This study aimed to reveal the degree of the social worker’s use of the counseling interview skills and its relationship to gender, experience, specialization and educational qualification variables. To achieve the goal of the study, the researcher used the descriptive approach and a tool was developed to measure the counseling interview skills consisting of (66) paragraphs. The consistency and reliability of the tool were measured and reached (0.86). The sample of the study consisted of (134) male and females social workers from Al-Dakhiliya Governorate schools in the Sultanate of Oman, which formed study population. The results of the study showed that social workers use the majority of the counseling interview skills and indicated that there are no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α≤0.05) in the degree of social workers' use of counseling interview skills attributable to study variables. The study results also indicated that the social workers use the interaction domain in a high degree, while they use the action and the reaction domain with a moderate degree. In addition to that, it indicated that the most used skills by social workers are the skills of suggestion, recitation of phrases, clarification.

The system of government that practiced in many countries today tend to experience the changes. Some countries have special characteristics of its own in the event of the existence of the country. Characteristic of the country one is to have a system of government. This article is the result of the study the theoretical concept about the classification system of government that until now still practiced in various countries. Study method using the methods of the study of literature with descriptive approach. Study results showed that in the classification of the system of government is currently consists of the parliamentary system, presidential, mixture and a referendum. The system of government to be one of the determining factors in the sustainability of the statehood. On the other the government will run effectively and normal where the old system that is selected and used in accordance with the social political conditions character state.

The study aimed to:  - Identifying with the degree of The practice of heads educational management for type of transference leadership from the views of supervisors. - Acquaintance with the level of job satisfaction of educational supervisors in Afif Educational management. - Recognizing the statistical significance relation between the practice of heads educational management degrees' in Afif Educational management for the style of transference leadership and job satisfaction of educational Study Methodology: The researcher used the descriptive method (survey ) & descriptive method (Correlative) Study Population and Sample: The study population consists of all heads educational department and educational supervisor whether they are mails or females in Educational Management of AFIF. Study Tool: The researcher built tow questionnaires, the first questionnaire to measure using of the transference leadership and it consist of two parts one is personal information anther is phrases for measuring the practice of heads educational management degrees' in Afif Educational management from the points of view of educational supervisors , also it contain forth transference leadership diminutions( typical effective, mental- excitation, personal considerations, accusatory motivation) in (39) sentences. The second questionnaire to measure the level of educational supervisors' job satisfaction in (28) sentences. Moreover, the researcher used the fifth Grading scale to measure the responses of study sample. Study Results: the results of the study can firmed the following: - The overall average of total to the degree of transference leadership applying for Heads Department (4,10) , so this is the mean between fourth category which indicated to high degree. - The general average of the responses of the study sample at the axis of educational supervisors job satisfaction for in Educational management in AFIF that is mean (3,85 over 5) indicated to (high) degree of study tool. The results proved that there is connective, direct, strong relation & statistical function at (0,01) between the practice of heads educational management degrees' in Afif Educational management for the style of transference leadership and job satisfaction of educational. Also, the result show that connective the relation between general degree of the measure of transference leadership and general degree of the measure of job satisfaction is (0,56) , so it is positive direct relation. Study Recommendations: - Encouraging and training the Heads of educational management to be attention in knowing the weakness points about their work which is hinder the transference leadership practice. - Caring of training and qualifying staff who have primitive readiness for having transference leadership properties and characters. - Necessity of hold periodical specialist courses to create leaders and trine them about modern administrative styles that make job satisfaction for personnel.

The purpose of this study was to investigate effectiveness of female administration in the Administrative Empowerment at Hail University branches and its impediments, from the point of view of the faculty members. The researcher used the descriptive analytical approach. The questionnaire was the tool of study and the study sample consisted of (53) of female faculty members at Hail University branches during the first semester 2018- 2019. The results of this study found that the overall degree of administrative empowerment was obtained at a general average (3.93) i.e. high degree and at the dimensional level. Indeed, the work team term was in the first rank with an average of 4.09, and then it comes the delegation of authority with an average of (3.89). The communication term comes at the third level with an average of (3.88) and in the last rank, it comes the motivation of the staff with an average of (3.86) and all of them with a rating of (high). As regard the obstacles in the women administration, the administrative impediments obtained the first rank with an average of (3.87) followed by the personal constraints with an average of (3.76), and then the political impediments with an average of (3.47), and finally the social obstacles with an average of (2.61). For instance, the study showed that there were no significant differences due to the impact of experience years and the impact of scientific qualification. There were some recommendations according to the study results, which were to increase the effectiveness of faculty members and remove obstacles facing them.


