This study describes the implementation of character education in Indonesian language learning, including planning, implementation, and assessment. This research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were Indonesian language teachers at UPT SPF SMPN 53 Makassar. Data were obtained through interviews, questionnaires, observations, and documentation analysis. The credibility test of the data used in this study is the persistence of observations, and then conclusions are obtained. The results obtained in this study are character education in Indonesian language learning at UPT SPF SMPN 53 Makassar has been implemented both in planning, implementation, and assessment of learning but not all of it has been implemented because it is still in the covid-19 pandemic. At the learning planning stage, the Indonesian language teacher has included character values ​​that will be implemented in learning in the syllabus and lesson plans. The implementation of Indonesian language learning at UPT SPF SMPN 53 Makassar has been quite implemented through online learning via WhatsApp. Assessment of Indonesian language learning includes effective assessment.

That learning technology has many benefits in its use during a pandemic in Arabic learning to improve Arabic language learning, both in its planning, implementation and evaluation. Therefore, for Arabic language teachers during a pandemic in utilizing learning technology, they must be varied in making the material, presenting it, and giving assignments to increase the Arabic language maharah. The purpose of this study is to find out the use of learning technology during a pandemic at MAN Banjarmasin in increasing the Arabic language teaching and the supporting and inhibiting factors in its use. The methodology in this study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection used: Observation, Interview and Documentation. The results in this study indicate that: 1) The use of learning technology during the pandemic at MAN Banjarmasin in increasing the Arabic language maharah varied in its planning, implementation, and evaluation and was able to increase student values in learning Arabic. 2) factors that support and hinder the lack of provision of facilities and infrastructure, lack of IT mastery, enthusiasm and enthusiasm of teachers and students with online learning, professional language teachers, high student interest, provision of varied materials.

This research aims to describe the strengthening of student character in Indonesian courses including planning, implementation, assessment, inhibiting factors, and support. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The subject of this research is a lecturer who teaches Indonesian language courses. Data obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation analysis. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman analysis model. The results obtained, that character education has been integrated in Indonesian language learning, both in planning, implementation, and learning assessment. At the learning planning stage, Indonesian language lecturers have included character values that will be implemented in learning in the syllabus and RPS. The implementation of Indonesian language learning as a whole has implemented character values.  Assessment of Indonesian language learning based on the RPS made by Indonesian language lecturers includes affective, cognitive, and psychomotor assessments. Assessment is carried out through observation, questions, and classical discussions. Inhibiting factors for the integration of character strengthening for students in Indonesian language learning, that  is lecturers having difficulty in choosing character values and integrating them with learning materials, assessing the achievement of character education, and learning media that are less supportive. Supporting factors for the integration of character strengthening in Indonesian language learning, that is the campus environment, interactions between students, and a coherent teaching schedule.

The study is aimed at describing the national character education in (1) planning, (2) implementation, and (3) evaluation of the implementation of the Balinese instruction in VIII grade of SMA Negeri 1 Singaraja. The subjects in this research were the Balinese language teachers in class VIII A1 and VIII A2. The objects of research were : (1) the national character education in the instruction planning of learning, (2) the national character education in the implementation of learning, and (3) the national character education in the evaluation of the implementation. There were three research methods, namely the recording of documents to collect planning of learning data, observation to collect implementation data and evaluation of the implementation, and interviews to support planning, implementation, and evaluation of the implementation data. The data were analyzed by using data analysis techniques model of Miles and Huberman, namely data reduction, data presentation, and inference and verification. The conclusion of this study showed that (1) the national character education in the planning of learning has been implemented by teachers with conformity percentage of 81% (very appropriate). The planned score was fourteen, which lied in the components of learning objectives, learning activities, and assessment. (2) The national character education in the implementation of learning has been implemented in three main activities of learning with conformity percentage of 72% (appropriate). There were fourteen values which were implemented, but they were not fully comply with the planning and implementation guidelines. The instructional methods used in the character formation were exemplary, verbal reinforcement, motivation, instruction and assignments. (3) The national character education in the evaluation of the implementation has been implemented in conformity percentage of 85% (very appropriate). Teachers assessed the attitude / character, knowledge, and skills. There were five evaluated character values, which referred from the indicator and standard score developed at school. The techniques used in this study were observation and assessment which were conducted in the form of process and product assessment. Thus, we can conclude the national character education in Balinese instuction has been implemented by the teacher. The suggestion that can be given in this research is that the teachers should be more careful in planning particular components of the assessment. Moreover, Buleleng Education Office should improve the provision of training in implementing the national character education.

