ABSTRACTThe objectives of this study are to describe the interaction between the results of teaching by audio visual and audio teaching media, and motivation towards the students’ listening. The research design was experimental research by using factorial design 2x2. There were 64 students from grade eighth in 2020/2021 academic year of SMP Al Washliyah 8 Medan as sample of this research. The students were divided into two groups. The first group was treated by using audio visual media and the second group was treated by using audio media. The motivation test was conducted for classifying the students upon the high and low motivation by using questionnaire. Students’ achievement in listening was measured by using multiple choice tests. The data were analyzed by applying Two-ways ANOVA, the results revealed that students’ listening achievement taught by using audio visual media significantly higher than that taught by using audio media and students’ listening achievement with high motivation was higher than students with low motivation. There was significant interaction between dual teaching media and motivation on the students’ listening achievement with Fobserved is lower than Ftable at the level significance α = 0.05 (Fobs = 1.76 < Ftab = 2.81) however, the value of significant level is α = 0.19 higher than 0.05. Thus, both teaching media and motivation significantly affect the students’ listening achievement.Keywords: Teaching Listening, Audio Visual Media, Audio Media, Motivation, Listening Achievement.

ABSTRACTThe objectives of this study were to explain whether : (1) the students’ achievement in listening comprehension taught by using video was significantly higher than that taught by audio (2) the students’ achievement taught to high motivation significantly was higher than that to students’ low motivation? (3) therewas any significant interaction among teaching media (video and audio) and motivation in listening comprehension achievement. The research design is experimental research by using factorial design 2x2. There were 72 students from MAS YMPI Kota Tanjungbalai as sample of this research. The students were divided into two groups. The first group was treated by using Audio and the second group was treated by using Video. Students’ achievement in listening comprehension was measured by using multiple choice tests. The data were analyzed by applying Two-Ways ANOVA. The result revealed that (1) students’ listening comprehension achievement taught by using video wassignificantly higher than that taught by using audio with Fobservedwas higher than that Ftable at level significance α = 0.05 (Fobserved = 155.7>Ftable = 3.98). (2) There was significant difference of students achievement in listening comprehension with high motivation was taught by using video was higher than that low motivation by using audio with Fobserved is higher than Ftable at the level significance α = 0.05 (Fobserved = 93.4>Ftable = 3.98). (3) There was significance interaction among media (audio and video) and students’ motivation on students’ achievement in listening comprehension with Fobservedwas lower than Ftable at level significance α = 0.05 (Fobserved = 1.2 <Ftable = 3.98). This study aims to determine: 1) the difference in the effect of visual learning media and audio-visual media on the ability to learn football. 2) the difference in influence between high and low motivation levels on learning outcomes of football. 3) the interaction between learning media and students' motivation on football learning outcomes. This study used an experimental method with a 2 x 2 factorial design. The study population consisted of 530 students and the sample used in this study was 44 people with purposive sampling technique, consisting of 22 high motivation students and 22 low motivation students. The results showed; 1) There is an Influence of Learning Media and Motivation on Learning Outcomes of Dribbling Passing in Football Games on Students The Effect Of Learning Media And Motivation On The Results Of Learning Dribbling Passing In Football Games In Students There are differences in influence between the use of visual media, evident from f count (4.915) smaller F table (4.085). 2) there is a difference in the effect of high motivation and low motivation on learning outcomes football. Evidenced by F count (141.360) smaller  from F table (4.085) and (3) There is an interaction between learning media and student learning motivation on learning outcomes, as evidenced by the F count (6,433)  smaller F tabel (4.085).

The purpose of this study is to determine: 1) the difference of the effect in using the learning media Audio visual on the result learning on football. 2) The difference of the effects between high motivation and low motivation on the result learning on football. 3). The interaction between learning media and students’ motivation on the learning result of football. This study uses experiment method with a factorial design 2x2. Population of the research was 530 students second, and samples used in this study around 44 students by using purposive sampling, consist 22 students has high motivation and 22 students has low motivation. The results showed. 1) There were the differences between the use visual media with the proof that f – test (4.915)>f table (4.085). 2). the difference between the effect of high motivation and low motivation on learning result in football with the proof F-test (141.360)> from F table (4.085) and 3). there was an interaction between learning media and motivation on learning result on football with the proof F test (6,433) > F table (4.085).

This study aims to reveal the influence of the use of Media Audio and Motivation Learning students to the Indonesian student learning outcomes through four formulation of the problem: (1) whether there is any influence student learning outcomes using audio media than the conventional way students learn?, (2) whether the student that have a high motivation using audio media to obtain higher learning outcomes than students to have high motivation to study by conventional means?, (3) whether students who have low motivation to learn by using audio media to obtain higher learning outcomes than students have low motivation to learn with the conventional way?, and (4) whether there is interaction between the use of audio media and students' motivation towards learning Indonesian? This research is a quasi experimental by treatment block. This research was conducted at SDN 001 Rumbai Pekanbaru semester odd years 2010/2011. Samples were taken with Porposive random sampling technique. Data were collected through the initial test and final test. Data were analyzed using t test and analysis of variance.The results of data analysis showed that: Students who studied on the basis of audio media to obtain higher learning outcomes than students who learn by conventional means. Students who have high motivation to learn with audio media to obtain higher learning outcomes than students who have high motivation to study by conventional means. Students who have low motivation to learn based on audio media to obtain higher learning outcomes than students who have low motivation to study by conventional means. There was no interaction between the audio media and students' motivation. It can be concluded that the audio media significantly influence student learning outcomes.

