This study aims to describe students' mistakes in solving rectangular problems based on their cognitive development. This research is a descriptive qualitative study with 4 research’s subjects taken based on purposive sampling. Data collection techniques use tests, namely Test of Logical Operations and Problem-solving Tests. Data analysis techniques include reduction, presentation, and data verification. The results of the study show that mistakes that are often made by students are less complete in writing what is known and asked about the problem. At the stage of devising a plan, students are wrong in determining the formula, the complete steps to be used, and do not write an answer. At the stage of carrying out the plan, students tend to immediately calculate what is known in the problem, not even writing answers at all. Students do not check the answer so that the results of their conclusions and conclusions are wrong.

The research purpose was determined the effect of renumeration, obedience to the rules, and motivation to the performance of teachers of SMK Negeri 1 Sukoharjo. The research type is explanatory research. The research population are teacher of SMK Negeri 1 Sukoharjo. Sampling technique was used purposive sampling technique. Data collection was used questionnaires. Data analysis techniques were used statistical analysis including of multiple linear tests, F-test, and t-test. The research results showed that 1) remuneration has significant effect to the performance of teacher of SMK Negeri 1 Sukoharjo; 2) obedience to the rules has no significant effect to the performance of teacher of SMK Negeri 1 Sukoharjo; 3) motivation has significant effect to the performance of teacher of SMK Negeri 1 Sukoharjo; 4) remuneration, obedience to the rules, and motivation simultaneously has significant effect to the performance of teacher of SMK Negeri 1 Sukoharjo. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of assertive training techniques on the adaptation of class X students at SMAS Darul Hikmah Mataram. This research method uses experiments. The population in this study were all students of class X SMAS Darul Hikmah Mataram, amounting to 16 students. In this study using purposive sampling to determine the sample and produced 6 students to study who experienced low adjustment. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques using statistical analysis with the t-test formula. In accordance with the results of the calculation of tcount obtained from the results of the study showed 12,156. While the t-test value in the table with db (N-1) = 6-1 = 5 with a significance level of 0.05 or 5% = 2.015. So the results obtained in this study are greater than t table (12,156> 2,015), thus the conclusion obtained in this study is that there is an influence of assertive training techniques on the adjustment of class X students in SMAS Darul Hikmah Mataram.

<div align="center"><table width="645" border="1" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0"><tbody><tr><td valign="top" width="439"><p><strong>Abstract:</strong> <em>Berkombur </em>is an activity of communicating both verbally and nonverbally by a group. The purpose of this activity is as a means of socializing, entertainment, increasing friendship, a problem solving and most importantly by inserting humor at each discussion of the theme so that the feeling of saturation and fatigue all day long works away with a happy laugh. This activity is a characteristic of Batubara Melayu culture. The purpose of this study is to describe kinship values in combat activities and obtain construction procedures as an effort to modify students' interpersonal skills. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with a type of dialogue research. The research subject is a student who is an expert in the activity. Coupled with BK teachers, the community, and Malayu humanist. The instrument of data collection uses participant observation and interviews. Data analysis by reducing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that there are eight values in the activity which are grouped into kinship values, and obtaining construction implementation in conducting <em>berkombur</em> activities as an effort to modify interpersonal skills.</p><p class="Abstract"><strong>Abstrak:</strong> <em>Berkombur </em>adalah suatu kegiatan berkomunikasi baik secara verbal maupun nonverbal yang dilakukan suatu kelompok. Tujuan dari aktivitas ini sebagai sarana bersosial, hiburan, meningkatkan silaturahmi, penyelesaian suatu masalah dan menyisipkan humor pada setiap pembahasan tema sehingga rasa jenuh dan letih seharian bekerja hilang dengan tertawa gembira. Aktivitas ini menjadi ciri khas budaya Melayu Batubara. Tujuan dari kajian ini adalah mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai kekerabatan dalam aktivitas <em>berkombur</em> dan memperoleh konstruksi prosedur sebagai upaya modifikasi kecakapan interpersonal siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan tipe riset dialog. Subjek penelitian yaitu seorang siswa yang ahli dengan kegiatan tersebut. Ditambah dengan guru BK, Masyarakat, serta budayawan melayu. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi partisipan dan wawancara. Analsis data dengan cara mereduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan ada delapan nilai di dalam aktivitas tersebut yang dikelompokkan menjadi nilai kekerabatan, serta memperoleh konstruksi pelaksanaan dalam melakukan aktivitas <em>berkombur </em>sebagai upaya modifikasi kecakapan interpersonal.</p></td></tr></tbody></table></div>

Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memahami secara komprehensif nilai-nilai humaniora dalam antologi puisi "Blues untuk Bonnie" karya WS Rendra. Metode penelitian yang digunakan deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan studi pustaka, dan teknik analisis data dengan analisis isi melalui kajian struktural semiotik. Hasil penelitian yakni antologi puisi Blues untuk Bonnie karya WS Rendra mengandung nilai-nilai humaniora yang terlihat melalui tanda-tanda semiotik berupa moralitas, simpati, empati, kasih sayang, kepedulian, kerjasama, dan toleransi. Temuan penelitian ini merekomendasikan bahwa masih banyak jenis-jenis karya sastra yang dapat dijadikan objek kajian dengan menggunakan pendekatan-pendekatan yang berbeda untuk mengungkap nilai-nilai pendidikan terutama pendidikan karakter bagi siswa dan mahasiswa. Temuan penelitian ini memberikan implikasi terhadap pengajaran sastra di sekolah lanjutan sampai perguruan tinggi dalam bentuk penyusunan bahan ajar atau pengembangan model pembelajaran apresiasi sastra sebagai alternatif pemecahan masalah pendidikan karater bangsa. Kata Kunci: Nilai-nilai humaniora, antologi puisi, kajian struktural semiotik Abstract The objective of this research is to understand comprehensively the humanities values in antology of poetry "Blues for Bonnie" by WS Rendra. The research used content analysis method with qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are used library study and data analysis techniques with content analysis through the study of structuralism semiotic. The result was the antology of poetry 'Blues for Bonnie" by WS Rendra contains humanities values seen through semiotic signs are morality, symphaty, empbaty, love, care, togetherness, and tolerant. The findings lead to the recomendation that there are still many kinds of literary works which can be the object of research by using different approaches for investigating education characters! values for students. This finding implicates to literary instruction in schools to universities in forms of teaching materials or literary appreciation instruction as one of the alternative problem solving of the nation character education. This research aims to analyze the influence of education level, income and consumption on the number of poor people in the east java province partially and simultaneously. The population of this research is poor people in east java province from the year 2009-2013. The technique of sampling applies purposive sampling. Furthermore, the method of data collection uses method of documentation while the method of data analysis is regression analysis techniques of panel data. The result of data analysis shows that in partial the education level does not influence significantly to the number of poor people of east java. However, the income and consumption influence significantly to the number of poor people of east java. Moreover, simultaneously the education level, income and consumption influence significantly to the number of poor people of east java

