Unej Mengajar focuses to develop education, literacy and economics. The movement was initiated by Jember University’s students to solve some problems in Jember’s society. This research was aimed to exploring and describing what are Unej Mengajar steps and solutions in improving the quality of human resources in the retarded area of Jember. The subjects were the administrators of Unej Mengajar, and the targeted community were chosen by stratified random sampling technique. Data were collected through documentation, participatory observation, and in-depth interviews. Miles & Huberman technique was used to analyze the data; data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that Unej Mengajar used ethnography and participatory approaches to identify and analyze the needs of community. They formulated the program that is transformed into three main developmental activities: SP & SV (education), Literacy (literacy), and Entrepreneurship (economics). Volunteers were recruited without any rejection, but quality control (QC).

Abstract: The formulation of this study is review the influence of functional training planners to the quality planners, the influence of work motivation to the quality of planner, and the influence of functional training planners and motivation to work together to the quality of Bappenas planners. The method used in this research is descriptive method with quantitative approach. The sampling technique is using proportionate stratified random sampling with a number of sample sizes of 137 people. Furthermore, the data obtained, processed and analyzed with SPSS 19.0 for windows Program by performing statistical test, those are the t test and F test. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive influence between functional training planners to quality planners, work motivation to quality planners, and the influence of the two together to the quality planner. The dimension of functional training planners that have an influence to the quality of planners is the management and faculty training. In addition, the study is also found that the dimension of work motivation which has an influence to the quality of planners is the need for achievement and the need for power. Keywords: Training, Work Motivation, Quality Planner Abstrak: Perumusan penelitian ini mengkaji besarnya pengaruh diklat fungsional perencana terhadap kualitas perencana, pengaruh motivasi kerja terhadap kualitas perencana, dan pengaruh diklat fungsional perencana dan motivasi kerja secara bersama-sama terhadap kualitas perencana Bappenas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh perencana di Bappenas tahun 2016. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan proportionate stratified random sampling dengan jumlah ukuran sampel 137 orang. Selanjutnya, data yang diperoleh, diolah dan dianalisa  dengan bantuan program SPSS 19.0 for windows dengan melakukan uji statistik yaitu uji t dan uji F. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif antara diklat fungsional perencana terhadap kualitas perencana, motivasi kerja terhadap kualitas perencana, dan pengaruh keduanya secara bersama-sama terhadap kualitas perencana. Dimensi diklat fungsional perencana yang memiliki pengaruh terhadap kualitas perencana adalah pengelolaan dan tenaga pengajar diklat. Selain itu, penelitian juga menemukan bahwa dimensi motivasi kerja yang memiliki pengaruh terhadap kualitas perencana adalah kebutuhan akan prestasi dan kebutuhan akan kekuasaan. An important element of human resources, compensation is an effective tool to attract and retain skilled employees. Despite its crucial importance the literature concerning executive compensation in the hotel industry is very few especially those focusing on fringe benefits. To fill the gap in the hotel human resources literature, this study assessed the level of fringe benefits provided to executives in the hotel industry. The purpose of this empirical study was to gain information regarding executives’ compensation in the industry. Stratified random sampling technique was used to ensure that the findings represented hotels of various star-ratings. A total of 250 questionnaires were distributed to the ratio of 6:3:4 to three-, four- and five-star hotels and 104 were returned. The findings revealed that there is a statistically significant difference in the fringe benefits given between three -, four - and five-star hotels, and the star rating of hotels positively correlates with the level of fringe benefits provided to hotel executives.  