This study aims to discuss the analysis of the application of character education in mathematics learning at SMP Negeri 1 Simpangkatis class VIII and MA Muhammadiyah Gantung class X MIA. Mathematics learning is used as a medium and a vehicle for character building. By advancing character education in mathematics, Mathematics Learning is no longer to support the development of the cognitive domain but also to develop the affective domain. The research method used a qualitative approach with qualitative descriptive methods. Data collection used observation and interview sheets. The research findings show that character education has been applied in mathematics learning at SMP Negeri 1 Simpangkatis and MA Muhammadiyah Gantung. As for learning activities that can foster character values, including praying together, the teacher giving worksheets and students working in groups, students presenting the results of their work in front of the class. The character referred to is having a strong attitude, discipline, tolerance, solidarity, hard work, responsibility, competitiveness and sportsmanship.

Abstract: The purpose of this research was to describe the student's skills through demonstration models in thematic learning and to find out the constraints of applying demonstration models in thematic learning in elementary schools. This research used a qualitative approach with research subjects of fourth-grade students at SDN Tlogomas 2 Malang City. The results of the research showed that the application of the demonstration model involved students in various learning situations. The theme of the learning material in this case, is the theme 1: The Beautiful Diversity: be grateful for diversity. The demonstration model is carried out by following the syntax or stages as follows: planning, implementation, and evaluation. The planning stage is done by making lesson plans and learning media, the implementation phase is done by integrating into groups, and evaluation is carried out by conducting question and answer as a form of further reflection. The obstacles faced by teachers are the lack of facilities and infrastructure to support learning such as media reality. Keywords: Skills, demonstration model, thematic learning Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan keterampilan siswa melalui model demonstrasi dalam pembelajaran tematik dan mengetahui kendala penerapan model demonstrasi dalam pembelaajran tematik di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas IV SDN Tlogomas 2 Kota Malang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model demonstrasi melibatkan siswa dalam berbagai situasi pembelajaran. Adapun tema materi pembelajaran dalam hal ini yaitu tema 1 Indahnya Keberagaman: Bersyukur atas keberagaman. Model demonstrasi dilakukan dengan mengikuti sintak atau tahapan sebagai berikut perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Tahap perencanaan dilakukan dengan membuat RPP dan media pembelajaran, tahap pelaksanaan dilakukan dengan mengintegrasikan ke dalam kelompok, dan evaluasi dilaksanakan dengan melakukan tanya jawab sebagai bentuk refleksi selanjutnya. Kendala yang dihadapi guru yaitu kurangnya sarana dan prasarana penunjang pembelajaran seperti media realita. Kata Kunci : Keterampilan, model demonstrasi, pembelajaran tematik

This study aims to compare the management of Islamic education for the BIPA (Bahasa Indonesia Penutur Asing/Indonesian Language Learning for Foreign Speaker) program at PTKI institutions in  Indonesia and Al-Azhar University in Egypt from the aspects of the curriculum, institutions, teachers, students, and evaluation. This research used descriptive analytic method with a qualitative approach. In-depth interviews, content analysis, and observation were applied to collect the data. Data were analysed using the interactive model of Miles & Huberman and comparative analysis. The result of the research showed that BIPA management conducted by PTKI institutions and Al-Azhar university, Egypt in terms of institution, curriculum, language teachers, language learners, evaluation have applied islamic perspective (Aqeeda and Sharia) and Islamic values which are compatible with the regulation set by Direktur Jenderal Pendidikan Islam (Directorate General for Islamic Education) Number 6244 Year 2019. Referring to this regulation, both BIPA program at PTKI institutions and Al-azhar university are considered ready and successful.

Character education is the focus of Indonesian education nowadays as people in Indonesia is experiencing a negative character shifting. In order to change negative character, character education should be taught to the young generation through the integration of the character education at school. This study aims to determine the ways of integrating the value of character education in the lesson plan and the process of Indonesian language learning in the high school. This study employed a case study method by implementing a qualitative approach. This research was carried out in State Senior High School (SMAN) 1 Surakarta, Indonesia. The technique of data collection comprised of observation, interviews, and documentation. The result of this study shows that SMAN 1 Surakarta infuses character education in Indonesian language learning. The character values, which are integrated to the lesson plan, are respect, discipline, care, courage, responsibility, justice, honesty, helping each other, and cooperation. In the learning process, the character values that are infused to the lesson plan had been successfully integrated except for three values, namely justice, helping each other, and cooperation. Those three values should be integrated during group discussion activities, unfortunately, group discussion activities were not carried out.

