This study aims to determine how the role and function of Public Relations in LKBN ANTARA Bureau Lampung in maintaining a positive image in the eyes of the public. In order to examine this research, the author uses descriptive qualitative research methods with data collection in the form of interviews, documentation and literature. The subject of this research is Public Relations practitioners in LKBN Anatara Lampung bureau. This study looks at the impact of technological advances that have disrupted conventional mass media, so that news channels are now converged into online channels. However, due to the convenience offered by online media, the information submitted cannot be filtered properly. The amount of information that is anonymous has resulted in the largest number of hoax news in online media. This reduces the credibility of an online news portal in the eyes of the public. Even some people doubt the accuracy of the news available on online channels. Public Relations at LKBN ANTARA Bureau Lampung acts as a Communication Technician, Communication Facilitator and Problem Solving Facilitator. And Public Relations here also acts as a management function and communication function.

PurposeThe aim of this study was to understand how public relations leaders view and use social media analytics (SMA) and the impact of SMA on the public relations function.Design/methodology/approachThe research involved in-depth interviews with chief communication officers (CCOs) from leading multinational corporate brands.FindingsThe findings revealed that although CCOs perceive social media analytics as strategically important to the advancement of public relations, the use of social media data is slowed by challenges associated with building SMA capacity.Theoretical and practical implications – The research extends public relations theory on public relations as a strategic management function and provides practical insights for building SMA capabilities.Originality/valueThe study is among the first to provide empirical evidence of how companies are using social media analytics to enhance public relations efforts.

Civil society (civil society) as the ideal structure of society's life that is aspired to, but building a civil society is not easy. There are preconditions that must be met by the community in making it happen. Coupled with technological advances in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.o like today, where information can spread easily through various online media unlimitedly in spreading hoaxes. This research seeks to uncover the dangers of hoaxes in building civil society. This research uses descriptive analytical method by examining the sources of literature related to building civil society in the Industrial Revolution 4.o. This research found that the public space is a means of free speech; democratic behavior; tolerant; pluralism; and social justice can shape civil society. whereas the impact of hoax news greatly affects the way people perceive a certain issue, so that people cannot distinguish which news is real or fake news which causes them to be incited by fake news that is spread.

This discussion paper explores the concept of globalisation, the impact of globalisation on culture, and the implications for public relations practitioners. Globalisation, viewed from a narrow perspective, may lead to a certain amount of global ‘sameness’. In other aspects, ethnic and cultural identities are getting stronger; the reverse of what subscribers to the notion of Western cultural imperialism expect. For public relations practitioners in the field of international public relations there are many implications that at first might not be recognized if the simplistic view that globalisation leads to a homogenized global culture is adhered to.

Public Relations has an important role and function in managing business activities. One of which is relied on to develop agro tourism products that can create a branding reinforcement of a product to the public. Performing a public relations strategy is done so that perception value can be well received by the public. This study aims to study the branding strategy of public relation of window Jendela Alam in developing agrotourism products that focus on building trust with stakeholders, conducting external activities and choosing the communication media. This study uses qualitative methods with a case study approach. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and literature studies. The results show that building trust with various stakeholders is needed in strengthening the branding. This can be done with integrity, credibility and capability. External communication is carried out as a means for companies to establish and develop relationships with stakeholders, as well as the use of communication media to publish all forms of the Jendela Alam activities in developing agro-tourism products so that the public knows various information about agrotourism products while strengthening the Jendela Alam agrotourims products.

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penentuan masalah, perencanaan, pelaksanaan serta evaluasi yang dilakukan oleh praktisi humas Yayasan Pendidikan Al Ma’soem dalam mengelola website guna meningkatkan citra positif lembaga. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan analisis deksriptif dengan pendekatan kualitiatif. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu dengan wawancara, dan observasi dengan tiga informan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa praktisi humas Yayasan Pendidikan Al Ma’soem dalam pengelolaan website guna meningkatkan citra positif lembaga menggunakan empat tahapan proses public relations yakni pertama dengan menentukan masalah melalui koran, berita online dan layanan pengaduan masyarakat. Kedua perencanaan, yang dilakukan yakni ketika ada kegiatan, dibuat berita, dimasukan ke website yang diharapkan sampai kepada masyarakat. Ketiga pelaksanaan, dibagi menjadi tiga admin, yaitu admin informasi, admin pemberitaan dan admin informasi tekhnologi (IT). Keempat, evaluasi, yakni menilai keberhasilan program dari grafik, pusat informasi dan total pengunjung. Kata Kunci : Pengelolaan; Website; Citra This paper aims to determine the problem determination, planning, implementation and evaluation of Al Ma’soem Education Foundation's public relations practitioners in managing websites to improve the positive image of the institution. The research method used in this study is using descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach. Data collection used in this study is by interview, and observation with three informants. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the Al Ma’soem Education Foundation public relations practitioner in managing websites to enhance the positive image of the institution uses the four stages of the public relations process namely first by determining the problem through newspapers, online news and public complaints services. Both planning, which is carried out when there are activities, made news, entered into the website that is expected to reach the community. The third implementation, divided into three admins, namely information admin, admin reporting and information technology admin (IT). The purpose of this study is to understand the role and function of the Election Winning Institution as PKB party public relations and to analyze the communication strategies applied in the 2019 election. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, where data is collected through interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The results of the study indicate that the role and function of the Election Winning Institution as Public Relations in PKB are to provide information, convince the public, and generate public interest. Meanwhile, the communication strategy carried out in winning the 2019 Legislative Election are to strengthen friendships with Nahdliyyin scholars and carry out door-to-door communication.

