Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model pendidikan karakter terintegrasi dalam pembelajaran PAI di Perguruan Tinggi. Karakter-karakter yang diintegrasikan dalam pembelajaran PAI dalam penelitian ini mengacu kepada karakter-karakter yang dibutuhkan di abad ke-21. Seorang mahasiswa yang berkarakter akan mampu berperan serta secara positif baik sebagai pribadi, sebagai anggota keluarga, anggota masyarakat, warga negara, maupun warga dunia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian R&D dari Borg & Gall. Teknik pengumpulan datanya menggunakan observasi, wawancara, angket dan skala sikap. Teknik analisis data kualitatif merujuk pada tiga langkah dari Miles & Huberman. Sementara teknik analisis data kuantitatif menggunakan uji Wilcoxon. Penelitian dilakukan di beberapa jurusan di Universitas Negeri Medan pada semester genab Tahun Akademik 2018-2019. Penelitian ini menghasilkan temuan bahwa model pendidikan karakter terintegrasi dalam pembelajaran PAI dalam penelitian ini efektif mengembangkan karakter mahasiswa terutama karakter kreatif, kerja keras dan mandiri, serta efektif mengembangkan keterampilan berkreativitas Islami dan berdakwah virtual.  Kata Kunci: Pengembangan Model; Pendidikan Karakter; Pembelajaran PAI. Abstract This study aims to develop an integrated character education model in Islamic Education learning in tertiary institutions. The characters integrated in Islamic Education learning in this study refer to the characters needed in the 21st century. A student with character will be able to participate positively both as individuals, as family members, members of society, citizens, and citizens of the world. This study used a qualitative and quantitative approach with the R&D research method from Borg & Gall. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, questionnaires and attitude scales. Qualitative data analysis techniques refer to the three steps of Miles & Huberman. Meanwhile, the quantitative data analysis technique used the Wilcoxon test. Research was conducted in several departments at Medan State University in the even semester of the 2018-2019 Academic Year. This study resulted in the finding that the integrated character education model in Islamic Islamic education in this study was effective in developing student character, especially creative character, hard work and independence, and was effective in developing Islamic creativity and virtual da'wah skills. Keywords: Model Development; Character building; PAI learning.

The purpose of this study was to describe the French TV ads that contains a description ofvalue the characters, and its compatibility with character education in Semarang State University. This study using qualitative descriptive approach. The data in this study are the characteristics of the French in French-language TV ads which are downloaded from the site www.youtube.com. Data collection techniques in this study are techniques of documentation, see,and record. Data analysis technique used is the technique analysis of the message content. Theresults shows that in six French TV ads, there are fourteen characters and habits of the French:polite, willing to help, attentive and loving, vigorously, intelligent, individualistic, adventurous, conscientious or not careless, friendly, disciplined, obedient to the rules, romantic, custombises, and fashionable. Of the French characters and habits of the French appearing, there areeight in accordance with the value of character education in Semarang State University. Thecharacters that correspond to the value are: smart, responsibility, caring, tolerant, democratic,patriotism, firm, and politeness.

This research is a library research aimed at describing the scientific content of the integration interconnection aspect of the Islamic Education and Character Education of the 2013 Curriculum at Senior High Schools. Documentation method is conducted to collect data. Content analysis is used as data analysis technique based on Al-Jabiri’s epistemology namely, bayani, irfani, and burhani, while the integration-interconnection aspect of science is based on M.Amin Abdullah’s hypothesis with circular model incorporating Al-Jabiri’s three scientific epistemology. Hence, it is concluded that the aspect of the integration-interconnection of the Islamic Education and the Character Education of the 2013 Curriculum at Senior High School stated in the Regulation of the Ministry of Education and Culture No.69 year 2013 fulfilled the circular model of bayani, irfani and burhani is apparent in 4 chapters (13%), while there are 22 chapters (71%) which accomplished two aspect of Al-Jabiri’s scientific epistemology, and 5 chapters (16%) rooted only in bayani.

