The presence of educational institutions as an alternative choice for students.their scientific repertoire is felt quite useful. To further enhance the role and participation. non-formal education institutions in the community then the existence of a public relations figure required. Roles and duties of public relations here to represent the existence and image of educational institutions in addition to addressing all forms of problems related to public relations. The problem that arises is the role and function of a public relations practitioner is perceived not enough role and important then not many educational institutions that set up a separate department for the public relations department. The existence of this public relations should be at the top level of management so that it can provide input at the institutional management level. The concepts used in relation to this writing are related to the functions and roles of Public Relations, Public Relations management strategies and communication strategies of educational institutions. To get a good image is required a good management strategy, one of which is to improve the relationship with the parties that establish cooperation with educational institutions in this case represented by a public relations. Given the importance of role and function public relations then it is appropriate that its presence is also considered in educational institutions.

AbstractThis paper is based on research results that describe the role and function of foundations in fostering madrasas. His findings indicate that the weakening of the role and function of foundations in fostering madrasas, especially in their control functions, results in the existence of madrasas that are unable to compete with educational institutions at the same level as their surroundings. The transfer of control functions by the foundation to a madrasah head indicates that the management process has not been fully developed as a collaborative process between the foundation, the head, and the madrasah committee. The government itself has only played a role at the level of administrative guidance for madrasah institutions and has not yet touched on the aspect of foundations as the owner of madrasah institutions. Therefore, steps are needed to increase the role of foundations in fostering madrasas through strengthening institutional management, strengthening human resources for teaching and education personnel as well as adequate infrastructure to drive the pace of madrasah institutional organization. Supported and strengthened by refreshing mutual agreement in carrying out the vision and mission of madrasah management to achieve shared goals. The knot point, among others, lies in the leadership of the foundation and the head of the madrasa which is strengthened by empowerment support by the government.AbstrakTulisan ini bersumber dari hasil penelitian yang menggambarkan peran dan fungsi yayasan dalam membina madrasah. Temuannya menunjukkan bahwa dengan melemahnya peran dan fungsi yayasan dalam membina madrasah, khususnya pada fungsi pengendalian, berakibat pada eksistensi madrasah yang tidak mampu berkompetisi dengan lembaga pendidikan setingkat di sekitarnya. Penyerahan fungsi pengendalian oleh yayasan pada seorang kepala madrasah, mengindikasikan bahwa proses manajemen belum sepenuhnya dibangun sebagai suatu proses kerjasama antara yayasan, kepala dan komite madrasah. Pihak pemerintah sendiri baru berperan pada tataran pembinaan administratif kelembagaan madrasah dan belum menyentuh pada aspek yayasan sebagai pemilik kelembagaan madrasah. Oleh karena itu diperlukan langkah peningkatan peran yayasan dalam membina madrasah melalui penguatan manajemen kelembagaan, penguatan SDM tenaga pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan serta sarana prasarana yang memadai untuk menggerakkan lajunya organisasi kelembagaan madrasah. Didukung dan diperkuat dengan penyegaran kembali kesepakatan bersama dalam mengemban visi misi pengelolaan madrasah untuk mencapai tujuan bersama yang dinginkan. Titik simpulnya antara lain ada pada kepemimpinan yayasan dan kepala madrasah yang diperkuat dengan dukungan pemberdayaan oleh pemerintah.

The global and Iranian pandemic crisis of the coronavirus caused the health system to face the problem of insufficient resources. Outpatient convalescence for coronavirus disease is one of the most effective ways to reduce hospital load and costs. In order to set up any position related to the issue of health, it is necessary to formulate the necessary laws, regulations, and standards, in which different levels of decision-making and implementation must play a role. Formulation of goals, laws, coordination, provision of equipment and space, manpower, and cost coverage should be considered in highlighting the role and function of convalescents by the authorities. This study aimed to review the management strategies of coronavirus patients.

Public Relations has an important role and function in managing business activities. One of them is relied to develop restaurant or café business especially for tourism city like Bandung. A café’s service is one of the value that can determine customer satisfaction, other than that, the concept of a restaurant or cafe can be an attractive value for visitors, to be able to judge whether it is worthy of being a place that is frequently visited. This study aims to find out how well the services provided by Chingu Korean Fan Cafe. This research uses descriptive method, namely research that only describes situations or events. The population of this study was Bandung Chingu cafe consumers who came to the cafe when the research was conducted (questionnaire distribution). The numbers cannot be ascertained due to the absence of consumer identity data at Chingu Cafe. Therefore, researchers do not have a sampling frame.

