The purpose of this research was to know the learning process and underlying principles of welding achievement students of with problem based learning. This research is Classroom Action Research. The subjects in this research were students of class XII which is 21 students. The data collecting technique in this research was done by using observation, and tests. The result of this research showed an increase in the learning process and achievement of students in the learning process. This is indicated by an increase in percentage of students learning process on the first cycle is 74%, while on the second cycle increased to 79%, and while on the third cycle increased to 85%. The percentage of the KKM students also increased, first cycle at 28,57% increased to 33,33% in the second cycle, and the third cycle again increased to 76,19%.

Implementation of the 2013 curriculum is very different from the previous curriculum, there are still many obstacles that we know greatly affect the learning outcomes, both in terms of media used, the assessment in the 2013 curriculum is more complicated than the previous curriculum then the methods used to convey the learning materials that want to be taught not effective or even incompatible with the material to be conveyed. This research method is a classroom action research conducted in improving the learning process, with four meetings. The assessment taken in this study is an evaluation evaluation of each meeting in the form of attitudinal value, value of knowledge and skill value based on teacher's book on theme 4 "Healthy is Important" with sub theme 1 "Importance of Health and Environment". On the attitudes that appear attitude of self-confidence, curiosity and independence Already entrusted by 20.68% confidence, and curiosity while mandated 6.2% lower because students are still not familiar with the implementation of the curriculum 2013. Results of student knowledge seen the development in excellent value at the first meeting of 36.4%, at the second meeting decreased to 30.3%, while at the third meeting experienced a 52.25% increase again. While on the results of these students' skills on four meetings emerged every meeting with a very good category at the first meeting of 18.1%, at the second meeting increased to 27.3%, the third meeting decreased to 20.68%, while at the fourth meeting increased again by 65.62%.

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran Akidah Akhlak melalui Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah di kelas IX E MTsN Olak Kemang Kota Jambi. Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dilakukan dua siklus yang terdiri dari: perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 32 siswa kelas IX E MTsN Olak Kemang Jambi. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan lembar observasi dan catatan lapangan. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif. Dari hasil penelitian ini diketahui bahwa pembelajaran akidah akhlak dengan pembelajaran berbasis masalah dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar di kelas IX E MTsN Olak Kemang Kota Jambi. Hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa terjadi peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa untuk setiap indikator yang diteliti. Peningkatan aktivitas siswa yang dimaksud adalah terjadinya peningkatan aktivitas siswa selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Siswa aktif merespon pertanyaan guru, mengemukakan alasan, menjelaskan kepada teman, mempresentasikan hasil diskusi kelompok dan membuat kesimpulan Kata Kunci: Aktivitas Siswa, Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah, Akidah Akhlak Abstract [Tittle: Improving Student’ Activity In Akidah Akhlak Course Through Problem Based Learning Approach]. This research was aimed to improve students’ activity in Akidah Akhlak through Problem Based Learning (PBL)at MTsN Olak Kemang Jambi city.This was a classroom action research which was conducted in two cycles in which each cycle consisted of planning, action, observation and reflection. The subject of this research was the third year students of MTsN Olak Kemang Jambi that consisted of 32 students. In collecting the data, the researcher used observation sheet and field note. The data then was analyzed descriptively.The result of the research showed that the use of PBL approach could improve students’ activity in Akidah Akhlak at MTsN Olak Kemang Jambi. After applying PBL approach, the students had a willingness to answer teacher’s questions, give opinions and plain them to the peers, present the result of the discussion and take conclusion. This study aims to improve students' speaking skills with a communicative-integrative approach at SMP Nusantara Plus Tangerang Selatan with the material of continuing the story. The subjects of this study were students of class 7A who were relevant to 30 people. The design in this research is classroom action research (classroom action research) which is conducted in three cycles. The data aids used are observation, interviews. The results of the study in cycles 1-3 said that the students' ability in speaking through the communicative-integrative approach had a significant increase. This increase can be seen based on the average value obtained when students carry out the teaching and learning process with the material continuing the story. In the first cycle, the number of students who told stories was 30 students with 70.55%. In the second cycle, 37 students who told stories had increased by 73.46%. In the third cycle, the number of students who told stories was 39 students with a percentage of 83.67%increased by 9.89%. The increase in speaking ability also increases with the increase in the average student activity during learning. The average student activity in cycle I was 65.30%. Student activity in cycle II had an increase of 9.48%, which was 75.77%, and activity in cycle III was 89.90%, which was an increase of 11, 65% of the average activity in cycle II. With the results obtained in each cycle, it is clear that they try to express their ideas and ideas when telling stories using communicative language and pay attention to linguistic and non-linguistic elements.