This study aimed at identifying the effect of alternative assessment on academic achievement, from the viewpoint of teachers in elementary schools in Gaza. To achieve the study objectives, a questionnaire developed consisting of 21 items then reliability and validity were calculated, the study population consisted of 120 teachers. The study sample consisted of 92 teachers, selected in a stratified random method, where the total of 87 valid statistical analyzes retrieved by 94.56%. The results of the study showed: The perceptions of the members of the study sample to the alternative assessment came to a high degree, the academic achievement from teachers in the basic schools in the Gaza Strip came at the macro level at a high level, and there is a statistically significant effect at the level of significance (α<=0.05) of alternative assessment on academic achievement. In light of the results, a set of recommendations were proposed, including The Directorate of Education in the Gaza Strip should be concerned with the adoption of alternative assessment methods in its affiliated schools, because of the importance of alternative assessment in improving the level of academic achievement of students

This quantitative study discussed the role of initiatives management in improving the work efficiency of the employees of the Methanol Company in the Dhofar Governorate in the Sultanate of Oman. The problem emerged that some Omani institutions suffered from administrative and economic crises as a result of fluctuations in oil prices, the absence of scientific bases adopted in the selection and appointment of people to jobs, and the absence of criteria for evaluating achievement and results. Therefore, the study aimed to; Diagnosing the level of initiatives management at the Methanol Company in the Dhofar Governorate, and the level of improving the company's work efficiency The study adopted the descriptive analytical approach, and the study population consisted of all employees of the Salalah Methanol Company in the Governorate of Dhofar, who numbered (160) employees. A random sample of (113) employees was selected according to the table of Gresty and Morgan (1970). The researcher designed a questionnaire by making use of the theoretical literature. It consisted of (48) phrases distributed in (8) axes. The following statistical methods were adopted: descriptive analysis, Pearson correlation coefficient, alpha consistency coefficient, T-test for two independent samples, one-way analysis of variance, multiple regression analysis, Scheffe test for dimensional comparisons. The research found a set of results, including: There is a direct relationship between initiatives management and improving work efficiency. There is a statistically significant effect at the level of significance (a ≤ 0.05) between managing initiatives and improving work efficiency. There were no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (a ≤ 0.05) about managing initiatives and improving work efficiency due to demographic variables.

This study aims to find out the relationship between psychological security and national affiliation among of students for Al-Quds Open University. Also, it aims to identify some study variables like (gender, specialization and place of residence(. For achieving the study purpose, a questionnaire consists of (53) items distributed on two domains of psychological security with three axis of (life satisfaction, psychological ease and social stability) and national affiliation has been developed, distributed among (360) individuals who have been randomly cluster sample, gathered, codified, entered the computer and statically processed by using the Statistical Package of the Social Science (SPSS). Also, the study tool has been measured for reliability and credibility. The study results showed that there are positive significant relationship between psychological security and national affiliation among of students at Al-Quds Open University. Also, the results revealed moderate degree of responses on the total degree of psychological security and (life satisfaction, psychological ease and social stability) . In the same token, moderate degree of responses has been revealed on the total degree of national affiliation among of students at Al-Quds Open University. Moreover, the results showed that there are no significant differences at (α=0.05) level among the responses means about psychological security attributed to the variables of gender, specialization and place of residence and no significant differences at (α=0.05) level among the responses means about national affiliation attributed to the variables of gender, and place.

This study aims to investigate the role of NGOs in motivating youths to volunteer work in the Sultanate of Oman. Also it analyzes the social and economic returns of youths’ volunteer work in civic societies and the facilities offered to them and the laws and regulations governing the work of volunteer in those societies. Qualitative approach used through collecting data from 90 interviewees represented of 85% of total population. Their responses were coded using (NVivo) program. The study result showed that there are 566 codes. Those codes were analyzed and showed that the social returns of youth volunteers provides more opportunities to them in developing their skills and socially empowering them through their participation in workshops conducted by those societies. Where the Governorate of Muscat coded higher percentage compare with the South Batinah and South Sharqiay Governorates. As for the economic returns, the results showed that it is still at low level. The study results showed there are other returns are linked to the development of society and groups related to the elderly and children. In accordance to facilities provided for youths volunteers where Dhofar governorate shows the highest percentage compared to other governorates. The study result also shows that there is a need for legislation to regulate voluntary work and preserve the rights of volunteers to ensure the continuity of youth’s participations in volunteer work. Upon the study results, many recommendations and suggestions were proposed.

