This research aims to describe the Mahakam Ulu District elementary school teachers ability in writing sentence structure of Indonesian language. This research is adescriptive qualitative research. The subject of this study consisted of 20 elementary school teachers in Mahakan Ulu District. The data were collected by surveys. The instrument was in the form of an instruction to make three sentences with structure of: 1) S-P-O; 2) S-P-O-K; 3) K-S-P-O. The data validity was obtained trough triangulation. The results show that the writing ability of teachers in Mahakam Ulu, East Kalimantan is still lacking. This can be seen from the conformity of the sentences produced with the instructions given. The sentences that correspond to the instructions are 36.7%, while the percentage of sentences that do not correspond to the instructions is 63.3%. The instruction is to make sentences with S-P-O, S-P-O-K, and K-S-P-O patterns. Sentences correspond to the S-P-O pattern are 55%, while the percentage of sentences that do not correspond to the S-P-O pattern is 45%. The sentences correspond to the S-P-O-K pattern are 30%, while the sentences that do not correspond to the S-P-O-K pattern are 70%. The sentences correspond to the K-S-P-O pattern are 25%, while the sentences that do not correspond to theK-S-P-O pattern are 75%. Errors made by teachers are: 1) errors in objectfunction; 2) errors in adverbfunction; 3) errors in complementfunction; and 4) errors in punctuations, prepositions, and dictions.Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan kemampuan menulis guru SD Kabupaten Mahakam Ulu dalam menulis struktur kalimat bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitiatif deskriptif. Strategi pengumpulan data menggunakan survei. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri atas 20 orang guru SD Kabupaten Mahakan Ulu. Instrumen penelitian berupa soal. Instrumen soal berupa perintah membuat tiga kalimat dengan struktur: (1) S-P-O; (2) S-P-O-K; (3) K-S-P-O. Keabsahan data diperoleh dengan menggunakan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan menulis guru-guru Mahakam Ulu, Kalimantan Timur masih tergolong kurang. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari kesesuaian kalimat-kalimat yang diproduksi dengan instruksi yang diminta. Kalimat yang sesuai instruksi sebanyak 36,7%, sedangkan persentase kalimat yang tidak sesuai dengan instruksiberjumlah 63,3%. Persentase kesesuaian kalimat dengan pola (1) adalah 55%, sedangkan kalimat yang tidak sesuai dengan pola sebanyak 45%; persentase kesesuaian kalimat yang sesuai dengan pola (2) adalah 30%, sedangkan yang tidak sesuai adalah 70%; persentase kesesuaian kalimat yang sesuai dengan pola (3) berjumlah 25%, sedangkan yang tidak sesuai berjumlah 75%. Kesalahan yang dilakukan para guru meliputi kesalahan fungsi objek, kesalahan fungsi keterangan, kesalahan fungsi pelengkap, dan 4) kesalahan tanda baca, kata depan, dan diksi.

Nature of Science knowledge understanding can be related to natural science conceptual understanding. It is expected that having understanding in nature of science concepts will minimize misconception in science concepts. Therefore, every teacher should understand aspects on nature of science. Because of the importance of nature of science, a research on elementary school teachers’ understanding on nature of science in 4P areas (rural, bordered, coastal, and urban) should be done. This research is aimed to to know the use of View of Nature of Science form B that has been translated and adapted to Bahasa Indonesia. This is qualitative research, in which focusing on evaluating elementary school teachers’ view of nature of science and the use of transadapted VNOS form B questionnaire that has been developed by Lederman and El-Khalick in the USA. Indeed, there are six aspect of Nature of Science that has been measured using VNOS form B. The result shows that most of respondents are naïve in understanding those six NOS aspects.

It was probably not a unique experience, but it sure was fun, and more important, fifteen elementary school teachers improved their skills for teaching mathematics and did away with some anxiety about the subject. While they were about it, these teachers also increased the achievement in mathematics of forty-five elementary school students and showed them that mathematics can be a lot of fun.

Concentration is an important aspect of mastering the material. Especially for students in elementary school. The age that is still very young, active, and enjoying to play, will have difficulty in understanding the subject material when they lack concentration. Understanding lessons at school experiences ease when combined with the game. The concentration game technique training for Muhammadiyah Elementary School teachers in Palangka Raya aims to develop knowledge and skills for teachers to combine games with lessons so that they can produce meaningful learning.