Mathematics learning at 5th grade of SDN 21 Batang Anai Kabupaten Padang Pariaman indicated that learning process did not encourage students to apply the concepts in solving problems. It caused the students’ learning achievement become low. This is a classroom action research aimed to improve students’ learning achievement by implementing problem based learning (PBL). Data were obtained through observation and test. Mean of students’ learning achievement from initial observation is 54.63 and become 72.78 in cycle I. Mean of students’ learning achievement is 78.37 in cycle II. Hence, problem based learning can improve students’ learning achievement.

AbstrakKeterlibatan siswa Sekolah Dasar di dalam proses pembelajaran masih menghadapi berbagai permasalahan. Salah satunya adalah karena guru masih cenderung menjadi pusat atau aktor utama. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dan sikap percarya diri peserta didik pada pembelajaran tematik materi energi melalui penerapan strategi pembelajaran berbasis masalah. Partisipan penelitian ini berjumlah 17 siswa Sekolah Dasar yang terdiri dari 6 laki-laki dan 11 perempuan. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus pembelajaran. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dan tes, dimana data yang diperoleh dianalisa secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis masalah dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi energi, sikap percaya diri dan aktif di dalam proses pembelajaran.AbstractThe involvement of elementary school students in the learning process still faces various problems. One of them is because the teacher still tends to be the center or the main actor. This classroom action research aims to improve learning outcomes and students' self-confidence in the thematic learning of energy materials through the application of problem-based learning strategies. The participants of this study were 17 elementary school students consisting of 6 boys and 11 girls. This classroom action research was carried out in two learning cycles. The data collection techniques used were observation and tests, where the data obtained were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The results of this study indicate that problem-based learning can improve student learning outcomes in terms of energy, self-confidence and activeness in the learning process.

This study aims to improve students' mathematical reasoning skills through the application of problem-based learning in class XI TKRO-A SMK Negeri 4 Jakarta which involves 6 students. This research is classroom action research which is carried out in three cycles and each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Students are given a test at the end of each cycle to measure their mathematical reasoning ability. The results showed that learning mathematics through the application of problem-based learning can improve mathematical reasoning abilities from pre-study of 39.34 in the first cycle of 67.65 in the second cycle of 72.24 to 74.08 in the third cycle. The conclusion of this study is that the application of problem-based learning can improve students' mathematical reasoning abilities. Improved mathematical reasoning abilities include aspects: the ability to predict answers and solution processes, use patterns and relationships to analyze mathematical situations, draw logical conclusions from statements, and provide explanations using models, facts and relationships in solving problems. The number of students whose mathematical reasoning scores reached or exceeded 75 also increased. In the preliminary study, there were no students whose mathematical reasoning test scores reached or exceeded 75, while in the first cycle as many as 41.18% students, in the second cycle increased to 61.77% students, and in the third cycle increased to 82.35% students. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa melalui penerapan pembelajaran berbasis masalah di kelas XI TKRO-A SMK Negeri 4 Jakarta yang melibatkan 6 siswa. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (classroom action research) yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus dan tiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahapan, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Siswa diberikan tes pada setiap akhir siklus untuk mengukur kemampuan penalaran matematis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran matematika melalui penerapan pembelajaran berbasis masalah dapat meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran matematis dari pra penelitian sebesar 39,34 siklus I sebesar 67,65 siklus II sebesar 72,24 menjadi 74,08 pada siklus III. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah bahwa penerapan pembelajaran berbasis masalah dapat meningkatan kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa. Peningkatan kemampuan penalaran matematis meliputi aspek: kemampuan memperkirakan jawaban dan proses solusi, menggunakan pola dan hubungan untuk menganalisis situasi matematika, menarik kesimpulan logis dari pernyataan, dan memberikan penjelasan dengan menggunakan model, fakta dan hubungan dalam menyelesaikan soal. Jumlah siswa yang nilai penalaran matematisnya mencapai atau melebihi 75 juga mengalami peningkatan. Pada penelitian pendahuluan belum terdapat siswa yang nilai tes penalaran matematisnya mencapai atau melebihi 75, sedangkan pada siklus I sebanyak 41,18% siswa, pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 61,77% siswa, dan pada siklus III meningkat menjadi 82,35% siswa.