The interactive communication in the artificial environment has widened its limits with the usage of the social media tools and has become an inevitable element of the digital era. The usage of the tools such as social network sharing sites, blogs, e-mail usage, intranet, video conferencing, forums, video sharing sites such as Youtube, music sharing sites, business network sites, cooperative web sites, instant message, vikis, podcasts, training materials sharing, social bookmarking, bookmarking sites ensuring its users to make online news, stories, music, personal publication which take place in the social media tools by the public relations practitioners gradually gains importance in terms of the public relations practitioners.In this study, the place and importance of social media tools with regards to public relations and their role in creating a new public relations process are discussed. Accordingly, an online questionnaire form was prepared and sent via e-mail to the public relations practitioners. These public relations practitioners were determined through the survey results of Turkeys Top 500 Industrial Enterprises 2011 which was conducted regularly by Istanbul Chamber of Industry ISO . An assessment intended to identify the trends and reasons of use of social media tools by the public relations practitioners who work in the biggest companies of Turkey and their perceptions of social media and traditional media was made.

The development of technology, information technology and various means of communication have a significant impact on public relations activity; especially in government institutions. Many government institutions have invested these means in their management system, in order to facilitate the goals of the institution, and ultimately the interaction between the internal and external public. In this theoretical research, I tried to explain the impact of the new media on public relations in the public administration, based on the views of specialists. The aim of the research is to know the use of the new media of public relations and how in the system of public administration, as well as, Explaining the role it plays in public relations activities of government institutions. Add to this, analyzing the way of how new media and public relations participate in the birth of e-government. In the results, it is clear that the new media has facilitated public relations between the public and other institutions, as it strengthened relations between them

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menggambarkan mengenai tahap membagikan, mengoptimalkan, mengelola serta mengikutsertakan pada  pengelolaan cyber  public  relations  dalam  membentuk  corporate  branding  di PT  Len Industri (Persero). Konsep  yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu konsep  model melingkar  untuk  sosial  media  menurut Regina  Luttrell . Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan metode deksriptif dengan pendekatan kualitiatif. Pengumpulan  data  yang  digunakan  yaitu dengan wawancara, dan observasi.  Hasil  penelitian dilapangan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa praktisi  humas  PT Len Industri (Persero) dalam pengelolaan cyber public relations guna membentuk corporate branding memiliki  empat  tahapan  yakni : 1) tahap  membagikan  konten terdiri dari: a) berpartisipasi  menggunakan  media  sosial , b) saling terhubung dengan publik, c) membangun  kepercayaan publik . 2) tahap pengoptimalan pesan  yang dilakukan  yakni  dengan : a) melakukan  pengecekan hashtag, b) melakukan postingan lima kali sehari, dan c) melakukan  postingan yang memiliki unsur teknologi. 3) mengelola dibagi menjadi tiga, yaitu : a) media monitoring, b) interaksi dalam waktu yang sebenarnya, dan c) memberikan respon cepat. 4) mengikutsertakan publik dengan tiga unsure yaitu : a) menjalin hubungan dengan para influencer, b) mengetahui dimana dan siapa audiens, serta c)  meraih target audiens. Kata Kunci: Pengelolaan; Cyber Public Relations; Corporate Branding. ABSTRACT The  purpose  of  to  find  out and describe the sharingstage,optimize,manage  and engage in cyber public relations management in forming a corporate branding in PT Len Industri (Persero). The concept  used  in  this research is the concept of  The Circular model of Some to Regina Luttrell. The research method using  an  adaptive  method  with  a  qualitative  approach. Data collection used in this study is by interview,and observation. The results of the research in the field can be concluded that PT Len Industri (Persero) public  relations  practitioners  in  the management  of  cyber  public  relations  to  form  corporate  branding  has  four  stages : 1) The share stage consists of: a) participating  in  social  media  (participate), b) connect with public (connect), c) build  public  trust (build trust). 2) optimize phase messages that are carried out by: a) checking hashtag, b) posting  five time a day, c) do posts that have technological elements. 3) The  manage  divided  into: a) media  monitoring, b) interaction  in  real  time, c)  provide quick response. 4) engage  the  public  : a) establish  a  relationship  with  influencer, b) where and  who  is  the  audience, c)  reach  the target  audience.
