<p>ABSTRACT<br />Karangantu Archipelagic Fishing Port (Karangantu AFP/PPN Karangantu) has been appointed as regional fisheries industry (formerly minapolitan), sub-sector of catch fisheries since 2010. Today, the development of the fisheries industry one of them is processing industry still undeveloped as the result of lack of area / specific industrial land in PPN Karangantu. In addition, there is no information about the superior fish landed in PPN Karangantu as raw material. This study aims to: (1) Determine the potential of fish catches landed in PPN Karangantu as raw material processing industry; (2) Obtain production alternatives for raw material surrounding fishing port that supports processing industry in PPN Karangantu. The results of this research indicated that there were 7 types of fish that had a positive value of LQ growth with a score is 3 there are squid, mackerel, kuniran, kurisi, sardine, tuna and sea-catfish. LQ score of 3 indicates that the types of fish are concentrated relatively in PPN Karangantu and can be developed in the future become a raw material for processing industry at PPN Karangantu. Alternative production of raw material can be obtained from PPI Kepuh PPI Wadas, PPI Terale, and PPI Lontarby the type of fish that are depend to the needs of processors in PPN Karangantu and brought by the sea or via land transportation.</p><p>Keywords: Karangantu archipelagic fishing port, processing fish, raw materials, superior potential,</p><p>--------</p><p><br />ABSTRAK</p><p>Pelabuhan Perikanan Nusantara (PPN) Karangantu telah ditunjuk sebagai kawasan industri perikanan (sebelumnya minapolitan) subsektor perikanan tangkap sejak 2010. Namun, perkembangan industri perikanan salah satunya pengolahan ikan masih belum optimal sebagai akibat belum adanya kawasan/lahan khusus industri di PPN Karangantu. Selain itu, belum ada informasi mengenai ikan unggulan yang didaratkan di PPN Karangantu sebagai bahan baku olahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui potensi ikan-ikan hasil tangkapan unggulan yang didaratkan di PPN Karangantu sebagai bahan baku industri pengolahan; (2) mendapatkan alternatif produksi hasil tangkapan dari pelabuhan perikanan sekitarnya yang mendukung industri pengolahan ikan di PPN Karangantu. Metode penelitian adalah studi kasus terhadap potensi unggulan industri pengolahan ikan di PPN Karangantu. Jumlah responden ditentukan secara purposive sampling, terdiri dari nelayan, pedagang, pengolah ikan, pengelola Dinas Perikanan Kota Serang dan pengelola PPN Karangantu. Analisis data menggunakan Location Quotient (LQ) untuk mencari ikan hasil tangkapan unggulan di PPN Karangantu dan analisis kekuatan hasil tangkapan untuk mengetahui karakteristik ikan bahan baku industri pengolahan ikan di PPN Karangantu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 7 jenis ikan yang memiliki nilai pertumbuhan LQ positif dengan skor 3 yaitu cumi-cumi, kembung, kuniran, kurisi, lemuru, tongkol dan manyung. Skor LQ 3 mengindikasikan bahwa jenis-jenis ikan tersebut terkonsentrasi pendaratannya secara relatif di PPN Karangantu dan dapat terus dikembangkan menjadi bahan baku industri pengolahan ikan di PPN Karangantu.</p><p><br />Kata kunci: PPN Karangantu, pengolahan ikan, bahan baku, potensi unggulan</p>

Vietnam’s forestry policies have expanded the area of planted forests in order to meet the supply of raw materials for the timber processing industry. However, the diversity and volume of demand in the industry have also increased, and a shortage of raw materials can be assumed. For clarifying the correspondence of stakeholders, we explore changes in the resource supply behavior of forestry companies and procurement strategies of companies that manufacture lumber for glued laminated timber, medium density fiberboard (MDF) and wood pellets. Next, we discuss issues and future developments surrounding the supply and demand for timber from planted forests. According to a survey of Quang Tri Province, both industrial and on-farm tree planting play an important role in Vietnam’s wood industry. The origin of the supply has been categorized according to its purpose (products). On the other hand, with the declining supply of imported timber and natural forest timber, inquiries from sawmills and glued laminated timber factories for timber from planted forests have increased, and wood pellet manufacturers are facing competition for raw material procurement with MDF manufacturers, and the supply of timber from planted forests is becoming scarce. The key to the solution lies in improving the low productivity of current on-farm tree planting. To this end, forming farmer groups upon the acquisition of forest certification will help achieve economies of scale and bargaining power.

