Workshops and seminars in the field of education has been widely implemented , but it is still rarely discussed in detail about creating instructional media . In addition , observations of teachers' competence of MGMP Madrasah Tsanawiah Kabupaten Madiun , it can be said that the competence of most teachers are still weak . Most teachers still have many obstacles in achieving the learning objectives. This condition as a background of this teachers' training on making attractive and long lasting media. The success of this program will be seen from (1) the existence of a positive change in attitude and a new understanding of teachers that English learning process can be more fun with the learning media ; (2) the emergence of understanding of the various media that attractive and long lasting in English subject ; and (3) the emergence of innovations in the application of learning media in the classroom

Abstract Purpose: This article aims to describe English learning in the Covid-19 Pandemic Era. This article also explains the importance of the Internet in the learning process and the importance of parents in the development of students in the Covid-19 Pandemic Era. Research methodology: This study used a descriptive method. Results: This study suggests that parents should motivate their children in this situation because the learning process is carried out at home, and only parents can directly monitor the learning process. Limitations: This study has limitations. It is the information of parents who guide their students in the learning process, especially English Subject in the Covid-19 pandemic. Contribution: The study is beneficial for teachers and parents to conduct a better learning strategy during Covid -19 pandemic.

Mechanical students need material in English subject that relevant with their department. However, most of the teachersused the materials that are general English to teach English in the mechanical department. Thus, in this research the writer did it toknow the students’ need. In this research, the samples are the students in the mechanical metal department. There are two classeswhich are 45 students. The writer took 15 students through technique sampling is sample random sampling. The instrument thatwriter used to take the data is questionnaires through open – ended questions. The students need in learning English can be seen inthree aspects: necessities, lacks, and wants. The first aspect is necessity, the finding is the students need English materials that are easyto be understood by them. They need the words of the text which are simple and easy to be understood. The second aspect is lack thatthe students’ lacks are they have fewer vocabularies, so they are difficult to understand the texts. The last aspect is wants; they wantto have fluency in speaking so they need to have more activities in speaking skill. Otherwise, the teacher rarely gave speaking skill inteaching and learning process. Thus, the teachers need to know what are the students need to be learned in their departments.

The Media

The media is a tool that intersects in the process of teaching and learning for the achievement of educational goals in general and learning objectives in schools in particular. The media is also a means of transporting messages or information that is instructional or contain teaching purposes and is therefore called learning media. Many benefits can be taken from media management from what we know so far. The practical benefits of instructional media in the teaching and learning process are learning media that can clarify the presentation of messages and information so as to facilitate and improve the process and learning outcomes. The use of instructional media with multicam studio design using vmix can increase student motivation and can also affect student achievement or learning outcomes. It is expected that the results of this learning media will have an impact on increasing students in learning the basics of multimedia systems, as well as a question and answer activity to increase student activity in the learning process.

This research was conducted to determine the effectiveness of the revitalization program for Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran Teacher's Deliberation of Course of Study (MGMP) as a medium to improve English teacher competency. The objectives of this study are (1) Analyzing the reaction of each participant to the English Subject Teacher Consultation activity in Pidie District. (2) Explain knowledge and skills regarding the theoretical and philosophical foundations of English subjects after participating in the English Subject Teacher Consultation activities in the Pidie District. (3) Analyze the motivation of each participant in the English Subject Teacher Meeting to transfer knowledge and skills into the English learning process. (4) Analyzing the impact of the activities of the English Subject Teachers Conference on the development of English teacher competencies in Pidie District. The research method applied in this study is evaluative research based on (Arikunto 2007: 222) evaluative research can be interpreted as a process carried out in order to determine policy by first considering the positive values and benefits of a program, as well as considering the processes and techniques that have been used to do a research. The results showed that each participant's positive reaction to the implementation of the program could significantly influence the increase in knowledge and skills for each participant / program participant in relation to the philosophical and theoretical basis of learning English in secondary schools. However, increasing knowledge and skills did not always have an impact significant at the practical level, namely the quality of the learning process carried out by teachers, participants in the MGMP revitalization program, in the classroom. Teachers still tend to use conventional patterns in the process of learning English. . In general, the implementation of the MGMP revitalization program has been able to improve the participants' knowledge and skills discourse on the philosophical and theoretical foundations of English learning. The obstacle that arises then is the lack of motivation of some participants to apply knowledge and skills in the context of their performance. The lack of motivation to apply this knowledge and skills has resulted in learning practices that have not changed much. This shows that the forum has not been able to effectively and optimally carry out its role and function as a means for the development and development of teaching professionalism.

