This research was aimed at defining the effect of Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) on students’ mathematical literacy ability and disposition. This research applied the Posttest-Only Control Design. The population was all grade VII students of SMP Negeri 4 Randudongkal. The Cluster Random Sampling was used in this research and it gained class VII B as the experiment group and class VII E as the controlled group. The data on students’ Mathematical literacy ability were collected through the post-test, while the data of students’ mathematical disposition were collected through questionnaires. The research hypothesis was comparative with the right-side test. The data were analyzed using the Mann Whitney test. With the significant value of 5%, it was revealed that students’ Mathematical literacy ability and disposition attending the learning process using RME were better than those who were not. It could be concluded that the RME learning method had a significant and positive effect on the students' mathematical literacy ability and disposition.

The research aimed to study the effect of Problem Based Learning towards the  student’s mathematical literacy skills. This research is an experimental research. The design of this research used post-test-only control design. The population of this research were the whole students on the seventh grade of SMP Negeri 1 Bobotsari. Sampling in this research used cluster random sampling and obtained VII B grade as an experimental class and VII D grade as an control class. The data were collected using mathematical literacy skill test in the form of essay. The results of mathematical literacy skill test on experiment class showed that the average score was 77,81 and the average score on control class was 69,19. After testing the hypothesis was tested using independent sample t-test , a significance value of 0,0115 was obtained, with significance value or α = 0,05. It was concluded that Problem Based Learning was effective toward grade VII student’s mathematical literacy skill in SMP Negeri 1 Bobotsari.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw lebih baik daripada pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional di Kelas IX MTs Negeri 1 Kota Palu. Hipotesis penelitian ini adalah pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw lebih baik daripada pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu. Desain penelitian ini adalah pre-post test control design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IX MTs Negeri 1 Kota Palu dengan teknik pengambilan sampel cluster random sampling. Nilai rata-rata siswa kelas eksperimen 47 dan standar deviasi 17,04 sedangkan nilai rata-rata siswa kelas kontrol 40 dan standar deviasi 13,40. Data yang diperoleh berdistribusi normal dan homogen, maka pengujian hipotesis menggunakan teknis statistik parametris yaitu uji t. Hasil pengujian hipotesis diperoleh bahwa nilai ????tabel = 1,67 dan ????hitung = 2,96 sehingga H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw lebih baik daripada pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional di kelas IX MTsN 1 Kota Palu. The hypothesis is that mathematics concept understanding students who learn by using jigsaw cooperative learning model better than students who learn by using conventional learning model. The type of research is a quasi experiment. Design of research is pre-post control design. The population of this research is all students of class IX  MTs Negeri 1 Kota Palu with samples taken by cluster random sampling technique. The average score of the experiment class students is 47 and standard deviation is 17.04 and the average score of the control class students is 40 and standard deviation is 13.40. The data is normal distribution and homogen, hypothesis test using t test. Results of hypothesis test obtained value ????table = 1.67 and ????count = 2.96 it means H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. This indicated that mathematics concept understanding students who learn by using jigsaw cooperative learning model have better than mathematics concept understanding students who learn by using conventional learning model in class IX MTsN 1 Kota Palu. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan metode Gallery Walk terhadap kreativitas siswa dengan menggunakan metode True Eksperimen post-test Only Control Design. Penelitian ini juga menggunakan Peer Assesment untuk menilai proses pembuatan produk antar teman, Angket digunakan untuk mengetahui respon siswa terhadap metode pembelajaran Populasi �penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas X IPA SMA Negeri 1 Gegesik Tahun ajaran 2016/2017 yang berjumlah 194 siswa. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan Cluster Random Sampling, dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok kelas, yaitu kelas metode Gallery Walk sebanyak 40 siswa dan kelas metode Proyek sebanyak 40 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi penilaian kreativitas produk, lembar observasi penilaian antar teman dan angket. Hipotesis diuji menggunakan uji statistik nonparametrik wilcoxon, Peer Assesment dan angket menggunakan presentasi hasil . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai uji wilcoxon adalah R# 820 > Z 7,7 yang artinya ada pengaruh penerapan metode Gallery Walk terhadap kreativitas siswa. Hasil Peer Assesment menunjukkan presentasi 100 % untuk semua indikator pada kelas ekspeimen yang artinya peer assesment ini sangat baik digunakan pada metode Gallery Walk. Sedangkan untuk hasil Angket menunjukkan presentasi 90% untuk proses pembelajaran, 88,75% untuk kecocokan Metode Galley Walk terhadap materi, 87,5% untuk kelebihan metode Gallery Walk, 5% untuk kekurangan metode Gallery Walk. Mathematical literacy is the ability to understand and use mathematics in various contexts to solve problems and be able to explain to others how to use mathematics. This study aims to describe the mathematical literacy skills of MTsN students in Kendari City. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics, i.e. by tabulating data and graphical methods. The results of the analysis show that overall, the percentage of mathematical literacy abilities of MTsN students in Kendari City is still dominated by groups of low-ability students. Based on the content, students' mathematical literacy ability is still low on content 2. However, based on their categorization, students with a lower category of Mathematical Literacy Abilities are found in content 4. When viewed based on the level, students get the lowest scores on level 6 questions. However, based on the categorization, students with a lower Mathematical Literacy Ability category are found in level 2 and level 4 questions. The school that was used as the object of the study was obtained that both based on the content and level, the mathematical literacy skills of grade IX MTsN 1 Kendari students were better than the IX grade students of MTsN 2 Kendari.