The procurement of raw materials for the red chili processing industry, the majority still comes from traders / suppliers. Chili starts procurement, processing to obtain added value, until marketing should be able to anticipate the limitations of the rights of farmers / gapotan groups that are more burdened with obligations. This paper aims to examine and express the role and benefits of chilli in the processing of red chillies to the marketing of processed products, related to efforts to accelerate the development of processing and agribusiness industries to improve the welfare of red chilli farmers. The benefits of partnership for farmer groups are the existence of market certainty, and relatively stable profits. The benefit for partners is the certainty of obtaining raw materials in accordance with the required specifications. The partner still gives the opportunity to sell to the free market if the price is better. The partnership development perspective is still very open, among others due to: (a) both parties obtain mutually beneficial benefits; (b) demand for processed products increases along with population growth. processing business is the transfer of raw material into highly-processed processed products that are able to meet the high demands of quality and hygienic (GMP) processed product requirements, as well as closely related to the increase in income from the acquisition of product value that is expected to realize and prosper farmers and businessmen , able to create jobs and increase interest in young workers on agriculture. The importance of changing the old mindset and paradigm of agriculture through the empowerment and development of chillies in processing and red chili processed agribusiness products is expected to be able to power the development of industrialization and the economy in rural areas.

The evolution of enterprise in the West Kazakhstan region is subject to fluctuations due to both the general cyclical nature of economic development and the impact of various external and internal factors on this industry, as also fluctuations unavoidable in the evolution process. The priorities for sustainable evolution of the regional agro-industrial complex of the West Kazakhstan region should be identified through analysis. The goal of the research is to study the effective and sustainable development of the agro-industrial complex of the West Kazakhstan region. Through studies this topic, the statistical-economic method, analysis and synthesis were used. Sustainable development of the agro-industrial complex of both a particular region and the country as a whole is impossible without the stable functioning of its core - agriculture, the final product of which is used by the processing industry, whose goal is to provide the population with high-quality products in volumes that meet their requirements. Current state of agricultural production, as the analysis shows, is characterized by an increase in the influence of unfavorable factors on production, first of all natural ones, which cause annual differences in the production of gross crop production, which, in turn, convey fluctuations to the livestock industry and, as a result, affects the processing industries. it is the raw material of the industry. In the course of the study, it was found that, since 2015, in the territory of the West Kazakhstan region, there has been a sharp decline in agricultural production, which led to a decrease in the stability of production in general, and in the fields of crop and livestock production, which continues to the present. A decrease in the sustainability of production in the raw materials sector of the agro-industrial complex entailed an increase in fluctuations in the production of products of the processing industry, which ultimately resulted in the emergence of an instability in the supply of food to the population. Further development of the agro-industrial complex of the West Kazakhstan region, aimed at increasing the productivity and profitability of its industries, requires the modernization and re-equipment of production, the development of its infrastructure and the formation of industry clusters.