ملـخص: هدفت الدارسة إلى التعرف على أثر الولاء التنظيمي كمتغير وسيط في العلاقة بين استراتيجيات الموارد البشرية و أداء العاملين في مستشفى بيت حانون، وقد أجريت الدارسة على جميع الموظفين العاملين في المستشفى والبالغ عددهم (200) موظفاً وموظفة، و تم توزيع استبانة أعدت خصيصاً لهذا الغرض باستخدام أسلوب العينة العشوائية الطبقية، ولقد تم استرداد (106) استبانة, واستخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي والأساليب الإحصائية المناسبة لمعالجة البيانات وتحليلها باستخدام برنامج SPSS. وقد خلصت الدراسة إلى وجود أثراً دال معنوياً عند مستوى الدلالة (0.05≥ α) لاستراتيجيات الموارد البشرية والولاء التنظيمي على أداء العاملين, كما أظهرت أثراً دال معنوياً لاستراتيجيات الموارد البشرية على أداء العاملين من خلال الولاء التنظيمي(متغير وسيط) ,حيث إن الولاء التنظيمي قد نقل جزءاً من أثر استراتيجيات الموارد البشرية على أداء العاملين. الكلمات المفتاحية: استراتيجيات الموارد البشرية، الولاء التنظيمي، الأداء الوظيفي، قطاع غزة، فلسطين. Abstract This study aimed to investigate the effect of loyalty as a mediating variable in the relationship between human resources strategies and employee performance in Beith Hanoun Hospital. The population of the study consisted of (200) employees. A uestionnaire was designed for this purpose and was distributed using the stratified random sampling technique. The descriptive analytical method and the appropriate statistical tests were applied using SPSS. The study concluded that human resource strategies and loyalty significantly affected employee performance. In addition, loyalty partially mediated the relationship between human resource strategies and employee performance.

Latar Belakang. Tidur yang berkualitas adalah kebutuhan dasar manusia namun pada mahasiswa kebutuhan tidur akan terganggu karena tugas sebagai mahasiswa dan gaya hidup yang berubah. Apabila kualitas tidur tidak terpenuhi atau mengalami gangguan berpengaruh pada menurunnya kualitas hidup seseorang serta menurunnya fungsi kesehatan.Tujuan. untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan kualitas tidur pada mahasiswa Kampus A Universitas Muhammadiyah Prof. Dr. Hamka tahun 2020Metode. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross sectional dengan teknik pengambilan sampel proportional stratified random sampling. Populasi penelitian ialah seluruh mahasiswa Kampus A UHAMKA dengan sampel 117 mahasiswa. Data yang digunakan ialah data primer dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis data menggunakan uji chi-square.Hasil. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 69 orang (59%) responden yang memiliki kualitas tidur buruk. Terdapat hubungan penggunaan gawai (p=0,001), aktivitas fisik (p=0,001), dan stres (p=0,001) dengan kualitas tidur. Sedangkan tidak ada hubungan antara jenis kelamin (p= 0,313) dengan kualitas tidur.Kesimpulan. Kualitas tidur mahasiswa kampus A di Universitas Muhammadiyah Prof DR Hamka berkaitan dengan penggunaan gawai, aktifitas fisik serta stres. ABSTRACTBackground. Quality sleep is a basic human need, but in college students, sleep will be disrupted due to student duties and changing lifestyles. If the quality of sleep is not fulfilled or a disturbance, it will affect the decrease in a person's quality of life and decrease the health function.Objective to determine the factors related to sleep quality in Campus A students University Muhammadiyah Prof. Dr. Hamka in 2020.Method. This study used a cross-sectional design with a proportional stratified random sampling technique. The study population was students of Campus A UHAMKA with a sample of 117 students. The data used are primary data using a questionnaire. Data analysis used the chi-square test. Results. The results showed that there were 69 people (59%) of respondents who had poor sleep quality. There is a relationship between the use of gadgets (p=0.001), physical activity (p=0.001), and stress (p=0.001) with sleep quality. Meanwhile, there was no relationship between gender (p= 0.313) and sleep quality.Conclusion. The sleep quality of campus A students at the University of Muhammadiyah Prof DR Hamka is related to the use of gadgets, physical activity and stress.

This study aims to determine the effect of the quality of human resources, the location of distribution centers and logistics costs in the effective delivery of goods from distribution centers to book stores.  This survey respondents amounted to 78 employees in Scholastic Distribution Center and a few head or store manager Scholastic. The sampling technique using Simple Random Sampling and analysis techniques using path analysis (path analysis) with SPSS. The results showed the quality of human resources, the location of distribution centers and logistics costs directly affect the good’s  delivery effectivenes.