Abstrak — Pada penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui apakah musik pop berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar matematika pada siswa SMA. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa Kelas XI SMAN 1 Pamekasan semester Genap Tahun Pelajaran 2019/2020 pada materi aplikasi barisan dan deret. Jenis penelitian ini berupa eskperimen dengan rancangan penelitian Post-test Only Control Design. Teknik pengumpulan data yang gunakan adalah post-test berupa tes hasil belajar dengan lima soal uraian. Kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol diuji homogenitas terlebih dahulu menggunakan data nilai ulangan sebelumnya. Kemudian diperoleh bahwa kedua kelas homogen. Pada perhitungan nilai post-test dengan SPSS diketahui bahwa nilai sinignifikansi < α yaitu sebesar 0,047 sedangkan nilai α = 0,05, yang menandakan bahwa musik pop berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar. Hasil belajar siswa yang diperoleh, menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Kelas eksperimen memiliki rata-rata hasil belajar yang lebih tinggi yaitu sebesar 84,61 daripada kelas kontrol yaitu sebesar 76,16. Berdasarkan data hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa musik pop berpengaruh secara positif terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa sehingga dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif strategi pembelajaran.Kata kunci: Musik Pop, Hasil Belajar Siswa, Barisan dan Deret Abstract — This study aims to determine whether pop music has an effect on Mathematics’ student learning outcomes. This research was conducted of Class XI at SMAN 1 Pamekasan of sequence and series application matter. This research was experimental research with a Post-test Only Control Design. The technique to collect data used a post-test that consisting of five descriptive questions. The experimental class and the control class were homogeneity tested first using the previous test data. Then it is obtained that both classes are homogeneous. In the calculation of the post-test value with SPSS, it is known that the significance value <α is 0.047 while the value of α = 0.05, which indicates that pop music has a significant effect on learning outcomes. There are differences in significant learning outcomes in the experimental class and the control class. The experimental class had a higher average learning outcome of 84.61 than the average of the control class of 76.16. Based on research data, it can be concluded that pop music has a positive effect on student mathematics learning outcomes so it can be used as an alternative learning strategy.Keywords: Pop Music, Learning Outcomes, Sequence and Serie

The  purpose  of  this  research  is  to find out the increase of student’s mathematical problem solving competence through the implementation of Osborn Learning Model, as well as compare it with the  student  who  earned  conventional learning.    In  addition,  the  purpose  of this research is to find out the increase of mathematical  problem  solving  competence on a group of student with high, middle, and low capability. The next purpose is to find out the attitude of the students against the osborn learning model. Methods used in this research is quasi Experimenter Method with pretest and post-test Marginalized Control Design. Population on this research are all of  students  of  VIII  grades  in  SMPN  1 Bandung. Samples on this research are two classes   of   VIII   grades,   one   class   as Experimental Class and the other one as control    class.    Research    data    obtained through the test of student’s mathematical problem solving competence, questionnaire, and  observation  sheets.  The  result  of  this research shows that the increasing of student’s   mathematical   problem   solving competence with Osborn Learning Model better than   the increasing of student’s mathematical  problem  solving  competence with conventional learning. There are differences in the increasing competence on the groups of high capability, middle capability and low capability in osborn class and   conventional   class.   In   general,   the students  give  a  positive  attitude  against Osborn Learning Model.

ABSTRACT This research was aimed to know 1) Student’s achievement in physics by using numbered heads together (NHT). 2) Student’s achievement in physics by using conventional learning model. 3) The effect of numbered heads together (NHT) on student’s achievement especially on expansion topic. The population was nine classes student grade VII in SMP N 1 Tebing Tinggi. The sample was two classes obtained by cluster random sampling. The sample was VII5 by using numbered heads together (NHT) and VII4 by using conventional learning model. Instrument has 20 questions and tested validated. The mean of pre-test in VII5 was 38.15 and in VII4 was 38.52. After that learning model applied, and then done the post-test. The mean of post-test in VII5 was 78.15 and in VII4 was 73.52. In hypothesis testing obtained tcount > ttable at significant level 0.05. So, can be concluded student’s achievement of VII5 better than VII4. The current study aims to investigate the effect of using Mind Mapping technique on University students' achievement in English drama. The aim of the study is supposed to be achieved through verifying its hypotheses. The sample of the study consists of sixty EFL university students who are distributed equally into two groups, i.e. experimental and control groups. The experimental group has been taught the English drama ''Hamlet'' by using Mind Mapping technique while the control group has been taught the same material by using the traditional method. A posttest has been conducted and applied to the two groups. The required data are collected and analyzed statistically. The obtained results show that the mean scores of students' performance of the experimental group in the post test is better than that of the control group. This means that the investigated technique has a positive effect on university students' performance in English drama.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of problem-based learning models towards the mathematics learning outcomes of 6th-grade students of an Elementary School accredited B in Kendari City. This study is quantitative experimental research. The population in this were all 6th-grade students of an Elementary School accredited B in Kendari City. The technique of determining the sample was done by cluster random sampling. Data analysis used is descriptive statistics and inferential statistics where the hypothesis test used is the t-test. The results showed the effect of problem-based learning models better than direct instruction and problem-based learning model positive effect on mathematics learning outcomes of 6th-grade students of an Elementary School Accredited B in Kendari City.
