A baseline survey is very much important to identify the preliminary condition of a certain group or the people of a certain area and/or whole country. A baseline study is one that looks at study characteristics at a particular time or under a particular set of conditions to establish a “base line. The study accounting data of 80 farmers were collected from Bolaierchar and Bagolgor char under Sherpur district and Naovangar char and laxmir char from Jamalpur district for base line survey of upliftment of farmers livelihood and enrichment of environment through improve agroforestry practice in charland ecosystem of Bangladesh project by using Random Sampling Technique method. Data refer to the input output details and other socio-economic characteristics of upliftment of farmers livelihood in the crop year 2017-2018. Random sampling technique has been used for collecting data. The result of the baseline survey showed that out of 80 sample farmers two locations in agroforestry practicing household’s age was categorized at five age groups such as 20-29 years, 30-39 years, 40-49 years, 50-59 and 60-69 years. The sample households were classified into three groups based on their educational level such as; illiterate, can sign and primary and above. The family size was categorized by five categories such as number of member’s 3-5 persons, 6-8 persons, 9-11 persons and 12-14 persons, 15-18 persons. The average annual incomes were categorized into Tk.50000 to Tk.99999, Tk.100000 to Tk.149999, Tk.150000 to Tk.199999, Tk.200000 to Tk.249999 and Tk.250000 to Tk.300000. Total 17 tree species were recorded from the selected farm families of four different char village of Sadar upazila of Jamalpur and Sherpur district (Table 6) of which mango (99%), jackfruit (95%), black berry (26%), guava (22%), lemon (21%) and bamboo (20%) are the dominant tree species. Total 8 different existing agroforestry models were recorded in the studied charland areas. Among these different existing models very common model was Bean and Jiga tree-based agroforestry which was found in only 20% surveyed family.

This study aimed to show that : (1) reading interested of the library’s visitors, (2) utilizing the library by people who visits it, and (3) to attain the improvement of reading interested in the school and public. This studied is descriptive study and the population is the society that using “Layanan Perpustakaan Daerah Propinsi Sumaera Barat” The sampling using “Two Stage Cluster Random Sampling Technique”. The collecting data using questionnaire . The data is analyzed descriptively by using percentage. Based on this study it showed that: (1) the people who visits that library have not yet reading interested optimally toward the collection in the library, and (2) Most of people who visits that library only one day a week.The collection have not utilized yet by people who visits the library.

<p>Learning in schools today still uses the method of lectures and the use of Microsoft office power points. The use of teaching materials is still considered less supportive of historical learning in today's schools. Therefore, interesting and effective teaching materials are required, one of which is sigil application. This research aims to encourage the renewal of teaching materials, especially in historical learning. The approach used in this study is a qualitative method. The population used is grade XI students of IPS SMA N 1 Pacitan school year 2019/2020. The type of sample used is simple random sampling technique. Data collection techniques using polls. Based on the results of the study can be concluded: 1) Moh nationalism. Hatta was a nationalism handed over entirely to the people. 2) sigil application is one of the software applications used to create e- books in Epub format. 3) Historical learning using sigil applications can affect students' nationalism.</p>

The market of subscription-based entertainment services in India has grown in the last few years, due to the changing lifestyle, preferences and the deluge of choices that are there for the customers. There has been a substantial increase in Customer acquisition especially in paid streaming video, music and gaming subscriptions.  People are adding new services to have access to new and diversified content which is more personalized and offer them a more enriching experience. The market for subscription model-based entertainment services in India has seen growing trends and offers an opportunity to understand the consumer preferences better. A trend in Indian customers has shown the preference of streaming services over buying or downloading it. The objective of this paper is to identify the factors influencing the subscribing intention of the entertainment services in India. In this paper, quantitative descriptive cross-sectional research design has been used, a hundred and fifty-four people were chosen through a systematic random sampling technique from different demographics. The people were categorised into different age groups such as Gen-Z (14-23 years), Millennials (24-37 years) and Gen-X (38-54 years) and then their preferences were studied based on their answers in survey questionnaire. Along with age there were other demographic factors that were taken into consideration to draw the conclusions. In general, descriptive results show that the interviewed consumers have subscribed to these channels and the consumer base for these services is here to stay.

The action of proscribing gah failed to stop the activism of this group. The supports from all sectors and the freedom of speech are being used to influence the Muslim Ummah. Critical and rational minds are potentially weapons to influence the people by gah. With that, the purpose of the study is to explore the influence of gah thinking on the Muslim Ummah and way to combating it. A total of 800 Malay Muslims living in the Klang Valley were chosen as respondents in the study selected using simple random sampling technique. Questionnaires were used in the collection of data for the study: Demographic Background, Islamic Religiosity of the Muslim Ummah, the Influence of gah on the Thinking of the Muslim Ummah and Suggestions. All the instruments used in the collection of data developed by the researcher were referred to and validated by a panel of experts. The Cronbach Alpha reliability level of the questionnaire is high (>0.8). Data were analysed descriptively and inferentially using mean, percentage and standard deviation. Overall, the finding of the study showed the influence of the gah thinking on the Muslim Ummah was at a low level. Finally, this study outlined some ideas and suggestions to overcome the problems caused by gah.