Este artículo presenta el tema de la transversalidad, exponiendo la importancia que conlleva su incorporación en la formación académica que ofrecen las universidades, siendo una  temática que aún presenta interrogantes más en su parte práctica desde el qué y el cómo.  Desde la experiencia académica del diseño curricular y la docencia, se visualiza en el accionar de las instituciones educativas, la dificultad del manejo de esta herramienta pedagógica en la gestión que realizan diversas instituciones, para poder integrarla como proyecto y cultura institucional. La exposición de la temática, pretende, enmarcar la necesidad de ser un tema prioritario en las mesas de discusión académica, ya que solo así se podrá llegar a propuestas del adecuado manejo e incorporación de los ejes transversales desde lo que compete al accionar institucional.Palabras clave: transversalidad, ejes transversales, educación, currículo, gestión institucional.AbstractThis document refers to transversality, showing its relevance when introduced in formal education in colleges.  This subject still has plenty of unanswered questions on its how to, side of implementation. From the Academic Experience’s point of view while teaching and throughout curricular design, it is envisioned to work properly on all educational institutions; though this pedagogical tool is hard to implement in the daily functions of the learning centers as part of its curriculum and institutional culture. This dissertation tries to expose the relevance and the need of “transversality” of becoming a priority subject in all educational discussion boards; this is considered as the only possible route to generate the proper aproach and incorporation of the transversal axes from the institutional actions point of view.Keywords: transversality, superior education, transversal axes, curriculum, institutional management

Discipline culture is a reflection of the quality of educational institutions. The low level of discipline is the main problem of every educational institution. The role of leadership is very much needed in overcoming this problem. This paper aims to describe the leadership role of madrasah principals in improving the disciplinary culture of students at MAS Patra Mandiri Plaju Palembang. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive analytic study method. Data were collected using interview techniques, observation and documentation study. The results of this study indicate that the headmaster of MAS Patra Mandiri Plaju Palembang has played its role and function in improving the disciplinary culture of students in a fairly good category. This is supported by 2 factors, namely (1) the role models of madrasah principals in complying with school regulations; and (2) socialization of school discipline rules and sanctions for violations. The obstacles faced by madrasah principals are (1) there are still some teachers who do not exemplify student attitudes; and (2) there are still students who are not "deterred" to be given disciplinary violations.

E-learning has made its entrance into educational institutions. Compared to traditional learning methods, e-learning has the benefit of enabling educational institutions to attract more students. E-learning not only opens up for an increased enrollment, it also gives students who would otherwise not be able to take the education to now get the possibility to do so. This paper introduces Axel Honneth’s theory on the need for recognition as a framework to understand the role and function of interaction in relation to e-learning. The paper argues that an increased focus on the dialectic relationship between recognition and learning will enable an optimization of the learning conditions and the interactive affordances targeting students under e-learning programs. The paper concludes that the engagement and motivation to learn are not only influenced by but depending on recognition.

Background: Educational institutions set up a reward management system with the hope that it makes the employees perform their activities to the satisfaction of all concerned stakeholders. However, there are many contradictions and complaints about the performance of employees in colleges, compelling the undertaking the studies. Objectives: This study aims to examine the impact of reward management strategies on employee satisfaction in colleges of Kathmandu valley. Methods: This paper uses a questionnaire survey method of 300 respondentsof different 30 colleges/campuses of Kathmandu valley and descriptive statistics and multiple regression models are used to analyze the data. Results: The beta coefficients are positive and significant for promotion, compensation, recognition, learning opportunities, and career development opportunity with employee satisfaction which indicates these variables have a positive impact on employee satisfaction. Conclusion: It is found that reward management is positively related to employee satisfaction and it is a powerful motivational factor that leads to job satisfaction. Implications: College management including universities may focus on identifying better reward management strategies to motivate the employees to enhance better productivity.

This study aims to determine how the role and function of Public Relations in LKBN ANTARA Bureau Lampung in maintaining a positive image in the eyes of the public. In order to examine this research, the author uses descriptive qualitative research methods with data collection in the form of interviews, documentation and literature. The subject of this research is Public Relations practitioners in LKBN Anatara Lampung bureau. This study looks at the impact of technological advances that have disrupted conventional mass media, so that news channels are now converged into online channels. However, due to the convenience offered by online media, the information submitted cannot be filtered properly. The amount of information that is anonymous has resulted in the largest number of hoax news in online media. This reduces the credibility of an online news portal in the eyes of the public. Even some people doubt the accuracy of the news available on online channels. Public Relations at LKBN ANTARA Bureau Lampung acts as a Communication Technician, Communication Facilitator and Problem Solving Facilitator. And Public Relations here also acts as a management function and communication function.

The research aimed to discuss the position and function of the saronen instrument in Sumenep, Madura. Saronen, as one of the cultural heritage of the Madurese people, was still preserved. The research questions were: (1) what was the position of the saronen instrument in the culture of the Madurese people? (2) How was the strategy for the inheritance of the instrument carried out by the people of Sumenep, Madura? The research was conducted using qualitative methods. The data collection process was carried out through observation, literature study, and interviews with ten informants. Data analysis was carried out in a descriptive qualitative manner using semiotic theory and structural-functional theory. The results show (1) the saronen instrument has an important position in the culture of the Madurese people, including Madurese ethnic identity, as a public relations media, and the branding of Sumenep as a tourist destination in East Java. The saronen instrument, which is originally used as a da'wah medium, has now developed as a musical accompaniment to the activities of the sapi sono and karapan sapi contest and entertainment medium for the Madurese people in celebratory events and government events. (2) The inheritance strategy of the saronen instrument is carried out by the indigenous people through a vertical system, namely an inheritance system through a genetic mechanism passed down from time to time across generations and a horizontal system, namely inheritance through institutions, including educational institutions such as schools and art studios.

