The newly published English textbooks for Iranian students have been developed and distributed by the ministry of education of the Islamic Republic of Iran since 2012 and in this article, the researchers intend to represent the findings of a textbook evaluation over the series. This newly introduced series titled “Prospect” includes three consecutive textbooks Prospect 1 to 3 designed for grades 7th to 9th of junior high school. This series is a critical turning point from various content and methodological aspects mostly due to a paradigm shift from GTM to communicative approach. The main aim of this paper is to evaluate the English Textbook "Prospect” series from teachers’ point of view and represent experts' recommendations to help the material developers in improving the series. The data of this research is gathered from English teachers working in junior high school level and the population of the research included male and female teachers teaching in capital city of Tehran. The researchers developed a questioner and distributed it among a sample of 100 English teachers (50 male and 50 female teachers). The findings of the research showed that “Prospect” series is evaluated very poor in field of shape and printing quality. Teachers believed that the main pitfall of the books is lacking high quality illustrations which foster students learning. Although many teachers and practitioners participating in the research have found the new series a considerable step forward, it seems that the series faces some serious shortcomings.

The overall aim of this work is to provide some guidelines for the design of tele-presence systems from a human factors point of view. Developers of such human-machine systems face at least two major problems: There are hardly any standard input devices, and guiding design principles are almost missing. Further, most often telepresence systems should enable both a high degree of performance and a high sensation of presence, and yet the relationship between these two variables is still a subject of research. To cope with some of the problems, two experimental studies are presented. Each focuses on a different aspect of interface design, which is of widespread interest in the field of telepresence systems. The first is related to the control of multiple degrees of freedom and the second refers to bimanual input control. Beyond this work, a meta-analytical study is presented to describe the relationship between presence and performance more precisely. Certainly there are more issues that have to be studied (e.g., perceptual aspects) to guide the design of telepresence systems. To provide a framework for these and further human factor aspects, a computer based design guide is suggested at the end. This tool addresses system developers and assists in realizing new interfaces more effectively.

The present study aimed to reveal the challenges that face female teachers in the second field in applying one of the techniques of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (augmented reality). The study included teachers in the second field of schools in the South Sharqiyah Governorate, and the study relied on the descriptive survey approach in obtaining information, and the questionnaire was used as a tool to collect data using Google Forms. The study sample, which was chosen randomly, consisted of 196 teachers. The results of the study showed the existence of organizational challenges. On the other hand, the material and technical challenges came with a very high degree to apply (augmented reality) technology. In light of the results, the study recommends the need to guide the teacher using Techniques of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (Augmented Reality) by building curricula that support the employment of technology, preparing schools with devices and the Internet to keep pace with modern technologies, and developing the performance of second field teachers by attaching They are taking intensive training courses on the techniques of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (Augmented Reality).

The study recommends that holding training sessions and works shops for the principals and teachers on the importance of extra curriculum activities to take care of like other curricula because these activities help improving students’ educational achievement. Also، there should be an educational guide special for the extra curriculum activities based on the participation of the activities organizers and the advisors’ department and the activities department with a clear way of application and obvious and comprehensive plan for all schools.
