This article aims to examine the importance of character education to create Indonesian people who have knowledge, have noble morals, have personality and character. The writing of this article uses the librarian method and in-depth study of the literature. The issue of the character of students and the character of the nation is currently the most important issue for the world of education in the country. Education includes two main interests, namely the development of individual potential and the inheritance of cultural values. There are three foundations that make up the philosophy of education, namely: the ontological, epistemological and axiological foundation. A person who is studying education is required to think about essential problems regarding education. Various problems of the nation today can only be fixed by individuals of the younger generation with character: smart, quality, ethical, disciplined, honest, hard work and moral. It is hoped that the development of Indonesia's young generation can become the identity of the nation's children in the era of globalization and acculturation of world culture, and can encourage independence in an effort to increase the competitiveness of Indonesia's young generation. The back and forth of the nation's future is very much determined by the quality of human resources who are intelligent, have character, have good character, in accordance with the philosophy and goals of national education.

Education which is a system in the perspective of anthology is an attempt to humanize humans by an appropriate manner to achieve very high humane values as an attempt to change as well as to move the cultural values to any individual in society. But this view is difficult to achieve when the belief that a person's success will occur due to the efforts started early in order to organize their future without having an education. This paper will provide a breakthrough through leadership of education that is not only based on good intellectual ability, but also good emotional and spiritual. With the result that it will contribute qualified modern human resources. Modern human Resources is a human being who has the potential of ad equated intellectual quality. However, sometimes the potential is empty because it is not matched by the quality of the good faith or emotional. In the fact, they (modern humans) have good reasoning capability. However, the success which is useful in the future whether for themselves, the community, the nation and the state are not only enough by having logical thought only. But, it also requires EQ Emotional Quotient (level of emotional or personality) , CQ Creativity Quotient (level of creativity) and SQ Spiritual Quotient (level religiosities or faith and devotion to God. Thus , the national education system must be able to provide a solution- which is able to break of the empty circle of values and morals happening in education system around us . the empty circle we must combine as well as put the intellectual intelligence , emotional intelligence , and spiritual intelligence known as ESQ in order to get balance between the fulfillment of rights and vertical or horizontal obligations. ESQ is a role of the leadership of its resources which include Human Resources and Natural Resources with the organization as a model of leadership in education. ESQ if applied in educational leadership level, it would be beneficial along with the growth and development of the educational organization with the growth of moral values.

Character education and development of Pancasila values need to be implemented ??in schools to face globalization era that will bring many changes along with acceleration of new cultures and civilizations from various nations in the world. It means the world of education in generating quality of human resources and professionals must prepare a competitive generation of characters. A concrete steps to realize together is character education from an early age. On the other hand, the teacher as the spearhead in education world can insert character implementation in every learning process. One effective step that can be done is to implement cooperative script strategy in learning process and character implementation.

The success of a nation is measured by the success of its young generation in the present and the future. Therefore the business in education is the main factor to form a young generation of character. Where quality and competence are the critical success factors. Globalization is where the world has no boundaries, and this is the reality that the world community must face. How to respond to globalization and modernization while maintaining the value of cultural values that characterize a society in a culture. Cultural character education is an approach that must be done so that development can run in accordance with the value of local wisdom value of quality and in accordance with the environment.   Abstrak Keberhasilan suatu bangsa diukur dengan keberhasilan generasi mudanya di masa kini dan masa yang akan datang. Karenanya usaha dibidang pendidikan merupakan faktor utama untuk membentuk generasi muda yang berkarakter . Dimana kualitas dan kompentensi menjadi faktor penentu keberhasilan. Globalisasi adalah di mana dunia sudah tidak mengenal batas, dan ini adalah realita yang harus dihadapi masyarakat dunia. Bagaimana merespon globalisasi dan modernisasi dengan tetap mempertahankan nilai nilai budaya yang menjadi ciri suatu masyarakat dalam suatu egara.Pendidikan karakter berbasis kebudayaan adalah pendekatan yang harus dilakukan agar pembangunan dapat berjalan sesuai dengan nilai nilai kearifan lokal yang berkualitas dan sesuai dengan lingkungannya. The higher education bears great responsibility and obligation, especially to develop intelectual human resources who can be contribute to state and nation such as in the fields of politic, law, economy, education, health, religion, and others for elevating quality of life and wealth of society. However young generation today, performs lower quality in moral and character, so that the higher education must improve the students’ morality and character along with all of its ‘civitas academica’. Educating character in the higher education purposes to anticipate degradation of character, and also serve to forms the hardy character of students for facing toward the various of challanges. By educating character the students become nation’s young intelectual who have prime pesonality as the goals of national education. The implementation of educating charater in the higher education should be teach the accentuate on the cognitive matter, but also on the affective, conative, and skilled matter. The important thing which should be noticed that learning character must be applied on all of the subject matter, so that, all the lectures and college’s employees pay attention to our nation and state.

