Racism is used to define people based on perceptions of physical differences that imply genetic differences. Racism has become a social and cultural fact and this can be used to justify policies and discrimination and affect the lives of both the majority and minority races. This study uses Charles's theory, where this theory is famous for its triangles of meaning, namely signs, objects and interpretan to study the film "8 Mile". This research uses qualitative research methods and uses Charles Sanders Peirce's semiotic analysis. Propaganda has the meaning of a doctrine or act of a person or group of people spread through words, sounds, advertisements, commercials, music, pictures, and other symbols. Propaganda and Racism can be explained in the film "8 Mile". There are 24 scenes that can explain the author felt the existence of a strong racism and films that made Western propaganda for the world. Rasisme digunakan untuk mendefinisikan orang berdasarkan persepsi perbedaan fisik yang menyiratkan perbedaan genetik. Rasisme telah menjadi fakta sosial dan budaya dan hal ini dapat digunakan untuk membenarkan kebijakan dan diskriminasi dan mempengaruhi kehidupan, baik ras mayoritas maupun ras minoritas. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori Charles, di mana teori ini terkenal dengan segitiga maknanya yaitu atas tanda (sign), objek(object), dan intrepretan (interpretant) untuk mengkaji film “8 Mile”. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dan menggunakan analisis semiotika Charles Sanders Peirce. Propaganda memiliki arti suatu doktrin atau tindakan seseorang atau sekelompok orang yang disebarkan melalui kata-kata, suara, iklan, komersial, music, gambar, dan simbol-simbol lainnya. Dalam Propaganda dan Rasisme dapat dijelaskan dalam film “8 Mile”. Terdapat 24 adegan yang dapat menjelaskan penulis merasakan adanya Rasisme yang kuat dan film yang dijadikan propaganda orang barat untuk dunia.

This research discusses the popularity of Faerlina US which is one of the game server of the game World of Warcraft Classic (WoW Classic), a MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) game version which is one of the World of Warcraft game version released on 26 August 2019. This study uses several qualitative research methods, namely participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and studies of previous studies. The results of this study indicate that the popularity of Faerlina US tends to be driven by the popularity of twitch.tv streamers who play on these servers. This research also shows that Faerlina has also become popular because it is interesting to be a place to conduct economic activities such as selling virtual items and conducting gold-virtual currency transactions into real money.

Metrosexual men are men who take care of themselves and care about their appearance, at this time this is a natural thing and there are many beauty products specifically for men to maintain their appearance. At this time, the writer examines this through music videos, with the aim of seeing how the metrosexual male representations that occur in the Seventeen music video entitled 'Thank you'. To be able to do this analysis, the writer conducted research by analyzing the clips in the music video, therefore in this study the writer chose to use qualitative research methods. This research technique uses Roland Barthes' semiotic analysis theory which sees signs as denotations and connotations. With data techniques using observation techniques. The observation technique referred to by the author is to make observations made by the author of the Seventeen music video entitled "Thank you". The author watches in detail to capture events or signs related to the topic analysis. From the observations made by the author, the narrative of events and clear scene snippets of the representation of metrosexual men as seen from the clothes, make-up, accessories, and hair used in the music video are supported by gender theory derived from Roland Barthes' semiotic analysis. the research conducted gets credible results from the authors.Pria Metroseksual adalah pria yang pria yang merawat diri dan peduli dengan penampilannya, pada saat ini hal tersebut merupakan hal yang wajar dan sudah banyak prisuk kecantikan yang di khusus kan untuk para pria untuk menjaga penampilan mereka. Pada kali ini penulis meneliti hal tersebut melalui musik video, dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana representasi pria metroseksual terjadi di dalam musik video Seventeen yang berjudul ‘Thanks’. Untuk dapat melakukan analisis tersebut penulis melakukan penelitian dengan menganalisa cuplikan-cuplikan yang ada di dalam musik video terebut, oleh karena itu dalam penelitian ini penulis memilih menggunakan metode penelitian kuaitatif. Teknik penelitian ini menggunakan teori analisis semiotika Roland Barthes yang melihat tanda sebagai denotasi dan konotasi. Dengan teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan teknik observasi. Teknik observasi yang dimaksud dengan penulis adalah dengan melakukan kegiatan pengamatan yang dilakukan penulis terhadap musik video Seventeen yang berjudul “Thanks”. Penulis menyaksikan secara detail untuk menangkap peristiwa atau tanda yang terkait dengan topik analisis. Dari hasil pengamatan yang penulis lakukan,narasi peristiwa dan cuplikan adegan memperlihatkan jelas mengenai unsur representasi pria metroseksual yang terlihat dari pakian, riasan, aksesoris, dan tatadan rambut yang digunakan dalam musik video tersebut yang didukung oleh teori gender yang dikaitkan dengan karakteristik dari analisis semiotika Roland Barthes, sehingga penelitian yang dilakukan memperoleh hasil yang memperkuat hipotesis dari penulis.