Islamic education in Indonesia, the majority is rooted in the education model of an Islamic boarding school. In the world of pesantren, the position of the yellow book is very strategic because the yellow book is the book references and the curriculum in the education system. Nahwu and Shorrof are the initial keys to mastering the yellow book, but the problem is, many students, especially early childhood students and beginners, they find it difficult to learn Nahwu and Shorof, while the two fans are the key to being able to read the yellow book. with 3 (three) data collection techniques, namely; observation, interview and documentation. The analysis technique in this research is to use qualitative data analysis consisting of 1) data reduction; 2) data presentation, and 3) conclusions, where the process took place circularly during the study. The results showed that the preparation of the method was based on the unrest that occurred in the Sidogiri Islamic Boarding School and the Al-Miftah Lil ‘Ulum method in the Sidogiri Islamic Boarding School well organized, both internally and externally.

Pendidikan karakter dalam perspektif Islam dipandang sangat penting dan merupakan bagian tak terpisahkan dari konsep pendidikan Islam secara keseluruhan berdasarkan petunjuk Alquran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan perumusan konsep dan model implementasi pendidikan karakter indigenous dalam perspektif Alquran untuk peserta didik di masa usia pranikah, prenatal, dan golden age. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan dengan melakukan observasi terhadap surat dan ayat-ayat Alquran, serta sains yang terkait dengan pendidikan karakter indigenous dalam perspektif Alquran, teknik analisis data menggunakan model analisis tafsir al-maudlu’iy. Hasil penelitian ini antara lain mengungkapkan tentang perumusan konsep dan model implementasi pendidikan karakter indigenous dalam perspektif Alquran di masa usia pranikah, prenatal, serta golden age. Simpulan dari penelitian ini antara lain bahwa dalam perspektif sains dan Alquran, manusia dari sejak dilahirkan memiliki dua jenis karakter indigenous yang berpasangan dan bersifat saling berlawanan, yakni karakter kebaikan (taqwa) dan karakter keburukan (fujur). Aktualisasi dan pengembangan karakter indigenous manusia dilakukan melalui pendidikan karakter yang memaksimalkan karakter kebaikan (taqwa) dan meminimalkan karakter keburukan (fujur). Kata Kunci: Pendidikan karakter indigenous, taqwa, fujur, perspektif Alquran. CONCEPT OF INDIGENOUS CHARACTER EDUCATION IN THE QUR'AN PERSPECTIVE Abstract: Character education in Islamic perspective is considered very important and is an inseparable part of the concept of Islamic education as a whole based on Qur'anic instructions. This study aims to reveal the formulation of concepts and models for the implementation of indigenous character education in the perspective of the Qur'an for students in premarital, prenatal, and golden age. This research uses a qualitative approach. Data is collected by observing the letters and verses of the Qur’an, as well as science related to indigenous character education in the perspective of the Qur’an. The data analysis technique uses the analysis model of al-maudlu'iy interpretation. The results of this study, among others, reveal about the formulation of concepts and models for the implementation of indigenous character education in the perspective of the Qur'an at the time of premarital, prenatal, and golden age. The conclusions of this study include that in the perspective of science and the Qur'an, humans from birth have two types of indigenous characters that are paired and are antagonistic, namely the character of goodness (taqwa) and the character of badness (fujur). Actualization and development of indigenous character of human being is done through character education that maximizes the character of goodness (taqwa) and minimizes the character of badness (fujur). Keywords: Indigenous character education, taqwa, fujur, Qur’an perspective