Soybean is the main crop of the palawija system which is commonly applied in Indonesia. In the national economic system, soybean is a commodity owning strategic values due to its ability to supply nutrients needed by the community and a source of income for farmers. Demand for soybean is likely to continue to increase in line with population growth, increase in per capita income, increase in public awareness of nutritional adequacy, and the development of livestock preparation and silage industries. Given the high trend of soybean demand in the future, efforts to increase domestic soybean production are becoming increasingly important. Meanwhile in the future, the policy to protect domestic soybean farmers will be limited due to the demands of free trade. Considering that soybean is consumed in the form of processed food, the increasing demand for soybeans in the future indicates that there will be more opportunities for the development of home industries to produce this food. The need for soybeans as raw material for agro-industry cannot currently be met by domestic soybean production, both in terms of quality and quantity. This causes the need for imported soybeans to be even greater. Domestic soybean production, both in quality and quantity, seems to be unable to meet the soybean needed for industrial raw materials, thus causing a higher tendency for imported soybean demand. Therefore, import tariff policies in the face of world trade liberalization must be regulated in such a way by taking into account the interests of producers, consumers, and the government. This policy is still needed in realizing the independence of export quality soybeans. Kedelai adalah tanaman utama Sistem Palawija yang umum diterapkan di Indonesia. Dalam sistem perekonomian nasional, kedelai menjadi komoditas yang memiliki nilai strategis karena memiliki kemampuan untuk memasok hara yang dibutuhkan oleh masyarakat dan merupakan sumber pendapatan bagi petani. Permintaan kedelai akan terus meningkat seiring dengan adanya peningkatan jumlah penduduk, pertambahan pendapatan perkapita tiap penduduk, meningkatnya kesadaran masyarakat akan gizi yang cukup, serta berkembangnya industri persiapan dan silase ternak. Melihat masih tingginya trend permintaan kedelai di masa datang, upaya peningkatan produksi kedelai di dalam negeri menjadi semakin penting. Sementara itu di masa depan kebijaksanaan untuk melindungi petani kedelai di dalam negeri semakin terbatas peluangnya karena tuntutan perdagangan bebas. Mengingat sebagaian besar kedelai dikonsumsi dalam bentuk bahan pangan olahan, meningkatnya permintaan kedelai di masa depan menunjukkan semakin terbukanya peluang pengembangan industri rumah tangga untuk memproduksi bahan pangan tersebut. Kebutuhan akan kedelai sebagai bahan baku agroindustri saat ini tidak dapat dipenuhi oleh produksi kedelai dalam negeri baik dari segi kualitas maupun kuantitas. Hal ini menyebabkan kebutuhan akan kedelai impor akan semakin besar. Kedelai yang dibutuhkan untuk bahan baku industri tampaknya tidak dapat dipenuhi oleh produksi kedelai dalam negeri, baik kualitas maupun kuantitasnya, sehingga menyebabkan kecenderungan permintaan kedelai impor semakin tinggi. Oleh karena itu, kebijakan tarif impor dalam menghadapi liberalisasi perdagangan dunia harus diatur sedemikian rupa dengan memperhatikan kepentingan produsen, konsumen, dan pemerintah. Kebijakan ini tetap diperlukan dalam mewujudkan kemandirian kedelai kualitas ekspor.

Rubber wood and bamboo is an important natural resource to be developed as residential and industrial raw materials which are the raw material of commercial products. The presence of rubber wood and bamboo needs to be supported by the preservation and processing industry in order to be optimally utilized. Rubber wood has physical properties, mechanical and chemical equivalent of natural forest wood. properties of rubber wood used in rural as well fuel wood rafters to corral. While bamboo also has certain advantages compared to wood because it is easily preserved, processed and have a high elasticity While bamboo is used as a wall of the house after the split and created a kind of bamboo called palupuhan/gedek. Made simple, just the process of drying in the hot sun. Durability palupuhan/gedek could reach 10 years, but must be used in place are protected from rain. Приоритет Стратегии развития пищевой и перерабатывающей промышленности Российской Федерации до 2020 года – обеспечение населения страны безопасным и качественным продовольствием. Сырьевая база овощеперерабатывающей промышленности – основа производства. Как инвесторы, так и государство предпринимают конкретные меры для решения проблем. Вместе с тем, несмотря на динамику улучшения, многие проблемы остаются нерешенными. Темпы роста производства овощного сырья недостаточны для промышленности и сдерживают рост производства из отечественного сырья. Это объясняет высокий уровень импорта.The priority of the Strategy of development of the food and processing industry of the Russian Federation until 2020 is to provide the population with safe and quality food. The raw material base of the vegetable processing industry is the basis of production. Both investors and the state are taking concrete measures to solve the problems. However, despite the momentum for improvement, many challenges remain. The growth rate of vegetable raw materials production is not enough for the industry and hinders the growth of production from domestic raw materials. This explains the high level of imports.