The emergence of virtual water concept originated from the awareness about thedepletion of water supplies from the world today that require us to begin to think of waysto save the water. The concept which has revealed the reality of paradoxical transfer ofwater from water surplus areas to water crisis areas in virtual has been applied by somecountries that began experiencing water scarcity is currently in its international tradeactivities. This paper aims to review the concept of virtual water, based on a review ofseveral papers and articles dealing with related themes. This paper also explained about the definition of virtual water, how is it calculated, and the significance of this concept in relation to international water trading and water conservation movement globally.

Nowadays, green building issue has become very important. The main reason is that buildings consume much of natural resources, in the middle of world energy and water crisis which is happening around the world. The goal of this research is to find out how much water saving that P1 and P2 building can achieve by applying the concepts of water saving fixture usage, rainwater harvesting, and grey water recycling. This saving is related to how many points that bulding can potentially achieve for WAC 1 to WAC 6 credit according to Greenship for New Building version 1.2 standard.   To predict water consumption at P1 and P2 buildings, a questionnaire survey was conducted. Occupants of P, W, and T buildings of Petra Christian University Surabaya were randomly chosen as respondents. As the result of this research, P1 and P2 building original design is potential to achieve 17 points out of total 20 points. Suggestions are proposed to perfect the design of P1 and P2 building in order to achieve maximum 20 points.

One of the ways to solve the problem of water supply upgrading is to improve the spatial organization of global economic activity on the basis of a deeper accounting and rational use of the water factor. The study of the costs of the so-called “virtual water” in the context of countries and branches of the world economy can play an important role therein. The concept of «virtual water» as well as the essence of definition of «the water footprint of a product» is revealed. The possibility of considering them as synonyms in scientific research is justified. The achievements of foreign scientists in research related to «virtual water» and its consumption of various sectors of the world economy and countries worldwide are shown. The article emphasizes that according to the concept of «virtual water», revealed by Allan J.A. in his works, it could serve as an additional source of water for countries with an arid climate through its import and export as a part of finished goods (as «the water footprint»). The paper highlights the list of countries with the largest volumes of export and import of «virtual water» through the comprehensive analysis of foreign publications on «the water footprint of a product». On the basis of the correlation analysis it is proved that the tight connection between the countries’ water availability and their export of «virtual water» is almost absent (R = 0,24). On the contrary, the correlation coefficient between the water resources availability of the main importing countries of «virtual water» and the volumes of their imports is high (R = 0.76).Consequently, «virtual water» nowadays partly affects the global commodity policy and the development of economic activity worldwide. In the future, with the growth of the water factor, the role as well as the importance of «virtual water» will increase, which in turn will pose amendments in world production and international trade.

Water is the lifeline of any nation’s richness and development. We should conserve water for future generations as it can be big trouble for the country. Since ancient times, the region of high prosperity for water resources was considered a subcontinent, but today like other countries of the world, India's water crisis problem, is vivid. India is the world's largest groundwater extractor, pumping about twenty-five percent of the world's groundwater use annually. Five of the world's 20 largest cities in water stress are in India, with Delhi in second place. India has 16% of the world's population and only 4% of the world's water resources, which are rapidly reducing. Daily struggles for the fetching water, mismanagement of wastewater, improper sanitation are common features affecting human health and the economy of the nation indirectly. The situation calls for widespread intrusion in the management of this rapidly growing problem. The water crisis will not go away on its own. On the contrary, it will deteriorate until we respond as a global community and use water responsibly. Therefore, before it is too late, let us all pledge to use water wool as individuals, families, communities, companies, and institutions. Intelligence is not in elegance, but preservation so that our future generations can enjoy the joy and touch of water.

The springboard for this essay is the author’s encounter with the feeling of horror and her attempts to understand what place horror has in philosophy. The inquiry relies upon Leonid Lipavsky’s “Investigation of Horror” and on various textual plunges into the fanged and clawed (and possibly noumenal) abyss of Nick Land’s work. Various experiences of horror are examined in order to build something of a typology, while also distilling the elements characteristic of the experience of horror in general. The essay’s overall hypothesis is that horror arises from a disruption of the usual ways of determining the boundaries between external things and the self, and this leads to a distinction between three subtypes of horror. In the first subtype, horror begins with the indeterminacy at the boundaries of things, a confrontation with something that defeats attempts to define it and thereby calls into question the definition of the self. In the second subtype, horror springs from the inability to determine one’s own boundaries, a process opposed by the crushing determinacy of the world. In the third subtype, horror unfolds by means of a substitution of one determinacy by another which is unexpected and ungrounded. In all three subtypes of horror, the disturbance of determinacy deprives the subject, the thinking entity, of its customary foundation for thought, and even of an explanation of how that foundation was lost; at times this can lead to impairment of the perception of time and space. Understood this way, horror comes within a hair’s breadth of madness - and may well cross over into it.
