistribusi normal dengan uji Liliefors dan data dikatakan homogen dengan uji F. Analisis data menggunakan uji t dengan taraf signifikansi 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata posttest kelas TTW adalah 80,31 dan rata-rata posttest kelas TPS adalah 76,15. Dari hasil uji hipotesis posttest diperoleh t > t ( 1,9522 > 1,667). Karena t > t maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima.  Hal itu berarti kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Talk Write (TTW) lebih baik dibandingkan dengan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share  (TPS).Kata Kunci : Komunikasi Matematis, Think Talk Write, Think Pair Share ABSTRACTThis research is a quasi-experimental research which aims to know the comparison of student mathematical communication ability which is taught by the type cooperative learning models Think Talk Write (TTW) and type cooperative learning models Think Pair Share (TPS) in class VIII SMP Negeri 3 Medan. This study uses two instruments, namely pretest and posttest in narrative form. The test instrument must be validated by the three competent validator, there is two validators is lecturer and a math teacher and the instruments has been declared valid. From the research, the data distribution were normal distribution with test Liliefors, and the data is homogeneous with test F. Data analisys uses t test at 5 % significance level. The results showed the average of posttest grade of TTW is 80,31 and the average of posttest grade of TPS is 76,15. From the results of posttest hypothesis test obtained t > t ( 1,9522 > 1,667). Because t > t  then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The purpose of this research was to know there was any difference in student’s mathematical communication ability in cooperative learning Think TalkWrite (TTW) type and Numbered Head Together (NHT) type. The population was all students at SMP Negeri 1 Lubuk Pakam. The sample was two classes which each consist of 36 students, VII A as experimental class I which taught by TTW and VII B as experimental class II which taught by NHT. The sample was taken by cluster random sampling. Collecting data technique of this research was mathematical comunication ability essay test that was given in the end of learning either in experimental class I or experimental class II. From the data analysis of each of experimental class were obtained that the average of posttest score in TTW classroom was higher than in NHT classroom. It was also obtained that score of mathematical communication indicators in TTW classroom was higher than in NHT classroom. From the data analysis of posttest score by using t-test with significance level α = 0.05, it was obtained that tcount = 4.687 and ttable = 1.667. It means that tcount > ttable then H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. So, it can be concluded that there was difference of student’s mathematical communication ability who taught by cooperative learning model type TTW with NHT at SMP Negeri 1 Lubuk Pakam.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) terdapat perbedaan efektivitas dalam penggunaan  media pembelajaran dengan berbasis video dan tidak menggunakan media pada pembelajaran konvensional terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu dengan desain penelitian Control Group Pretest- Posttest. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SMPN 20 Batam kelas VIII tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik Cluster Random Sampling. Sampel penelitian kelas eksperimen VIII.4 dan sampel kelas kontrol VIII.2. Analisis data menggunakan rumus uji t dua sampel. Sebelum data dianalisis, data terlebih dahulu diuji prasyarat analisis yaitu uji normalitas dan homogenitas. Kemudian dilakukan uji hipotesis berdasarkan data tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) terdapat efektivitas antara pembelajaran dengan media pembelajaran berbasis video dengan pembelajaran konvensional yang ditinjau dari pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Kata Kunci : media video pembelajaran, metode konvensional, pemahaman konsep matematis Abstract:This research aims to know: (1) whether there are effectiveness and the difference between using video based learning media and not using media with conventional learning reviewed from student mathematical concepts understanding. The kinds of this research is Quasi Experiments research with Control Group Pretest Posttest research design. The population of this research are all student at SMPN 20 Batam in class VIII academic years 2016/2017. Taking sampling was done by Cluster Random Sampling technique. The research sample of experiment class is VIII.4 and sample of control class is VIII.2. The data was analyzed with using t test two sampling. Before the data was analyzed, the data was first tested on the pre requisite of analysis, there are normality test and homogeneity test. Then, conducted hypothesis test based on the data. The result of this research showed that: (1) there was the difference between video based learning media with conventional learning toward student mathematical concepts understanding. Key Words : VBL, conventional methods, mathematical concepts understanding.

