The study aimed to find out the effectiveness of discovery and inquiry learning strategies on the efforts of improving the early math skills of students in kindergartens in West Java Province, Indonesia. This is experimental research. The sampling method was done by multi-stage random sampling with probability sampling and it obtained 72 samples of kindergarten students consisting of 36 children from kindergartens in Bandung, West Java who were treated by discovery learning strategy and 36 children from the kindergartens in West Bandung Regency who was treated using inquiry learning strategy. Data were obtained using a checklist of observation sheets for early math skills of kindergarten children. Data analysis used a quantitative descriptive with a t-test. The findings of the study indicate that discovery-learning strategy is better than inquiry learning strategy in improving early math skills of kindergarten students. It is evidenced by the results showing that the average score of group with discovery learning strategy was 111.63 and the average score of group n using inquiry learning strategy was 101.96 with the result of t-count of 5.551 at the 0.05 level of significance. The conclusion of this research there were differences in early math skills between groups of children with discovery learning strategy and those with the inquiry learning strategy. From the results of data processing and discussion of the study, it was concluded that discovery learning strategy was better than inquiry learning strategy in increasing the score of early math skills of kindergarten children.

This research was aimed to determine: (1) the effect of inquiry learning strategies to students' critical thinking skills; (2) the effect of inquiry learning strategies to student learning outcomes; (3) the effect of discovery learning strategies to students' critical thinking skills; (4) the effect of discovery learning strategies to student learning outcomes; and (5) the relationship with the critical thinking skills of student learning outcomes. This research was conducted in MAN I Padangsidimpuan, in class XII IPA second semester of the school year 2013/2014 in the matter of Biotechnology. Samples taken consisted of three experimental class. Sample was conducted by cluster random sampling method. This research method was a quasi-experimental techniques Anacova analysis (analysis of covariance) at significance level α = 0.05. The results of this study showed that: (1) there are significant inquiry learning strategies to students' critical thinking skills (F-count = 4.621; Sig. = 0.036); (2) there are significant inquiry learning strategy on learning outcomes of students (F-count = 2.860; Sig. = 0.018); (3) there are significant discovery learning strategy toward critical thinking ability of students (F-count = 48.709; Sig. = 0,000); (4) there are significant discovery learning strategies students (F-count = 4.034; Sig. = 0,049); and (5) there is a relationship with the critical thinking skills of student learning outcomes using a strategy of inquiry learning, discovery and conventional (F-count = 50.956; Sig. = 0.000).

This research is a research on the development of Website learning media. This study aims to produce a product in the form of website learning media on thermochemical material that has been developed and its effect on student learning outcomes. This research was conducted by analyzing several Thermochemical learning websites with good ratings by 15 teachers who teach Chemistry in Serdang Bedagai Regency. From this analysis, it was obtained that the average count for Website A was 3.64 and Website B was 3.83, with sufficiently valid information but still requiring improvement in its presentation. The results of the analysis become a reference point in developing the Website learning media. The website that has been developed is analyzed according to the BSNP standard by 2 IT learning experts with an average result of 4.76 with very valid criteria. In addition, 15 teachers obtained an average score of 4.74 with very valid criteria. Limited trials of student learning outcomes were analyzed using independent t-test, with a value of t-count> t-table (3.89> 1.70), which means that with the implementation of integrated website media the inquiry learning strategy is higher than the KKM of the school at the level of significance of 0.05.

This study aims to improve student achievement in Aqidah Akhlak subjects, especially KD Understanding Sufism. The assessment of this Sufism material is not only in the realm of knowledge (cognitive) but includes the entire domain of attitude (there is a change in attitude) and skills (application of religious understanding) for each student. That's why researchers formulate strategies that can generate student achievement, where in this learning activity, apart from being able to achieve all the aspects that are expected, students are also able to instill social traits in each of them. The learning strategy offered is cooperative learning (Cooperative Learning Strategy), namely by using the Team Games Tournament (TGT) type. Conducted in class XI IPS1 MAN 1 Jombang. This research was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of two face-to-face meetings. Before carrying out the research action, the researcher conducted a pre-test in the class being studied (before the implementation of cooperative learning strategies, in this pret test the results obtained by students on this material with an average of 79. Furthermore, after the cooperative learning model through the TGT type (Teams Games Tournaments) then in the second cycle obtained an average learning completeness of 84, and in the third cycle the increase in the average score became 95, very significant. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Aqidah Akhlak khususnya KD Memahami Tasawuf. Penilaian pada materi tasawuf ini bukan hanya padah ranah pengetahuan (kognitif) melainkan mencakup seluruh ranah sikap (ada perubahan sikap) dan Ketrampilan (penerapan pemahaman religi) pada setiap siswa. Karena itulah peneliti merumuskan strategi yang dapat membangkitkan prestasi belajar siswa, dimana dalam kegiatan pembelajaran ini selain mampu mencapai seluruh aspek yang diharapkan siswa juga mampu menanamkan sifat social dalam diri mereka masing-masing. Strategi pembelajaran yang ditawarkan adalah pembelajaran kooperatif (Cooperative Learning Strategy), yaitu dengan menggunakan tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT). Dilakukan pada kelas XI IPS1 MAN 1 Jombang. Penelitian dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran cooperative learning melalui tipe TGT (Teams Games Tournaments) ini dilakukan dalam dua kali siklus, masing-masing terdiri dari dua kali pertemuan tatap muka. Sebelum melakukan tindakan penelitian, peneliti melakukan pre test terlebih dahulu pada kelas yang diteliti (sebelum diterapkannya strategi pembelajaran kooperatif, pada pret test ini didapatkan hasil nilai yang didapat siswa pada materi ini dengan rata-rata 79. Selanjutnya setelah model pembelajaran cooperative learning melalui tipe TGT (Teams Games Tournaments) maka pada siklus kedua diperoleh rata-rata ketruntasan belajar 84, dan pada siklus ke tiga peningkatan nilai rata-rata mejadi 95, sangat signifikan.

Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan hasil belajar dengan menggunakan Strategi Joyful Learning. Strategi joyful learning membantu guru untuk lebih kreatif dalam proses belajar mengajar dan dapat meningkatakan hasil belajar siswa. Desain penelitian   ini  adalah  Penelitian  Tindakan Kelas  (PTK) yang  dilakukan  secara  kolaboratif. Subjek  penelitian   adalah  peserta  didik kelas VII B  berjumlah  22  orang, 5 putri dan 17 putra. Penerapan strategi joyful learning menunjukkan peningkatan pada hasil belajar. Siklus I meningkat menjadi 21 siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan dengan nilai rata-rata kelas 95. Pada siklus I memperoleh nilai rata-rata IPG 73% dengan kategori baik, IRS 88 % dengan kategori sangat baik, dan IKL 80% dengan kategori baik. This study aims to improve learning outcomes by using the Joyful Learning Strategy. Joyful learning strategies help teachers to be more creative in the teaching and learning process and can improve student learning outcomes. The design of this research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is conducted collaboratively. The research subjects were 22 students of class VII B, 5 girls and 17 boys. The application of joyful learning strategies shows an increase in learning outcomes. The first cycle increased to 21 students who achieved completeness with an average grade of 95. In the first cycle, the IPG average score was 73% in the good category, 88% IRS in the very good category, and 80% IKL in the good category.

Abstract, The purpose of this study is to examine the improvement of students' learning outcome using inquiry learning strategy and to find out the increase of mathematics learning activities using inquiry learning strategy. This study is an action research which was held at SMAN 2 Bagan Sinembah. The subject is students of Class XII IPA-2 in the academic year 2014/2015 which consists of 40 people, 11 male students and 29 female students. This study was conducted in two cycles, each consists of three meetings. A test was conducted at the beginning and at the end of each cycle in order to see students' mathematical communication ability. The results of cycle I showed that students' average score was 72.7 with 25 students complete and 15 students incomplete and the classical completeness was 62.5%.  In the second cycle, the average score was 82.65 with 37 students complete and 3 students incomplete and the classical completeness was 92.5%. There was an increase of 9.5  points on students' learning outcome and hence it can be concluded that inquiry learning strategy leads students' activities to be in good category.Keywords: learning outcome, students' mathematical activities, inquiry learning strategy Abstrak, Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar dan peningkatan aktivitas proses pembelajaran matematika siswa dengan menggunakan strategi pembelajaran inkuiri. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XII IPA-2 tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 sebanyak 40 orang yang terdiri dari 11 orang laki-laki dan 29 orang perempuan. Penelitian ini terdiri dari 2 siklus yaitu siklus I terdiri dari 3 pertemuan dan siklus II terdiri dari 3 pertemuan. Tes kemampuan matematika siswa dilakukan di awal dan akhir setiap siklus. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini dapat dilihat dari: (1) Hasil tes ulangan kemampuan matematika siswa siklus I diketahui nilai rata-rata 72,75, tuntas 25 orang, tidak tuntas 15 orang, ketuntasan klasikal 62,5%; (2) Hasil tes ulangan kemampuan matematika siswa siklus II diketahui nilai rata-rata 82,65, tuntas 37 orang, tidak tuntas 3 orang, ketuntasan klasikal 92,5%, dan peningkatan hasil belajar matematika siswa naik 9,5 poin; (3) Pembelajaran dengan menggunakan strategi pembelajaran inkuiri membuat aktivitas siswa berkategori baik dalam pembelajaran. Kata Kunci : Hasil Belajar, Aktivitas Matematika Siswa, Strategi Pembelajaran Inkuiri.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) perbedaan hasil belajar matematika antara siswa yang diajar dengan strategi pembelajaran inkuiri dibandingkan dengan siswa yang diajar dengan  strategi pembelajaran ekspositori; (2) perbedaan hasil belajar matematika antara siswa yang memiliki kemampuan berpikir abstrak tinggi dibandingkan dengan siswa yang memiliki kemampuan berpikir abstrak rendah; dan (3) interaksi antara strategi pembelajaran dengan kemampuan berpikir abstrak dalam mempengaruhi hasil belajar matematika. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar matematika siswa yang diajar dengan strategi pembelajaran inkuiri (rata-rata 80,23) lebih tinggi dibandingkan hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan strategi pembelajaran ekspositori (rata-rata 71,33); kemudian hasil belajar matematika siswa yang memiliki kemampuan berpikir abstrak tinggi (rata-rata 80,20) lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan siswa yang memiliki kemampuan berpikir abstrak rendah (rata-rata 71,35). Selanjutnya penelitian menemukan bahwa tidak terdapat interaksi antara strategi pembelajaran dan kemampuan berpikir abstrak tehadap hasil belajar matematika siswa. Sebagai tindak lanjut dari hasil penelitian ini diharapkan kepada guru matematika untuk lebih inovatif dan kreatif dalam memilih strategi pembelajaran dan diharapkan untuk dapat menerapkan strategi pembelajaran inkuiri untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa. Kata Kunci:   Strategi Pembelajaran Inkuiri, Kemampuan Berpikir Abstrak, Hasil Belajar Matematika  Abstract: The objectives of this study to investigate: (1) the difference achievement of students on mathematics between the students who taught by Inquiry learning strategy and the students who taught by expository learning strategy; (2) the difference achievement of students on mathematics between students who have low and high abstract thinking ability; and (3) an interaction between learning strategy and abstract thinking ability toward the students’ mathematics achievement. The research method used is experimental method. The result of experiment show that the students’ mathematics achievement taught by inquiry learning strategy (80.22) is higher than the students taught by expository learning strategy (71.3), then the mathematics achievement of students with high abstract thinking ability (80.20) is higher than students with low abstract thinking ability (71.31). Then, the research also found that there is no interaction between learning strategy and abstract thinking ability toward the students’ mathematics achievement. So, as the next step it implies the mathematics’ teachers to be more innovative and creative in choosing the learning strategies and applies the inquiry learning strategy in increasing the students’ mathematics achievement. Keywords: Inquiry Learning Strategy, Abstract Thinking Ability, Students’ Mathematics Achievement

