This study aims to find out that the implementation of the schema learning model in Indonesian lessons can improve reading comprehension skills for grade VIII Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Binjai students in the Odd Semesters of the 2019/2020 Academic Year. The results showed that the schema learning model in Indonesian lessons could improve reading comprehension skills of the VIII grade students of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Binjai in the Odd Semesters of the 2019/2020 Academic Year. This can be seen from the results of the calculation in the first cycle between the value of the first daily test and the score of the second daily test, the Product Moment value is 0.823 with a t-test of 8.198. And the second cycle between the second block test scores and the third daily test scores obtained a Product Moment value of 0.903 with a t-test value of 11.902, while the results of the calculation showed that it was greater than the results in the table, of 0.478 and 2.725. Likewise, the average score for the first daily exam was 86.35, and the second daily exam was 87.53 in the first cycle, as well as the average score for the third daily exam was 88.53 and the fourth daily exam was 90.71 in the second cycle. there is an increase. while the minimum completeness criteria value (KKM is 84). The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the reading comprehension skills of the descriptive text and the writing skills of the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Bonjol. This research used quantitative research using a descriptive correlational design. In this study, there were two variables, namely the X variable and the Y variable. The X variable was the reading comprehension skill, while the Y variable was the description text writing skill. The research instruments were objective tests and performance tests. The data of this study are the results of the reading comprehension skills test and the results of the descriptive text writing skills test. The test results were compared using the t-test formula to determine the correlation between the reading comprehension skills and the descriptive text writing skills of the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Bonjol. There are three results in this study. First, the reading skills of grade VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Bonjol are in good qualifications with an average score of 81.65. Second, the writing skills of the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Bonjol are in good qualifications with an average score of 78.58. Third, based on the results of the t-test, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between comprehension reading skills and the descriptive text writing skills of seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Bonjol.

<em>The purpose of this study’s to improve children's story reading comprehension skills by applying the think pair share learning model. CAR takes place in two cycles, each cycle consists of 2 meetings and 4 stages. The subjects of this study are classroom teachers and students of grade V SD Negeri Karangasem 4 No.204 Surakarta 2017/2018 academic year. Data analysis technique used is interactive analysis model from Miles&amp;Hubberman. Technique of validity test in this research use triangulation technique and triangulation of source. The conclusion of this research that is model of think pair share can impove reading comprehension skill of child story</em><em>. </em>

<p class="Abstract"><em>The purpose of this study is to improve reading comprehension skills with the Connecting Organizing Reflecting Extending (CORE) learning model</em><em>. </em><em>This type of research was classroom action research. This research carried out for two-cycle with each cycle consisting of four activities that are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The techniques used to collect data in this study include observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. The data validity techniques used were instrument content validity, source triangulation, and technique triangulation. Data analysis in this study uses comparative descriptive analysis techniques and interactive data analysis.</em><em> </em><em>The results of research that have been carried out at the pre-action stage, the class average is 45.69 with classical completeness is 14.29%. The class average increased in the cycle I with an average grade is 68.25 and classical completeness 57.14%, then increased again in cycle II with an average class 79.30 and classical completeness 85.71%. Based on the research results, it can be seen that the application of the Connecting Organizing Reflecting Extending (CORE) learning model can improve reading comprehension skills on the fourth-grade students of the elementary school of Banyurip academic year 2018/2019.</em></p>

The purpose of this research is to determine students' reading comprehension skills before and after using the PQ4R learning model. This research was motivated by preliminary studies, which showed that students' reading comprehension skills are still low in conventional learning models. This is a quantitative research consisting of a one-group pretest-posttest research design. Data were obtained from 22 students of state elementary school 03 Sontas using a written test of 6 (six) questions. The research showed differences in students' reading comprehension skills before and after learning using the PQ4R model.

Thepurpose of this study was to determine the Application of Cooperative Snowball Throwing Learning Model in Thematic Learning Class 1 at MIN 3 Banyumas Academic Year 2019-2020. The type of research data used in this study is a quantitative-qualitative approach (mexing method). The subjects of this study were class I MIN 3 Banyumas Lessons in 2019-2020 totaling 33 students. The techniques used in data collection are interview, documentation, observation and test techniques. The results showed that the application of the Cooperative Snowball Throwing Learning Model could improve the thematic learning outcomes at MIN 3 Banyumas in 2019-2020. This can be proven by the learning outcomes for each cycle. In cycle I, the average score of student learning test results was 67.73, the lowest score was 45.00 and the highest score was 90.00. This is known by comparing the pre-cycle value with the value of Cycle I, the test results where the value of Cycle I is greater than the pre-cycle of the average value, namely: 67.73> 55.30. Whereas in the second cycle, the average test score was 75.91, while the lowest score was 55.00 and the highest score was 95.00. this can be known by comparing the value of the first cycle with the second cycle, the test results in which the value of the second cycle test is greater than the first cycle with an average value of 75.91> 67.73. And in the third cycle it can be seen that the average value of the test results is 83.79, while the lowest value is 65.00 and the highest value is 100.00.

