The economic development of a region aims to obtain high economic growth, which can encourage an increase in the income per capita of the population followed by an increase in human development. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of economic growth on human development performance in Maluku Province during the Covid-19 pandemic period. The research uses a quantitative approach with descriptive and inferential analysis methods. Simple linear regression analysis technique was applied to determine the relationship between HDI and economic growth and mapped it on a quadrant map. The findings obtained illustrate that the HDI growth in Maluku in 2020 slowed to 0.06 percent, while economic growth contracted to 0.92 percent. There are no districts/cities whose HDI and economic growth are lower than the Maluku Province figure. Around 81 percent of districts/cities are mapped in Quadrant II (lower HDI and higher economic growth than the Maluku figure). The estimation results of the regression equation confirm a very strong relationship. The results of the study indicate that the Covid-19 pandemic has an impact on the slowdown in the HDI growth of Maluku Province in 2020.

This study aims to find empirical evidence to support the notion that there is a connection between the budget emphasis and the potential budgetary slack. In this study, there were 65 respondents (out of a potential pool of 872 employees of the regional water supplier for Malang city). Of the 65 questionnaires distributed, 57 were returned fully completed. The data collected was then analyzed using the Product Statistics and Services Solution (SPSS) application program. This study uses a simple linear regression analysis technique to measure the impact of the budget emphasis variable to budgetary slack. The results show that the budget emphasis produced a positive effect on the incidence of budgetary slack, however when the budget emphasis is too tight it can cause aberrant behavior in subordinates owing working pressures to achieve set targets.  Keywords: Budget Emphasis, Budgetary Slack

ABSTRACTThis study is descriptive analitik, aims to describe the relationship of perceptions about the physiotherapy profession with the motivation to learn students of the Academy of Physiotherapy UKI. Data collection through questionnaires to students of Physiotherapy Academy UKI level 1, 2, and 3 with a sample of 53 students, then give a score of each statement of questionnaire.The result of correlation analysis shows that p = 0,584> α (0,05) ho is accepted, so there is no significant relationship between the two variables. To measure the closeness and intensity of the relationship between the two variables, test of correlation coefficient and simple linear regression. The result of correlation coefficient test (r) obtained by -0,077, lies below the value of -0.30 (very weak) thus can be said there is no relation between perception about physiotherapy profession with motivation learn student Akfis UKI. Result of linear regression analysis obtained equation: Y = 73,52 + (-0,088) X. This means that every 1 point decrease of perception value will influence motivation value equal to 0,088 times.Keywords: Perception, motivation, physiotherapy profession, and learning achievement. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bersifat deskriptif analitik, bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hubungan persepsi tentang profesi fisioterapi dengan motivasi belajar siswa Akademi Fisioterapi UKI. Pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner kepada siswa Fisioterapi Academy UKI tingkat 1, 2, dan 3 dengan sampel sebanyak 53 siswa, kemudian memberikan skor masing-masing kuesioner pernyataan. Hasil analisis korelasi menunjukkan bahwa p = 0,584> α (0,05) ho diterima, sehingga tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara kedua variabel tersebut. Untuk mengukur kedekatan dan intensitas hubungan antara kedua variabel tersebut, uji koefisien korelasi dan regresi linier sederhana. Hasil uji koefisien korelasi (r) diperoleh sebesar -0,077, berada di bawah nilai -0,30 (sangat lemah) sehingga dapat dikatakan tidak ada hubungan antara persepsi tentang profesi fisioterapi dengan motivasi belajar siswa Akfis UKI. Hasil analisis regresi linier diperoleh persamaan: Y = 73,52 + (-0,088) X. Artinya setiap 1 titik penurunan nilai persepsi akan mempengaruhi nilai motivasi sebesar 0,088 kali.Kata kunci: Persepsi, motivasi, profesi fisioterapi, dan prestasi belajar.

 ABSTRAK Kontribusi UKM untuk pertumbuhan perekonomian membuat kinerja UKM perlu untuk ditingkatkan. Dalam hal ini ada banyak faktor yang harus dipertimbangkan dalam meningkatkan kinerja di UKM-UKM seperti kewirausahaan dan orientasi pasar, sehingga kajian yang telah dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh paling penting dari orientasi pasar dan kewirausahaan pada kinerja usaha UKM. Penelitian dikerjakan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel diambil dari 50 pelaku UKM yang dibina oleh Dinas Perdagangan Surabaya. Pengumpulan data dalam kajian ini dikerjakan dengan menyebarkan angket kuesioner. Teknik analisis data adalah analisis regresi linier berganda. Temuan-temuan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa orientasi kewirausahaan dan pasar mempunyai pengaruh signifikan baik itu parsial dan secara simultan pada kinerja usaha pada UKM-UKM. Kata kunci: orientasi kewirausahaan, orientasi pasar, kinerja usaha  Strategi Orientasi Kewirausahaan, Orientasi Pasar dan Pengaruhnya Pada Kinerja Usaha Di Unit Usaha Kecil-Menengah (UKM) ABSTRACT SMEs contribution to economic growth makes the MSMEs performance need to be improved. In this case numerous factors should be considered in improving performance of SMEs such as entrepreneurship and market orientations, so this study was conducted with aim to examine the crucial effect of entrepreneurship and market orientations on the business performance to MSMEs. This research is done by using quantitative approach. The samples taken are 50 SMEs business players built by Department of Commerce Surabaya. Data collection in this study was done by distributing questionnaires. Analysis technique of data is multiple linear regression analysis. This study aimed to determine the effect of promotion on the sales of Islamic insurance policies at PT. Asuransi Takaful Keluarga RO Riau Agency Pekanbaru. This research was motivated by the development of Islamic insurance companies both in terms of assets and in terms of company contributions that have an impact on insurance policy sales. The formulation of the problem in this study was to determine the effect of the relationship promotion on insurance policy sales. This research used quantitative methods with simple linear regression analysis. The sample in this study was 49 respondents. Based on the results of the partial test (t-test), the tcount was 1.391 <t-table 2.016, so the promotion had no significant effect on the variable sales of the insurance policy of PT. Asuransi Takaful Keluarga RO Riau Pekanbaru. The regression results showed that the promotion variable does not affect sales.

