Education of the generation of the nation, especially the younger generation, is one of the things that must be considered in order to improve and develop the Indonesian nation. All parties related to the achievement of educational success must cooperate. Starting from the school, parents, government, or the community. One of the successes of education can be seen from learning achievement. In terms of learning, discipline is one of the factors that must be considered. Based on observations made by researchers at Semarang State High School 15, there are still many students who still violate school rules. Therefore, researchers want to know the effect of discipline on student learning outcomes. The research sample was 60 students from 252 students of class X-IPA. The method of data collection is done by using questionnaires and observations. The results of this study indicate that student discipline on student achievement is very influential and it can be seen that the average student discipline is 3.1 which includes the Very Good (SB) category. The Very Good categorized average is directly proportional to student achievement results with an average of 82.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar matematika melalui pendekatan kontekstual siswa kelas VIII SMPN 1 Hatungun Kabupaten Tapin. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah Penelitian Tindakan kelas dengan dua siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMPN 1 Hatungun Kabupaten Tapin sebanyak 17 orang yang terdiri atas sepuluh orang laki-laki dan tujuh orang perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu tes dan dokumentasi serta hasilnya dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dari siklus I ke siklus II. Hasil lain menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas siswa dalam proses pembelajaran dan aktivitas guru dalam pengelolaan pembelajaran juga kategori baik.   Kata kunci: pendekatan kontekstual, prestasi belajar, matematika. Abstract: This study aims to improve mathematics learning achievement through the contextual approach of eight grade students of SMPN 1 Hatungun, Tapin Regency. This type of research is a classroom action research with two cycles. The subjects of this study were 17 students, consisting of ten boys and seven girls. The data collection techniques used were tests and documentation and the results were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that there was an increase in student learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II. Other results indicate that student activities in the learning process and teacher activities in learning management are also in good category. Keywords: contextual approach, learning achievement, mathematics.

This study aims to describe the interests and learning outcomes of students by using picture media in learning theme 1 of subtheme 3 in class I SDIT Nurul Ikhlas Padang ". This type of research is Classroom Action Research. The instrument for data collection was obtained through observation of students' interest sheets, teacher observation sheets and learning achievement tests. The results of the study are the first through the use of media interest pictures and student learning outcomes have increased, which can be seen in the observation sheet that has been filled out by the observer teacher where in the first cycle the acquisition of student learning outcomes has increased namely the average value in the first cycle 57 with mastery learning 71% increased to 72.72 in the second cycle with 88% completeness. The conclusion of this research is that through media images can increase student interest and learning outcomes.

This research is focus on the integration of group discussion method using audio visual learning media. The aim of conducting this research is to find out how the integration of group discussion method using audio visual learning media toward the students learning achievement on listening. The method of the study used was qualitative with Quasy Experimental design. It was done at Teruna Muda Jurnior High School. The instrument used were a set of test and observation sheets. The result of the research are: a) that the everage result using QA method using the audio visual learning is 74; and b) student learning outcomes using the QA method with audio media is no better than the student learning outcomes provided with conventional learning models using audio media. Then it is concluded that the teachers may implement the QA method or conventional learning in teaching listening to the students in the classroom.

This ‘classroom action research’ aims to determine the effectiveness of the project assessment at Islamic Junior School (Madrasah Tsanawiyah) Model Makassar in the VIII/a class as subject research. The study carried out in two cycles, data collection was done by employing three ways: questionnaires, observation and test administration. The result showed that the project assessment was able to improve: 1) student discipline, shown on average 73,78% of the first cycle and the second cycle was 91,72%. 2) Responsibility for student learning, the average seen in the first cycle of 66,37% and 85,77% for the second cycle. 3) Student learning outcomes, the first cycle were 51,72% while in the second cycle there was 17,24% score below the minimum completeness criteria. On the individual test conducted at the end of the second cycle showed that there are only 4 students (13,79%) who had not reached the minimum completeness criteria.

