The article reveals the author’s approach to the content of social leadership in the context of the development of a digital society at various levels – societal, institutional and concrete social. The author analyses the correlation between the concepts of “social leadership” and authority in the sphere of national and military security. Based on the author’s sociological research, the paper analyses the self-assessment of young people of their leadership qualities, authority and social influence on other people in accord- ance with their status in social networks. The study describes the social types based on the model of leadership and integration into the Russian civilizational space, the values of the Russian society. The paper substantiates the proposals to take into account the leadership qualities of social network administrators, moderators of information flows in the formation of the human potential of specialists in the development of digital platforms and global Internet content in the Russian segment of the virtual space, as well as the establishment of partnerships between national and military security actors and business structures of the digital economy, software developers, producers of Internet content. Separately, the author highlights the conditions for the formation of leadership positions of subjects of information and analytical work based on digital technologies to ensure national and military security. The study presents the author`s justification of the levels and content of digital information and analytical competencies of personnel in the system of ensuring national and military security, which will allow Russia to ensure technological social leadership in this area. The article reveals practical methods of organizing the educational process for training specialists in the field of digital information and analytical technologies, the possibility of using virtual educational means of training and control, Internet resources, and improving the security of the educational process in military educational organizations from negative hostile influences.

The article is devoted to the study of the worldviews and social contradictions in Russian society on the example of two different positions on the relationship between religion and science. According to one of these positions these relationships are defined as conflict. The second, opposing point of view says there never was and there cannot be any conflict between religion and science. In the publication such points are called “the paradigm of conflict” and “the paradigm of dialogue”. It shows, the first “paradigm” in the Soviet period of Russian history was determined by ideologization of science and was an important part of anti-religious propaganda. On the contrary, “the paradigm of dialogue” has always been represented primarily by religious thinkers. Today it is the official position of the Russian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate. The official Church document “The Basis of the Social Concept” says religion and science are designed to complement each other, especially in solving ethical problems that inevitably arise in the face of modern science. However, secular scientists often see in such statements the Church’s claims to active participation in the public life, including the educational process. Representatives of the academic community often speak out against the introduction of the theological educational programs and the theological departments in secular Universities of the Russian Federation. Thus, in contemporary Russian society some continue to believe that there is a conflict between religion and science, while others insist on the need for dialogue.

Current data storage technologies cannot keep pace longer with exponentially growing amounts of data through the extensive use of social networking photos and media, etc. The "digital world” with 4.4 zettabytes in 2013 has predicted it to reach 44 zettabytes by 2020. From the past 30 years, scientists and researchers have been trying to develop a robust way of storing data on a medium which is dense and ever-lasting and found DNA as the most promising storage medium. Unlike existing storage devices, DNA requires no maintenance, except the need to store at a cool and dark place. DNA has a small size with high density; just 1 gram of dry DNA can store about 455 exabytes of data. DNA stores the informations using four bases, viz., A, T, G, and C, while CDs, hard disks and other devices stores the information using 0’s and 1’s on the spiral tracks. In the DNA based storage, after binarization of digital file into the binary codes, encoding and decoding are important steps in DNA based storage system. Once the digital file is encoded, the next step is to synthesize arbitrary single-strand DNA sequences and that can be stored in the deep freeze until use.When there is a need for information to be recovered, it can be done using DNA sequencing. New generation sequencing (NGS) capable of producing sequences with very high throughput at a much lower cost about less than 0.1 USD for one MB of data than the first sequencing technologies. Post-sequencing processing includes alignment of all reads using multiple sequence alignment (MSA) algorithms to obtain different consensus sequences. The consensus sequence is decoded as the reversal of the encoding process. Most prior DNA data storage efforts sequenced and decoded the entire amount of stored digital information with no random access, but nowadays it has become possible to extract selective files (e.g., retrieving only required image from a collection) from a DNA pool using PCR-based random access. Various scientists successfully stored up to 110 zettabytes data in one gram of DNA. In the future, with an efficient encoding, error corrections, cheaper DNA synthesis,and sequencing, DNA based storage will become a practical solution for storage of exponentially growing digital data.

The modernization of higher education is mandatory condition for the current stage of Russian society development and the ensuring of the Russian economy competitiveness. One of the priority issues of modernization is the strengthening of the significance of self-students studying. This is due primarily to the considerable reduction in the number of classroom sessions and the increase in hours provided for self-students studying. Self-studying becomes the basis for the professional development of a bachelor, encourage his cognitive interests, promotes the essential objectives of the training, that is, the formation of communicative and professional competences. The nature of the relationship between the teacher and the bachelor alters within the framework of competence-oriented education. The teacher, released from the mere transfer of knowledge, gets freedom in choosing forms of interaction or rather in choosing the methods used in such field of studying as “Foreign Language”. Classical teaching methods are replaced with new ones. The emergence of information and communication technologies led to their rapid introduction into the educational process. The organization of self-students studying through the use of information and communication technologies is of great interest to many educational specialists. The specific nature of information and communication technologies lies in the creation in the educational process of various kinds of relations and conditions of real life, requiring from bachelors not only the knowledge of work-related material, but also their familiarization with a given image, a holistic immersion in the professional environment. The use of simulation technology facilitates the formation of cognitive-search activity of bachelors, causes incentive for learning a foreign language.

