Electrical engineering perception especially in electronics, is limited for teachers and high school students. The application of electronics makes the system more applicative by sharing knowledge among the Untar electrical engineering study program lecturer and high school students or teachers. Hygienics, such as hand sanitizers are important, especially during the current Covid-19 pandemic. Automatic hand sanitizer is a means of supporting applications that can support protocols for maintaining hygienics. The method of this activity is to conduct electronics training. The activity took place and was carried out at Tarsisius II High School, Jakarta via online, zoom. The teaching staff for electronic training are lecturers of Electrical Engineering, Tarumanagara University. The material is about making an automatic hand sanitizer in few steps. Outcomes are produced with finished products for high school students and seminars for lecturers who support this activity. Training using ready-made modules. The training starts from an explanation of the system, an explanation of the modules used, the characteristics of each module, how to connect, the stages of manufacture, and the final stage is system testing. The training was attended by students of SMA Tarsisius 2. The training was conducted online. The participating students were able to take part in the training well and the implementation of this activity went well that is indicated by the survey of beneficial 56%. This study determines the effect of the Work-Based Learning (WBL) model on achievement motivation of students in the Study Program of Mechanical Engineering at Vocational High Schools (VHS) compared to the Training Within Industry (TWI) model. This study used a quasi-experimental research method with a factorial design in two groups of XII grade vocational high school students of mechanical engineering. The data in the form of achievement motivation was collected using a questionnaire. The data were analyzed using two way Anova technique with α of 0.05. The results showed that (1) the students taught using the WBL model had a significantly higher achievement motivation than the achievement motivation of students taught using the TWI model; (2) students with high prior knowledge had a significantly higher achievement motivation than the achievement motivation possessed by students with moderate and low prior knowledge; and (3) there is an interaction between the use of learning models and students' prior knowledge towards students' achievement motivation. The findings indicated that the WBL model has the potential to improve the quality of learning outcomes of vocational education, especially in increasing students' achievement motivation, compared to traditional learning using the TWI model.

Abstract. In Indonesia, Vocational High Schools (VHSs) are designed to prepare graduates for a specific job. Selecting the types of English that suits the needs of vocational students is paramount importance to support their vocational skill in the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC). This study aims to reveal: (1) Vocational High School (VHS) students’ English perceived needs, (2) VHS students’ career aspirations toward study program they are taking, (3) the effect of students’ perception of their English program (EGP and ESP) on their career aspirations, and (4) the differences in the students’ perception of their English program (EGP and ESP) by demographic variables (gender and study program). This was quantitative research in the form of a correlational study. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis, multiple regression, and multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA). The findings indicated that:  (1) Most VHS students' English perceived need was ESP. Nevertheless, it was also undeniable that they also still needed EGP for their English before they took ESP. (2) Most VHS students did not have mature career aspirations related to the study program they were taking at vocational high school. (3) Furthermore, there was a significant effect of students' perception (EGP and ESP) on their career aspirations. (4) Regarding differences between male and female's perception of English program and differences in students’ study program, the results of this study revealed significant differences among them.                                                                                   Keywords: Career Aspiration, EGP, ESP, Perception