This study aims to know the improvement of mathematics learning outcomes by applying the concrete media-based inquiry learning model in the third grade students of SD N 4 Kaliuntu in the academic year 2017/2018. This type of research was Classroom Action Research (PTK) which was implemented in two cycles. The subjects of this study were 39 students in the third grade of SD N 4 Kaliuntu in the academic year of 2017/2018. The objects of this research were the concrete media-based inquiry learning model and the learning result of Mathematics. The data in this study were collected by the test method. Data were analyzed by quantitative and qualitative analysis method. The results showed that there was an increase on the students' mathematics learning outcomes. Based on the observation result, the average value of teacher activity was 23 with good category and the average score of student activity was 51 with enough category in cycle I and there was improvement in cycle II with the average of teacher activity iof 27,5 with very category good and average student activity score of 78,5 with very good category. In addition, based on data analysis, the average percentage of students' learning achievement in cycle I was 66,67% (medium category), increasing to 85% (high category) in cycle II. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the implementation of inquiry learning model in concrete media can improve the learning outcomes of Mathematics students of third grade in SD N 4 Kaliuntu in the academic year of 2017/2018.

This study aimed to determine the significant effect of reading comprehension skills between groups of students who are taught by using learning strategies of Directed Reading Thinking Activity (DRTA) with flip chart and group of students who are not learned by using learning strategy of Directed Reading Thinking Activity (DRTA) with flip charts on on fifth graders of Tejakula district primary schools  cluster IV academic year 2017/2018. This research is quasi experiment, with non-equivalent research design post-test only control group design. The sample of the study was 41 students, consisting of  21 students of grade V SD N 3 Bondalem as experimental group and 20 students of grade V SD N 4 Bondalem as the control group. Sample selection using random sampling technique. Skill reading comprehension data is collected with multiple choice test instruments. Data analysis used descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis (t-test). The results showed that thitung> ttable (tcv = 16,559 > tobs = 2,042). Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference of reading comprehension skills of students who are taught by using learning strategy of Directed Reading Thinking Activity (DRTA) with  flip chart and students who are not learned by using learning strategy of Directed Reading Thinking Activity (DRTA) chart on on fifth graders of Tejakula district primary schools  cluster IV academic year 2017/2018.


The current study aimed at investigating the effect of KWL and SQ3R strategies on Palestinian eighth graders' reading comprehension skills. To achieve the study goals, the researcher adopted the experimental approach on a sample of (119) female students from Al-Kuwait Secondary School at Rafah governorate for the academic year 2019-2020. The participants were divided into three equivalent groups. The researcher used a pre and post reading comprehension test to achieve the aims of the study. Results revealed there are statistically significant differences at (α ≤ 0.01) in the total average score of the post-test between the first experimental group and the control group in favor of the first experimental group that learns by KWL strategy. Additionally, the study results showed that there are statistically significant differences at (α ≤ 0.01) in the total average score of the post-test between the second experimental group and the control group in favor of the second experimental group that learns by SQ3R strategy. Also, the study results revealed that there are statistically significant differences at (α ≤ 0.01) in the total average score of the post-test between the first and second experimental groups in favor of the first experimental group. In the light of these results, the researcher introduced some recommendations such as designing some training courses for teachers to encourage them to use these strategies.

The Use of Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) Method to Enhance Arabic Reading Comprehension Skills for Students of VIII Aisyah Class in Even Semester at Darul Fattah Quran Junior High School of Bandar Lampung in the 2019/2020 Academic Year   ABSTRACT Regarding the development of education that continues to change and for the sake of developing education quality, one of the elements that must be considered in the educational curriculum is a foreign language. In Indonesia, Arabic is a foreign language; in keeping with the need, the Arabic language is taught more seriously alongside knowledge teaching. Nevertheless, learning a foreign language (Arabic) is not as easy as learning the mother tongue. Some obstructions must be coped with, such as ashwat science, grammar, and vocabulary. In addition, difficulties also come from students or teachers themselves, learning methods, materials, and teaching facilities. Therefore, the author examines students' reading comprehension skills with the research title “The Use of Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) Method to Enhance Arabic Reading Comprehension Skills for Students of VIII Aisyah Class in Even Semester at Darul Fattah Quran Junior High School of Bandar Lampung in the 2019/2020 Academic Year” The type of research employed was Classroom Action Research (CAR). This research was carried out at Darul Fattah Quran Junior High School, Bandar Lampung, in Arabic class VIII subjects in the even semester of the 2019/2020 academic year. The study results revealed that using the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) method could enhance students' Arabic reading comprehension skills as evidenced by the mean value obtained in the first cycle of 76.82, categorized as adequate. However, it experienced a slight decrease of 0.30 points, equivalent to 0.39% in the second cycle, to 76.52 categorized as adequate. After that, cycle III underwent a relatively good increase of 4.95 points or equivalent to 6.47% to 81.47, with a sufficient category.   Keywords: CIRC, Reading Comprehension Skill