The development of new directions in both sports, physical education, and in the field of physical education teaching is an urgent and popular direction in modern pedagogy. This direction is aimed at fulfilling the tasks facing higher education, as well as at implementing state programs to promote the health of the nation. At the present stage of the development of education and science, it is important that state programs are combined with the requirements of Russian society, therefore teachers and methodologists are paying more and more attention to such a direction of health policy as yoga. The scientific and pedagogical study of yoga as an element of sports education is currently at the initial stage. Therefore, the information presented in the paper is of a unique nature: on the basis of a pedagogical experiment, the first conclusions were made about yoga elements integration into physical education and sports education in the new federal standard. The authors conclusions relate both to methods of solving the problem of motivating students in physical education, and to determining a set of universal competencies that it is advisable to form during the introduction of a new academic discipline based on yoga gymnastics into higher education. The paper emphasizes that the success of this task depends on the integration of the efforts of the state, higher education and fitness centers, which should become the basis for students to practice. The results of the experiment in the control and experimental groups of students give reason to predict that the wider use of yoga gymnastics in the educational process will significantly increase the effectiveness of physical education, as well as will also make graduates more competitive on the labor market.

Purpose. The aim of the article is to clarify the various approaches to the interpretation of the essence and significance of human capital for the development of a modern theoretical basis for human capital development in the economy. Methodology of research. The theoretical and methodological bases of the study are the fundamental provisions of modern economic theory, research of domestic and foreign scientists. Systemic, process, historical and logical approaches were used to achieve the goal and defined tasks. General scientific methods were used in the process of research: comparison – in determining the differences in the interpretation of the essence of human capital by different scientists; analysis – in determining the quantitative and qualitative parameters of human capital; synthesis – in determining the components of the structure of human capital, which are the objects of management and measurement and the system of indicators, which are the objects of management of its structure; induction and deduction – in determining approaches to the essence of human capital and aspecting the components of the structure of human capital. Also special methods of economic research were used: grouping – in determining aspects of the components of the structure of human capital and their effectiveness, indicators of human capital; tabular and graphic – when systematizing the components of the structure and indicators of human capital, aspectization of human capital; analysis at the macroeconomic level - in determining trends in the concept of human capital. Findings. As a result of studying of human capital it is established that: human capital is the ability to bring benefits (correlated with the concept of "labour"); human capital is a stock (correlated with the concept of "asset" which is temporarily not used); human capital is a resource (correlated with the concept of "asset" which is used); human capital is a potential (correlated with the concept of "asset" which can be used to a limited extent based on the used set of potential capacity or sources of potential capacity); human capital is a source of income (correlated with the amount of income); human capital is a special form of capital (acts in the form of interaction of needs and abilities of the subject); human capital is a form of realization of economic relations. Originality. Theoretical provisions on the essence of human capital as an economic category were clarified, in which human capital is the carrier of systemic relations of the reproductive process of society Namely, system-component approach in the interpretation of the "human capital" term was substantiated, which, in contrast to the existing approach, defines the composition and aspects of component structure of human capital, which reveals the internal organization of human capital and the relationship of its constituent components, i.e. those that were obtained biologically, those that were obtained in society, those that formed the carrier of human capital as the main element of the productive forces. Practical value. The practical significance lies in increased scientific reasoning of theoretical provisions and practical measures to ensure the mechanism of state regulation of the reproduction of human capital in accordance with the transformational changes in social relations and market conditions, as well as globalization processes. The author's proposals can be used by the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, in developing strategies and concepts of social development of countries, or by the Ministry of Economics, in developing economic and social development projects of Ukraine, educational process of higher education institutions of Ukraine. In Ramadan, kiai in various pondok pesantren (Indonesian Islamic Boarding Schools) conduct lecturing activities known as "Ngaji Pasanan". This tradition has been going on for a long time ago till today. However, since 2017 up to now, it has been seen to be held by taking advantage of digital information technology through live streaming via Facebook, YouTube or other media platforms. In 2020, online “Ngaji Pasanan” has become a trend nationwide. This study aims to reveal the context of the online “Ngaji Pasanan phenomenon, which is carried out by the ulama' in pondok pesantren, by taking two samples, namely K.H. Mustofa Bisri and K.H. Said Aqil Siradj. Data collection and analysis used a netnographic approach. This study found that: First, Ngaji Pasanan of the two traditional Ulama' who used digital media were actually conducted offline, but were mediated by the internet and broadcast online. Second, through the online “Ngaji Pasanan”, the two traditional Ulama' not only convey the teachings in the kitab kuning but also contextualize them into socio-religious issues within the digital world, beside they also produce religious discourses and actual nationalities that are being debated by the public, whether in the online or offline context. Third, the presence of traditional Ulama' in the digital space, on the other hand, has been used by netizens to support their opinions by framing their positions on controversial religious and political issues. Fourth, the presence of traditional ulama' in the digital space is more driven by their insistence on addressing the flow of religious and national discourse in the digital space compared to their affirmation of the use of digital technology to carry out the academic tradition of pondok pesantren in Ramadan, namely "Ngaji Pasanan".


