ABSTRACT Digital books or e-books (electronic books) are one of the technologies that utilize computers that are used to display information in the form of text, images, audio, video, and other multimedia in a concise and dynamic form that can be read by computers or other electronic devices. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) with a 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). Define phase to define problems in learning. Design phase to produce initial products and research instruments. The develop phase to obtain product and instrument eligibility. Disseminate stage for the distribution of teaching materials based on e-books. Research instruments include: validation sheets, and response questionnaires. The results showed that e-book based teaching materials were appropriate to be used to increase the interest of students in MA Ma'arif Roudlotu Tholibin in terms of expert assessments with good categories and from the responses of students and teachers in very good categories. From the assessment of language, materials and media that is 69%, 64% and 72% with good evaluation criteria. Whereas for students of MA Ma'arif Roudlotu Tholibin that is 87% with criteria very good and the teacher is 87% with very good criteria.

The aim of this research is to create a teaching material and method in writing poetry using lotus techniques. This research also uses research and development methods. It is research that produces certain products and the effectiveness of their use. The product that will be produced in this research is in the form of poetry writing teaching materials developed with lotus techniques for 10th grade of Senior High School students in MAS Tahfizil Medan. The results of this study indicate that 10th grade students need new methods and teaching materials in improving their understanding in writing poetry. And after testing the lotus technique is very efficient to improve students' ability to write poetry. After the posttest and pretest results the results obtained are the low category by 3.33%, the medium category by 93.34%, and the high category by 3.33%.

Abstract Development research has been carried out to produce teaching materials for basic chemistry learning materials based on STEM in a wetland context to improve scientific literacy that is valid, practical, and effective. This type of research is Research and Development (R & R&D) with a 4D development model modified into 3D (define, design, and develop). The trial of the developed teaching materials was carried out in a class in the first Basic Chemistry course consisting of 28 students. Data collection techniques used validation sheets, readability questionnaires, response questionnaires, observation sheets, and scientific literacy tests. Data analysis used descriptive analysis. The results showed that the developed teaching materials had met the following criteria: (1) Valid; judging from the value of the feasibility aspects of content, presentation, language, and media, each of which obtained very valid criteria. (2) Practical; reviewed from the results of the readability of teaching materials in individual and small group tests, the criteria are practical and very practical. Students’ responses to teaching materials have very practical criteria, and observations of the ability of teachers to use teaching materials and manage their respective classes get very good criteria. (3) Effective, seen from the results of the N-gain scientific literacy showing a high increase. With the results of this development, it can be said that the STEM-based teaching materials for basic chemistry learning to improve scientific literacy in the context of wetlands are suitable as teaching materials.

The research is the development of Agricultural English teaching materials at Universitas Muslim Indonesia. The purposes of this research are to (1) produce a type of Agricultural English teaching material suitable to be used by the students of Faculty of Agriculture UMI and to (2) discover why the students are learning English. The method used is research and development. The research site was at the Faculty of Agriculture UMI with the number of 50 respondents. The results showed that based on the student responses, 12 out of 42 topics occupy the highest percentage needed for Agricultural English teaching materials. Those 12 topics are as follows: rice, tomatoes, chili,  shallots, eggplant, papaya, rambutan, coconut, coffee, land, disease pest, and seeds. Then, the purposes of the students learning English can be categorized into two major groups, namely to anticipate competition in the workplace where the ability to communicate both oral and written is needed and to prepare themselves in the academic field both to complete S1 (undergraduate degree)  and to continue their studies S2 (master degree).

