Mothers are expected to have good relationships with their adolescents. However, there aremany conflicts between mothers and their adolescents, which cannot be resolved properly bymothers. Therefore, mothers who have early adolescent child need to have a mindful attitudeto avoid conflicts and resolve conflicts that occur with teenagers. The aim of this study is tofind out the relationship between mindfulness and conflict among mothers who haveadolescents aged 13-15 years. Participants in this study were 118 mothers who haveadolescents aged 13-15 years, which were collected using 15-item Five Facet MindfulnessQuestionnaire (FFMQ-15) and Konflik Ibu-Anak (KIA) and convenience sampling method.Correlation analysis show that there is a significant negative relationship between mindfulnessand conflict among mothers who have adolescents aged 13-15 years (r(117) = -0.272; p <0.05,one-tailed). This finding confirmed previous study, that the mor mindfulness the mother is, themore mother aware and process her emotion, and the less conflict they she has with herdaughter. It is recommended that further analysis needed to the context of respondents.

The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between grit and parenting style of mother among Indian rural adolescents. Parental Authority Questionnaire [1] and Short Grit Scale [2] was used to meet objectives of the paper. A sample of 60 adolescents was chosen from private institution located at Bathinda (Punjab) by using convenience sampling technique. Results of correlation analysis revealed that significant (negative) relationship exists between mother&rsquo;s authoritarian parenting style (only) and grit. This is true for both genders and for adolescents who comes from joint families. Educational implication of the study signifies that the suitable informative and counseling sessions should be organised for the parents to make them conscious of the appropriate parenting style for the development of gritty adolescents.

Background: The growth and development of the child are essential and inevitable, and the growth of every child requires motor development. Purpose: This study examines the relationship between motor self-motivation and attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder's symptoms in children with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder. 40 people were selected by the convenience sampling method from the psychology centers of the province. The research method was descriptive-correlational. A questionnaire was used to collect data. Data were analyzed using Pearson correlation and linear regression. Results: The results showed that there is a significant negative relationship between motor self-motivation and symptoms of attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder. The results of regression analysis also showed that motor self-motivation is able to predict the symptoms of attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder in children. Conclusion: In general, the more children's motor motivation, the more minor attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder's symptoms. This study originated from the fact CHD be the cause of death in the world. CHD negatively impact the physical and psychological condition of patients, such as depression. One of the factors that affect the condition of depression is the ability to self-acceptance. Some research indicates that the ability of self-acceptance is good to help individuals avoided from depression. This makes researchers interested in examining it and see whether it is true there is a relationship self-acceptance and depression. The hypothesis of this research is to have a significant relationship between self-acceptance with the level of depression in patients with CHD. The purpose of this study was to describe self-acceptance, levels of depression, and relationships both in patients with CHD in the Heart Clinic Dr. Achmad Mochtar Bukittinggi. This research uses a correlation approach to the relationship self-acceptance and depression in patients with CHD. The population in this study all patients with CHD who had experienced a heart attack at the hospital, amounting to +345 persons. This study used convenience sampling technique or accidental sampling. The number of subjects of this study numbered 40 people. Methods of data collection using a scale of self-acceptance which is based on the theory of Sheerer and scale levels of depression have been prepared based on the theory of Beck. Analysis using the Pearson product moment correlation. Results of data analysis found that overall CHD patients in the Cardiac Clinic Dr. Achmad Mochtar Bukittinggi have low levels of depression and self-acceptance scores were. Based on the correlation test results obtained correlation value (r) -.839, p =.000 (p &lt;.01) means there is a very significant negative relationship between self-acceptance with depression. This means that the higher the self acceptance of patients, the lower level of depression.

Negative emotional states, such as depression, anxiety, and stress, can arise and impact the individual's adaptive function. Self-compassion includes treating oneself with wisdom and understanding when faced with suffering, which helps improve self-regulation in dealing with emotional problems. This study aims to see the relationship between self-compassion and negative emotional states in Diponegoro University medical students, involving 118 participants of second-year students using the convenience sampling technique. Measurements in the study were carried out using the self-compassion scale (22 items, α = 0.925) and the DASS-21 Indonesian version (21 items, α = 0.892). Spearman's rho showed a significant negative relationship between self-compassion and negative emotional states (rxy = -0.630, p = 0.000). Self-compassion was also found to have a significant negative relationship with depression (rxy = -0.643, p = 0.000), anxiety (rxy = -0.440, p = 0.000), and stress (rxy = -0.516, p = 0.000). These results indicate that the higher self-compassion of the participants, the lower the negative emotional states, and vice versa. Self-compassion predicts negative emotional states in participants ranging from depression, stress, and anxiety sequentially. The further identified prevalence of negative emotional states in participants in this study. A program to enhance self-compassion is needed to reduce negative emotional states.

