Gadgets are a result of the development of information technology. Gadgets are multi-functional media that are not only used as a medium of communication but also as a medium of information and recreation. With this small device, a wireless gadget can be carried and used anywhere. Not a few people are addicted to gadgets, including children. This dependence can be caused because gadgets help in work, it can also be due to dependency due to hobbies so that it becomes "addictive". Social development must be honed from an early age. It will be an obstacle if children prefer to play with gadgets, because it will reduce children's interactions with parents, siblings, peers, or other people. Social development in children will not be optimal due to the lack of interaction. Here, parenting styles from parents are needed in managing the use of gadgets in children

The development of psychomotor skills in childhood enables children to organise the outside world through their bodies, contributing to their intellectual, affective, and social development. The present study aimed to longitudinally evaluate the psychomotor profile, throughout three academic years, of 3, 4 and 5-year-olds belonging to the second cycle of infant school, relating it descriptively to academic performance. The sample consisted of 82 subjects aged between 3 and 6 years throughout the study. The distribution of the sample was homogeneous, with 47.6% boys (n = 39) and 52.4% girls (n = 43). The results not only highlight the importance of the development and stimulation of motor skills from an early age for the overall development of the child, but also, when related to previous studies, show how they influence the development of human beings in adulthood.

Pola asuh adalah karakteristik yang dimiliki orang tua dalam pengasuhan pada anak yang dilakukan secara berkelanjutan. Ada tiga jenis pola asuh yang biasa diterapkan oleh orang tua yaitu demokratis, permisif dan otoriter (Baumrind, 2010). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola asuh yang diterapkan oleh orang tua tunggal pada anak usia dini. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan teknik perekrutan partisipan secara purposive sampling. Kriteria perekrutan partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah orangtua tunggal yang memiliki anak usia dini dan ada 60 partisipan, 9 laki-laki dan 51 perempuan, yang memenuhi kriteria tersebut. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner melalui google form kepada para partisipan tesebut selama enam bulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada 51,4% partisipan penelitian yang menerapkan pola asuh demokratis, 27,9% menerapkan pola asuh otoriter dan 20,7% menerapkan pola asuh permisif pada anak usia dini. Parenting is a set of characteristic that parents have in caring for their children on a sustainable manner. There are three types of parenting styles that are usually applied by parents, namely democratic, permissive and authoritarian (Baumrind, 2010). This research aims to determine the parenting styles that applied by single parents in early childhood. This research is a descriptive study using a quantitative approach and purposive sampling technique. The inclusion criteria for participants recruitment was single parent who has early age children and there were 9 male and 51 female participants who met this criteria. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires to those participants for six months. The results of this study indicate that there are 51,4% of study participants who apply democratic parenting, 27.9% apply authoritarian parenting and 20.7% apply permissive parenting in early childhood.

Ian Morris a társadalmi fejlődés (social development) fogalmával az emberi közösségek képességét fejezi ki „dolgok elintézésére” a világban. Az így értelmezett társadalmi fejlettség mérhető és összehasonlító állapotokat jelent, térben és időben. Morris 4 tényező (az energiafelhasználás, a társadalmi szerveződés, az információtechnológia és a hadviselő kapacitás) kvantifikálásával megszerkesztett indexét kifejtő könyvéből az információtechnológiára vonatkozó, a többihez hasonlóan a Kelet és a Nyugat összehasonlítására épülő fejezetet fordítottuk le. Úttörő okfejtései és becslései remek kiindulópontok, hogy újraértékeljük és alaposan végiggondoljuk az információtechnológia helyét és „küldetését” a beavatkozásképesség, a cselekvési hatékonyság szempontjából. From this approach, “social development is - in principle - something we can measure and compare through time and space”. The Social Development Index of Morris is based on the quantifiable attributes of four pillars: energy capture, social organization, information technology, war-making capacity, comparing the numbers of the West and the East. We have translated and published the information technology chapter of his book with Laszlo Z. Karvalics’ introduction to support the re-evaluation of the role and mission of information technology throughout the ages from a special point of view: to facilitate the ability to act effectively.

With the continuous development of various modern information technologies, Chinese economic and social development has entered a brand new stage.
