The purpose of the research is to analyze the state of gender equality in the labor sphere. The research methods are as follows: system and logical analysis, comparative analysis, generalization and systematization and a number of others. An analysis of current issues in the labor market in the gender dimension has been conducted. In gender relations, a very important problem has not been resolved yet: a significant difference in the average wage of men and women. The Women in Work Index has shown that Iceland and Sweden remain in the top two in terms of the gender gap in OECD member countries, while Slovenia ranks the third place. The Women Business and the Law Index for 2000-2019 among 190 countries in the world, covering eight indicators related to women’s economic participation, has been analyzed. The employment rate of women and men in recent decades has shown that the share of women in labor markets is increasing worldwide.

The article describes the situation of gender equality in Ukraine and in the world during the last 5 years, identifies the leading countries in moving towards gender equality in various fields of life by analyzing the indicators of the Global Gender Gap Report of the World Economic Forum. These indicators include: Economic Participation and Opportunity, Educational Attainment, Health and Survival, Political Empowerment, which are the part of a single index that determines the position of countries in the overall ranking. Based on the results of this analysis, Ukraine has improved value of gender equality index, although in the overall ranking of countries Ukraine has lost its position and dropped 11 ranks lower than in 2014. This means that, among all the countries surveyed by the World Economic Forum, there are countries that are moving much faster towards gender equality than Ukraine. In addition, the article includes the investigation of the gender representation among the board members of 5 enterprises of Ukraine for 2014-2017, which represent the leading sectors of the Ukrainian economy. The dynamics of changes in the level of performance of these enterprises using the return on assets (ROA) indicator is analyzed, the relationship between the leadership of the enterprises and the value of the ROA indicator is graphically presented. The obtained results do not give a clear answer about the gender impact on the enterprise performance. The reason for this is a number of factors, such as: insufficient statistical sampling of enterprises; the selected performance indicator of enterprise activities does not fully reflect the impact of the gender factor on enterprise activities; the methodology used in the work needs improvements, or it is necessary to choose a totally new approach to the analysis of the investigated issue under study. Gender representation among board members and its impact on enterprise performance should be investigated further. Key words: gender, gender equality, enterprise board members, return on assets.

ABSTRACT The WHO survey results show that the number of DM patients in Indonesia is ranked the 4th largest in the world. DM causes death by 5% every year. Deaths from DM are expected to increase by 50% in the next ten years. The results of the 2007 Central Java RISKESDAS showed that the prevalence of DM in Central Java province was 0.8% and overall was 1.3%. The highest prevalence is found in Cilacap Regency (3.9%), second place is Tegal City Regency (3.1%), for the third place is Surakarta (2.8%), fourth place is Pemalang (2.1%), and fifth place is occupied by Banyumas (1.9%) (Ministry of Health, 2009). This study used an experimental design by treating the group of cases. The research instruments in this study were interview guides about the number of remaining antidiabetic drugs to check the compliance and MMAS questionnaires that had been validated and translated into Indonesian versions (Setyaningsih, 2013). The results of data analysis using the Chi-Square test were obtained p = 0.220 (p> 0.05) based on the MMAS questionnaire, this indicates that this indicates that this study of age has a significant influence on the adherence of antidiabetic use in DM patients in Perum Ketapang Sokaraja Kulon.   Keywords: Age, Diabetes Mellitus, Drug Information

Abstract This chapter explores barriers to women's land ownership. It investigates the potential factors behind why women's rights to own land are often ignored despite laws permitting women to own and inherit land. Measures of gender equality are correlated, as presented in the World Economic Forum Global Gender Gap Index 2020 (economic participation and equality, educational attainment, health and survival, and political empowerment) to percentages of land held by women in a nation. Commonalities between case studies on women's land ownership around the world are discussed as well.

The aim of the study was to assess the efficiencies of players in 1-on-1 situations in terms of their position on the pitch and the match time during the final matches of the World Cup and European Championships from 1990 to 2014. The research was conducted on a sample of 1012 football players whose teams competed in the semi-finals, finals and the third place matches during the Football World Cup and European Championships from 1990 to 2014. The study included the performances of 506 players in 1-on-1 situations during 46 matches that were terminated at the regulation 90 min. The study revealed that during an average match, the players performed 231 times in 1-on-1 situations with 51% accuracy. The level of accuracy in 1-on-1 situations was significantly higher (p ≤ 0.05) in winning teams than in losing teams particularly at the beginning of the game and in the middle zone of the pitch. Moreover, the results of our study showed that the highest effectiveness of the duels was noted in the defence zone and was decreasing along with moving the actions closer to the opponent’s goal. The players competed with similar frequencies on both defence (114 duels on average with 51% accuracy) and attack (113 duels on average with 52% accuracy). The players of the elite football teams exhibited high performance efficiencies in the 1-on-1 duels, especially on their own half of the field and during the early stages of both halves of the match. The accuracy of duels of their performances decreased when the action moved closer to the opponent’s goal and with the time in the game.

According to the latest Global Gender Gap Report (WEF 2011), Denmark ranks as number 7 out of 135 countries, meaning that the country is among the most successful in the world when it comes to gender equality. Much research also points to how this is a dominant understanding within Danish political and media discourse, which in contrast tend to cast immigrant women as gender unequal. The article asks: how might immigrant women living in Denmark challenge the dominant understandings of gender (in)equality? Interviews with 34 leaders of various immigrant women’s organisations demonstrate that the dominant discourse tends to predefine majoritized as well as minoritized positions, which some of the women actively challenge while others do not. Adding their voices to the debate accentuates the predominance of the discourse, as well as the difference between equality of opportunity and equality of outcome.

The article tells about the life and professional activities of the famous Slavist A.D. Dulichenko. Focusing on his interest in the study of micro-languages, the author emphasizes the influence of the national tradition on the formation of an approach to the study of linguistic rarities. In the overview of Professor Dulichenko’s main achievements in Russian studies, the author emphasizes his contribution to the world Slavic studies and the study of the languages of Slavia in the cultural space of traditions and times. Evaluating Dulichenko’s research in terms of the Humanities in the 21st century, the author draws attention to the multidimensional nature of his research method as well as polyglotticism, and deep knowledge of regional characteristics of microlanguages. Drawing on numerous books by Dulichenko, namely Introduction to Slavic Philology, which was the first to include detailed information about the Rusin and other minor languages and make it part of the syllabus for Philology in Russia, the author concludes that it is necessary to revise the traditional understanding of this discipline in higher education. The author pays special attention to the Compendium- Reader on Slavic Microlanguages – documentary evidence of the diversity of Slavia in its written traditions and oral forms of expression. Analyzing the structure of the book and highlighting its conceptual provisions, the author actualizes Dulichenko’s ideas about the status of literary microlanguages and their place in the classification of Slavic languages.

At present, the competitive advantages of Yen over Yuan still remain in the financial architecture of Asia, although the interdependence between the currency of Japan and other Asian currencies decreases. Regarding the scale of operations, Yen takes the third place on the world currency market after Dollar and Euro. In 2010, its share almost reached 19%, while only 0.9% is accounted for Yuan. At the same time, the enhancement of China's role on the global financial market, the remarkable share growth of China's foreign trade in Yuans, the activаtion of economic integration processes in Asia essentially increase the opportunities of the major currencies use diversification in the region.
