The level of motor skills of elementary school students can be influenced by many things such as movement experience, the environment, and facilities for learning so that it also impacts on learning outcomes. This study intends to find out the differences in physical education and sports learning outcomes of floor gymnastic material from elementary school students who have high motor skills. Floor gymnastic learning material is used in two cooperative learning model strategies (Student Teams Achievement Divisions and Jigsaw). The research approach method used was an experiment with a Pre-Experimental design. The students' motor skills were measured using the Johnson Fundamental Skills Test, while the series of floor motion exercises for Grade V Elementary School students were used as research instruments. The results of his study showed that there were differences in physical education learning outcomes and sports materials on floor gymnastics, groups of students with the STAD strategy got better learning outcomes compared to the Jigsaw strategy group. So, it can be concluded that the use of the STAD strategy cooperative learning model for students with high motor skills gives a better influence than Jigsaw's strategy on learning outcomes of physical education and sports learning exercises for floor gymnastics. The problems that underlined this research included: the development of children's social skills was still not optimal, learning models in the classroom were less varied, including in the selection of media and, the interaction of students with other students was still lacking so that learning was still monotonous and less interesting. This study aimed to analyze the effect of the project-based learning model which is assisted with traditional clogs toward the social skills of the fifth-grade elementary school students. The study applied a non-equivalent control group design. Determination of the sample applied random sampling techniques. The population of this study was all students of class V. In this study, the obtained samples were 62 people. Data collection applied observation techniques. The instrument was the observation sheet. The calculation results of average gain in students’ social skills scores were given the treatment of project-based learning models in which learning was assisted with traditional game clogs included 0.295 in the category of very sufficient, while students who were taught conventional learning models had an average score of social skills score of -0.022 , belongs to the less category. Thus, based on these findings, it can be concluded that the project-based learning model assisted by traditional game clogs influences the social skills of fifth grade elementary school students. This model can be used as a choice by teachers to be used as an alternative to improve social skills.

Purpose: Schools provide opportunities for children to accumulate recommended daily moderate to vigorous physical activity (MVPA). This study aimed to determine physical activity (PA) across the school day among elementary school children in Qatar. Methods: This cross-sectional study recruited 181 Grade 1 (5.8 ± 0.4 years) and Grade 4 (9.0 ± 0.5 years) children. Participants wore wrist-based accelerometers for 5 days to assess school-based PA. MVPA during physical education, recess, and class time were compared across sex, grade, and body mass index using general linear models. Results: Only 39.0% of this cohort met the recommended 30 min of MVPA during school hours. Fewer girls (23.2%) than boys (58.1%) achieved the school-based PA guidelines (p < .001). The children engaged in 19.0 ± 12.3%, 19.3 ± 8.6%, and 6.2 ± 3.4% of the designated physical education, recess, and class time in MVPA, respectively. Conclusion: Elementary school children in Qatar engage in inadequate MVPA during the school day, especially girls. Enhancing PA opportunities during physical education and recess is crucial.

Teaching and learning process is a very complex process. In order for the learning process to achieve results that are in accordance with the objectives, teachers need to consider and choose effective teaching strategies. There are still many Physical Education teachers who have not used the Direct Instruction and Project Based Learning models in Physical Education subjects because they do not understand, are lazy, and do not want to try, are busy, low learning outcomes do not reach the Minimum completeness Criteria and the teacher does not like this teaching style. This study aims to determine the difference in influence between the direct instruction model and the project based learning model on the improvement of backhand learning outcomes for fourth grade students at Cipaku Elementary School The method that will be used by the writer is an experimental method. Then the design used in this study is the Randomize Pretest-Posttest Control Goup Design. The population of this research is all fourth grade students of Cipaku Public Elementary School. The results obtained in accordance with the hypothesis that the authors propose obtained an answer that there are differences in the effect between the direct instruction model and the project based learning model on the improvement of backhand learning outcomes in fourth grade students at Cipaku Elementary School
