Basically, ICT is a technology that can help reduce government performance, thus making a demand for the dynamics of public service delivery at the regional level. The method used in this research is a qualitative paragraph with a descriptive model in which the researcher looks for key informants or data sources based on facts in the field, and is supported by literature studies.. Referring to the results of the data that have been processed, the researchers found research results that show that the Among Warga application is an online-based complaint service facility which is shown for the people of Batu City in submitting public complaints such as infrastructure damage, fallen trees and natural disasters. However, the Among Warga application's journey has stopped for only one year since it was created in 2017. Meanwhile, the Batu City government is not ready to take advantage of ICT, this is due to the absence of innovative organizational capacity and transformational leadership. Therefore, in this study the authors would like to provide advice to government organizations in building ICT-based innovation concepts, the government is not a single actor, but requires cooperation with the private sector and participation from the community as an indicator..

Indonesia might be considered as "fortunate". In fact every five years, and often to concur one year after the election took place, Indonesian Muslims have a routine assembly called the Indonesian Muslim Congress (Kongres Umat Islam Indonesia, KUII). The Congress has reached the seventh (KUII VII) in 2020, and one of the its main goals is to consolidate Indonesian Muslims. On top of that, acting as a facilitator, the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) through this congress also aspires that Muslims in Indonesia to become the finest community (khayra ummah), to realize the unity of the people (tawhidul ummah), to achieve empowerment of the people (taqwiyatul ummah), to mainstream wasathiyah al-Islam (center and moderate Islam) as well as Islam rahmatan lil alamin, and to install religious values as a spirit of devotion to the nation and state. All of these goals are covered under the grand theme of the congress entitled "Strategies for the Struggle of Indonesian Muslims to Achieve Advanced, Fair and Civilized of Indonesia".

ABSTRACT In general, the condition of the education in Indonesia yet is not encouraging, among others many obstacles noted; limitation of education access, the number of teachers which is not evenly distributed, particularly to the remote areas and the quality of the teachers which does not yet meet the expectation. As per Political and Economic Risk Consultant (PERC) survey, the quality of education in Indonesia was ranked at number 12 out of 12 countries in Asia. Indonesia position was below Vietnam. One of the initiative, which is taken by the Indonesian government to reduce the gap is creating a program so called Indonesia teaching (Indonesia mengajar) by recruiting, training, and sending young people who are the best graduates of many universities to teach as elementary school teachers for one year from all over the places within Indonesia. Aside of their main duty to teach, they also have been mandated to change the behavior of the people around to be better. To support the said program, Sekolah Tinggi Manajemen IPMI has conducted a workshop regarding leadership and coaching for the candidates of young teachers (CPM). The methods of the workshop are lecturing, question and answer, case study, an explanation of the definition of the leadership in general, the leadership within own self, the leadership in regards to building the effective interrelationship with other people, how doing the effective coaching, how to give the effective feedback. Upon completion of the workshop it is expected that the CPMs will be able  to demonstrate the leadership behavior, ready to undergo the challenges and to inspire their students including other people surrounding.

This chapter introduces some of the people who played primary roles in the Adirondack Park Agency's (APA) founding. It includes the elite group of activists and policymakers who were early champions for the idea of regional land use planning; planners, lawyers, and naturalists who implemented the Land Use and Development Plan; activists who fought to abolish or weaken the plan; and public officials who had to find ways to turn it into a workable law. New York State spent twenty years struggling to write a master plan for the Adirondack Park before the APA was established. Activists had been calling for a master plan for twenty years before the state even started trying. The chapter further discusses the two produced plans, led by David Newhouse, each of them organized around a big map. One plan zoned the state land into progressively stricter classifications, culminating with wilderness. The other map rated each acre of the 3.6 million privately owned acres in terms of its suitability for development. Ultimately, the chapter assesses the aftermath of the postponement of the Land Use and Development Plan by one year and argues if the APA either saved or ruined the ecological and economic health of the park.

Community-based Water Drinking Supply and Sanitation is one of the programs implemented by the Government of Indonesia with the support of the World Bank. One of the government targets under the RPJPN 2015-2019 is that Indonesia can provide drinking water and sanitation services for the people of Indonesia. The ELECTRE method is chosen because it is able to select the best alternative from the existing alternatives. This research used seven criteria as reference in determining for recipient candidate for PAMSIMAS program. The number of incidents of diarrheal diseases in one year (number of incidents), the number of people who have not used safe drinking water (individual), the number of people who have not used the toilet, the financial ability of the region, the income of the villagers, the distance of the source of clean water from the settlement, the availability of clean water. In addition to the criteria is also used the quality of the criteria to determine the best alternative and from the calculation of the alternative obtained the greatest value contained in A4 with value E = 4 and alternative A5 with the value E =4 thereby alternatives 4 and 5 are viable alternatives to the prospective recipient villages of the PAMSIMAS program in Pringsewu district.

While doing bibliographic research on Africa for the Permanent Ethnographic Probability Sample at Northwestern University, I have had to comb much literature about Africa in my search for authors who have adequately described at least ten different aspects of the culture, have lived among the people for at least one year, and have some claim to knowledge of the native language of the people. In the investigation of bibliographies on over 400 African tribes, it has become quite evident that there is a relatively large body of detailed material written by missionaries which is seldom consulted in general research about Africa and is not readily available for use by persons with specialized research interests. These missionary reports are usually scattered in missionary records, in many journals (some of which are little known), and in books printed in small quantities by obscure presses. Most frequently they are written in German, Flemish, French, or Portuguese, and this, in addition to their not being readily available in most American libraries, may account for their not being consulted.

This dissertation presents 26 biographies and the stories of migrants from 11 different countries who came to Germany between 2011 and 2015. Based on a one-year period of research conducted in Münsterland (NRW) in 2015/2016, the work approaches its subject matter from an individual perspective in order to highlight the multidimensionality of migration and thus liberate migrants from the image of a passive mass of people, which is often propagated in politics and the media, and introduce them as autonomous actors. The biographies are outlined in detail by means of narrative interviews in order to investigate the reasons why the people interviewed decided to migrate. Therefore, this work shows that in addition to the obvious reasons for a person leaving their home country, such as war, persecution and discrimination, even complex biographical events and experiences can influence their decision to migrate.
