The purpose of this study is to identify leadership in Fury movie directed by David Ayer. This study used descriptive qualitative approach. The result of this study: (1). The main character is the leader of his team. He makes a strategy and he tells the strategy to his team. (2) Leadership style of the main character in the Fury movie are autocratic and bureaucratic leadership style. (3) The moral message in the movie are a virtue, sacrifice and religious man in doing their task in the battlefield.

This study focuses on the analysis of the main characters; Jack Frost, Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy, the Easter Bunny, Pitch Black, and the Sandman’s internal and external conflicts in “Rise of the Guardians” Movie. The purpose of this study is to find out type of the internal and external conflicts based on the William Kenney’s theory. The study was conducted by using descriptive qualitative approach. The findings of this study; internal conflict: Jack Frost vs. Himself and the external conflict include Santa Claus vs. Yeti, Jack Frost vs. Easter Bunny, Pitch Black vs. Group of Guardians, Jack Frost vs. Group of Guardians, Jack Frost vs. Pitch Black. The problem solving of those conflict is competitive, because the Group of the Guardians pursues their own concerns at the Pitch Black’s expense.   Key Words: Conflict, main character, rise of the guardians, movie

This event will be based on research by the large number of women leaders in education, especially in TK Aisyiyah Bumiayu where majority of its leader is a woman rather than a man. The research method used is Descriptive qualitative approach. The subject of research, namely the school TK Aisyiyah in Bumiayu. Date collection techniques acquire date, quality of date collection are also related to the quality of the research instrument made by the researchers. Research results are obtained, namely that a woman can also lead an institution especially in the institution because a woman is the main educators of at least within a family. In TK Aisyiyah Bumiayu is indeed the majority must be led by women because the institution is indeed in desaign to women leaders.

This study was aimed to analyze types of cooperative maxims in the” Omar” movie. In addition, this study could be considered as a language is a complex phenomenon whose meaning depends on where and when it is used in the “Omar”movie based on the interrogation between the Israeli soldier and the main character (Omar). This study used cooperative maxims  of Grice’s theory that  The cooperative principle was stated in the following way make your conversational contribution such as was required, at the stage at which it occurs, by the accepted purpose or direction of the talk exchange in which you were engaged. This study applied descriptive qualitative approach in analyzing of the data obtained. The data based on the transcription of the dialogue of the main character and the Israeli soldier. The data found was the maxim of quantity 16 %, maxim of quality 5%, maxim of relevant 47%, and maxim of manner 32 %. Therefore, in this study the most dominant was relevant maxims. Thus, the most frequently used was relevant maxims because the interrogation needed relevant to answer the interogerator.Keywords: Analysis, Cooperative Maxims and Omar Movie.

This study investigated the types and functions of politeness strategy used by the main character of Tinker Bell in Secret of the Wings movie. The study was a descriptive qualitative approach. The instrument of this study was document analysis. It focused on analyzing and interpreting recorded documents.  To analyze the data, four interactional procedures were applied. Triangulation was used to justify the trustworthiness of data. The findings showed that the interaction between the main character and her addressee realized all politeness strategies. There were 39 data found in the conversation. Each politeness strategy's frequency was positive politeness in the first grade, with 51.3%, followed by a bald-on record with 33.3%. Negative politeness and 'off record' were the same positions with 7.7 %, %. Second, the researchers reported two politeness strategy functions indicated by the transactional view with 74.4 % and interactional view with 25.6%. Last, the main character applied the politeness strategy to have a close relationship, know each other, and avoid the addressee's imposition. This politeness strategy had implications on using politeness strategies of a language in communication aspects for the community.

Communication is a human activity everyday, people always communicate each other. Sometime people do not realize what they are talking about. To make a good communication, human must follow cooperative principles. That is why Grice offers to use theory of cooperative principle to avoid misunderstanding and misinterpretation between the speaker and the listener. However, some people do not fulfill those maxims to be used in the conversation for certain reasons, and when they violate the maxims it is called flouting maxims. A descriptive qualitative approach is used for this study because the data are in the form of words rather than of numbers and statistics. This study reveals that based on theory of Grice’s Cooperative, there are four maxims which are flouted by the main characters of  “Home Alone Part 2 ‘Lost in New York’” movie this movie since 1992 directed and written by John Hughes. The result shows that there are four Maxims Flouted by the main characters there are flouting maxim of quality, flouting maxim of quantity, flouting maxim of relevance, and flouting maxim of manner. And there are several reasons of flouting those maxims are data finding also revealed that the communication could still even though the main characters flouting the maxims. Four reasons by the main characters to flout the maxims are competitive, collaborative, convivial, and conflictive reason. In terms of types, quantity maxim flouting is in the highest rank and relevance maxim flouting is in the lowest rank. In terms of strategies, overstatement is the most frequently used and metaphor is the most rarely used. Leadership style is important in an organization, if a leader can adapt his leadership style to the existing situations and conditions, it can affect the performance of his subordinates. In Tanggamus Regency currently led by a woman leader, namely Dewi Handajani, different from previous periods in this period the first time Tanggamus Regency was led by a woman. Therefore, this study aims to determine the leadership style of Tanggamus Regency regional leaders and whether this leadership style affects the performance of employees in Tanggamus Regency. The method used in this research is descriptive research method with a qualitative approach, data collection is done using interview and documentation techniques. The results showed that the leadership style used by the local leaders of Tanggamus Regency, namely the feminine leadership style tends to be transformational and the style applied is able to influence the improvement of employee performance in Tanggamus Regency.