Education is a part of human life which has an important position. The intended interest in this matter is how humans carry out their lives and improve the quality of life. Indirectly if seen based on the philosophy of education which will direct people to think deeply or rooted in the reality of education. The development of national education must also develop in line with global developments by still taking into account the character's cultural values, and also an assessment of conditional factors. The implementation and development of education as intended and expected are in accordance with Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 20 of 2003. Educational policies and roles that are oriented towards future progress will give birth to quality Indonesians. Qualified humans are humans who have high morale and are intellectual sufficient to know or master science and technology. The new paradigm of education is a new pattern or concept of education to achieve the goals of national education. The purpose of education is to produce human resources capable of facing various future challenges. In essence, the Education Policy that has been made is to improve the quality of education and the welfare of the nation.

Character education is a vital instrument in determining the progress of a nation. Therefore the government needs to build educational institutions in order to produce good human resources that are ready to oversee and deliver the nation at a progressive level. It’s just that in reality, national education is not in line with the ideals of national education because the output is not in tune with moral values on the one hand and the potential for individuals to compete in world intellectual order on the other hand. Performance appraisal of employees is an important thing to do by government agencies and private companies. It is useful to see, monitor the level and quality of work given by an employee to his company in order to create a company that is able to achieve the goals of each company by starting to do evaluation of HR (Human Resources) because in the business and management world says that a great company is a company that is able to manage its human resources. AbstractThe problem of Human Resources (HR) in Indonesia is becoming increasingly complex, this is reflected in the large number of formal education graduates from various levels who are not absorbed in the world of work. Many factors cause this to happen, including the mismatch between HR competencies and the labor market, the growth of the workforce is greater than the availability of available employment and population distribution between regions is not evenly distributed. If you look at the achievements of Indonesian tertiary education graduates, many of Indonesian tertiary education graduates are slow to get jobs, this shows that there is a broken link between higher education and the world of work. Higher education has not been able to produce graduates with high selling prices armed with the knowledge they have learned even though in general higher education graduates have greater employment opportunities than high school or lower level graduates. Many realities on the ground show that the quality of Indonesian people as a potential resource still does not meet expectations. This happens because of the low quality of education in Indonesia. By fulfilling good educational needs, the students will get benefits and can improve the quality of life of the knowledge they have, so that after completing their education, they can get decent jobs or create quality jobs. Indonesia's education world must start to build links with the world of work, so that the world of work responds to graduates produced in accordance with what the world of work wants; this paradigm must be understood and built by the Indonesian government. Education transformation is needed so that education is able to produce reliable and resilient human resources; education and educators must be improved.

It is necessary for Islamic educational institutions to have the power of changing themselves to be able to take part in determining the ideal and success of national education. Precisely, today, Islamic educational sys­tem is perceived weak and powerless in the dynamic of social changes have been occurring in the society. Even, this situation, it is frequently assumed as the burden of national education. Why can it be so? Aren't Islamic educational providers are also referring to the only one Law, that is, Law Number 20 year 2003 regarding National Educational System? What is wrong with Islamic education ? How is the quality of human resources of these providers? This article tries to answer those questions. This article also deals with analogue of Islamic Education as a subsystem of national education with family system in Islam. Fam­ily is a system. Child is a subsystem of the family. The more the child is matured and independent the better his/her family is.

This study is inspired by the limited educational resources in sports education, especially those that discuss the role of leadership in improving the quality of education and training of athletes in achieving the quality of human resources in the form of improving performance in sport. Through this research, it is hoped that a pedagogical resource can be used as a model, that improving the achievements of the young generation in the field of sport is not enough with the education and training of athletes, but strong leadership is needed by the Regional Head of Kediri, East Java, Indonesia, and the Indonesian National Sports Committee of Kediri City is the parent of the research. This method of research is qualitative. Data was collected using in-depth interviewing and participatory observation techniques. The results showed that the role of leadership in the education and training of athletes plays a very important role in improving the performance of sport in the area. Its form may be in the form of a leader's decision on the allocation of funds, monitoring, motivation and maximum moral support.