The rapid development of capital markets are now attracting the attention of people andcapital owners to invest in capital markets. During the year 2013-2016 the average stock price of the textile and garment enterprises sub-sector experienced a fluctuating condition. The financial ratios that are suspected to affect the ups and downs of stock prices are ROA and EPS. The population of this research are 15 Textile and Garment Sub-Sector Companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2013-2016. The analysis technique used is linear regression analysis with SPSS program. This study aims to determine the effect of ROA on stock prices through EPS as a mediator. The results showed that ROA has no significant effect on stock prices, but ROA has a significant influence on the mediation variable that is EPS. EPS variable has positive and significant effect to stock price. ROA and EPS have a significant effect on stock prices. EPS is fully mediated variable and can significantly mediate the relationship between ROA and stock prices. Based on the analysis results, can be concluded that the variables that affect the stock price is EPS, while the ROA variable does not affect the stock price. As well as EPS variables can mediated the relationship between ROA and stock prices. The results of this research, it is expected the company further increase the profitability of the company in order to increase the stock price so that it can give benefit the company and investors.

Federalism and Political stability are two concepts that are of significance to all modern societies. Federalism promotes pluralism and dispersal of power which is good for a multi-ethnic society like Nigeria. But in Nigeria, the practice has generated unending tensions among the individuals, communities and ethnic groups within it. However, this study argues that healthy federalism is a political panacea for ethnic violence, governance crisis and political instability in Nigeria. This study empirically examined the relationship between federalism and political stability in Nigeria. The study adopted a descriptive and casual research design as well as the survey method. In the investigation, a total of 428 respondents were sampled using a structured questionnaire. Data were analyzed using Pearson product-moment correlation and linear regression analysis. Findings revealed that federalism has a positive and significant relationship with political stability in Nigeria at (R = .732, R2 = 614 at p = 0.000). The statistical result shows that there is a strong relationship between federalism and political stability in Nigeria and that federalism accounts for 61.4% of variations in political stability in Nigeria. Requisite conclusions and recommendations were provided in the light of empirical and theoretical findings.

Sukuk in Indonesia is growing rapidly with marked Corporate Sukuk issuance reached 65 Sukuk. Within this development also trigger the issuance of Ijarah Sukuk more in demand by the issuer as it is considered more prospective than the Mudharabah Sukuk.This study aimed to determine the issuance effect of Ijarah Sukuk on the financial performance issuer in the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2009 to 2013. The independent variable in this study is Sukuk to Equity Ratio and the dependent variable in this study are Return on Assets, Return on Equity and Earnings per Share. The analysis technique used is a simple linear regression analysis OLS with 95% of confidence level.The results of this study show that Sukuk to Equity Ratio has significant effect on Return on Assets, but Sukuk to Equity Ratio has not significant effect on Return on Equity and Earnings per Share.

This study discusses emotional intelligence for adolescents in Silam Village, Kuok Subdistrict, Kampar District. The purpose of this study was to study how emotional intelligence on families in Silam Village, Kuok District, Kampar District. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative research. The population subjects were 250 teenagers in Silam Village and a sample of 71 adolescent Cluster Random Sampling. The technique of collecting data using a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The data analysis technique in this study was carried out by simple linear regression analysis, and the processing in this study used the SPSS version 17.0 (Statistical Products and Services Solution) program for windows. The results showed a significant influence between emotional intelligence on adolescent behavior in the Silam Village, Kuok Subdistrict, Kampar District. Based on the hypothesis test (Significant Test), the Probability value of α is 0.05 ig sig (0.05 ≥ 0.00) which means Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Thus it can be denied that emotional intelligence is approved of adolescent behavior.

MSMEs play a very important role in encouraging the acceleration of a country's economic growth. This study aims to determine the effect of psychological cost, religiosity, and love of money on the taxpayer compliance of the MSMEs sector registered in the East Denpasar Tax Office. Incidental sampling is used as a method of determining the sample and obtained a sample of 96 MSMEs. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The results showed that psychological cost and religiosity had a positive effect on the compliance of the Taxpayers of the MSME sector, while love of money had a negative effect on the compliance of the Taxpayers of the MSMEs sector.
