Hypertension is a condition of systolic pressure above 140 mmHg and diastolic above 90 mmHg. Hypertension is more prevalent in elderly people aged 55 years and over, as we age, blood pressure increases. Hypertension can cause complications including heart damage, stroke, kidney failure. Non-pharmacological therapy to reduce blood pressure is one of them by using watermelon which has potassium content in helping the heart work and normalizes blood pressure. The purpose of this study was to analyze the differences in the effectiveness of the administration of watermelon juice for 5 days and 7 days against changes in blood pressure in elderly people with hypertension. The study used the True Experimental method with Randomized Pre-Post Test Design. The sampling technique uses Simple Random Sampling with the number of respondents as many as 36 elderly people divided into two treatment groups. The results of the Wilcoxcon test for administration of watermelon juice for 5 days obtained p = 0,000 (0.05) and the watermelon juice supply for 7 days obtained p = 0,000 (0.05), meaning that there was a change in blood pressure before and after watermelon juice administration watermelon juice for 5 days and 7 days. The results of the Mann-Whitney test comparing the two groups obtained systolic values p = 0.490 ( 0.05) and diastolic p = 0.732 ( 0.05) meaning that there was no difference in the effectiveness of the watermelon juice for 5 days and 7 days for changes in blood pressure. Based on the results of the analysis there was no difference in the long-term effectiveness of giving watermelon juice for 5 days and 7 days to changes in blood pressure in elderly people with hypertension. This therapy is equally effective in lowering blood pressure, so that more effective consumption of watermelon juice for 5 days has been able to reduce blood pressure.

There are four treatments for depression in the elderly, namely psychological, medical, spiritual and physical approaches. Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR) therapy makes the body relax. feeling calm so tension is reduced. With a feeling of relaxation and calm, individuals will find it easier to feel calm in their thoughts and feelings. Aim Knowing the effect of Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR) therapy on depression in the elderly. Experimental research with Quasi experimental design pre and post test with control group. The sampling technique is simple random sampling. The sample consisted of 40 elderly people, who were divided into two groups, namely the intervention group and the control group. Measurement of depression scores using the Geriatric Depression Scale (GDS) questionnaire with a total of 15 questions. Data analysis using Paired Sample T Test test. There was a decrease in depression scores after being treated with Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR) therapy in the intervention group, with p = 0.000 (p <0.05). This shows that there is a change in depression scores experienced by the elderly after being given Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR) Therapy. Therapy Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR) can be applied as a non-pharmacological therapy at the Panti Tresna Werdha (PSTW).

This study aims to analyze the effect of vertigo (canalit reposition treatment) exercise on body balance in vertigo patients and treatments. The specific purpose of this research is to identify the balance of the body in the control group and the design in this study is a Quasy Experimental study using a Static Group Comparison / Non Exuivalent Group Design research design approach. The hallmark of this research is revealing a causal relationship by looking at one treatment group compared to the control group. The treatment group was observed body balance before vertigo gymnastic intervention (canalit reposition treatment), then observed again after vertigo gymnastic intervention (canalit reposition treatment), while the control group only observed body balance without giving treatment. The population in this study were patients who were hospitalized with simple random sampling technique. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires and observations, then the data was processed and analyzed using the Wilcox statistical test with α 0.05.Based on the results of research that has been done obtained from the Wilcoxon test in the treatment group obtained α = 0,000. While from the control group, the result α = 0.003 This means that there is an influence between Vertigo Gymnastics (Canalit Reposition Treatment) on Body Balance in Vertigo Patients. However, there were differences between the treatment and control groups. Based on these results, the Vertigo Gymnastics (Canalit Reposition Treatment) affects the body’s balance in Vertigo patients. We are confident that Vertigo Gymnastics (Canalite Reposition Treatment) can be used in Vertigo patients in dealing with disorders of body balance as a companion therapy in addition to pharmacological therapy. With Vertigo Gymnastics (Canalite Reposition Treatment), balance disorders can be resolved immediately and the problem of comfort disorders in patients will be resolved as soon as possible.

Hypertension is a non-communicable disease which increases every year, with the increasing incidence of Hypertension will have an impact on society, namely a decrease in health status which results in a decrease in the quality of life. Management of hypertension can be done with non-pharmacological therapy, one of the non-pharmacological therapies chosen by the community, namely complementary therapy, neck massage therapy using VCO and cupping is a complementary therapy that aims to reduce hypertension. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The sample in this study 16 respondents were given neck massage therapy with VCO and 16 respondents were given dry cupping therapy. The data analysis used was the Spearman rank because the data were not normally distributed. Before being given neck massage therapy with a mean VCO, systolic blood pressure was 156.25, diastolic blood pressure was 87.50 after being given a mean value of 124.38 and diastolic 81.25 with a systolic p value of 0.000 while for diastolic blood pressure of 0.008. Whereas in the group given dry cupping therapy systolic blood pressure with a mean of 158.82 and diastole a mean of 90.59, after being given dry cupping therapy, systolic blood pressure was 124.71 while diastole was 78.82 with a systolic p value of 0.000 and diastole of 0.009. The difference in blood pressure in the two interventions for the system p value was 0.968 while for diastole the p value was 0.625, which means there was no difference between the two interventions. So it can be concluded that both neck massage therapy with VCO and dry cupping therapy can reduce blood pressure in patients with hypertension.
