Translation for the vocational students of the Business English study program could be considered as the fifth language skill that they need to learn in multilingual digital era. Therefore, they have to be able to translate and interpret from English text to the Indonesian text and vice versa in some business applications, such as tourism/ hospitality industry, export import, and customer service. In this paper, the writers used qualitative descriptive research on the case study taken from the Translation classroom. To achieve the purposes of the study, the writer would like to compare the results of the respondents' target translation between translating the source text without and with translation strategies in facilitating their academic learning process. In this survey, the writer found out that most of the participations used Google Translate and translation strategies, such as structural and semantic translation strategies to help them facilitate their translating to produce qualified translation results. Based on the results, the translation strategies were useful for novice translators. The other findings were what factors that influenced their errors in English- Indonesian translation and what translation strategies. The writers also shared some important educational implications of this research

People talk about entrepreneurship simply everywhere. This trend also happens in Indonesia as it is proved with the increase of 3.1% entrepereneurship development ratio in 2016 (www.depkop.go.id). The hype is supported by the expansion of e-commerce in Indonesia. The rise of e-commerce entrepreneurs in Indonesia is one of the factors that makes Business English study program to set up Integrated Business Applications (IBA) course. The course is intended to make students learn to do business activities by doing real online business. This research would like to reveal whether the IBA course could enhance students’ entrepreneurial skills or not. This research uses fifth semester students who already passed this course as respondents. The findings of this research reveal that Integrated Business Applications course is really essential to enhance students’ entrepreneurial skills. Further research could be implemented in order to find the impact of this course to the other study program.

This study aimed to answer the following questions: “what are the dominant soft-skills owned by the students of Business English study program”; “what are the most difficult soft-skills for the students during the implementation of three-in-one live-in program?”. This study used a qualitative descriptive survey approach. Moreover, the data analysis used content analysis techniques. Source of data of this study were 21 university students whose majoring in Business English study program from batch 2016 1nd 2017. The findings were that dominant soft skills was adaptation (average score was 3.9), while discipline and communication were the two most difficult soft-skills. (average score was 3.7 for each)

Guiding is a branch of oral communication. In oral communication, guiding can be included as productive skill. English guiding is one of the academic lessons in the fourth semester. Being a tour guide is a very important job in tourism part. In many cases, the tour guide is a traveller's first impression of a foreign country. In other cases a tour guide may be responsible for teaching tourists about the culture and sites in a city or town. Improving students’ communicative skill is the goal of teaching English guiding, because the student can express themselves and know how to use language well. In the real situation in teaching guide process, lecturer cannot escape from reality. It occurs because there are some problems faced by the lecture and the student. The lecturer cannot make student pay attention; make the students’ lack of creativity in making interactive guiding topics, and engagement in whole teaching learning process. This research applied photovoice as a technique to increase the student’s ability in speaking English guiding. Photovoice is suitable technique in teaching speaking skill in English guiding because it gives student chance to communicate with different context and different social by photo as a learning media. This reviews were taken from Beverly Palibroda (2009) Photovoice implementation and Speaking Assessment from Brown Lavinson (2004). This research was conducted by three cycles such as: pre-test, cycle I and cycle II. In composing this research the writer used qualitative descriptive method by classroom action research (CAR).             The result of this research showed that the mean score in pre-test before implementing Photovoice clearly showed that the ability of the subject under study was relatively “ fairly satisfactory ” in the level of mastery of speaking rubric. There were increasing in cycle I after implementing Photovoice technique. The result of the data analysis of the reflection score in cycle I showed increasing the mean score of 7.11 It was higher than the result of pre-test. In the cycle II, which the treatment was more intensive in order of weakness of the students had been known. The result of the data anaysis of reflection or post-test in cycle II that the mean score was 8.18. The different between mean score in cycle I and II was 1.07. It showed that the student’s speaking guiding ability improved after the researcher applied the photovoice thecnique to the students.

  In this digital era, all information and communication technology emhanched faster all the time. This issue gives a big chance on communication practice become more effective than before. Hence, to full the tight competition on digital era such as online media, the researcher wanted to investigate about applying ethic of journalist code in the online media and in journalist understanding to the ethic journalist code. The researcher used qualitative descriptive method which oriented on the field research and literature. On the other side, the qualitative research also directs into the finding of basic theory which is emphasized the process over the result. It also limits the research with the focus which has criteria on finding the trustwothiness dta. Based on the result on the research about applying ethic of journalist code in the Islamic rubrik OASE at Depok POS.com, online media in Depok POS always apply the ethic of journalist code with colaborate on that ethic such as the way which always used in the field by journalist and the ethic of journalist understanding are the specific detail and detail things which manage about how should the media worker such as journalist, editor, chief of reporter, news achor and every profession which can called a journalist can behave on ethic of journalist code. Further, ethic of journalist code is the basic of journalist thought.

