Dysmenorrhea is a condition of a woman who experiences pain during menstruation which has a bad effect and causes disturbances in carrying out daily activities because of the pain. The pain arises due to the presence of the hormone prostaglandin which makes the uterine muscle (womb) contract. If not handled properly, it can reduce the quality of life of women. Treatment of dysmenorrhea can be by giving carrot juice. The content of beta-carotene and vitamin E in carrots can provide analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects that can help block the formation of prostaglandins and overcome the increase in the hormone prostaglandin, which is a hormone that affects dysmenorrhea. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of giving carrot juice to the intensity of dysmenorrhea in midwifery students at Pasir Pengaraian University, Rambah Hilir District, Rokan Hulu Regency. This research method is quantitative analytic with pre-experimental research design with one group pre-test and post-test design. Collecting data using a checklist while data analysis using the T- Dependent test. The sample in this study amounted to 20 female respondents who experienced dysmenorrhea. The results of the data analysis of the average decrease in the intensity of dysmenorrhea before being given carrot juice was 3.65 with a standard deviation of 0.93 and a standard error of 0.20. In the measurement after giving carrot juice, the average pain intensity was 0.30 with a standard deviation of 0.47 and a standard error of 0.10. In conclusion, there was an effect of giving carrot juice to decrease the intensity of dysmenorrhea in midwifery students at Pasir Pengaraian University, Rambah Hilir District, Rokan Hulu Regency with (p value = 0.001). Suggestions for women who experience dysmenorrhea to be able to consume carrot juice. One way to decrease anxiety is SEFT therapy, that is a healing technique combining psychology and spiritual power. This research aims to evaluate the effect of SEFT therapy on anxiety amongst the elderly. The research used quasi experiment methods with pre-test post-test and a non-probability sampling technique with purposive sampling method, which obtained with 38 respondents of which 19 received SEFT therapy six times in a week and 19 were the control group. The results of this research shows an average anxiety level in the treatment group before intervention of 29.74 with standard deviation of 11.435 and after intervention this dropped to 20.79 with a standard deviation of 6.997. Within the control group, the average of anxiety level before was 26.58 with standard deviation 9.640 and after was 26.32 with standard deviation 8.564. The statistical test uses parametric test, which is paired t-test analysisi which shows that there are differences in the average anxiety level after intervention in both groups with p value 0.036 (α ≤0.05). Based on the results it can be concluded that SEFT improved anxiety level significantly in the elderly. Therefore, the SEFT therapy can be applied in the community as an alternative therapy to overcome anxiety.   Keywords: SEFT Therapy, Elderly, Anxiety

The action of Sectio cassarea (SC) is one of the alternatives for a woman in choosing the delivery process in addition to medical indications and non-medical indications, SC action will discontinue continuity or tissue linkage because of the incision that will release pain receptors. Early mobilization is a factor that can reduce post-surgical pain while relaxation technique is a non-pharmacological pain transfer method that can reduce the pain sensory component. The purpose of this research is to know the factors that can influence the decrease in intensity of postoperative SC pain which is the technique of mobilization and relaxation technique, this research is done in RS Raflessia Bengkulu in August until September 2017 with sample 40 peoples postpartum mother with accidental sampling technique sampling. This method of research using quasy experiment, with approach of One Group Pre-Post Test which aims to see the effect of early mobilization to the intensity of pain in patients post-sectio cessarea. The results of the study showed an average decrease in pain level after early mobilization of 2.2, a decrease of pain level after relaxation technique of 2.1 and there was an effect of early mobilization on the decrease of pain intensity with p value (0.000). It is suggested to the hospital to maximize the implementation of early mobilization of 6 hours postoperative on postpartum mother with SC and perform early mobilization technique to postpartum motherwith SC in a correct and correct way to reduce the pain due to surgical incision wound

Background : Anemia in pregnancy is currently a global problem in Indonesia because it can cause maternal death. The role of iron is very important for pregnant women and fetuses. The risk of anemia in pregnant women can cause postpartum bleeding, prolonged labor and infection during the puerperium. Disorders of fetal development can also be caused by iron deficiency. The importance of efforts to reduce the problem of anemia in pregnant women can be pharmacologically and non pharmacologically. Non-pharmacological treatment can be know as complementary or alternative therapy by  giving seaweed and honey  drinks. Consumption of foods containing Fe such as seaweed and consumption of food containing Fe absorption aids (Fe enhancers) containing vitamin C can increase hemoglobin levels in pregnant women.  Purpose: to determine the effectiveness of seaweed (Eucheuma Spinosum) and honey drinks on increasing haemoglobin levels in pregnant women. Methods : The research using a quasi-experimental research method with one group pre test-post test design. The sampling technique used was the non-probability sampling technique of "purposive sampling" with a sample of 30 pregnant women who were given 100 grams of seaweed drink and 25 grams of honey a day for 10 days. Results :  The results showed that there was a change in the mean before being given treatment (Pre test) of 10.4 gr/dl after being given an intervention (post test) of 11.4 gr/dl. Hemoglobin levels after treatment increased on average by 1 g/dl with p-value (0.001) (P <0.05).Conclusion : consuming seaweed and honey drinks has an effect on increasing hemoglobin levels in pregnant women.