The research aims to develop and determine the feasibility of nail plant booklets in Tahura STS. This type of research is Research and Development research using ADDIE learning design models. The booklet that was developed contains 42 types of nails that grow in Tahura STS, consisting of 14 types of epipitic nails and 28 types of terrestrial nails. The booklet that was developed contains scientific names, pictures, classifications and descriptions of ferns that grow in Tahura STS. Validation of media experts was carried out twice with a final score of 85.71% with the category "Very Good". Material expert validation was carried out twice with a final score of 92.8% in the "Very Good" category. Thus the product developed is worth testing. The percentage of small group trials on booklets was 89.6% in the "very good" category. The percentage of large group trials on booklet results was 90.9% in the "very good" category. The lecturers' response to the nail plant booklet in Tahura STS was 83.9% in the "very good" category. Based on the validation of the media experts and the results of small and large group trials and lecturer responses it can be concluded that the booklet of nail plants in Tahura STS is suitable for use as a enrichment for plant taxonomy courses. Keywords: booklet, enrichment material, nail plants. Abstrak. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan mengetahui kelayakan booklet tumbuhan paku di tahura STS. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian Research and Development dengan menggunakan model desain pembelajaran ADDIE. Booklet yang dikembangkan memuat 42 jenis paku yang tumbuh di Tahura STS, terdiri dari 14 jenis paku epipit dan 28 jenis paku teresterial. Booklet yang dikembangkan memuat nama ilmiah, gambar, klasifikasi dan deskripsi dari tumbuhan paku yang tumbuh di Tahura STS. Validasi ahli media dilakukan sebanyak dua kali dengan nilai akhir 85,71% dengan kategori “Sangat Baik”. Validasi ahli materi dilakukan sebanyak dua kali dengan nilai akhir 92.8% dengan kategori “Sangat Baik”. Dengan demikian produk yang dikembangkan layak untuk diujicobakan. Persentase ujicoba kelompok kecil terhadap booklet sebesar 89,6% dengan kategori “sangat baik”.  Persentase ujicoba kelompok besar terhadap booklet hasil sebesar 90,9% dengan kategori “sangat baik”. Respon dosen terhadap booklet tumbuhan paku di Tahura STS sebesar 83,9% dengan kategori “sangat baik”. Berdasarkan validasi ahli media dan hasil ujicoba kelompok kecil dan besar serta respon dosen dapat disimpulkan booklet tumbuhan paku di Tahura STS layak digunakan sebagai vahan pengayaan mata kuliah taksonomi tumbuhan. Kata kunci: booklet, bahan pengayaan, tumbuhan paku.

Electronic Media is no more a buzz word now. Almost every educated and semi-educated person all over the world is a part of digital media and access information electronically. Affordable smart phones, electronic gadgets and telecommunication services have made communication fast and multimedia-rich containing text, images, audio-video and animation messages. In this 21st century, digital media has given a democratic opportunity to all of us to become a broadcaster. People discuss online about issues of considerable importance and as well as trivial matters. This online platform has brought out many changes in personality and thoughts of its users and especially of the coming generation. Sharing confidential information and being accessible 24X7 has brought out changes in behavior and manner- ism of new generation. New generation has become more expressive and communicate more than earlier generation. They are connected to more and diverse set of people all at once and every time. Communication which is always based on emotions has changed in current scenario which is the theme of this paper.

Nowadays, the number of photos taken each day is growing exponentially on phones and the number of photos uploading on Internet is also increasing rapidly. This explosion of photos in Internet and personal devices such as phones posed a challenge to the effective storage and transmission.Multimedia files are the files having text, images, audio, video, and animations, which are large and require lots of hard disk space. Hence, these files take more time to move from one place to another place over the Internet. Image compression is an effective way to reduce the storage space and speedup the transmission. Data compression is used everywhere on the internet, that is, the videos, the images, and the music in online. Even though many different image compression schemes exist, current needs and applications require fast compression algorithms which produce acceptable quality images or video with minimum size. In this paper, image and video compression standards are discussed.