Muhammadiyah organization in Sumbawa regency was established on 6 May 1940. The movement and the development of educational institutions Muhammadiyah Sumbawa has been felt by the community. The development of educational institutions Muhammadiyah Sumbawa able to set up education through three lines of education, namely: formal education, non-formal and informal. formal education has been established since the year 1941-2013, thenumber of 23 educational institutions, including; 4 (four) kindergarten Ortom(Autonomous organizations)Aisyiah, 6 (six) elementary and MI (madrasah ibtidaiyah) , 6 (six) SMP (junior high school)and MTS (madrasah tsanawiyah), 6 (six) SMA (Senior High School) and MA (madrasah aliyah), 1 (one) colleges. While informal pathways, include; orphanage, cottage tahfizulquran and manage mosques. As developed through informal education through a variety of program areas stewardship activities Muhammadiyah Sumbawa.Based on the above background, the formulation of the problem in this research is How the History and Development of Institutions of Muhammadiyah in Sumbawa and what are the factors supporting and inhibiting the development of Muhammadiyah Education Institute in Sumbawa. While the purpose of this study was to describe the history and development of educational institutions Muhammadiyah in Sumbawa as well as factors supporting and inhibiting. Based on the research results, indicate that during the struggle for the developmentof educational institutions Muhammadiyahof the year 1952-2014, Muhammadiyah Sumbawa able to give an important role in developingthe educational institutions of Muhammadiyah Sumbawaby providing of islamic guidance,which is realized by three educational paths, is education formal, non-formal and informal. As for enabling and inhibiting factors that influencesuccess of the organization Muhammadiyah Sumbawa in developing educationalinstitutions Muhammadiyah can be seen from several internal and external factors are schools, human resources and educational tools. While the factors that most basic is a factor that is an asset fund the passage of a education, While the inhibiting factors that most basic is a factor that is an asset fund the passage of a education, and unmatched strictly by the state education agency Berdirinya organisasi Muhammadiyah di Kabupaten Sumbawa pada tanggal 6 Mei 1940. Gerakan dan perkembangan lembaga penddikan Muhammadiyah Sumbawa telah dapat dirasakan oleh masyarakat. Perkembangan lembaga penddikan Muhammadiyah Sumbawa mampu mendirikan pendidikan melalui 3 jalur pendidikan, yaitu: pendidikan formal, nonformal dan informal. melalui jalur pendidikan formal telah didirikan dari semnjak tahun 1941-2013, dengan jumlah 23 lembaga pendidikan, meliputi; 4 (empat) jenjang TK Ortom Aisyiah, 6 (enam) jenjang SD dan MI, 6 (enam) jenjang SMP dan MTS, 6 (enam) jenjang SMA dan MA, 1 (satu) jenjang perguruan tinggi. Melalui jalur nonformal, meliputi; panti asuhan, pondok tahfizul qur’an dan mengelola masjid. Adapun melalui pendidikan informal yaitu dikembangkan melaui berbagai program kegiatan bidang-bidang kepengurusan Muhammadiyah Sumbawa. Berdasarkan latar belakang di atas, maka rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah Bagaimanakah Sejarah dan Perkembangan Lembaga Pendidikan Muhammadiyah di Kabupaten Sumbawa dan apa saja yang menjadi faktor pendukung dan penghambat perkembangan Lembaga Pendidikan Muhammadiyah di Kabupaten Sumbawa. Sedangkan tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan sejarah dan perkembangan lembaga pendidikan Muhammadiyah di Kabupaten Sumbawa serta faktor pendudukung dan penghambatnya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, menunjukkan bahwa sepanjang masa perjuangan pengembangan lembaga pendidikan Muhammadiyah dari tahun 1952-2014, Muhammadiyah Sumbawa mampu memberi peranan penting dalam mengembangan lembaga pendidikan Muhammadiyah Sumbawa dengan memberi pedoman keislaman, yang mana diwujudkan melalui tiga jalur pendidikan, yaitu pendidikan formal, nonformal dan informal. Adapun faktor pendukung dan penghambat yang sangat mempengaruhi keberhasilan organisasi Muhammadiyah Sumbawa dalam mengembangkan lembaga pendidikan Muhammadiyah dapat dilihat dari beberapa faktor internal dan eksternal adalah sekolah, SDM, dan alat pendidikan. Sedangkan faktor penghambat yang paling pokok adalah faktor dana yang merupakan aset berjalannya suatu pendidikan, dan tersaingi ketat oleh lembaga pendidikan negeri.
