This assistance aims to improve the ability of target teachers who teach Indonesian in the even semester of 2020-2021 at SD-SMP Satap 8 Paremas, SMP Islam Al-Mahmudiah Rensing, SMP Islam Darut Tauhid NW Tangar, and SMP Islam Babussalam Montong Sari, in learning in the preliminary activities using a role model with the Lesson Study method. This assistance is a best practice report that uses data collection techniques through observation techniques, interview techniques, and documentation. The data analysis technique used a qualitative descriptive technique. This assistance is carried out to improve learning conditions and improve the quality of learning carried out by target teachers. This assistance is carried out only once, which aims to improve the ability of the target teacher in carrying out preliminary activities using a role model with the Lesson Study method. Assistance to the target teacher is carried out in four stages, namely the planning stage, the implementation stage, the observation stage, and the reflection stage. The results of this best practice show that the application of a role model with the lesson study method by a mentor can improve the target teacher's ability to carry out learning in the preliminary activity steps in the Indonesian language learning process for class VIII even semesters.            ABSTRAKPendampingan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru sasaran yang mengajar Bahasa Indonesia kelas VIII semester genap tahun 2020-2021 di SD-SMP Satap 8 Paremas, SMP Islam Al-Mahmudiah Rensing, SMP Islam Darut Tauhid NW Tangar, dan SMP Islam Babussalam Montong Sari, dalam pembelajaran pada kegiatan pendahuluan menggunakan role model dengan metode Lesson Study. Pendampingan ini merupakan laporan best practice yang menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data melalui teknik observasi, teknik wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik deskriptif kualitatif. Pendampingan ini dilakukan untuk memperbaiki kondisi pembelajaran dan peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh guru sasaran. Pendampingan ini dilaksanakan hanya satu kali, yaitu bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru sasaran dalam melaksanakan kegiatan pendahuluan menggunakan role model dengan metode Lesson Study. Pendampingan terhadap guru sasaran dilakukan dengan empat tahap, yaitu tahap perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan, tahap observasi, dan tahap refleksi. Hasil best practice ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan role model dengan metode lesson study oleh pendamping dapat meningkatkan kemampuan guru sasaran dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran dalam langkah kegiatan pendahuluan dalam proses pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia kelas VIII semester genap.

This article examines the referential meaning of children's names in SMA N 1 Karanggede grade X MIPA 1. This article aims to (1) find the referential meaning of the child's name (2) explains the content of the referential meaning of the child's name (3) describes the utilization of the referential meaning of the child's name as teaching material Indonesian language learning class VIII junior high school. The data in this study are referential meanings of children's names. Sources of data came from parents and students in SMA N 1 Karanggede, especially in class X MIPA 1. Data collection techniques used interviews and questionnaires. The validity used is source triangulation. The data analysis technique uses the referential equivalent method. The results of this study are, First, the referential meaning of the child's name refers to objects (23names) and properties (13names). Second, the meaning of the name of the child based on the giver's name refers to: prayer or hope (21), time of birth (7), order of birth (2), inspiration (6). Third, the use of referential meanings of children's names in Indonesian language learning in VIII grade of SMP is related to basic competencies 4.1 Concludes the content of the news (boast and motivate what is read and heard). The material used is news text taken from the name giving of children in SMA N 1 Karanggede which motivates.

This research is based on the fact that teaching materials are not yet available as a best friend for teachers in delivering Indonesian language learning at the SMA / MA class X semester 1 of KD 3.7 and 4.7. The purpose of this study was to produce teaching materials for Indonesian language for class X semesters 1 KD 3.7 and 4.7 based on Banjarnegara Regency folklore. This research is a development research with a qualitative descriptive analysis technique. According to experts teaching material has a percentage of validity level 88.5% with a valid category, according to media experts teaching material has a percentage of validity level 80% with a valid category, according to learning experts namely Indonesian language subject teachers have a percentage of validity level 83.7 % with valid categories. Based on the results of research according to class X students of SMA Muhammadiyah Banjarnegara as users, this teaching material greatly facilitates students in understanding folklore. This can be seen from the result of filling out the questionnaire about response student of class X to the teaching materials of the developmet result which have a percentage of validity 91.5%. Suggestions include for product utilization, product dissemination, and further development needs.