This article describes the development of learning steps oriented towards strengthening character education. The material used in learning is "Text Report Experiments". The development of learning steps is prepared to provide convenience to Indonesian language teachers in formulating the lesson plan and in implementing it in the classroom. The research uses a development method that focuses on efforts to produce and validate a learning model, especially learning implementation activities that are in the lesson plan made by Indonesian language teachers Class IX. The products developed in the study are steps in Indonesian language learning especially with regard to text reporting experiments. The results of the study were in the form of developing learning steps in detail and contained the values of strengthening character education. The results of the study are expected to facilitate teachers in carrying out Indonesian language learning and also facilitate in preparing lesson plans. In addition, learning Indonesian using this development model is expected to encourage students to have good communication competencies and character. ABSTRACT This study aims to illustrate the following. First, describing the implementation of character education in write text of folk poetry in SMP Negeri 8 Padang including planning, implementing, and evaluating learning. Secondly, it describes the supporting and inhibiting factors of Indonesian language learning in SMP Negeri 8 Padang, which have character education. This research method is a combination of current triangulation design. The research sample was taken 25% with a proportional random sampling technique of 32 respondents. There are five results of this study. First, a learning plan consisting of a syllabus and a lesson plan (RPP) focuses on three character values, namely religious, creative, and collaboration. Second, the implementation of learning is supported by the results of interviews and the level of achievement of respondents preliminary activities (80.31%), core activities (77.43%), and closing activities (78.04%). Third, the assessment of learning shows an overall achievement level of 78.28% with a good category. Fourth, school programs, teachers, and facilities and infrastructure are supporting factors for learning Indonesian with character. Fifth, the lack of facilities and environmental influences is a barrier to the realization of character education in learning. Kata Kunci: Implementasi Pendidikan Karakter dan Pembelajaran Menulis Teks Puisi Rakyat

This assistance aims to improve the ability of target teachers who teach Indonesian in the even semester of 2020-2021 at SD-SMP Satap 8 Paremas, SMP Islam Al-Mahmudiah Rensing, SMP Islam Darut Tauhid NW Tangar, and SMP Islam Babussalam Montong Sari, in learning in the preliminary activities using a role model with the Lesson Study method. This assistance is a best practice report that uses data collection techniques through observation techniques, interview techniques, and documentation. The data analysis technique used a qualitative descriptive technique. This assistance is carried out to improve learning conditions and improve the quality of learning carried out by target teachers. This assistance is carried out only once, which aims to improve the ability of the target teacher in carrying out preliminary activities using a role model with the Lesson Study method. Assistance to the target teacher is carried out in four stages, namely the planning stage, the implementation stage, the observation stage, and the reflection stage. The results of this best practice show that the application of a role model with the lesson study method by a mentor can improve the target teacher's ability to carry out learning in the preliminary activity steps in the Indonesian language learning process for class VIII even semesters.            ABSTRAKPendampingan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru sasaran yang mengajar Bahasa Indonesia kelas VIII semester genap tahun 2020-2021 di SD-SMP Satap 8 Paremas, SMP Islam Al-Mahmudiah Rensing, SMP Islam Darut Tauhid NW Tangar, dan SMP Islam Babussalam Montong Sari, dalam pembelajaran pada kegiatan pendahuluan menggunakan role model dengan metode Lesson Study. Pendampingan ini merupakan laporan best practice yang menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data melalui teknik observasi, teknik wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik deskriptif kualitatif. Pendampingan ini dilakukan untuk memperbaiki kondisi pembelajaran dan peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh guru sasaran. Pendampingan ini dilaksanakan hanya satu kali, yaitu bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru sasaran dalam melaksanakan kegiatan pendahuluan menggunakan role model dengan metode Lesson Study. Pendampingan terhadap guru sasaran dilakukan dengan empat tahap, yaitu tahap perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan, tahap observasi, dan tahap refleksi. Hasil best practice ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan role model dengan metode lesson study oleh pendamping dapat meningkatkan kemampuan guru sasaran dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran dalam langkah kegiatan pendahuluan dalam proses pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia kelas VIII semester genap.