This study aims to explain how the distribution of productive zakat in the Rumah Zakat North Sumatra and how the effectiveness of productive zakat distribution in improving the welfare of mustahik in the Rumah Zakat North Sumatra. This study uses a qualitative approach with a type of descriptive method, which is a problem that guides researchers to explore and photograph situations that will be thoroughly investigated, broadly and deeply. Data collection techniques with field research, while the tools used are observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis used is descriptive qualitative analysis. The results of this study inform that in distributing productive zakat funds, Rumah Zakat is in accordance with Law No. 23 of 2011 concerning Management of Zakat. The distribution of productive zakat carried out by the Rumah Zakat North Sumatra through the Senyum Mandiri Program to mustahik in Medan Helvetia Subdistrict has been effective, because it can improve the welfare of mustahik, this is evidenced by the income of eight of thirteen mustahik people in total, five people whose income is fixed and four out of eight people whose income has increased has reached the level of muzaki.

The aims of this research is to understand the responsibility of Mickey Haller as a lawyer. By using descriptive qualitative method, the writer will describes all things in the movie itself. The data were collected from some sources, such as books in library of Senayan ,Library of STIBA Nusa Mandiri, Google books and Website. The writer found the result of analysis about an interesting character from Mickey Haller as main character. Mickey Haller is a lawyer with high responsibility in his work. It makes him never give up on solving the case at hand. Mickey Haller is known as a lawyer who can acquit his clients from criminal penalties although most of his clients are criminal such bikers, con artist, drunk drivers, and drug dealers. Besides Mickey Haller was responsible for the work, he is also responsible for the safety of his family. He protects his children and ex-wife of the evil people who do not like him. A teacher is a character who plays an important role in the education world. His role is so hard and always becames the attention of various parties. This study discusses the characters of teachers in the short stories of “Bintang-Bintang Jasa Cikgu Musa, BA”and “Guru Dungu”. The data are analyzed by using theory of genetic structuralism with descriptive qualitative approach. The result (of the analysis) shows that all the intrinsic factors support the building of character. The background of the author influences the making of work’s factors as well.AbstrakGuru adalah tokoh yang berperan penting dalam dunia pendidikan. Perannya sangat berat dan selalu menjadi sorotan berbagai pihak. Pada tulisan ini dibahas tokoh guru yang berlakuan dalam cerpen “Bintang-Bintang Jasa Cikgu Musa, BA” dan “Guru Dungu”. Tujuan penulisan ini adalah untuk mengetahui penokohan tokoh utama dan kaitannya dengan unsur-unsur intrinsik dan ekstrinsik. Analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan teori strukturalisme genetik dan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Dari analisis ditemukan bahwa seluruh unsur intrinsik mendukung penokohan tokoh guru. Latar belakang pengarang sangat memengaruhi pengolahan unsur-unsur karya.

Hedonism is a view of life in philosophy that seeks to avoid pain and make pleasure as the main goal in life. People who embrace hedonism tend to over-pursue pleasure. The hedonism lifestyle is mostly carried out by 18th century people especially the nobles who live in high culture. They are as close to hedonism as they are in the Persuasion novel by Jane Austen. Sir Walter Elliot the main character is a nobleman who did a lot of hedonism. Hedonism which is seen as too glorifying personal pleasure to ignore others. The purpose of this study was to find out the types of hedonism done by Sir Walter Elliot in Persuasion. This research uses descriptive qualitative method because all data are in the form of sentences. The researcher uses a philosophical approach and analyzes data using Weijers' theory as the main theory. The results of this study found that Sir Walter Elliot performed two types of hedonism, namely aesthetic hedonism and selfish hedonism.