This research examines and discovers the variation and formation of slang in the street food court (angkringan) of the Perpek community, Ponorogo Regency, which is indicated by a variant of the slang language. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. The research data is in the form of words from languages that contain slang forms and are spoken by sellers and buyers. Data collection uses observation techniques supported by note-taking techniques. The data analysis technique used is the equivalent method and the method of religion. The findings of this research are four processes of the formation of slang language in terms of the formation of phonological structures, namely: (1) reversing the overall arrangement of letters, for example "mahal" to "laham", (2) giving an insert at the beginning and at the end both vowels and consonants, for example "kopi" becomes "ngikop", (3) exchanges consonants and replaces one or two letters, for example "sedikit" becomes "sikit", and (4) words are shortened or cut without changing their meanings, for example "mama cantik" to be "macan". The results of the research findings indicate the formation of new slang languages that are different from the original languages, both from Indonesian and regional languages (Javanese). Penelitian ini mengkaji dan menemukan variasi dan pembentukan bahasa slang di angkringan komunitas Perpek, Kabupaten Ponorogo, yang terindikasi ditemuakan varian bahasa slang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode diskriptif kualitatif. Data penelitian berupa kata dari bahasa yang mengandung bentuk bahasa slang dan dituturkan oleh penjual dan pembeli. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi yang didukung dengan teknik simak-libat-catat. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah metode padan dan metode agih. Dari penelitian ini diperoleh temuan berupa empat proses pembentukan variasi bahasa slang dari segi pembentukan struktur fonologis, yaitu: (1) membalikkan susunan huruf secara keseluruhan, misal "mahal" menjadi "laham", (2) memberikan sisipan di awal dan di akhir kata, baik vokal maupun konsonan, misal "kopi" menjadi "ngikop", (3) menukar konsonan dan mengganti satu atau dua huruf,  misal "sedikit" menjadi "sikit", dan (4) kata dipendekkan atau dipotong tanpa mengubah maknanya, misal "mama cantik" menjadi "macan". Hasil temuan penelitian menunjukkan adanya pembentukan bahasa slang baru yang berbeda dari bahasa aslinya, baik dari bahasa Indonesia maupun bahasa daerah (bahasa Jawa).

The aim of this research is to observe visual media using in subject Islamic Cultural History or Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam (SKI) and to increase the learning motivation of MTs Laboratorium Jambi students. The research used Classroom Action Research (CAR) which was carried out in 2 cycles. The research subjects are 20 students of class VIII MTs Laboratorium Jambi. The data technique was carried out through observation and questionnaires. The data analysis technique is a qualitative descriptive analysis with a proportion formula. The results of the study are obtained from the teacher activity observation sheet in cycle 1 with an average proportion formula of 80.76% and in cycle II an increase in the average proportion value of 92.30% (very good) and the results of processing student motivation questionnaire data. in the subject of Islamic cultural history (SKI) using visual media in the first cycle, it reached 87% and in the second cycle increased 96.5% including in the very high category. Thus, the use of visual media can increase student motivation at MTs Laboratorium Jambi.   Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui penggunaan media visual dalam mata pelajaran Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam (SKI) dan peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa MTs Laboratorium Jambi. Penelitian menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan sebanyak 2 siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII MTs Laboratorium Jambi sebanyak 20 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan angket. Teknik analisis data adalah analisis deskriptif kualitatif dengan rumus persentase. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh dari lembar observasi aktifitas guru pada siklus 1 dengan rumus persentase rata-rata 80,76%, dan pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan dengan nilai persentase rata-rata 92,30% (sangat baik) dan hasil dari pengolahan data angket motivasi siswa pada mata pelajaran sejarah kebudayaan Islam (SKI) dengan menggunakan media visual pada siklus I mencapai 87% dan pada siklus II meningkat meningkat 96,5% termasuk dalam katagori sangat tinggi. Dengan demikian, penggunaan media visual dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa pada MTs Laboratorium Jambi.

