Cloud technologies for development of geographically distributed computational and analytical Geological environment

Описываются подходы к организации единого рабочего пространства исследователя для обработки геологической информации. Предложены подходы по взаимодействию с внешними территориально распределенными сервисами обработки и анализа геологических данных на основе WPS-платформы и по организации интегральной платформы для доступа к интерактивным облачным сервисам обработки геологических данных. Приводятся примеры облачных сервисов и платформ и сравниваются их основные характеристики. Описывается программная реализация предложенных подходов в рамках разрабатываемой информационноаналитической системы GeologyScience.ru. Приводится общая архитектура системы, и кратко описывается каждый из ее модулей. Описываются внешние сервисы, интегрированные в разрабатываемую платформу. The purpose of the study is to create an approach for organization of unified workspace for geological data research and processing. The study proposes approaches for organization of interaction with external geographically distributed processing and analytical services of geological data based on WPS platforms. Аn approach for integral platform organization providing access to interactive cloud processing of geological data is proposed. It connects the users with modern methods of data processing and analysis. A brief description of existing cloud services and platforms and comparison of their basic features is presented. Various groups of cloud services are described depending on the type of services provided to the user. Software implementation of approaches proposed within developing informational and analytical system GeologyScience.ru is addressed. The general architecture of the system and author’s modules developed including technological solutions used are described. A brief review of the services integrated into the platform being developed now is given. The use of the developed platform for processing and analyzing of geological data allows further expanding of capabilities of information-analytical environment developers to support scientific research.

Trends in technology lead to an increasing of their role in the development of humanity. Exactly “cloud technologies”, which are the basis for the technological development of the information society now, also they play the role of the leading tool of informatization of education, especially united with “edutainment”.During the development and implementation of software and network technologies in professional artistic education, the following issues remain unsolved: the provision of modern computer equipment and software, technical support for the stable work of information products, and the provision of selective authorized access for students to specific network resources. The methodology based on “cloud calculates” technology provides an opportunity to overcome these difficulties. And the last, but not at least, students may be attracted to the most promising areas of the development of modern information products.Actuality, practical significance, and insufficient development of these problems caused the choice of the topic of our research: “Terms of use of “edutainment” and “cloud technologies” in professional artistic education “.The aim of the research is to determine the conditions of the use of “edutainment” and “cloud technologies” in the preparation of future teachers of musical art.Methods of research: analysis of psychological and pedagogical literature in order to determine the state of development of the problem; synthesis, comparison, generalization for justifying the concepts of “edutainment” and “cloud technologies” and methods of their use in the educational process.This article deals with issues of the use of edutainment technologies and “cloud technologies”. It is offered conditions of using edutainment and “cloud technologies” in post-nonclassical professional art education on the example of subject “Musical Art”. Actual “cloud” services are analyzed and examples of their integration to educational process of professional art establishments are proposed.

The article is devoted to the analysis of the Ukrainian market for the spread of cloud technologies, an overview of growth dynamics, application segments and identifies leading companies that offer services using cloud computing. According to the unanimous forecasts of the world’s leading consulting companies, the rapid improvement and spread of cloud computing is now one of the key trends that in the next 5-8 years will significantly affect the global development of not only the IT industry but also business, finance, public administration, medicine, education and many other areas of human life. Prospects for the rapid development of cloud services in Ukraine encourage more careful consideration of the experience of their application in more «mature» markets and identify the main benefits and risks of these technologies in local conditions. People perceive the cloud as a platform only for storage and computing. However, there are many other opportunities that cloud technologies offer with cloud computing. Currently, cloud computing technologies are becoming increasingly popular. The advantages of this technology are obvious: economy, speed, elasticity, versatility of access. In the future, their use will create a powerful information and telecommunications system, which will be a technological solution for the construction and development of new infrastructure in the country. The world’s largest IT vendors (Microsoft, Amazon, Google and others) somehow implement cloud computing services, providing a wide range of opportunities for users. Thus, cloud computing is software and hardware that is available to the user via the Internet (or local network) in the form of a service that allows you to use a user-friendly web interface for remote access to dedicated resources (computing resources, programs and data). Thus, cloud computing is the next stage of information development of mankind.

Successful operation of modern banking institutions significantly depends on the use of the latest information and communication technologies in process management, from motivation and communication with staff, to remote control of banking operations. Purpose of scientific research is a study of the principles and features of banking automated information system in terms of implementation of the latest information and cloud technologies by banking institutions. The object of scientific research is banking automated information system of banking institutions. The result of the article: research proved that the creation and selection of banking automated information system of banking institution is based on the planning of all systems related to the functioning of the complete infrastructure of the bank, built on information technology; the causes and consequences of various risk situations by channels of their occurrence (information Web-site, e-mail, network systems, system failures, electronic payment systems and data transmission systems, electronic channel) in the banking sector as a result of using a bank automated information system are substantiated; key areas of banking automated information system and the elements of the system of risk situations that arise in the banking sector as a result of the use of banking automated information system are described; main requirements for information support of banking institution and the main criteria for choosing banking automated information system of a banking institution are identified. Practical implications: priority ways of overcoming the risks of introduction of banking automated information system are offered, taking into account the scope and spread of risks. At the same time, the methods of providing cloud services used by banking institutions were evaluated. Value/originality: the introduction of a banking automated information system of a banking institution today is impossible without the use of cloud technologies (infrastructure as a service – IaaS, software as a service – SaaS, platform as a service – PaaS), each of which has a number of strengths and weaknesses.