Student learning achievement in statistical material is still relatively low, because the learning method used is still monotonous (conventional).  This study aims to improve the learning achievement of class XII Students of SMA Negeri 2 Salahutu on statistical material through the cooperative learning type two stay two stray. This type of research is a class action research consisting of two cycles, with each cycle consisting of two meeting. The subjects in this study were students of class XII-MIA2 with a sample of 20 students. Data collection techniques in this study were obtained from the results of observations and final test results of students in each cycle. Classical student learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II increased by 15%. Based on results obtained, it can be concluded that using the cooperative learning of the two stay two stray type can improve the learning outcomes of class XII students of SMA Negeri 2 Salahutu on statistical matrial.

This study aims to determine the increase in student activity and learning outcomes in chemistry subjects by applying D 'jigsaw termoboard learning at Muara Kelingi High School on Thermochemical material. The research method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR). The study was conducted in two cycles, where each cycle consisted of two meetings. Data collection techniques using the end of the cycle test and observation sheet. Tests are used to determine student learning outcomes and observation sheets are used to determine student activities. The results showed that the average value of pre-cycle student learning outcomes was 44.0 with a percentage of completeness of 31.4%, the average value of student learning outcomes after the first cycle of action was 55.4 with a percentage of completeness of 62.9% , the average value of student learning outcomes in the second cycle was 70.3 with a percentage of completeness of 82.9%. Where the results of Cycle II> Cycle I. It was concluded that D 'jigsaw termoboard learning in learning can improve chemistry activities and learning outcomes. This study aims to describe learning outcomes through the application of PAKEM learning model. The subjects of the study were the students of grade IVb SD Negeri 013 Mekarsari. Improvement of learning outcomes in terms of four categories, namely the ability to absorb, the effectiveness of learning, mastery of student learning both mastery of individual and classical completeness and mastery of learning outcomes. Instruments used for data collection are oral tests and written tests in the form of LKS conducted after the learning process. The results showed that the percentage of student completeness increased from 19.40% to 55.40% categorized well, the effectiveness of learning is categorized very effective with an average of 88.46%. While the completeness of student learning outcomes expressed. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of PAKEM learning model can improve learning outcomes on the material of the students of class IV B grade SD Negeri 013 Mekarsari.

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes by applying the method VII.2 classassignment sheet giving students conducted in March and April 2016. Subjects were seventhgrade students of SMP Negeri 2 Dumai totaling 26 students. The parameters in this study isthe absorption and mastery learning as well as student activities and teacher activities assupporting data. The research instrument used is the study and data collection instruments.The device consists of a learning syllabus, lesson plan, test, observation of student activitysheets, activity sheets teacher observation. The survey results revealed absorption of studentsin the first cycle is 70% with moderate category and second cycle increased to 78% in thehigh category. Mastery learning of students in the first cycle is 88.46% and 88.50% in thesecond cycle students completed. Activities of students in the first cycle an average of80.76%% (very good) and the second cycle is an increase of 97.5% (excellent). It can beconcluded that the method of administration of the student assignment sheet can improvestudent learning outcomes in the classroom ecosystem VII 2 material SMP Negeri 2 Dumai.

This research is motivated by the poor results of Study Social Sciences (IPS) Student Class VI SDN 024 Tarai Bangun Kecamatan Tambang. This study aims to determine the resulting increase studying social sciences (IPS) student class VI SDN 024 Tarai Bangun Kecamatan Tambang through the application of learning strategies go to yuor post, which carried out for 1 month. The subjects were VI SDN 024 Tarai Bangun Kecamatan Tambang by the number of students as many as 38 people. Form of research is classroom action research. The research instrument consists of instruments and instrument performance data collection activity observation sheet form teacher and student activity. Based on the research, the conclusion to this study is based on the analysis and discussion in chapter IV can be concluded that the application of learning strategies go to yuor post can improve learning outcomes in the subject of social sciences grade VI SDN 024 Tarai Bangun Kecamatan Tambang. Evidenced by the increase in learning outcomes before action to the first cycle, to cycle II. Before the act of student learning outcomes classified as unresolved with an average of 59%, an increase in the first cycle by an average of 69%. While the results of student learning in the second cycle must be increased by an average of 75% with the category completed.