Sebagai negara kepulauan yang tempat tinggal penduduknya tersebar di banyak pulau, keberadaan TIK untuk pendidikan mutlak diperlukan. Untuk kepentingan tersebut Pusat Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (Pustekkom) diberi amanah untuk mengelola dan mengkoordinasikan pemanfaatan TIK untuk pendidikan. Sejak tahun 2008 Pustekkom telah memberikan fasilitas TIK untuk pembelajaran yang berupa bandwidth gratis melalui Jejaring Pendidikan Nasional (jardiknas) kepada lebih dari 16.000 sekolah SD, SMP, SMA dan SMK di Indonesia, dan secara bertahap memberikan pelatihan bagi para guru di sekolah tersebut dalam memanfaatkan TIK untuk pembelajaran. Masalahnya “apakah fasilitas TIK dan pelatihan guru tersebut memberikan kontribusi terhadap peningkatan nilai UN SMP dan SMA khususnya di Propinsi Maluku. Untuk menjawab pertanyaan ini, dilakukan penelitian dengan cara membandingkan nilai UN pada pereode sebelum diberikan fasilitas TIK yaitu tahun 2005-2007 dengan pereode setelah diberikan fasilitas TIK, yakni tahun 2008-2011. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik proportional stratified random sampling. Perbedaan rerata dari hasil UN antara sebelum dengan sesudah diberikan fasilitas TIK diuji melalui Uji-t dengan menggunakan taraf signifikansi 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan nilai UN yang signifikan untuk seluruh mata pelajaran yang di UN-kan. Peningkatan nilai UN diduga karena pengaruh TIK dan pelatihan guru dalam pemanfaatan TIK untuk pembelajaran. Dari hasil penelitian ini disarankan agar pemerintah secara terus menerus meningkatkan pemberian layanan TIK ke sekolah-sekolah lainnya di Indonesia, sekaligus memberikan pelatihan pemanfaatan TIK untuk pembelajaran kepada guru-gurunya. As an archipelagic country, where people live in many islands, the presence of ICT for education is absolutely necessary. For this purposes, The state of Republic Indonesia through the Ministry of Education and Culture was given the mandate to The Center of ICT for Education (Pustekkom) to manage and coordinate the using of ICT for education. Due to, since 2008 Pustekkom has provided ICT facilities (in the form of free bandwidth) via the National Education Network (Jardiknas) program to more than 16,000 schools: Secondary School (SC), Senior High School (SHC) and Vocational School (VC) especially in Maluku Province , and gradually trained teachers in schools in the using of ICT for learning. The problem is “whether ICT facilities and teacher training contributed to an increase in the National Examination value of SC and SHC”. To answer this question, the research done by comparing the value on before being awarded the ICT facilities in the years of 2005-2007 period with after being given of the ICT facilities, the years of 2008-2011 period. Sampling was done using proportional stratified random sampling technique. The difference of between average the period tested by t-test using the significance level of 0.05. The results showed that there were significant increasing the value of the National Examination for all subjects tested. Increasing the value of National Examination allegedly under the influence of ICT facilities and teacher training in the using ICT forlearning. From the results of this study suggested that the government is continuously improving ICT services to all schoolin Indonesia and providing training to teachers on ICT for education/learning.

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji adanya pencapaian KKM dari kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa kelas VIII, dan menganalisis tingkat perkembangan kognitif dari kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa kelas VIII ditinjau dari Taksonomi SOLO. Penelitian ini campuran kuantitatif dan kualitatif dengan desain concurrent embedded dengan penelitian kualititatif sebagai metode primer (porsinya lebih besar). Populasi penelitian ini sebanyak 182 siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 10 Semarang. Melalui teknik random sampling diperoleh kelas VIII-E (sebanyak 30 siswa) sebagai kelas eksperimen. Instrumen penelitian meliputi soal tes tertulis, lembar pengamatan dan pertanyaan wawancara. Melalui teknik purpose sampling diperoleh perwakilan siswa tiap kelompok untuk diwawancari. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan rata-rata kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa kelas VIII mencapai KKM yang ditentukan, dan tingkatan perkembangan kognitif dari kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa kelas VIII ditinjau dari Taksonomi SOLO belum sepenuhnya mencapai perkembangan kognitif berpikir abstrak atau tingkat permikiran kualitatif sebagaimana diamanatkan dalam kurikulum 2013. Kata kunci: analisis, komunikasi matematis, taksonomi SOLO.   ABSTRACT This study aims to find out the attainment of the minimum mastery criteria of the mathematical communication skills of Grade VIII students, and analyze the level of cognitive development of the Mathematical communication skills of Grade VIII students in terms of SOLO Taxonomy. This research is a mixture of quantitative and qualitative concurrent embedded design. Where qualitative research as a primary method (the portion is bigger). The population of the study was 182 students of class VIII at SMP Negeri 10 Semarang. Through cluster random sampling techniques obtained class VIII-E (as many as 30 students) as an experimental class. Research instruments include written test questions, observation sheets and interview questions. Through the purpose sampling technique obtained by representatives of students from each group to be interviewed. The results of the study concluded the average mathematical communication skills of Grade VIII students reached the KKM, and the level of cognitive development of Grade VIII mathematical communication