Kedonganan beach is located in the village sub-district of Kedonganan Kuta, Badung Regency, Bali. Kedonganan beach has had a great revolution in the tourism development. Therefore, tourists always come to visit this beach. With a lot of tourists come, make the owner of tourism bussiness in the beach Kedonganan should be able to regulate and maintain the attitude in providing services to tourists. The purpose of this research is to know the approach of seafood culinary tour manager in providing services to the tourists. The method used to collect the data in this study are observation, interview, and literature study and the method used to analyze the data is qualitative descriptive analysis technique. The result of this research is the managers of the 4 selected cafes have different approach in providing services to tourists. The approach are such as service procedures , language learning and environmental cleanliness. From all of the approaches, although there is similar approach but they have different ways for the service provided. With the best services provided to tourists it is certain that Kedonganan beach will not lose tourists and can survive for long periods of time. Keywords : Management, Culinary Tourism, Hospitality

This study aims to analyze the increase in motivation and student learning outcomes in learning Indonesian using schoology media assisted by the WhatsApp application. This research method used quasi-experimental with pretest-posttest control group design. The research sample consisted of class VIII A as the experimental class implementing Distance Learning with schoology media assisted by the WhatsApp application and class VIII B as the control class without using schoology media. Data collection techniques with knowledge competency tests, questionnaires, and interviews. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used in this research was quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that the competence of news text knowledge in the experimental class using schoology media is better than without using schoology media. The average learning outcomes obtained were 81, the average N-gain obtained was 0.72 in good category. So it can be concluded that there is an increase in student motivation and learning outcomes in learning Indonesian.

This study aims to describe the form of code switching and code mixing used in Indonesian language learning at SMP N 01 Limpung, Batang Regency. This research is included in qualitative descriptive. Data processing that examines code switching and code mixing is thus the data in this study in the form of oral data, namely, speech code switching and code mixing that exist in Indonesian language learning. The data sources came from Indonesian language students and teachers at SMP N 01 Limpung. Data collection techniques in this study used the observation and note technique. The first step, the researcher listens to the use of language in Indonesian language learning. Furthermore, the researcher recorded the speech data including code switching and code mixing. The results showed that the speech used when learning Indonesian at SMP N 01 Limpung included: (1) code switching from Indonesian to Javanese and (2) code switching from Javanese to Indonesian. The form of code mixing that occurs in Indonesian language learning is in the form of: (1) the form of code mixing in the form of word insertion, (2) code mixing in the form of phrases

The problem of deixis is an obstacle in understanding reading texts, especially literary works. This study aims to identify and describe deixis in short story literary works. In addition, the findings of this study aim to be a medium in Indonesian language learning activities, especially in text description material. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive method. The data collection method is observational note-taking. The technique of analyzing the data used in this study is to use the data analysis technique of the Miles and Huberman model. Based on the research findings, there are five types of deixis in the Senyum Karyamin short story, namely person, place, time, discourse, and social. Through the identification of this deixis, learning to understand descriptive text will be easier to implement.

This study aims: (1) To find out the learning activities of Indonesian Language students in class V by applying the Snowball Throwing learning model. (2) To find out the improvement of Indonesian language learning outcomes of fifth-grade students of Kasongan Lama Elementary School-4 by asking the Snowball Throwing learning model. The type in this study used a variety of classroom action research (CAR). As for the subjects in this study were students of class V SDN-4 Kasongan Lama, amounting to 24 students. The instruments used in this study were observation sheets and test questions about learning outcomes in the form of essays. The data analysis technique used is qualitative and quantitative.