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have an important role in the economy of a nation. The aim of research was to know the factors that can increase and effect on increasing of the competitiveness of MSMEs. To achieve this goal, a study was conducted on MSMEs in Regency and Serang City through a population of 26,909. Survey method was used to achieve this goal, while the sampling technique was simple random sampling. Based on this technique, a total sample size of 100 MSMEs was obtained, while the analysis in achieving the objectives used path analysis. The results showed that the innovation variables and the quality of human resources had an effect on the competitiveness of MSMEs. The variable which is significant and affects the competitiveness of MSMEs is the variable of human resources. Theoretically, human resources have a more important role in increasing the competitiveness of MSMEs compared to innovation

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh dimensi eksternal persepsi yang meliputi: peralatan untuk pelayanan, warna dari obyek-obyek pelayanan, keunikan atau kekontrasan stimulus, gaya individu dalam menarik perhatian, dan motion atau gerakan pelayanan baik secara parsial maupun simultan terhadap mutu layanan di FK Universitas Lampung. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian korelasional teknik kuesioner yang diberikan kepada 91 sampel dari populasi sebanyak 771 mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Lampung. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik proportional stratified random sampling sebanyak 10% untuk masing-masing angkatan. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode statistik inverensial dengan regresi linier. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara peralatan untuk pelayanan, warna dari obyek-obyek pelayanan, keunikan atau kekontrasan stimulus, gaya individu dalam menarik perhatian, dan motion atau gerakan pelayanan baik secara parsial maupun simultan terhadap mutu layanan di Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Lampung.Abstract:The purpose of this study is to decide the effect of external dimensions of perception which include: service equipment, the color of service objects, uniqueness or contrast of stimulus, personal style of attracting attention, and motion or service movements both partially and simultaneously to service quality at the FK, University of Lampung. This type of research is a correlation research technique questionnaire given to 91 samples from a population of 771 students of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Lampung. Sampling uses a proportional stratified random sampling technique of 10% for each class. Data were analyzed using inferential statistical methods with linear regression. The results showed that there was a significant influence between the equipment for service, the colour of service objects, the uniqueness or contrast of stimulus, the personal style of attracting attention, and the motion or movement of service both partially and simultaneously to the quality of service in FK Lampung University.

Business development at this time is very tight, this is caused by a number of actors emerging business. To be successful in the business world, companies must pay attention to everything relating to human resources. factors that affect a person's performance is a factor in the organization's ability and motivation factors. In addition, organizational commitment can also support the performance of employees in work. PT Orela Shipyard is a company engaged in the field of shipbuilding projects. PT Orela Shipyard employee population by 51 employees. This study uses the technique of probabilty sampling stratified random sampling as a sampling technique. So there are 45 employees in the sample. The results of this study indicate that the ability to significantly influence employee performance, motivation significant effect on employee performance, and organizational commitment have a significant effect on employee performance. Simultaneously, the ability, motivation and organizational commitment have a significant effect on employee performance.

<p><em>This study aims to determine the quality of academic service on student satisfaction. The object of this research at the Faculty of Medicine, Diponegoro University. The independent variables in this study are tangibles, responsiveness, reliability, empathy and assurance. The dependent variable in this study is student satisfaction at the Faculty of Medicine at Diponegoro University.</em></p><p><em>The population in this research is 4522 active students with a sample of 97 students. The method used in this research is a probability sampling method with proportional stratified random sampling technique. This research uses Multiple Linear Regression Analysis tool.</em></p><p><em>The results showed that the tangibles, responsiveness, reliability and empathy partially has a positive and significant effect on student satisfaction. Assurance variable doesn’t have effect on student satisfaction at the Faculty of Medicine, University Diponegoro.</em></p>

Self-stigma experienced by people who experience schizophrenia has influence on reduced self-esteem, on powerlessness, the weakening of hope, and a motivation towards recovery. The aim of this study is to explain the efforts of people suffering schizophrenia to manage their self-stigma through self-control, using a case study approach. Based on the purposive sampling technique, five people with schizophrenia were selected as the cases to be studied. Data collection techniques utilized in-depth interviews, observation, and documentary studies. The analysis of the study data employed the stages of data reduction, data display, and data verification. Improvement in study quality employed the triangulation of data sources by checking the data to determine its consistency. The results of this study indicate that people with schizophrenia who have the ability to self-control can overcome self-stigma through changes in the manner of viewing themselves, self-training through activities, having endurance, having an honest approach, being able to explain schizophrenia from a positive viewpoint, having initiative, and having a positive attitude and the courage to face challenges.