The author begins with a lyrical and evocative description of a cilantro-green fire escape from which he observed the neighborhood of his childhood, explaining that the work of the ethnographer is rooted in experiences of observation and experience. Drawing upon these tools of social interaction, training in qualitative research methods can help students to discover and reframe their already practiced skills in the social observation and interpretation with which they, and all of us, traverse the world. The embodied and reflexive nature of this practice is emphasized, with attention to the observer’s own social positionality and identity. Citing William Stringfellow’s proposal that “listening…is a primitive act of love,” the author proposes that qualitative research and narrative medicine both offer frameworks for such listening, with implications of political and social liberation.

New Perspective

A law with a concept on the omnibus law in the world of law in the State of Indonesia is a new perspective in the field of law. The point in omnibus law is different from the meaning, nature, and concept of legal norms in existing laws. We can also interpret this concept as a way of settling the forms of regulation in legislation into law and which in the end have consequences for revoking some invalid regulations. With the use of a new perspective like this, of course, people's thinking is also increasingly modern, including following the flow of globalization. In this era of globalization, there are certainly many incidents in the spread of hoax news. This problem is carried out by qualitative research methods and using several theories. The subject matter to be discussed can also be found in the conclusion that the perspective used by the drafters of the law is increasingly modern which will also provide the potential for the spread of hoaxes from people who follow the flow of globalization. Therefore, if the government and the DPR enforce themselves in making laws with the concept of the omnibus law, then the formation process needs to follow the method of prolegnas, has a good academic script, and is not in a hurry by involving stakeholders and the community.

In this era of globalization, technology media has become an important role that can be used in the world of education. Especially vlog can be used as content to explore creative potential for everyone to augment speaking skills. Vlog defines as the documentation using video component as a medium media to record that they want to talk about it. The purpose of this research article of the innovation in learning through vlog is to augment students’ confidence speaking skill in their classroom. The data of this research used case study in the form of descriptive analysis using qualitative research methods. Data collection techniques were collected by observation of eight grader graduate in SMP Darul Ulum Depok. The results of this research revealed that after the students conducted the vlog, the students successfully in the criteria points for improving speaking skill and they more enjoy in speaking performance. Besides, the use innovation through vlog can enhanced students’ fluency, pronunciation, vocabulary, and good performance.

With all the potential capital God gave, it is believed that man will be able to carry out his duties well. Then it is normal for God to place man as ' masterpiece ' of His own universe.     In Shari'ah there is always a balance between the vertical and horizontal dimensions, the ideal and the realistic side, the constant doctrine (the Sabbath) and the Elastic (Murunah), the interests of the world and the Hereafter, the aspect of birth and the inner, interest of individuals and society, and Etc. The principle of benefit is no less important than the principle of balance. This remembers that it was the cause of the point-of-decline, the takeoff and the final goal in the formulation of a law (Maqashid Syari'ah). This research uses qualitative research methods by examining the Library Research related to the opinions of scholars ' followers of Imam Shafi'i on gender issues. Conclusion of the study: women have the same learning opportunities as men, both in material and learning methods, to achieve what is the essential goal of the education process. That is to achieve the perfection of the Insani that comes down to the self-approach (Taqarrub) to God and the realization of happiness in the world and the hereafter.

Abstract: This research examines the meaning of the phrase "you are the light of the world" based on the text of Matthew 5:14 and applies it in the service of God's servants. By using qualitative research methods, especially interpretive literature study approaches, the meaning of the expression is obtained. Jesus' purpose was to make that expression to emphasize to each student to be an example and example, to be a counselor and guide. That is how every servant of God should apply. Abstrak: Penelitian ini meneliti tentang makna ungkapan “kamu adalah terang dunia” berdasarkan teks Matius 5:14 dan menerapkannya dalam pelayanan hamba Tuhan. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif, khususnya pendekatan kajian pustaka interpretatif, maka diperoleh makna dari ungkapan itu. Maksud Yesus menegemukakan ungkapan itu untuk menegaskan kepad setiap murid untuk menjadi contoh dan teladan, menjadi penasihat dan pembimbing. Demikianlah yang seharusnya diterapkan oleh setiap hamba Tuhan.