This research aims to develop a web-based recitation program with multiple representations of kinematics material and to determine the feasibility of the product being developed. The recitation program aims to make it easier for students to deepen kinematics material outside lecture hours. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with a 4D model development design consisting of 4 stages, namely defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. The data obtained from this research are quantitative data obtained from questionnaire assessment scores on the validation sheet and practicality test sheets based on the Likert scale, as well as qualitative data obtained from suggestions/comments from validators and students. The validity test was carried out by 1 physics lecturer at the State University of Malang and 2 physics lecturers outside UM, while the practicality test was carried out on 60 UM physics students who had obtained kinematics material. The data analysis technique used is the descriptive qualitative analysis and descriptive statistical analysis. In this research, the results of the data analysis of the program display validation were 87.67% and the results of the content validation data analysis were 93.31% with the valid category. While the practicality test obtained a percentage of 84.33% with practical criteria. The validation results and practicality test results show that the products developed are valid and suitable for use by students as independent teaching materials.

Purpose of the Study: This study aims to identify the forms of directive politeness act found in the educational discourse, to describe the directive politeness act technique and to formulate directive politeness act that can be used to form the readers’ character, especially the students in Indonesia. Methodology: This study used a qualitative approach with multi-column data analysis technique design. The data source of this study was the directive politeness speech act containing a message of character formation in the discourse of education column in the Daily National Newspaper (DNN) Kompas and Republika in the period from January 2018 to March 2018. The data analysis in this research was carried out while the data processing and data validation technique were being conducted. The data analysis is supported by the taxonomy data analysis technique of the Levinson model underlain by the Indonesian cultural background. Result: The research results report that the use of directive politeness acts, in the discourse of education column in the daily national newspaper, can be divided into the politeness act of advising (9.62%), supporting (9.62%), and instructing (9.62%), by which the greatest number is gained. The directive speech act strategy in the discourse of education column can be divided into two types: direct strategy (83%) and indirect strategy (17%). The implication of the directive politeness act in the discourse of education column of DNN can be formulated into 11 character building values, which are religiosity, honesty, harmony-tolerance, discipline, sincerity and hard work, creativity, independence, democracy, curiosity, love for the homeland, and appreciation for other people’s works and achievements. The value of honesty, religiosity, and tolerance becomes the strong feature of the discourse of education column in DNN. The results describe that the thriving and excellent main capital in building Indonesia are divinity, harmony, unity, and tolerance. Implications: The values of character education become a worthwhile benchmark in the framework to instill educational values and build readers’ independence and maturity in the Indonesian context.

Authentic assessment in the 2013 curriculum requires each teacher to conduct performs a fairly complex assessment of spiritual and social attitudes, knowledge, and skills. The problem in this research is how authentic assessment of affective domain in Islamic Education and character-building is implemented in a curriculum 2013 pilot project elementary school in Banyumas Regency Central Java Indonesia. This research is field research classified as descriptive qualitative research. The interview and observation methods were used to collect the data of the process of authentic assessment of affective domain in the subjects of Islamic and character Education. The documentation method was used to gain the data related to the school profiles and planning documents, implementation and assessment processing. The analysis technique chosen in this research was descriptive analysis technique using inductive and deductive thinking methods and following Miles and Huberman model of data analysis. The study found that the implementation of an authentic assessment in the school was carried out both manually and automatically using application through the process of 1) planning done by determining the character to be measured and making an assessment format referring to KI-1 and KI-2 , 2) implementation of the assessment carried out by observing and recording the attitudes of the participants, 3) value processing done collaboratively between the Islamic and Character Education teachers (PAI and BP) with the Class Teacher then recapitulating the attitude values and making the description, and 4) Follow-up carried out by PAI & BP Teachers and Class Teachers by providing rewards, motivation, coaching, habituation programs, and mentoring.