A descriptive type of cross-sectional study was conducted in a village Gohordo of Gabtoli Upazila, Bogra to assess the knowledge and awareness of people of age above 18 years and above about "bird flu", its modes of transmission and prevention, by an interviewer administered questionnaire. The questionnaire was pretested and data were collected using purposive sampling technique. In this study it was found that out of 418 people, 231(55.26%) were female and the rest 187 (44.74%) were male. Majority of the respondents 226 (54.06%) were in the age group of 20-40 years, followed by 29.19%, 8.85% and7.89% were in the age groups of 40-60,<20 and above>60 years respectively. More than half; 226 (54.06%) of the people heard the term ‘bird flu'; majority of them (95.13%) as a disease. Among 226, 193(85.39) respondents know that the disease may transmit to human population. But only 32, (30%) people think that this disease is transmitted by keeping infected birds & suspected poultry, followed by 19.02% who think that it transmitted by caring & culling poultry. Among the people who heard the name of the disease,95 (42%) people had no knowledge about the signs and symptoms of the disease and only 20.35% respondents knew poultry carrying people and poultry meat eaters as "susceptible groups" getting infection. About 195 (77.43%) people know that this disease is preventable. About 55.31% and 37.16% people think, partially cooked meat and half boiled egg respectively may spread the disease to man. There is a strong association of literacy with the knowledge of the disease (p<0.05). Service quality is a form of activity undertaken by a company that aims to meet the wants and needs of customers by providing good service. Customer loyalty is a consumer's assessment of the quality of the product or service it receives based on existing expectations in the mind. Loyal customers will always tend to only one brand even though there are many similar brands. Sample in this study amounted to 135 respondents, is the people of Bandung who have or often use online transportation. The sampling technique using simple random sampling. The purpose of this study is to find out the influence of service quality on online transportation customer loyalty. The result obtained shows that service quality influence significantly customer loyalty by 24,1%.

The current study aims to identified and described the differences in the level of public anxiety concerning the COVID-19 pandemic based on age and residential zone and the implications for guidance and counseling. This research used a quantitative approach with a comparative descriptive method. The population in this study were the people of 12 districts/cities in Riau Province with the sampling technique using simple random sampling which obtained a sample of 200 people ranging from adolescence to senior with details of 100 people coming from the red zone and 100 people from the green zone of COVID-19 transmission. The research instrument used a Likert-scale questionnaire on the level of public anxiety. The questionnaire was distributed using the google form and the data collection was conducted start from April until May 2020. The results of this study indicated that: (1) the public's anxiety concerning COVID-19 pandemic categorized as moderate; (2) public anxiety concerning COVID-19 pandemic with the highest percentage emerges in the senior category; (3) there was a significant difference between the level of anxiety of people living in the green zone and the red zone concerning COVID-19. These results can be used as references in making guidance and counseling programs in educational units, counseling organizations, and the government as a foundation for a policy brief in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic.

Background: Inflammation of the conjunctiva due to allergy is known as allergic conjunctiva. It is also seen in the people suffering from allergic rhinitis and is affected by all age groups at least once in their lifetime. But older population and children are more prone for allergic conjunctivitis. Objectives: To evaluate the effect of Aschyotana karma or the therapy with Bilvadi eye drops in the management of Vataja abhishyanda (allergic conjunctivitis). Design: This was an observational study with random sampling. Forty subjects who fulfilled the eligibility criteria were included for the study. Patients with complaints of Allergic Conjunctivitis were selected from OPD of Department of Shalakya Tantra (Netra-Roga), R.G.G.P.G. Ayu. Hospital Paprola, Himachal Pradesh. These patients were administered Bilvadi aschyotana 2 eye drops 4to 5 times for 15 days and were assessed for itching, redness, burning sensation and photophobia before the treatment, on the 3rd day, once in a week and after the treatment.  Results: Aschyotana with Bilvadi eye drops in Vataja abhishyanda provided significant relief in itching 70.09%, redness 41.7%, burning sensation 47.6% and photophobia 53.3%.

The study investigated the role of skills acquisition in resolving the social problems of unemployment in Rivers State. The population of the study consists of all skills acquisition graduates of Rivers State ministry of women affairs, a sample of 50 skills acquisition graduates in the ministry was sampled using stratified random sampling technique. The questionnaire was structured in the likert scale of four (4) points, ranging from strongly agreed to strongly disagreed. The simple percentage statistical tool was employed for data analysis. The result of the findings showed that majority of the people had a positive opinion towards skills acquisition and it was recommended that government should carry out proper sensitization programmes in order to re-orientate the minds of the youths towards skills acquisition programmes.

Abstract: The use of herbs, for health. Herbs are plants that can be used as drugs both leaves, stems, or roots. Herbs is partly used by the community for traditional or alternative medicine. Besides, the herb also has the advantage, that does not have side effects, treatment can be carried out by family members sendiri.Tanaman is an alternative herbal treatment that has been done by the people of Indonesia have traditionally. The successful use of herbal plants is strongly influenced by people's knowledge about the benefits of each type of medicinal plants, especially herbs that have been studied empirically. It is also influenced by how the use of each herb for a variety of different diseases. This study aims to determine the use of herbs for health. This research method is descriptive, with a sample of 53 respondents drawn by simple random sampling technique. The data collection conducted direct interviews with respondents and the open-air observation. Research instrument used was a questionnaire. The result showed that all respondents had been using herbs for health. The conclusion of this study was the use of herbs for health still needs to be improved further by providing the knowledge, awareness, willingness and ability of thecommunity.