This study aims to improve children's creativity in learning dance through learning strategies while playing in Sa'adatul Khidmah Islamic Kindergarten in Jambi City. This study is a classroom action research. The design of this study refers to the Kemmis and Mc Taggart models, covering planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were children in group B, Islamic Kindergarten Sa'adatul Khidmah Kota Jambi, which amounted to 16 children, consisting of 8 boys and 8 girls. The collaborator of this research is the Sa'adatul Khidmah Islamic Kindergarten Dance Teacher in Jambi City. The data collection technique used is observation. The research instruments are observation sheets and diaries. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis both quantitative and qualitative. The results of the study show that children's creativity can be improved after being given action through play-learning strategies that are applied to dance learning. The results of the observation before the action showed that the average score of creativity obtained by the child was 57.9. There are two aspects of undeveloped creativity, namely originality and elaboration. In the first cycle the average score of creativity increased to 85.83 and all aspects of creativity have developed but there are two aspects whose development has not been optimal, namely flexibility and elaboration. In the second cycle the score of creativity increased to 96.66 on average and all aspects of creativity had grown optimally. The implication of this study is that the teacher will implement a learning strategy while playing to improve children's creativity in dance learning.

This research is motivated by the students 'mathematical problem solving ability is still low, because mathematics learning in the classroom is not built to hone problem solving skills and the student worksheets used do not help students in honing students' mathematical problem solving skills, so the writer applies Polya's learning strategy with the help of problem solving sheet on social arithmetic material. This study aims to describe the steps of implementing Polya's learning strategy with the help of problem solving sheets in solving mathematical problems in social arithmetic material and to test mathematical problem solving skills by applying Polya's learning strategies with the help of problem solving sheets is it better than not implementing learning strategies Polya. This research was conducted using a quasi experimental method, with a population of all students of class VII Junior High School 3 Cisauk, Indonesia. The sample was selected using purposive sampling technique, namely students of class VII-6 and grade VII-7. Collecting data on students' mathematical problem-solving abilities using the final test (posttest). The results showed that Polya's learning strategy with the help of problem solving sheets on social arithmetic material was implemented properly and in accordance with Polya's steps. Based on the statistical test, it shows that the mathematical problem solving ability of students whose learning applies Polya's learning strategy with the help of problem-solving sheets is better than students whose learning does not apply Polya's learning strategy on class VII social arithmetic material at SMP Negeri 3 Cisauk, Indonesia.

The research sample is 1 class for discovery learning strategy learning and 1 class is expository learning strategy. Data collection instruments are tests and questionnaires. The data analysis technique is a two-way analysis of variance. The difference in value between the experimental class and the control class is not significant enough so that it can be interpreted that there cannot be a significant difference in student learning outcomes between the experimental class and the control class.