Abstrak Tulisan ini mencoba mengungkapkan realitas keberagaman sosial di Indonesia dengan segala problematika dan upaya perawatannya. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif, yaitu mendeskripsikan hasil penelitian sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian dan diikuti oleh analisis data untuk mendapat data yang relevan dan akurat. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif-analitis, tulisan ini mengkaji suatu perspektif al-Qur’an melalui ayat-ayat-nya tentang konsep satu pola mewujudkan moderasi hidup beragama melalui penguatan pada segi teologis hubungan muslim non-muslim dan pemahaman agama yang pluralis dan inklusif untuk mendukung upaya mewujudkan sikap keterbukaan dan toleran. Dengan demikian, aspek toleransi mempunyai peran penting dari kerja sama pemerintah dan para tokoh agama untuk mendukung akselerasi dari makna dan substansi toleransi yang ditransformasikan ke dalam kehidupan sosial kemasyarakatan, sehingga konflik secara horizontal dapat dihindarkan dengan pola hidup yang moderat. Kata Kunci: Moderasi, Ekstremisme, Liberalisme, Toleransi, Inklusif   Abstract This study aims to reveal the social diversity reality in Indonesia with all its problems and solutions. The method in this research is used the qualitative method with a descriptive approach to describe the study results in accordance with the study objectives then followed by data analysis to obtain an appropriate and accurate research findings. With a qualitative-descriptive-analytical approach, this study examines the Qur’an perspective through its verses on the concept of a pattern for embodying the religious life moderation in order to promote unity of the nation and state through the strengthening theological aspects of Muslim and non-Muslim relations as well as pluralistic and inclusive understandings in accepting openness and tolerance. Tolerance has an important role of cooperation between the government and religious leaders to accelerate the tolerance implementation that is transformed into social life avoiding horizontal conflict in a moderate manner. This research aimed to determine the training needs of female Qur'an teachers in Sultanate of Oman which are about the teaching skills and the impact of governorate's variable (workplace) on the training needs of female Qur'an teachers in Sultanate of Oman. The descriptive approach is used in this research. The researcher developed the research's instrument which contains 50 variables that represent the training skills in 10 dimensions. The constancy of the instrument was confirmed for the internal consistency based on the Cronbach's alpha and the correlation coefficient showed that the measure has a high degree of structural honesty after the instrument was presented to a group of arbitrators. The sample consists of all female Qur'an teachers in Sultanate of Oman which was distributed randomly to 249 of them. Through using the SPSS, the results show that the level of training needs in its overall average gets 3.53 which estimated to be (high), and at the level of other fields, the averages ranged between 3.71 – 3.04 with ratings between (large-medium). The results showed statistically significant differences in the variable of the workplace (Governorate) regarding the training needs for the female Qur'an teachers in Sultanate of Oman, in favor of the governorates with the lowest averages as follows: Musandam Governorate, then Al Dhahira Governorate and at last Muscat Governorate. Based on the results, a number of recommendations and proposals were made to provide the most important training needs of teachers, design, and implementation of training programs according to needs, as well as proposals for further studies to complement the topic.

The study aimed to identify the reason why females tend to perform plastic surgeries for cosmetic purposes and to identify the social and economic characteristics of the study sample. The study population included females who had at least one cosmetic surgery in Amman. The qualitative approach was used in this study. The study results were based on the following: an effect on the psychological factor, age, scientific and technological development which led to low risk, Media, and means of communication. Social, stereotypical society, friends, relatives and the surrounding environment in increasing the turnout of girls and their orientation towards cosmetic surgery, while there was no trace of each resemblance to a certain figure and the job title to guide the young and attract them to perform beautification.The study also recommended the following: create programs about the risks of plastic surgeries to raise awareness among people, further studies on plastic surgery, as there is a lack of Arabic sources, research and studies on this subject, as there are no statistics for plastic surgeries in Jordan.