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji ketersediaan bahan baku dan skala pemasaran industri pengolahan hasil perikanan di Kabupaten Konawe Selatan. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada tahun 2017 dan 2018 dengan menggunakan data primer dan sekunder. Data primer diperoleh melalui kuesioner yang didistribusikan kepada 21 responden pelaku usaha. Data sekunder diperoleh melalui publikasi Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS), Dinas Kelautan dan Perikanan, serta Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan Kabupaten Konawe Selatan. Data diolah melalui analisis deskriptif dan SWOT. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kekuatan industri pengolahan hasil perikanan di Kabupaten Konawe Selatan karena bahan baku bersumber dari potensi lokal, namun kelemahannya adalah bahan baku tersebut masih fluktuatif. Kendala bahan baku dialami khususnya oleh industri fermentasi, pengasapan, dan pengeringan ikan. Selain faktor musiman, ketersediaan bahan baku juga terkendala karena bahan baku sebagian besar berasal dari nelayan tradisional dengan struktur armada perikanan yang didominasi oleh nelayan skala kecil. Dengan demikian, pengembangan industri hasil perikanan mensyaratkan perbaikan di sektor hulu melalui sinergitas kebijakan penanganan keterbatasan bahan baku dari berbagai lembaga terkait. Sementara itu, temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 24% unit usaha telah menembus pasar nasional. Ketersediaan bahan baku juga terkendala karena 28% telah menembus pasar regional, sisanya 48% hanya mampu memasarkan produknya di wilayah lokal. Kelompok industri yang hanya menjangkau skala lokal, yaitu industri pelumatan, pengasapan, dan pemindangan, serta beberapa usaha makanan olahan hasil perikanan. Bagi industri yang mengalami jangkauan pasar yang rendah akibat minimnya ketersediaan bahan baku, maka dapat menggunakan bahan baku pengganti namun tetap mempertahankan kualitas produk sesuai dengan selera pasar.Title: Fish Processing Industry in South Konawe Regency,  South East SulawesiThis study aimed to examine the availability of raw materials and the marketing scale of fish processing industry in South Konawe Regency. This research was conducted in 2017 and 2018 using primary and secondary data. Primary data were collected through questionnaires from 21 respondents. Secondary data were collected from Statistics Indonesia, Fisheries and Marine Affairs Office, and Industry and Trade Affairs of South Konawe Regency. Data were analyzed with descriptive analysis and SWOT analysis. The results found that raw material from local sources is the major force of fish processing industry. However, the fluctuating condition of its availability becomes the weakness. Fermentation, smoked fish, and dried fish processing industries suffer from this raw material problems. In addition, the availability of raw materials also largely depends on fishing results from small-scale traditional fishers. Therefore, the development of the fish industries need some specific improvement in the upstream section through the synergy on policies regarding raw material management from related institutions. Meanwhile, the research finding showed that 24% of business units have penetrated national market 28% have penetrated regional market, while the remaining 48% have only penetrated local market. The local industries were pulverized, smoked fish, fish brine, and some other fish processing industries. Those who could only reach small market area due to limited availability of raw materials are able to use substitute materials in a similar quality of market preferences.

Water is the basic ingredient necessary for the maintenance of life of people and makes 60 - 70% of body weight. It is the most important ingredient in the tissue of plants and animals. In addition, water is one of the most important raw materials in industry. Due to irresponsible use of water in the past, there is great danger that humanity will have serious problems in the future, both in terms of water quantity and in terms of water quality. It is still not too late that from this point forward, all of humanity take austerity measures and water conservation as a strategic raw material in the future. Every individual and every community, both individual and joint efforts can at least mitigate this problem. Quality and hygiene of drinking water and water as raw materials in the food industry today are the parameters of quality of life, of which each local community must take more into account. The paper analyzes the situation in water abstraction from the wells that supplied Srbac drinking water, and chemical and microbiological quality of water in the aquifer, the water supply network and the reach of water consumption in the period from 2005-2009. The results obtained in this paper suggest that the appreciation of the applicable regulations in this area and conscientious work of all participants in the supply chain can affect the water today for the needs of the population can provide a satisfactory water quality, and at the same time can preserve water reserves for future generations.