Quality Services User of Service User Pdam City Surabaya (Study on PDAM Responsiveness and Accountability in providing customer service of dirty/smelly water). Settlement in Surabaya city is one of clean water prone area. So far the distribution of clean water is done through home connection obtained from pdam Surya Sembada in Surabaya city, but the service obtained stiil not in accordance with service standard. This study aims to how resposiveness an akuntability PDAM Surabaya city in providing services. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive method whit focus of public service covering, service procedure, completion time, competence of service providr officer. Research results can be seen that customer complaints service water distribution system that has been implemented well enough about the procedures service, facilities and infrasructure, the competence of serviceprovider. But at this yime the process of workmanship provided by the officer has not been in accordance whit waht is set and the officer so far only responds to all customer complaints but not acted upon. Keyword : service, responsiveness and accountability

AbstractTo uncover the causes that give rise to a lack of student interest in participating in language activities. To uncover strategies to increase student interest in participating in language activities in Arabic Language Study Program Faculty of Education and Teaching in IAIN Bengkul5.In this study, researchers used a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection methods for this study by observation, interviews and documents. Language activities include teaching and learning activities every Wednesday, Weekly Arabic activities, vocabulary sharing activities, lectures, dramas. Lack of a clear curriculum led to the failure to achieve the objectives of this activity, the lack of relationship between teachers and students, the relationship between students and the students because many students does not make affect other students, the lack of discipline in the MLA, no media to learn.Key Word: Enthusiasm of students; Language activity; Teaching Arabic

Indonesia has a great opportunity to use technological developments in the current 4th industrial revolution. The opportunity is based on the fact that from the total population of Indonesia, more than half of them are active internet users. The largest group of internet users in Indonesia is at the age of students, these groups of students are in the middle to college student level. To occupy the need for technology-based learning, it is necessary to modify and have some innovations to various learning tools in learning activities. This qualitative descriptive research will discuss the use of technology-based learning media with Quizizz as an application in English learning lecturing process. This study involved students of the 1st level of accounting study program who had passed English Class at the Universitas Islam Kadiri-Kediri (UNISKA). In general, the results of the study indicate that English lecturing process using the Quizizz is a fun and effective activity so that it is expected to continue to be used in further lecturing activities.

This paper raises the issue of how the role of PA lecturers in solving problems of students of Islamic banking study programs majoring in Sharia and Islamic Economics. The method used in this study is field research with a qualitative descriptive approach. The source of important data in this study is the PA lecturer in the Sharia Banking study program which is also called the research informant. The results showed that students had many academic problems, including the problem of taking courses every semester there were pre and no conditions, shortages and excess credits, less cooperative or less familiar with their respective PA lecturers, problems, economics, family there are even personal problems that consult with PA lecturers. The role of PA lecturers in solving the problem of the students in the Islamic Banking study program is quite well, this can be seen from the role of PA lecturers as their student mentors in academic matters that lead to taking courses, as advisors who always remind students in several ways, such as ethical issues , not yet fluent in reading Al-Quran, and as a motivator who always gives motivation to a better future career, their parents' economic problems and their relationship to the late payment of semester fees and others. In general, PA lecturers in the Sharia banking study program have played a role as PA lecturers both as mentors, directors, advisors and motivators in the academic, social, economic and career fields.

This research is about consumer behavior in making digital payments in buying and selling transactions. Digital payment methods are a new way of making payments, especially in times of a pandemic like today, this is also a result of government policies, various countries globally to not do many activities outside the home and keep each other apart during the Covid-19 pandemic. Consumer behavior has begun to switch conventional payment instruments to digital payments. Payment via digital wallets has become popular and most accepted as an emerging payment method in both developed and developing countries. This research itself aims to determine the behavior patterns of millennial consumers with impulsive buying because of seeing promotions and digital payment facilities. Based on this, the use of digital wallets on millennial consumer behavior during the Covid-19 pandemic is the object of research. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with a literature approach. The research data is obtained through literature study and theoretical studies from various scientific sources. The results of the study show that the Covid-19 pandemic has increased the use of digital wallets to the tendency of consumer consumerism to use electronic transactions that are more suitable and efficient for use during a pandemic. The digital era has developed rapidly in a society that has adapted to become an adaptive shopper in a cashless society that has developed a new normal culture, namely electronic payment transactions through digital wallets. Penelitian ini mengenai perilaku konsumen melakukan pembayaran digital dalam transaksi jual-beli. Metode pembayaran digital menjadi cara baru melakukan pembayaran terlebih lagi di masa pandemi seperti sekarang ini, hal ini juga sebagai dampak dari kebijakan pemerintah, berbagai negara secara global untuk tidak banyak melakukan kegiatan di luar rumah serta menjaga jarak satu sama lain di masa pandemi Covid-19. Perilaku konsumen mulai beralih alat pembayaran konvensional menjadi pembayaran digital. Pembayaran melalui dompet digital telah populer dan paling diterima sebagai metode pembayaran yang muncul di negara maju dan berkembang. Penelitian ini sendiri bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola perilaku konsumen milenial dengan pembelian yang cepat serta tidak direncanakan (impulsive buying) karena melihat promosi dan sarana pembayaran digital. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, penggunaan dompet digital pada perilaku konsumen milenial di saat pandemi Covid-19 menjadi obyek penelitian. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deksriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan literature. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui studi pustaka dan kajian teoritis dari berbagai sumber ilmiah. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa pandemi Covid-19 memberikan peningkatan penggunaan dompet digital hingga kecenderungan konsumerisme konsumen dengan penggunaan transaksi elektronik yang lebih cocok dan efisien untuk digunakan dalam masa pandemi. Era digital sudah berkembang pesat dalam masyarakat yang sudah beradaptasi menjadi adaptive shopper di dalam cashless society yang mengembangkan budaya normal baru yaitu transaksi pembayaran elektronik melalui dompet digital.