This research aims to know the perspective of Islamic students about English subject. It reveals the questions such as: 1) what is the perspective of Islamic studies students towards English Subject in State Islamic Institute Pontianak?, 2) how does English learning process help Islamic studies students in State Islamic Institute Pontianak enrich their field study knowledge?. The research used mixed method. To answers the first research question, survey was used as research method, and questioner was used as instrument. Meanwhile, to answer the second research question, qualitative approach was chosen as method to gain answer. Interview was used as data collecting technique. The finding found that Islamic education students had positive perception dealing with the importance of learning English. The result also showed that English learning process on most of students’ perspective had not been effective and it did not give much contribution in increasing students’ English ability which deals with their disciplines. In conclusion, positive perception of students about the importance of learning English was not facilitated enough by learning process. AbstractLearning media is one component in the learning system that has relevance to other learning components. In the learning process, PAI and Budi Pekerti teachers are expected to be able to use various forms of instructional media. For that teachers PAI and Budi Pekerti must have media literacy in the form of the ability to know the various forms of learning media and understand the way, usability, function and purpose of use in the learning process. The purpose of writing this paper, namely: (1) describe the implementation of media literacy in the learning process of Islamic religious education and character; and (2) to describe the form of printed, electronic and digital media that can be used in the learning process of Islamic education and character. Therefore, PAI and Budi Pekerti teachers should have media literacy to make learning process more effective and efficient in delivering learners to achieve the planned learning objectives. AbstrakMedia pembelajaran merupakan salah satu komponen di dalam sistem pembelajaran yang memiliki keterkaitan dengan komponen pembelajaran lainnya. Dalam proses pembelajaran, guru PAI dan Budi Pekerti diharapkan mampu menggunakan berbagai bentuk media pembelajaran. Untuk itu guru PAI dan Budi Pekerti harus memiliki literasi media berupa kemampuan untuk mengetahui berbagai bentuk media pembelajaran dan memahami cara, kegunaan, fungsi dan tujuan penggunaannya dalam proses pembelajaran. Tujuan penulisan makalah ini, yaitu: (1) mendeskripsikan implementasi literasi media dalam proses pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam dan budi pekerti; dan (2) mendeskripsikan bentuk media pembelajaran berbasis cetak, elektronik dan digital yang bisa digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam dan budi pekerti. Untuk itu, guru PAI dan Budi Pekerti harus memiliki literasi media agar proses pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan lebih efektif dan efisien dalam mengantarkan peserta didik mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang direncanakan. Literasi Media Pembelajaran: Cetak, Elektronik, Digital.

>This research was aimed at investigating (1) lesson plan based on scientific approach as curriculum 2013 in the class VII of MTs Negeri DDI Jolle; (2) the implementation of English learning based on saintific approach; (3) the model of the learning in the curriculum 2013; (4) the use of instructional media; and (5) the assessment process based on curriculum 2013. This research was qualitative descriptive. Data were collected by using documentation, observation, and interview. The results showed that (1) lesson plan used in english learning in the class VII of MTs DDI Jolle accordance to Ministry Rule (Permen) No. 58, 2014; (2) the learning process has reflected the achievement of KI-1, KI-2, KI-3, and KI-4; (3) English learning based on a scientific approach covering five learning experience of observing, questioning, experimenting, associating and communicating feasible although it still not optimal; (4) the use of instructional media is not maximized because infocus display less clear and not attractive; (5) the assessment consist of attitude, knowledge, and skill. Based on this research suggested to the teachers to familiarize themselves communicating in English. Principals should consider the availability of instructional media. Other researchers are advised to conduct research related to the assessment process in curriculum 2013

Learning process is the most important part in education as an effort to mature learners, The success of the learning process becomes a benchmark achievement of learning objectives. To know the achievement of the success of learning objectives, it must be done evaluation / assessment. In particular the purpose of evaluation to determine the progress of learning outcomes of learners after following the learning, as well as to determine the level of effectiveness and efficiency of methods, strategies that teachers use in learning. Evaluation of learning has an important and strategic meaning in education, because the learning process becomes meaningful, as well as its evaluation results can be used as a basis to determine the next step, for teachers, principals, institutions, parents, and government. The importance of learning evaluation can be seen from the approach of the learning process, the characteristics of professional educators, and the institutional approach, but it can also be seen from its purpose, function and principles and the validity and reliability of its evaluation tool.

The media is a communication tool for teacher interaction with students which is a series of teaching and learning activities in schools. In the learning process the teacher has obstacles in conveying knowledge to students. The teacher needs media to be able to help attract the attention of students so that learning objectives are achieved. Picture card learning media can help teachers effectively achieve learning objectives in the teaching and learning process. This study applies a picture card learning media to students in class V SD Negeri 4 Tanjung Aman. The aim is to find out the improvement in student learning outcomes after the teacher applies the pictorial card learning media to fifth grade students of SD Negeri 4 Tanjung Aman. In this study using a design that is the Initial Test - The Final Group Single Test (The One Group Pretest - posttest). The learning outcomes in this study were obtained by the fifth grade students before and after the implementation of the pictorial card media, to find out the improvement in the learning outcomes of the fifth grade students of SD Negeri 4 Tanjung Aman. shows that the mean or posttest average is higher than the pretest. Mean posttest 62.22 and mean pretest 46.25, so there is an increase in learning outcomes after the application of the pictorial card media to fifth grade students of SD Negeri 4 Tanjung Aman.

Every success in the learning process will affect environmental factors, schools, attitudes, or students themselves. Each student enhances cognitive, affective, and psychomotor development. Student trading has the uniqueness and character of each in the learning process to respond to and understand teaching material or information obtained. Student learning independence can be seen from the achievements of students in responding, solving, and processing information by completing various tasks. Every student has a learning style that is prominent in him, and the teacher must be able to accommodate it. That is to achieve the learning objectives well and effectively. Learning style is the key to student success in learning. There are models (Type) of learning styles (Fleming, 2001), VARK (Visual, auditory, Reading, Kinesthetic) that can increase student activity in learning Indonesian. Students can learn through the senses that they have with a visual learning style that learns from what is seen, students with an auditory learning style that is learning through what is heard, and a kinesthetic learning style that is learning through motion and opening.