CV. Icha Collection Pemalang is an industry engaged in the manufacture of bags and wallets. For the manufacture of bags in particular is the LC Type Women's Bags. The problem in this study that arises is the supply of raw materials. Raw material inventory is where there is a delay in the delivery of raw materials in the case of an expedition. This study aims to plan the supply of raw materials at an efficient cost so that raw material needs do not experience obstacles. This research will discuss the planning of LC Bag Type OL with raw material (optimization of lot sizing) on the MRP system. The analysis technique used is plotting past request data, forecasting the future, and MRP. The results of this study are the application of the Lot Sizing method, Part Balancing Period for each raw material for Women Bags Type LC in CV. Icha Collection Pemalang can minimize the total cost of inventory. The Part Balancing Period method has the lowest total inventory cost for each raw material and optimizes 91.33% of raw material inventory. Keyword : MRP, Raw material inventory CV. Icha Collection Pemalang merupakan indusri yang bergerak di bidang pembuatan tas dan dompet, khususnya Tas Wanita Type LC. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah persediaan bahan baku, dimana terjadi keterlambatan pengiriman bahan baku dalam hal ekspedisi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merencanakan persediaan bahan baku dengan biaya yang efisien sehingga kebutuhan bahan baku tidak mengalami kendala. Penelitian ini akan membahas perencanaan bahan baku Tas Wanita Type LC dengan OLOS (optimalisasi lot sizing) pada sistem MRP. Teknik analisis yang dilakukan yaitu mengeplot data pemintaan masa lalu, peramalan, dan MRP. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah penerapan metode Lot Sizing, Part Periode Balancing untuk setiap bahan baku Tas Wanita Type LC di CV. Icha Collection Pemalang dapat meminimalkan biaya total persediaan. Metode Part Periode Balancing mempunyai total biaya persediaan paling rendah untuk setiap bahan bakunya dan mengoptimalkan 91,33% persediaan bahan baku.Kata Kunci: MRP, persediaan bahan baku.

Production of meat and meat products is one of the key segments of domestic processing industry. In 2018, its share in total food production in Ukraine reached 17.78% (vs. 15.93% in 2013). At the same time, the main problem holding back the development of this segment is the reduction of the raw material base for the industrial processing of meat due to the crisis in animal husbandry, especially in pig and cattle breeding. The purpose of the article is to define the problems and to outline the prospects for the development of meat processing manufacturing in Ukraine, given the current state of the domestic and foreign markets of meat raw materials (chicken, pork, beef, etc.). The meat and meat product manufacturing in Ukraine is dominated by poultry meat, which share has increased by 7.22 pp. in the last six years. Instead, the share of meat products decreased by 6.54 pp. These trends indicate the reduction of advanced processing of meat raw materials. This is largely due to the low level of operating profitability of meat product manufacturing in Ukraine – 2.6% in 2018 vs. 3.7% in 2013, while the profitability of poultry meat manufacturing reached 11.3% (vs. 9.1%). Given the latest global trends in changing consumer preferences in favor of dietary types of meat, this poultry development trend in Ukraine has great prospects, especially in regions where there are no large agricultural companies. In contrast to poultry farming, the trends in domestic pig breeding are mostly negative, due to the decrease in the number of pigs caused by outbreaks of African swine fever. An even more critical situation in Ukraine is with the production of beef and veal, which is a direct result of the cattle livestock population reduction by more than 6 times in the last 25 years, as well as of the high cost of meat procurement. The latter is caused by poor livestock feed base. To overcome this problem, it is necessary to increase the volume of domestic production of compound feeds and their components. In particular, a promising area for the development of meat processing in Ukraine is the production of animal origin feeds, the raw material for which is food waste. Integrated use of meat raw materials will ultimately increase the level of profitability of this segment of the processing industry.