Self esteem is an individual’s assessment of his/her own abilities and evaluates himself/herself whether aperson is positive or negative, valuable or worthless. Perfectionism is someone who has too high a standard and overly worried about himself/herself being perfect and fear of failure will experience. Perfectionist feels him/her self esteem depends on the performance and results achieved. This paper aim to findout the relationship between perfectionism and self esteem in emerging adulthood students. This research is a correlational study using quantitative method of distuting quesionnaires to emerging adulthood in Jakarta area. Perfectionism questionnaire refers to Frost, Marten, Lahart, and Rosenberg, while self esteem questionnaire refers to Rosenberg. The research is using convenience sampling technique involving 429 students. The result of the study shows that adaptive perfectionism has a significant negative relationship with self esteem with r = -0.301, p = 0.000 < 0.05; maladaptive perfectionism has a significant negative relationship with self esteem with r = -0.191, p = 0.036 < 0.05; and non perfectionism has significant negative relationship with self esteem r = 0.424, p = 0.000 < 0.05. So, that the higher types of perfectionism (adaptive, maladaptive, non perfectionism), the lower student’s self esteem. This study also shows that adaptive perfectionists’GPA scores were higher than maladaptive perfectionists.

This study observes a particular group of students learning medical terms (MT) implicitly through studying medical subjects. That is, based on the policy followed in the context of the study, students shall not receive any deliberate terms instruction. This paper investigates their experiences and attitudes towards acquiring MT in such a situation. Students’ acquisition and proficiency, hypothesizing a positive relationship between the two constructs, are self-assessed through pre- and post-test surveys. The surveys included 114 and 95 students in each phase, respectively. Prior to the surveys, focus group discussions were conducted, according to which the questionnaire was developed. A statistical correlational Pearson test was done to examine the relationship between students’ proficiency and incidental terms acquisition. The results indicated a significant negative relationship between the two constructs tested. The study also tested the effect of time on increasing acquisition through conducting a paired independent t-test between the two sets of data. The results found that a more extended period was significant to incidental acquisition. Overall, through comparing the means, modes, and medians in the two phases (pre- and post-test), the findings reveal an increase in the students’ terms acquisition volume. However, students seem not to favour the approach and still advocate explicit instruction for technical terms.

Every human being will one day experience a tense period in the short term when facing known problems such as career pressures, family disputes or quarrels, material pressures, and personal despair, and we will think that this is depression, which is not is an important problem because it will resolve itself, but none of these fleeting conditions is depression. Good emotional intelligence can reduce aggression, especially in adolescents. Therefore, if emotions are managed successfully, the individual will be able to entertain themselves when overwritten by sadness, can release anxiety, moodiness or offense and rise quickly again from it all. This research is field research with a correlational approach, exploring the relationship between depression and emotional intelligence in married students. The results of the hypothesis test show that between emotional intelligence and depression in married students has a significant negative relationship (XY = -0.411; sig = 0.014 <0.05). This is in accordance with the data obtained from the SPSS 19 for Windows program, stating that r table 0.334 and r xy (r hit) -0.411, said to be significant if r xy = 0.411> r table = 0.334. In other words, the higher the emotional intelligence of students who are married, the lower the possibility of depression.

The article deals with an investigation of the relationship between inter-organizational trust and performance. Using data obtained in a questionnaire survey in 373 organizations with more than 20 employees with their seat in the Czech Republic, we found the relationship between inter-organizational trust and supplier performance, mediated by the level of conflict. Also, the statistically significant negative relationship between inter-organizational trust and costs of negotiation and the statistically significant positive relationship between supplier performance and perceived performance were confirmed. The hypothesis on the statistically significant relationship between inter-organizational trust and negotiating costs was not confirmed. The structural equation modelling technique was used in the calculations. The calculated model fit indices (CFI, NFI, NNFI) with values over 0.9 demonstrate a very good quality of the model.

In the second language acquisition domain, researchers have devoted tremendous efforts to studying the relationship between L2 learning and some socio-affective factors, such as anxiety, motivation, etc. However, little research has been done to examine whether and how perfectionism, a psychological trait, affects L2 learning and L2 performance. The present study aims to fill this gap and investigate the relationship between the level of perfectionism and L2 performance among Chinese EFL college learners. Two specific questions are raised: (1) What is the relationship between perfectionism and L2 writing performance in terms of linguistic complexity, accuracy, and fluency? (2) What is the relationship between the six dimensions of perfectionism (Concern over Mistakes, Personal Standards, Parental Expectations, Parental Criticism, Doubts about Actions, Organization) and L2 writing performance in terms of linguistic complexity, accuracy, and fluency? To answer these questions, forty second-year students from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies majoring in English participated in the present study. The participants were required to compose a piece of English argumentative writing on the online system and then complete a 35-item Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale online immediately. The collected data were then processed and analyzed through SPSS (v. 17). The results of the analysis revealed that: (1) one of the measures of syntactic complexity has a significant negative relationship with perfectionism; (2) Personal Standards, one of the six dimensions of perfectionism, has a significant negative relationship with the participants&rsquo; L2 writing performance; (3) both Parental Expectations and Parental Criticism are found negatively correlated with the fluency aspect of the writing performance and the relationships have a significant effect. The implications of the findings are suggested for pedagogy and L2 learning.

This study aims to determine the relationship between self-efficacy with anxiety facing matches in athletes at the Apac Inti soccer school. Anxiety will arise when faced with something new such as facing a match. Athletes who master physical, technical, and good tactics, but if an athlete's mind is disturbed by excessive negative things, it can interfere with concentration and not optimal in the competition, causing athletes to feel anxious. The population in this study were 40 male students of Apac Inti aged 15-18 years. This research uses a quantitative correlational method with saturated sampling technique. Based on the research results obtained correlation coefficient (r) = -0.547; p <0.05 and it can be concluded that there is a significant negative relationship between self-efficacy with anxiety facing the match in athletes at Apac Inti soccer school.