This study aims to examine three main problems, namely: multicultural values ​​contained in Islamic Education (PAI) learning; the process of investing multicultural values ​​in PAI learning; methods of character building through multicultural values ​​in PAI learning. The study was conducted at SMK 1 Gerung, West Lombok. Data analysis techniques include data collection, data reduction, data display and conclusion verification. The findings show that multicultural values ​​contained in PAI learning content include tolerance values, equality values, unity values, kinship values, and justice values. The planting of multicultural values ​​in PAI learning at SMK 1 Gerung uses two methods, namely the exemplary method and the habituation method. The impact of planting multicultural values ​​on students is the growth of mutual tolerance, respect, accepting the opinions of others, mutual cooperation, not hostile, and the absence of conflict due to differences in culture, ethnicity, language, customs, and religion. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tiga permasalahan utama, yaitu: nilai-nilai multikultural yang terdapat dalam pembelajaran PAI; proses penanaman nilai multikultural dalam pembelajaran PAI; metode pembinaan karakter melalui nilai multikulturalal dalam pembelajaran PAI. Penelitian dilakukan di SMKN 1 Gerung. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini meliputi pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai multikultural yang terdapat dalam buku mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam meliputi nilai toleransi, nilai kesamaan, nilai persatuan, nilai kekerabatan, dan nilai keadilan. Penanaman nilai-nilai multikultural dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di SMKN 1 Gerung menggunakan dua metode yaitu metode keteladanan dan metode pembiasaan. Dampak penanaman nilai-nilai multikultural terhadap siswa yaitu tumbuhnya sikap saling toleran, menghormati, menerima pendapat orang lain, saling bekerjasama, tidak bermusuhan, dan tidak adanya konflik karena perbedaan budaya, suku, bahasa, adat istiadat, dan agama.

The research aims to develop devices integrated learning Malay culture in the form of RPP, LKPD and evaluation tools to improve character education learners. This type of research is the development of research (research and the development) with the procedural model. Research has been conducted in the development of chemistry teaching lab FKIP Riau University from June to November 2016. The prototype learning device generated through research is Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) consisting of 4x meeting, Activity Sheet Students (LKPD) for 4x meetings and 1 set of tools evaluation. Product prototype learning device has been evaluated by 3 validator. Data collected through questionnaires and observation techniques. The data analysis technique is a descriptive quantitative by calculating the percentage of the value of the validation. The average score ratings seventh aspect of the RPP is 95.95% with a valid category. The average score of the four aspects of the feasibility assessment LKPD is 95.95% with a valid category. The average score of all fifth aspects of the feasibility assessment evaluation tool was 94.58% with a valid category. While the percentage of learners response to LKPD is 97.36% which is at the criteria very well.

Islamic education and character education within the 2013 Curriculum at Senior High School in Indonesia are included in group A topics which is considered as compulsory.  The central government has formulated purposes, learning outcome competence, core competence as well as basic competence of those two topics. Thus, it requires high-quality management to achieve the standards. However, in reality,  Islamic education and character education teachers, particularly at State Senior High School I Pakem, Yoyakarta, are rarely aware of this scientific content in relation to management activities.    It is admitted there that management activity is, in fact, teacher obligation yet it is often regarded merely as routine. This research, which is aimed at describing curriculum management on Islamic education and character education with integration –interconnection scientific content at Senior High School, is a field study using qualitative approach. The subjects are Islamic education and character education teachers at State Senior High School I Pakem Yogyakarta while the object is the curriculum management of Islamic education and character education of Senior High School class X, XI and XII. Data were gathered using observation, interview and documentation which are then analyzed based on  Matthew B. Miles and A. Michael Huberman. Flow model was used as data analysis including three elements namely, data gathering which was done along with data reduction using classification, topic concentration and generalization, abstraction and rough data transformation; data analysis which comprises data display, information arrangement and conclusion or data verification under the topic of curriculum management of Islamic education and character education at Senior High School particularly on planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling phase related to integration-interconnection among bayani, irfani and burhani. The result shows that, at class X, there is core topic under the themes of ”Living virtuous life” and ”Managing wakaf truthfully”, while at class XI, the core topic is ”Hi Moslem warriors, wake up and rise!”, whereas at class XII, the core topic is ”Worshiping spiritfully by believing on the doomsday”.