This study aims to describe the deviance of politeness maxims that occur in the SpongebobSquarepants cartoon film that is carried out from January to May 2018. The focus used in this study is the deviation of maxim of language politeness derived from Leech's theory include: deviation of maximal wisdom, deviation maxim of generosity, deviation from maxims of appreciation, deviation from the maxim of simplicity, deviation from maximization of consent, and deviation from maximization of conclusions. With the sub focus of politeness scale which includes the scale of loss and profit, choice scale, scale of non-continuity, authority scale, and social distance scale. The method used in this study uses a qualitative descriptive method with content analysis techniques. The object of this study was the cartoon film SpongebobSquarepants by Stephen Hillenburg. In this study, data were obtained on the cartoon SpongebobSquarepants in three episodes, Pineapple Fever, Sandy, Spongebob, and The Worm, and SquidwardThe Unfriendly Ghost, which consisted of 209 pairs of speeches. Maximum politeness deviation is 138 pairs of utterances (66.02%), while fulfillment of politeness maxim is found as many as 71 pairs of utterances (33.98%). Found 1 data maximal deviations (0.72%), 5 data maximal maximal deviations (3.62%), 46 maximal awards deviations (33.3%), 26 data maximization simplicity (18.84 %), deviation of agreement maximization as much as 61 data (44.3%), and deviation of maximization of conclusions as much as 17 data (12.6%). Then obtained politeness scale of 209 pairs of utterances. 138 fulfills politeness and 71 pairs of utterances fulfill impoliteness. The results of this study concluded that the deviations in maxim of politeness speak more than the fulfillment of politeness maxim in the cartoon film SpongebobSquarepants. In this study can be implicated in Indonesian language learning, namely learning in the text of the discussion class IX junior high school.   Keywords: politeness maxim, cartoon film, Spongebob Squarepants   Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penyimpangan maksim kesantunan yang terjadi di dalam film kartun Spongebob Squarepants yang dilakukan pada bulan Januari sampai dengan bulan Mei 2018. Fokus yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penyimpangan  maksim kesantunan berbahasa yang diturunkan dari teori Leech meliputi: penyimpangan maksim kebijaksanaan, penyimpangan maksim kedermawanan, penyimpangan maksim penghargaan, penyimpangan maksim kesederhanaan, penyimpangan maksim permufakatan, dan penyimpangan maksim kesimpatisan. Dengan sub fokus skala kesantunan yang meliputi skala kerugian dan keuntungan, skala pilihan, skala ketidaklangsungan, skala keotoritasan, dan skala jarak sosial. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik analisis isi. Objek penelitian ini adalah film kartun Spongebob Squarepants karya Stephen Hillenburg. Dalam penelitian ini didapatkan data pada film kartun Spongebob Squarepants dalam tiga episode yaitu Pineapple Fever, Sandy, Spongebob, and The Worm, dan Squidward The Unfriendly Ghost sebanyak 209 pasangan ujaran. Penyimpangan maksim kesantunan sebanyak 138 pasangan ujaran (66,02%), sedangkan pemenuhan maksim kesantunan ditemukan sebanyak 71 pasangan ujaran (33,98%). Ditemukan penyimpangan maksim kebijaksanaan sebanyak 1 data (0,72%), penyimpangan maksim kedermawanan sebanyak 5 data (3,62%), penyimpangan maksim penghargaan sebanyak 46 data (33,3%), penyimpangan maksim kesederhanaan sebanyak 26 data (18,84%), penyimpangan maksim permufakatan sebanyak 61 data (44,3%), dan penyimpangan maksim kesimpatisan sebanyak 17 data (12,6%). Selanjutnya didapatkan skala kesantunan sebanyak 209 pasangan ujaran. 138 memenuhi kesantunan dan 71 pasangan ujaran memenuhi ketidaksantunan. Hasil penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa penyimpangan maksim kesantunan berbahasa lebih banyak dibandingkan dengan pemenuhan maksim kesantunan pada film kartun  Spongebob Squarepants. Pada penelitian ini dapat diimplikasikan terhadap pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia, yaitu pembelajaran dalam teks diskusi kelas IX SMP. Kata kunci: maksim kesantunan, kartun, Spongebob Squarepants