The rapid development of the Internet has had an unprecedented impact on the improvement of the sociological method. At the turn of the millennium, this has led to the search for a new methodology and a gradual loss of interest to use of quantitative methods, which was perceived by specialists as a "crisis of empirical sociology". In the last decade, it turned out that almost all social processes of any level find their reflection in the virtual space, leave and accumulate so-called "digital footprints", which opens to researchers the widest perspectives for study of social reality. This article considers the features of digital primary information and generalized approaches to its use in terms of quantitative methodology. The author emphasizes that the classical sociological methods, which are based on mathematical statistics, are suitable for the analysis of digital reality and getting adequate research results. At the same time, as noted by most authors, who have studied this subject, there are perspectives for improving traditional sociological methods through: 1) a combination of representativeness of quantitative and depth of qualitative approaches to information analysis; 2) in-depth collection of paradata; 3) opportunities to study hard-to-reach social groups; 4) opportunities to fully implement the "principle of freedom from evaluation" due to the "non-reactivity" of digital data; 5) the ordering of digital footprints in space and time by clearly fixing the hosting. The post-demographic model of the social actor opens new ways to build samples of quantitative sociological research, which may be representative in terms of the classical sociological approach. The examples of research from this article show that the classical sociological method easily to adapt for the new digital reality and can be the basis for sociological consulting, development of social technologies in various spheres of social life.

<p>With the current exponential growth in the sector of Spatial Data Technology and Mixed Reality display devises we experience an increasing overlap of the physical and digital world. Next to making data spatially visible the attempt is to connect digital information with physical properties. Over the past years a number of research institutions have been laying the ground for these developments. In contemporary architecture architectural design the dominant application of data technology is connected to graphical presentation, form finding and digital fabrication.<br />The <em>arc/sec Lab for Digital Spatial Operations </em>at the University of Auckland takes a further step. The Lab explores concepts for a new condition of buildings and urban patterns in which digital information is connected with spatial appearance and linked to material properties. The approach focuses on the step beyond digital re-presentation and digital fabrication, where data is re-connected to the multi-sensory human perceptions and physical skills. The work at the Lab is conducted in a cross disciplinary design environment and based on experiential investigations. The arc/sec Lab utilizes large-scale interactive installations as the driving vehicle for the exploration and communication of new dimensions in architectural space. The experiments are aiming to make data “touchable” and to demonstrate real time responsive environments. In parallel they are the starting point for both the development of practice oriented applications and speculation on how our cities and buildings might change in the future.<br />The article gives an overview of the current experiments being undertaken at the arc/sec Lab. It discusses how digital technologies allow for innovation between the disciplines by introducing real time adaptive behaviours to our build environment and it speculates on the type of spaces we can construct when <em>digital matter </em>is used as a new dynamic building material.</p>

This article examines the formation of institutional characteristics of pension investment of the Russian society. The goal lies in substantiation of feasibility of application of the institutional approach to relatively new elements of the Russian pension system &ndash; pension investment and formation of pension capital. The author observes the current social inquiry for the development of institutional practices of pension investment. The process of establishment of the institution of pension investment entail the manifestation of such aspects as: sources of the formation of institutions, sustainability, absence of violent fluctuations, share of the institutional norms by all its members, etc. Using the method of standardized mass survey within the framework of quantitative paradigm, the author carried out the applied sociological research, which involved the working-age population. The novelty of this work lies in the attempt of institutional determination of the new social institutions: pension investment and pension capital; classification of the &ldquo;pension issue&rdquo; into a separate field of sociological knowledge. The acquired results indicate the emergence of social groups that are ready for sustainable pension investment practices, as well as certain population groups that demonstrate nihilism in this regard. It is stated that the declared institutional approach is relevant to sphere of pension investment; however, the formation of sustainable social entities requires the legitimate conditions for including more extensive groups into the processes of formation of pension capital. The presented materials can be valuable for the dealing with similar social issues, used in lectures on the topic, as well as by government representatives of all levels.