Qualitative research methods generally depend heavily on good communication between researcher and informant. When qualitative methodologists study informants with severe retardation whose use of language may be limited, what do they do? If the researchers plan to study the world of the informant, then traditional participant observation guidelines are useful. But when the researcher wants to interview the informant, some modifications need to be made. The authors suggest several guidelines to follow.

Abstract2020 is a worrying year for all countries, including Indonesia. This is due to the emergence of the Corona virus outbreak, which originated in Wuhan City of China, and spread throughout the world. Initially the government did not follow the method used by several other countries related to information provided about the corona covid-19 virus, namely by conducting a quick reaction of prevention socialization. The reason is so that the Indonesian people are not worried about issues that are worrying, other than to minimize the existence of Hoax news from a handful of irresponsible people. Finally the covid-19 outbreak also became a concern for the community, because many Indonesians were affected by the transmission of this virus. Therefore, the government took the initiative to take a lockdown policy for 14 days to anticipate the transmission of this corona outbreak. The study uses qualitative research methods with a literary and empirical approach. The data obtained comes from several regulations, such as the Governor of DKI Jakarta and several other regulations and policies, as well as phenomena that occur in the field. The results of the study stated that Indonesia had experienced a condition where the community's concern about Covid-19 was quite large, so that a government policy to lockdown was needed, as an effort to break the chain of the spread of the Corona Covid-19 virus.Keywords: Corona Virus, Lock Down, Government Policy AbstrakTahun 2020 merupakan tahun yang mengkhawatirkan seluruh negara, tanpa terkecuali negara Indonesia. Hal itu disebabkan munculkan wabah virus Corona, yang bermula dari Kota Wuhan China, dan menyebar ke seluruh penjuru dunia. Awalnya pemerintah tidak mengikuti cara yang digunakan oleh beberapa negara lainnya terkait informasi yang diberikan mengenai virus corona covid-19, yaitu dengan melakukan reaksi cepat sosialisasi pencegahan. Penyebabnya, agar masyarakat Indonesia  tidak khawatir dengan isu yang mengkhawatirkan, selain untuk meminimalisir adanya berita Hoax dari segelintir orang yang tidak bertanggung jawab. Akhirnya wabah covid-19 ini juga menjadi hal yang mengkhawatirkan bagi masyarakat, karena banyak warga Indonesia yang terkena dampak penularan virus ini. Oleh karenanya, pemerintah berinisiatif untuk mengambil kebijakan lockdown selama 14 hari guna mengantisipasi penularan wabah corona ini. Penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan literatur dan empiris. Data yang didapat berasal dari beberapa Peraturan, seperti Peraturan Gubernur DKI Jakarta dan beberapa peraturan dan kebijakan lainnya, serta fenomena yang terjadi di lapangan. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa Indonesia sudah mengalami kondisi dimana kekhawatiran masyarakat terhadap covid-19 cukup besar, sehingga diperlukan kebijakan pemerintah untuk melakukan Lockdown, sebagai upaya memutus mata rantai penyebaran virus corona Covid-19Kata kunci : Virus Corona, Lock Down, Kebijakan Pemerintah

ABSTRACT Objectives: to analyze ethically, aesthetically and politically the cine-debate of the movie “Human”, reflecting on training of researchers in qualitative research. Methods: the debate about moral questions as the essence of humanity was based on Narrative Bioethics; the comprehensive, relational and reflective character of qualitative methods; and the ethical and social sense of qualitative researches. Results: the narratives of the experiences of morality, loaded with facts and valuations, highlighting the importance of reflexivity in all phases of the qualitative research process, from thinking about themes and research questions to fieldwork, from data analysis to the production of reports, fostering the researcher’s responsibility both in the intervention for understanding and narrating the world, and in its possible transformation. Final Considerations: cinematographic art becomes an instrument of reflexivity capable of affecting and mobilizing students, in a fusion of horizons of understanding of different universes that dialogue.