skills in terms of SOLO Taxonomy has not yet fully reached the cognitive development of abstract thinking or the level of qualitative thinking as recommended in the 2013 curriculum. This research aimed to examine the effect of VAK approach (Visualization, Auditory, Kinestetic) towards the result of learning physics of students at SMPN 10 Mataram in academic year 2013/2014. The kind of research used was experimental design with design of research was randomized posttest only control design. The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling. Population in this research was all the students from the eight grade at SMPN 10 Mataram, while the sample was 25 students of class VIII A as the experimental group and 27 students of class VIII B as the control group. The data obtained was analyzed by using t-test of two-tailed. t-count was 4.78 and t-table was 2.00 with significance level 0.05. Hence, t-table is smaller than t-count or t-count is bigger than t-table. It means that Null Hypothesis was rejected and Alternate Hypothesis was accepted. It means that the application of VAK Approach (Visualization, Auditory, Kinestetic) affects the results of learning physics of students.Keyword: VAK Approach

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) perbedaan pengaruh metode latihan drill umpan konstan dan metode latihan drill umpan berubah-ubah terhadap ketepatan pukulan drive tenis meja; (2) perbedaan ketepatan pukulan drive tenis meja antara atlet yang mempunyai waktu reaksi tinggi dan rendah; (3) pengaruh interaksi antara metode drill dan waktu reaksi terhadap ketepatan pukulan drive tenis meja. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan rancangan faktorial 2 x 2. Populasi peneliti-an ini adalah atlet pemula usia 8-12 tahun. Sampel penelitian ini 28 atlet yang diambil dengan teknik random sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Analisis Varian (ANAVA) dua jalur yang dilanjutkan dengan uji Tukey dengan taraf signifikan α = 0,05.Hasil penelitian adalah sebagai berikut. (1) Ada perbedaan pengaruh metode latihan drill umpan konstan dan metode drill umpan berubah-ubah terhadap ketepatan pukulan drive tenis meja atlet pemula Yogyakarta, dimana metode latihan drill umpan berubah-ubah lebih baik dari metode drill umpan konstan, terbukti dari nilai p = 0,048 <0,05. (2) Ada perbedaan ketepatan pukulan drive tenis meja atlet yang mempunyai waktu reaksi tinggi dan rendah pada atlet pemula tenis meja Yogyakarta, di mana atlet yang memiliki waktu reaksi tinggi lebih baik dari atlet yang memiliki waktu reaksi rendah, terbukti dari nilai p = 0,004 < 0,05. (3) Ada pengaruh interaksi antara metode latihan drill dan waktu reaksi terhadap ketepatan pukulan drive tenis meja atlet pemula Yogyakarta, terbukti dari nilai p = 0,016 < 0,05.   THE EFFECT OF DRILL PRACTICE METHOD AND REACTIONS TIME ON THE DRIVE ACCURACY IN TABLE TENNIS GAMES.   Abstract This study aimed to determine: (1) differences of the effect of training method with constant and various pass drill on the accuracy of stroke drive of table tennis; (2) the difference of the accuracy of stroke drives between table tennis athle tes who have high-and low reaction time; (3) the effect of the interaction between the drill method and reaction time on the accuracy of table tennis stroke drive. This is an experiment research with 2 x2 factorial designs. The populations of this research beginner athletes aged8 to 12 years old. The research samples were 28 beginner athletes taken by random sampling technique. Data analysis techniquesused was the two-ways Variant Analysis (ANAVA), continued by Tukey test with significance level α = 0.05.The results of the research are as follows.(1) There is different effect of practice method usingconstant pass drill and usingvarious pass drill on table tennis stroke drive accuracy of the beginner table tennis athlets of Yogyakarta. Various pass drill method is better than constant pass drill, it is indicated from the score p = 0,048 < 0,05. (2) There is difference of stroke drive accuracybetween athleteswho had high and low reaction time, atletes who had high reaction time were better than those who had low reaction time, it is indicated by score p = 0,004 < 0,05. (3) There is an interaction effect between practice method drill and reaction time on table tennis accuracy stroke drive of the beginners athletes of table tennis of Yogyakarta, it is proved from the score p = 0,016 < 0,05. Mathematics is the science that underlies the development of modern technology and has an important role in various disciplines. The development of science and technology in the current era of globalization uses a mathematical mindset. Therefore, mathematics is a subject that must be studied at each level of the education unit. This study aims to determine whether or not there is a significant influence on the use of SAVI learning models on the mathematical communication skills of students at MTs MA Cikaliung. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental method. Sampling was done by simple random sampling technique with a population of 89 students, and the sample used was 62 students from class VIII A as the experimental class and VIII B as the control class. The research instrument used in the form of a test essay (essay) is made based on indicators of mathematical communication skills. Based on data analysis using the t-test test method to test the proposed hypothesis, the results obtained with the value (tcount = 7.61 ttable = 1.67) at a significance level of 5%, then H0 is rejected and accept H1, so it can be concluded that there is Significant influence of the use of the SAVI learning model on mathematical communication skills of MTs MA students in Cikaliung.Keywords: Somatic, Auditory, Visualization, Intellectually, Mathematical Communication Skills.