This study aims to improve the process and the results of learning content of science grade 4 students on the theme 8 Sub Theme 1 through the model of learning Problem Based Learning. This research is a classroom action research (PTK). The study was conducted in two cycles with three meetings each cycle. The subjects of the study were 4th grade students of SDN Mangunsari 05. The data collection techniques used in this classroom action research were test, observation, and documentation. Result of validity test at cycle I of 45 problem there are 26 valid questions, in cycle II there are 24 valid questions. Reliability test in cycle I obtained Cronbach's Alpha value of 0.904 and on the second cycle obtained Cronbach's Alpha value of 0.878. The learning process on the initial condition of teacher action is 78,57% and student action equal to 71,42%. In the first cycle of teacher action in the learning process of the first meeting 82.14%, the second meeting amounted to 89.28%. Student action on first cycle of first meeting is 75% and second meeting is 89.28%. In cycle II the teacher's first meeting action is 100% and the second meeting is 100%. Student actions in the first meeting process of learning amounted to 92.85% and the second meeting 100%. The result of the research shows that there is an increase of learning outcome of IPA especially the theme of 8 sub themes 1. It is proved by the increasing of learning result. At the time of initial condition of 30% of students who reach the threshold. In the first cycle there was an increase to 80% that reached completeness. While in the second cycle there is an increase to 100% which reached completeness. The conclusion of this research is the application of PBL learning model to make students become more active and courageous in solving problems and increasing the result of studying the content of science.Keywords: PBL Model, Process, Learning Outcomes

The aim of this study is to improve students' critical thinking skills through a problem based learning model in class IV SDN Ende 1. The type of research used in this study is classroom action research consisting of several interrelated cycles and the model chosen in this study is a Kemis and Mc Tagart model which consists of several stages namely planning, action, observation and reflection, where actions and observations are carried out together. The subjects of this study were 21 students in class IV SDN Ende 1. Based on the results of data analysis in classroom action research shows that the learning feasibility by applying the learning model Problem Based Learning has increased namely 81.5% in the first cycle and 94% in the second cycle, therefore it can be said that the learning process has been carried out very well and in accordance with the reference in the lesson plan that has been made. While the results of observations of student activities during learning by applying  model of problem based learning have increased, which is proved by the increase in the average score of student learning activities in the first cycle by 55% and the second cycle by 87%. This improvement shows that during the learning process students were actively involved in solving problems. The results of the students’ critical thinking ability test of the first cycle can be seen that, there are 9 students or 43% who reach the KKM standard, while 12 students or 57% do not reach the value of 70 in accordance with the minimum completeness criteria set by the school. While the second cycle is known that as many as 21 students (100%) have succeeded and reached the indicator of critical thinking. The highest score obtained by student is 90 and the lowest score is 70 with an average value of 80% in the critical category. Therefore, the implementation of research by applying the problem based learning model ends in the second cycle . So, through research that has been done, by applying the Problem Based Learning model it is proven that it can improve the critical thinking skills of class IV students whose critical thinking test results are complete or meet the minimum completeness criteria (KKM).

This study aims to: 1) find out how the picture of learning outcomes of students by using the Discovery Learning learning model in class X SMA Negeri 3 Luwu Utara. 2) find out the increase in geography learning outcomes by using the Discovery Learning learning model in class X SMA Negeri 3 Luwu Utara. The target in this study were students of class X IIS 2 in SMA Negeri 3 North Luwu, totaling 30 students. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK). Consists of 2 cycles where each cycle consists of three meetings. The first and second meetings are material giving and the third meeting is the evaluation of the end of the cycle. The results of this study indicate 1) The average learning outcomes of students before using the discovery learning model is 40.67. Then increase after the application of discovery learning models in the first cycle of 63.267 included in the medium category, and in the second cycle of 75.33 also included in the medium category with a percentage increase of 13.79%. 2) The results of observations of students' activities in the teaching and learning process also increased, in the first cycle of the first meeting of 60.14% and then an increase in the second meeting of 68.88%. In the second cycle the first meeting amounted to 70.83% and experienced a change in the second meeting amounted to 78.47% included in the category of "very active".

 The aims of this classroom action research are (1) to find out whether role play can increase students’ participation in teaching-learning process and (2) to find out whether it can increase students’ ability in speaking. The data collected in this research were both qualitative and quantitative. The qualitative data were used to find out the students’ participation while the quantitative data were used to determine the students’ ability in speaking. The indicators of the success of this research were (1) that the students are 100% active during the teaching-learning process and (2) that at least 85% of the students get the minimum score of 70. In the first cycle, only 9 students (56%) who take participation, while the percentage of students who get the minimum score of 70 is 4 students (25%). In the second cycle, the percentage of students who take participation is 16 students (100%) and the percentage of students who get the minimum score of 70 is 8 students (50%). In the last cycle, the third cycle, it was gained that the percentage of students who take participation is 100% and the percentage of students who get the minimum score of 70 is 14 students (87.75%). In other words, the target of this research has been achieved at the end of the third cycle.