Elementary school teachers are one of the sources of student’s misconceptions, so their understanding needs to be identified. However, the process of identifying the understanding of the concept of science is still small and only on certain materia. This study was aimed to investigate elementary school teacher's understanding of sound concepts. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive type. The research data are sourced from elementary school teachers' answers to questions about the concept of high and low sounds, in the form of a teacher's justification for the statement of questions presented along with the discussion. The population was all grade 4 elementary school teachers in Surakarta (120 teacher), the sample of 30 teachers from public and private elementary schools, the status accreditation A and B, with a purposive random sampling technique. The sample taken consisted of teachers in the age range of 30 to 60 years, 11 male teachers and 19 female teachers, and 50% were certified educators. Data collection techniques are carried out by providing diagnostic tests of misconceptions on the subject of the concept of high and low sounds. Data analysis technique refers to the category of concept understanding formulated by Tuysuz (2009), which is understanding, misconception, not understanding, and guessing. The results showed that in understanding the concept of high and low sounds 1.11% of teachers understood the concept well, 71.11% of teachers did not understand the concept, 26.67% of teachers experienced misconceptions, and 1.11% of teachers guessed.

La siguiente investigación gira entorno al análisis de cómo se establecen las prácticas de inclusión educativa de los docentes del nivel de educación primaria. Bajo un enfoque cualitativo de corte fenomenológico, se dirige hacia la obtención de datos en situaciones reales de cómo los docentes frente a grupo responden a la diversidad de sus aulas. Los resultados presentados son acerca de la revisión documental necesaria para la elaboración de instrumentos como entrevista y guía de observación participante. Abstract The following investigation evolves around the analysis and how inclusive educational practices are established by elementary school teachers. From a phenomenological approach of qualitative research, we directed our attention towards data collection focused on real situations experienced by elementary school teachers during class and how they respond to diversity in the classroom. The results presented refer to the revision of documentation necessary to create instruments such as interviews and participant observation guides.

<p class="Abstract"><strong><em>Abstract.</em></strong><em> This research purposed to increase the reading comprehension skill by using the DRTA strategy on students class V SDN Bibis Wetan student year 2018/2019. The form of this research was Classroom Action Research (CAT) held in two cycles. Everycycle was consist of 4 steps as following planning, action, observe, and reflection. The subject of this research was teacher and students was amounts 36 students. The technique of collecting datas were documentation, observation, interviewing, and test. The datas were analysed by using interactive analysis (Miles and Huberman). The data validity used source triangulation and  technical triangulation. The result of this research, there was an improving the reading comprehension skill after the teacher used DRTA strategy on student.</em></p><p class="Abstract"><strong><em>    Keywords</em></strong><em>: Directed Reading Thingking Activity (DRTA), Reading Comprehension Skill, Elementary School</em></p>

AbstrakJudul pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah Strategi Baca Puisi Bahasa Indonesia dan Inggris bagi Guru-guru dan Siswa di SDN 65 dan Pekanbaru dan 63 Pekanbaru. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman tentang strategi baca puisi Bahasa Inggris dan Bahasa Indonesia.Pelaksanaan baca puisi selama ini belum maksimal oleh kebanyakan pendidik dan juga siswa.. IbM ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru-guru dan siswa sekolah dasar dalam strategi baca puisi kedua bahasa. Metode yang digunakan adalah ceramah dan praktek. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkkan bahwa guru damemperoleh strategi baca puisi bahasa Inggris dan Indnesia.Kata Kunci: Strategi baca puisi, pelatihan, guru dan siswaAbstractThe title of this social services is the Strategy of Reading poetry English and Indonesian for teachers and students of State Elementary School 65 Pekanbaru and State Elementary School 63 Pekanbaru. The purpose of the program is to socialize the use of Strategy which is still not maximally used by most of teachers and students. This program is conducted to increase the abily of elementary school teachers and students in reading poetry. The method used in this program is describing and practice. The result of the program shown that teachers and students understand the program.