To realize the success of improving education, efforts must be made from various sides, namely paying attention to all components that play an important role such as improving the quality of lecturers, curriculum, facilities and infrastructure, management and community participation. E-module with the sigil application really helps students in lectures because the tutorial content facility supports both descriptions in text, images, and videos so that students have an interest, are able to understand and review learning materials properly and motivate them to study independently. The objectives of this study are: 1) to produce problem solving-based e-modules that are suitable for use in learning, 2) to determine the effectiveness of e-modules developed in improving learning outcomes. Introduction to accounting I. This type of development research uses the Borg & Gahl model with the Dick n Carey development model. The results showed; (1) The instructional media expert test is at very feasible criteria (80.26%), (2) the learning design expert test is in the appropriate criteria (75%), (3) the material expert test is at very feasible criteria (92.5 %), (4) small group trials are in very feasible criteria (84.16%) (5) Limited field trials are in very feasible criteria (81.79%). Based on the results of the feasibility assessment of the developed problem solving-based e-module with the percentage of the average score of the overall variable score of 82.74%, it is included in the “very feasible” category, meaning that the developed e-module is proven to be feasible for use.

The objective of this research is to develop teaching materials of mathematical set based on Islamic values that are feasible, practical, and effective. This research type is Research and Development (R&D). The model used in this research is ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The instruments of data collection used the questionnaires and evaluation questions. The result of this research is the average of expert validation is 81,48% (very feasible). Then, based on the implementation of the student small group is obtained practicality percentage of 82%. While the result of the field trial in one class is obtained effectiveness percentage of 66,67%. Therefore, this research can be concluded that teaching materials of mathematical set based on Islamic values are feasible, practical, and effective.

The species of shrimps in the estuarine areain Batanjung Village have great potential for the academic field, and have not been used as a supplementary module for Biologyon animalia concept, phylum Artrophoda in crustaceas class, for the tenth grade ofsenior high school. This research aims to produce avalid module for Biology on the shrimp species in the estuarine region of Batanjung Village for the tenth grade of SMAN 1 Basarang. Theresearch type used is Research and development (R & D). There are 9 steps in this activity.The result of the field research shows that there are 11 species of shrimps, namely Harpiosquilla raphideae. Peneaus monodon, Peneaus merguensis, Peneaus indicus, Peneaus Vanamae, Metapeneaus monoceros, Palaemon adpersus, Palaemon concinnus, Macrobrachium nipponse, Macrobrachium equidens, Macrobrachium rosenbergii. Furthermore, the species of shrimp were designed to be a supplementary module for Biology for the tenth grade of SMA. The teaching materialswere validated by three experts, and the legibility test were done by the tenth-grade students of SMAN-1 Basarang. The results of validity and legibility test shows that the created teaching materials can be used as the supplementary materials for Biology of the tenth grade of SMA.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Lembar Kerja Siswa Matematika berdasarkan strategi metakognitif. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model Dick &  Carey.  Proses  penelitian  ini  dilakukan  dalam  urutan  aktivitas sebagai berikut: 1. Melakukan analisis kebutuhan, 2) menentukan tujuan instruksional umum, 3) menentukan peta kompetensi, 4) meninjau   karakteristik   dan   latar   belakang   peserta   didik,   5) menentukan tujuan instruksional yang spesifik , Penilaian, 7) menentukan strategi pembelajaran, 8) menentukan materi pembelajaran, 9) melakukan evaluasi formatif, dan terakhir 10) melaksanakan evaluasi sumatif dan difusi inovasi pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menghasilkan bahan ajar dalam bentuk Lembar Kerja Siswa Abstract: This research aims to develop Mathematics Student Worksheet based on Metacognitive Strategy. This research method is research development by using model of Dick & Carey. The process of this research is conducted in order of relevance as follows: 1. analysis results, 2) understanding of general instructional goals, 3) understanding of the map, 4) understanding of the characteristics and background of learners, 5) determination of specific instructional goals, assessment, 7) determination learning strategies, 8) determining learning materials, 9) conducting formative evaluations, and finally 10) implementing summative evaluations and. This study produces teaching materials in the form of Student Worksheet.