<p align="center"><strong><em>ABSTRACT</em></strong></p><p><em>This study examines the film “</em><em>Aach…Aku Jatuh Cinta” (Aach...I Fall in Love). This study aims to find out the visualization of the setting as a timepiece in the film “Aach…Aku Jatuh Cinta” through the size of the image. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research. The selection of samples in this study was carried out by purposive sampling technique. Data collection is done by observation and interviews, while data analysis is done through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions and verification. Research focuses on setting as a timepiece visualized in the film “Aach…Aku Jatuh Cinta” through the size of the image. The results of the research of “Aach…Aku Jatuh Cinta” show the time settings are divided into three sequences, the settings that appeared in 1970, 1980 and 1990.</em></p><p><em>Keywords : visualization, setting, movie, and "Aach...Aku Jatuh Cinta".</em></p><h1> </h1><p align="center"><strong>ABSTRAK</strong></p><p>Studi ini mengkaji film <em>Aach<strong>…</strong>Aku Jatuh Cinta</em>. Penelitian fokus pada<em> setting </em>sebagai penunjuk waktu yang divisualisasikan dalam film  <em>Aach<strong>…</strong>Aku Jatuh Cinta</em> melalui ukuran gambar. AbstrakPenelitian ini adalah penelitian dasar (basic research) yang mencoba untuk mengkaji metode penciptaan karya seni murni bentuk representasional, simbolik dan abstrak. Kajian dilakukan terhadap beberapa seniman lukis, grafis dan patung di empat kota dalam wilayah Sumatera Barat, Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data utama dilakukan melalui observasi dan wawancara dengan sumber primer, yaitu seniman. Sedangkan data tidak langsung dikumpulkan melalui jurnal, buku, video foto, katalog pameran, karya-karya seniman, dan dokumen-dokumen terkait. Teknik analisis data dilakukan sebelum di lapangan dan di lapangan. Temuan penelitian ini adalah berupa metode yang spesifik, lebih operasional dan teknis tentang penciptaan karya seni murni bentuk representasional, simbolik dan abstrak.  Kata Kunci: Metode, Representasional, Simbolik, Abstrak.AbstractThis research is a basic research which tries to examine the method of creating pure works of representational, symbolic and abstract forms. The study was carried out on several painters, engravers and sculptors in four cities in the West Sumatra region of Indonesia. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The main data collection techniques are carried out through observation and interviews with primary sources, namely artists. While indirect data is collected through journals, books, videos, photos, exhibition catalogs, works of artists, and related documents. Data analysis techniques were carried out before on the field and in the field. The findings of this study are in the form of specific, more operational and technical methods about the creation of pure works of representational, symbolic and abstract forms. This study aims to explore the students’ perception of the use of English as Medium of Instruction (EMI) in teaching and learning at SMA Negeri 1 Kota Gorontalo. This explorative qualitative study employed a purposive sampling method. This study involved 112 twelve-grade students from IPA, IPS, and BAHASA majors of SMA Negeri 1 Kota Gorontalo as the subjects.  This study utilized questionnaires for data collection, while the Likert Scale and Percentage Formula were performed in data analysis. The result showed that the students had positive perceptions of the three EMI types of perception: visual, auditory, and speech perception. The average results in visual, auditory, and speech perceptions were 70.96% (‘strongly agree’ category), 70.49% (‘strongly agree’ category), and 57.90% (‘agree’ category). Further study with bigger samples and different subjects is recommended since this research only focuses on students perception of the Use of EMI in Teaching and Learning at SMA Negeri 1 Kota Gorontalo.

The purpose of this research is to describe the illocutionary acts on one of Gita Savitri Devi’s Youtube Channel video entitled Kenapa kita membenci? Beropini eps. 46. The method use in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The data in this research are illocutionary acts spoken by Gita Savitri Devi in one of her Youtube Channel videos. The data source in this research is the narration delivered by Gita Savitri Devi in that video. The data collection techniques using hearken technique. Data analysis techniques in this research were carried out through the steps : (1) Data transcription, (2) Data classification, and (3) Data inference. The results obtained by the type of assertive illocutionary acts, directive illocutionary acts, and expresive illocutionary acts. While the types of commissive illocutionary acts and declaration illocutionary acts were not found in this research.

<p>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah segi empat pada fase konkret, dan fase transisi. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif deskritptif dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 4 subjek yang diambil berdasarkan purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model yang dikembangkan oleh Miles dan Huberman yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan menarik kesimpulan/verifikasi data. Kesalahan yang sering dilakukan siswa fase konkret yaitu siswa salah dalam menggambar bangun yang diceritakan soal, salah dalam menentukan rumus dan tidak menuliskan rencana penyelesaian, salah melakukan prosedur penyelesaian dan tidak menggunakan rumus secara semestinya, serta tidak melakukan pemeriksaan kembali jawaban. Kesalahan yang sering dilakukan siswa fase transisi yaitu siswa salah dalam menggambarkan bangun yang diceritakan dalam soal, salah dalam menuliskan rumus yang perlu digunakan, pada tahap melaksanakan rencana tidak terjadi kesalahan, serta tidak melakukan pemeriksaan kembali jawaban.</p><p> </p><p>This study aims to describe the mistakes made by students in solving rectangular problems in the concrete phase and the transition phase. This study uses descriptive qualitative research with four research subjects taken based on purposive sampling. Data collection techniques using the test. Data analysis techniques using a model developed by Miles and Huberman, namely data reduction, data presentation, and concluding/verification of data. Students often made mistakes. In the concrete phase, students making drawings that are told about problems.  Errors in determining formulas and not writing completion plans, error when doing completion procedures and not using formulas properly, and not re-checking answers. In the transition phase, students who are wrong in describing the shapes told in the problem. Errors in writing the formula that needs to be used, at the stage of carrying out the plan there is no error, and not re-checking the answers.</p>
