Hair dye use is very common among both Men & Women. Hair dye users are increasing day by day coloring of hair is performed not only by professionals but also a popular cosmetic product. Hair dye is used mostly to change gray hair, since gray hair is a sign of an advanced age. Most of them are using hair dye in our home. Earlier natural hair dyes were used but now due to advancement in cosmetic industry, different types have been developed. There has been concern about hair dye since scientist is trying to find out if there is a link between hair color and cancer.

Background The association between personal hair dye use and breast cancer risk is currently debated. The aim of this work is to investigate the association between the use of hair care products and breast cancer risk in women. Methods Based on the PRISMA-IPD statement, the PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, Web of Science, OVID and Scopus databases were used to identify eligible studies published from inception to 22 April 2020. A pooled odds ratio (OR) with a 95% confidential interval (CI) was calculated to assess this correlation via fixed- or random-effect Mantel-Haenszel models using a heterogeneity Chi2 test with a significance level of p<0.1. All statistical tests were performed using StataSE software (version 12.0). Results The analyzed data comprised 14 eligible studies with 210319 unique subjects. The pooled results suggested that there was a significant association between the use of hair dyes and breast cancer occurrence (pooled OR = 1.07; 95% CI, 1.01–1.13). Regarding the individual analysis regarding the different types of hair chemicals, permanent hair dye users (pooled OR = 1.08; 95% CI, 1.03–1.14) and rinse users (pooled OR = 1.17; 95% CI, 1.02–1.35) were both found to have a significantly elevated breast cancer risk compared to natural hair subjects, whereas there was an insignificant relationship between the use of semipermanent hair dyes (pooled OR = 1.09; 95% CI, 0.92–1.28) and straighteners (pooled OR = 1.04; 95% CI, 0.96–1.14) and breast cancer risk. No impact on the overall correlation between hair dyes and breast cancer risk due to race (White vs non-White) (pooled OR = 1.05; 95% CI, 0.86–1.29), timing of use (<10 years vs ≥10 years) (pooled OR = 0.96; 95% CI, 0.85–1.08) or dye color (Darker than natural hair vs Lighter than natural hair) (pooled OR = 0.91; 95% CI, 0.62–1.32) was found. Conclusions Chemicals in hair dyes may play a role in breast carcinogenesis and increase breast cancer risk.

Background: In recent time, people love online shopping but before any shopping feedbacks or reviews always required. These feedbacks help customers in decision making for buying any product or availing any service. In the country like India this trend of online shopping is increasing very rapidly because awareness and the use of internet which is increasing day by day. As result numbers of customers and their feedbacks are also increasing. It is creating a problem that how to read all reviews manually. So there should be some computerized mechanism that provides customers a summary without spending time in reading feedbacks. Besides big number of reviews another problem is that reviews are not structured. Objective: In this paper, we try to design, implement and compare two algorithms with manual approach for the crossed domain Product’s reviews. Methods: Lexicon based model is used and different types of reviews are tested and analyzed to check the performance of these algorithms. Results: Algorithm based on opinions and feature based opinions are designed, implemented, applied and compared with the manual results and it is found that algorithm # 2 is performing better than algorithm # 1 and near to manual results. Conclusion: Algorithm # 2 is found better on the different product’s reviews and still to be applied on other product’s reviews to enhance its scope. Finally, it will be helpful to automate existing manual process.

Environmental degradation has occurred due to the recent activities in the field of socio-economic, institute and technology. Poverty still remains a problem as the root of several environmental problems to create awareness among the people about the ill effect of environmental pollution. In the whole research it is clear that all factors of environmental degradation may be reduced through- Framing the new laws on environmental degradation, Environment friend policy, Controlling all the ways and means of noise, air, soil and water pollution, Through growing more and more trees and by adapting the proper sanitation policy.

The mechanism of alopecia areata (AA) is not well-elucidated, and hair follicle melanogenesis pathways are implicated as possible sources for autoantigens. After a retrospective medical record review at a single tertiary medical center, the hair color of 112 AA patients were identified and compared to a control group of 104 androgenetic alopecia patients. There were no statistically significant differences in the natural hair color prevalence between the 2 groups (<i>p</i> = 0.164), and hair color was not a predictor of the alopecia type. Our results suggest hair pigmentation, determined by the eumelanin-to-pheomelanin ratio, is not a positive risk factor for AA development. We hope that our study will encourage multiple large-scale, collaborative, retrospective medical reviews to determine if our results are reproducible in diverse patient populations.

In this paper we deal with control mechanism of different types of motors used in EVs mainly DC, IM, BLDC and PMSM motors. The paper contains proper MATLAB modelling and speed vs time graph so as to achieve a proper understanding regarding aspects of speed control and problems related to it.

Depression is one of the most commonly observed medical conditions. Studies about the depression and life satisfaction is increasing day by day. Untreated depression may lead to unexpected earlier deaths and has negative impacts on the patient’s general health conditions. On the other hand with the proper treatment, life quality could be enhanced. Moreover life satisfaction level is also seen as an important factor which is related with life quality and which is usually coordinated together with the depression. There are different types and explanations of depression. In this study, we tried to explain the prevalence, diagnosis criterias, risk factors, etiology and description of depression. In addition to this, relationship between depression and life satisfaction is tried to be explained. Purpose of this review study is to explain depression, it’s risk factors and the importance of life satisfaction.

Background: Despite its association with a number of side effects, hair dye use is common worldwide. Objective: To explore the local side effects of hair dye use and to relate these effects to features of hair dyeing. Methods: A questionnaire about hair dye use was distributed to a random sample of 650 female patients at various outpatient clinics in 2008. Results: A total of 567 females returned the questionnaire (87.2% response rate). Of these respondents, 82.6% (464 of 562) had used hair dye products in the past. The mean age at first use was 22.23 ± 7.05 years, and the median time between two consecutive dyes was 6 months. Of these respondents, 76.8% (354 of 461) used permanent dyes. Participants reported that they suffered skin redness caused by hair dyes (15.1%, 65 of 431), had scaling (14.4%, 60 of 417), or had itchiness (31.3%, 134 of 428). In addition, 74% (262 of 354) of the participants reported that they had issues with the texture or condition of hair following hair dye use; 77.7% (314 of 404) reported split ends, whereas 69.6% (273 of 392) reported hair dryness, 69.4% (256 of 369) lusterless hair, 77.2% (308 of 399) excessive hair loss, and 53.6% (210 of 392) excessive hair graying. Furthermore, 55.1% (196 of 356) of the participants reported a slowing of hair growth. The total number of hair dyeing events was associated with increased hair loss (p = .04) and excessive graying (p < .001) after controlling for all relevant variables. Conclusion: Hair dye is associated with local side effects to the skin and hair. Increased public awareness of these risks could help inform consumer choices and reduce excessive use.

2-Methyl-5-Hydroxyethylaminophenol is used in oxidative hair dyes as a coupler at concentrations ranging from ≤ 0.1 to 5.0%. Only slight absorption was observed in skin studies. The LD50 of the ingredient in mice ranged from 2.5 to 3.84 g/kg. The ingredient was less of an irritant when tested alone than when tested in hair dye formulations. The compound is neither a mutagen nor a teratogen. 2-Methyl-5-Hydroxyethylaminophenol was classified as a nonirritant and weak sensitizer in human studies. Precautionary statements and instructions for patch testing are required on the label when used in oxidative hair dyes. On the basis of the available data included in the report, 2-Methyl-5-Hydroxyethylaminophenol is considered to be safe for use in the present practices of use and concentrations.