The cloud services offered by Google and Microsoft that libraries can use in their activities are characterized. Abstract. The modern world is in the phase of active implementation of digitalization of most processes, including cloud technologies, which is also associated with the introduction of quarantine measures in most countries. Over the past decade, the average annual growth of the cloud services market has expanded by about 50% to more than $ 220 billion. This figure is projected to exceed $ 500 billion in the near future. Currently, a large number of cloud service companies are concentrated in the market. All companies can be classified into national, operating within one country, and international, operating in many countries simultaneously. In Ukraine, the leader is the high-tech company De Novo, which provides services in the segment of corporate clients based on VMware, EMC, Microsoft Azure solutions. Competitors are well-known foreign IT giants, namely: Oracle, IBM, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, HP and others. The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine plays an important role in this area. The latter signed an agreement with Microsoft to implement the Azure Expansion Program and accelerate Ukraine's digital transformation, including the development of Azure cloud services for the sum of more than $ 500 million. The transition from physical, outdated IT technologies to new cloud services will allow companies to significantly reduce the cost of maintaining their own staff of IT professionals and engineers, reduce dependence on IT equipment suppliers and increase productivity and efficiency of the decisions made. The management of the enterprise can choose one of the offered models from the companies-providers: IaaS, PaaS, SaaS. The choice will depend on the immediate management needs and financial capabilities of the enterprise. In Ukraine, the biggest share of users of cloud services belongs to large utility companies and state enterprises, namely: Dija, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Kyiv Municipal Enterprise "Informatics", Prozorro, Ukrposhta, E-Health (National Health Center of Ukraine), Naftogaz and several other organizations. Thus, the introduction of cloud services involves digital business transformations, namely: optimization of business processes, acceleration of innovation, cost reduction and so on. The article deals with the problems of the organization of the educational environment of higher educational institutions. The purpose of the article is to determine cloud computing as the most effective means of forming a unified educational environment of the university, providing a reliable organization of the educational process in the field of providing educational services in the “one window” mode in various social, political and economic conditions. Based on the analysis of modern platforms for organizing the educational environment and based on current trends in the IT market, Cloud Computing is currently one of the most promising areas. The article defines the essence of cloud computing, which is to provide hosting users with remote access to services, computing resources and applications over the Internet. Examples of the use of cloud technologies in the public sector and education are given. The main types of services provided by the Russian cloud services market (Saas and Iaas) are described. The implementation of the” National Cloud Platform O7″, developed by Rostelecom, is discussed in more detail. The advantages of organizing the educational environment with the help of cloud technologies are considered. Stand out. characteristic features of the Cloud Computing concept, various types of clouds are considered, their advantages and disadvantages. The organization of a unified educational environment of a higher educational institution through cloud computing is a promising direction that allows achieving high technological efficiency: while reducing the cost of purchasing special software and hardware, the quality and efficiency of the educational process in the conditions of digitalization of the economy significantly improves, and it also becomes possible to provide educational services in the “one window” mode, which is a priority of the Government of the Russian Federation.

Cloud-based technologies play a significant role in the technology-enhanced learning domain. The adoption of cloud technologies in the educational environment has a positive impact on the learning process by offering new tools and services to improve and support the learning life cycle, including interactivity. In specific fields, such as clinical skills training, that involve computer-intensive training scenarios, there is an increased demand to deliver training services to a larger number of learners, therefore the need for cloud services. However, to date there has been a lack of a formalized framework relating to the use of cloud computing for on-demand interactive e-training resources. Digital preservation is the consistent archiving of electronic assets for entry and re-use, regardless of the system and computer software options. The introduction of cloud technologies provides a stylish alternative, although preservation systems possess a solid focus on grids. Electronic preservation has turned cloud computing into the primary demand. Cloud services' use continues to rise, however many do not know how several and which cloud services is or not authorized and how they are really in use across their businesses. This kind of incomplete image of the Cloud Services in an organization prevent its capacity to satisfactorily address the hazards related to cloud solutions, including information protection, consumer privacy, dependability of essential business processes, and compliance hazards. Tycoons' involvement is necessary to shift businesses toward better cloud support knowledge as well as a trusted, structured, and foreseeable method of cloud use.

Cloud robotics is an emerging field which enables the web enabled robots to access the cloud services on the fly. Cloud Robotics was born by merging robotics with the cloud technologies. The robot intelligence is no more in the robot itself but remotely executed on the cloud. Robot acts as thin-client. There are several frameworks already in development and still growing. With the help of high speed networks using 4G/5G technologies, offloading of computation and storage in cloud is the further step in robotic evolution. This chapter deals the exploration of cloud robotics with its architecture, applications and existing frameworks. Also, existing research carried out is summarized in this chapter. The future challenges are discussed to foresee the opportunities in cloud robotics. It aims for the complete study on how robots leverages the cloud computing.

The use of information technology is an essential part of law enforcement activity. Cloud technology is widely widespread in our life. Unfortunately, it should be noted that this technology is not widespread in the activities of investigators during the pre-trial investigation of criminal offenses. Therefore, in this article the author focuses on the possibilities of using cloud technologies in law enforcement, as well as on the distinctive features of this technology. In addition, the author has conducted a study in the context of the possibility of obtaining information from the Internet using cloud technologies during pre-trial investigation of criminal offenses. Ways of obtaining information from the Internet using cloud technologies during the pre-trial investigation are studied and criminal procedural means of obtaining such information during the pre-trial investigation are identified. The problems of using cloud technology by the investigator are described in the article. The positive aspects of replacing traditional personal computers with cloud services are identified. The history of the development of cloud technologies is described. The models of cloud technologies and their importance in the activities of the investigator are analysed. The author has investigated the features of using virtual computers in Amazon Web Services during the pre-trial investigation. The possibility of using software product such as Microsoft Office 365 by the investigator is described.