The aim of this study is to discover the effect of applying SQ3R method inreading comprehension. Experimental research design is used as the research method.This research took place at SMA Nasrani 2Medan. There were 2 classes chosen as thesample with 30 students in each class. The classes were divided into two groups namelyexperimental and control group. The experimental group was taught by using SQ3Rmethod and the control group was taught by using conventional method. The instrumentused to collect the data was a set of multiple choice tests, which divided as pre test andpost test. The result of the research was analyzed by using t-test formula. The resultshowed that t-test was higher than t-table (4,23>2,00) at the level of significant 0,05with degree of freedom (df) 58. It means that hypothesis alternative (Ha) is acceptedwhich shows that SQ3R method significantly improves the student’s readingcomprehension.

This action research aims: (1) to improve the science learning outcomes of VIIA class students in the even semester of SMP Negeri 1 Manggis in the academic year 2017/2018 by applying the learning investigation (GI) learning model assisted by learning videos. This type of research is classroom action research. The subjects of this study were 30 students in class VIIA, and the object of this study was the science learning outcomes. This action research is planned to be carried out in two cycles. Learning outcomes data were collected using multiple choice tests. Data were analyzed by descriptive analysis. The results showed that: (1) The natural science learning outcomes of the VIIA class in the second semester increased in the first cycle by an average of 70, 70% absorption, with a 50% grade completeness, and an average cycle II of 77, 77 absorption %, with 86.6% class completeness. With the achievement of an average of 77 Natural Science learning outcomes, it means that it is above the established success level of 70, so that the action is considered successful. Thus it can be said that the application of the learning investigation (GI) group learning model assisted by learning videos can improve the learning outcomes of natural science students in class VIIA an even number at SMPN 1 Manggis in the academic year 2017/2018.

Mastery of physics concepts of students including low category and application of learning model has not varied, still refers to the old paradigm such as teaching by lecture method. This study aims to determine the application of STAD model (Student Teams Achievement Division) to improve student learning outcomes of grade X MA Zainul Musthafa NW Pengadang academic year 2012/2013. This research is a classroom action research conducted in 2 cycles consisting of planning, implementation, observation, evaluation and reflection. The first cycle consists of three sessions and the second cycle is two sessions. Data on student learning outcomes is obtained from multiple choice tests at the end of the cycle. The results showed that the completeness of classical learning in the first cycle was 64.00% and 91.67% for the second cycle. We conclude that the application of the STAD model has a positive impact on student learning outcomes.

This study aimed to find out whether using Fishbowl Strategy effects students’ reading skill of the 2019/2020 eleventh grade students At Muhammadiyah 18 Sunggal Senior High School. In this study, the writer used Fishbowl Strategy as the independent variable (X) and students’ reading skill as the dependent variable (Y), with the hypothesis: using Fishbowl Strategy significantly affects students’ reading skill of the 2019/2020 eleventh grade students of Muhammadiyah 18 Sunggal Senior High School. The population of this study was the 2019/2020 eleventh grade students of Muhammadiyah 18 Sunggal Senior High School which consisted of 76 students. The sample was taken by using cluster random sampling that consists of 76 students. Then, the sample was divided into two groups, the group taught by using Fishbowl Strategy was as the experimental group and the group taught without Fishbowl Strategy was as the control group. The writer used multiple choice tests as the instrument of collecting data. The data was analyzed by using t-test formula. Based on the data analysis, it was found that the value of t-observed (t0) was higher than the value of t-table, (tobserved = 4.75 > ttable = 1.666). Therefore, the hypothesis proposed by the writer was accepted. In the other words, using Fishbowl Strategy significantly affects the students’ reading skill of the 2019/2020 eleventh grade students At Muhammadiyah 18 Sunggal Senior High School.

The aim of this study is to discover the effect of applying SQ3R method in reading comprehension. Experimental research design is used as the research method. This research took place at MTS AMIN DARUSSALAM MEDAN. There were 2 classes chosen as the sample with 32 students in each class. The classes were divided into two groups namely experimental and control group. The experimental group taught by using SQ3R method and the control group was taught by using conventional method. The instrument used to collect the data was a set of multiple choice tests, which divided as pre test and post test. The result of the research was analyzed by using t-test formula. The result showed that t-test was higher than t-table ( 3,93> 2,00 ) at the level of significant 0,05 with degree of freedom (df) 60. It means that hypothesis alternative (Ha) is accepted which shows that SQ3R method significantly improves the student’s reading comprehension.

The research was conducted at the first grade of English Teaching Department Madiun in the academic year of 2012/2013. The research method was quasi experimental research. The population in this research was the first grade students of English Teaching Department of IKIP PGRI Madiun. The writer used cluster random sampling to get the sample. The sample consists of 70  students which are divided into two classes, IA consisting 35 students as a control class and IB consisting 35 students as an experimental class. The instruments used to collect the data were reading test to get the score of reading skill and questionnaire to get the score of students’  motivation. Before the instruments were used, the tryout was done to know the validity and reliability of instruments. The writer analyzed the data  in  term  of  their  frequency  distribution,  normality,  and  homogeneity.  Then,  the  data  were analyzed by using multifactoral analysis 2X2, then followed by Tukey test. The findings in this research lead to some conclusions: (1) MURDER is more effective than DM for teaching reading; (2) The  students  having  high  motivation  have  better  reading  skill  than  the  students  having  low motivation; and (3) There is an interaction between teaching methods and students’ motivation for teaching reading. MURDER is suitable for students having high motivation and DM is suitable for students having low motivation.
