Background: One area with high rates of positive sputum in West Muna district, high TB patients is in the Wuna Community Health Center work area. Positive smear pulmonary TB sufferers in 2015 recorded 25 positive cases, in 2016 as many as 41 positive cases, whereas in 2017 there was an increase from the previous year which was 45 positive cases. Objective: To find out the distribution of cases tuberculosis with positive sputum from 2015 to 2017, then to be related to population density. Methods: This type of research is observational with spatio temporal modeling, based on geographic information systems. Results: There has been a shift in the pattern of positive pulmonary tuberculosis pulmonary TB sufferers from 2015 to 2017. TB cases in Maperaha, Nihi, Bungkolo villages have been concentrated in the same area for three years, as well as Waulai Village during 2016 and 2017. In Wuna Village. In 2015 and 2016 cases of tuberculosis were still concentrated around the same area, but differed in 2017, the concentration of cases shifted to the west. Conclusion: Cases of tuberculosis with positive sputum in the working area of Wuna Health Center from 2015-2017 have increased.

ABSTRACT: THE CORRELATION OF KNOWLEDGE AND FAMILY SUPPORT WITH SPUTUM EXAMINATION IN PATIENTS WITH SUSPECTED TB IN THE WORK AREA OF BRABASAN HEALTH CENTER IN MESUJI  Introduction: Achievement of positive smear pulmonary TB findings in Lampung Province, which is 38%, has not reached the MSS target. Brabasan health center as many as 28 cases. As for the case of death at the Brabasan Community Health Center during 2017, there were 5 patients with pulmonary TB who died. the purpose knowing the relationship of knowledge and family support with sputum examination in patients with suspected TB in the work area of Brabasan Health Center in Mesuji Regency in 2020Method: This type of research is quantitative, analytical survey research design with cross sectional approach. The population was all patients with suspected TB as many as 332 respondents, a sample of 182 respondents was taken by proportional random sampling. Univariate (frequency distribution) and bivariate data analysis used the chi square test.Results:. It is known that of 182 respondents, most did not conduct an examination, namely 110 (60.4%) respondents, 112 knowledge (61.5%) respondents were poor, and negative family support was 94 (51.6%) respondent. There is a knowledge relation (P-Value 0,000; OR 17,625). and family support (P-Value 0, 020; OR 2,142) with sputum examination in suspected TB patients in the Brabasan Community Health Center in Mesuji Regency in 2020Conclusion: There is a relationship between knowledge and family support with sputum examination in suspected TB patients in the Brabasan Community Health Center in Mesuji Regency in 2020. Sedangkan untuk kasus kematian di Puskesmas brabasan  selama tahun 2017 terdapat 5 orang pasien TB Paru yang meninggal. Tujuan penelitian diketahui hubungan pengetahuan dan dukungan keluarga dengan pemeriksaan dahak pada penderita suspek TBC di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Brabasan Kabupaten Mesuji tahun 2020.Metode: Jenis penelitian kuantitatif, rancangan penelitian survey analitik pendekatan cross sectional. Tuberculosis is the old disease that is now one of the biggest in the health sector. The factor of related to the incedence of tuberculosis are ventilation, type of floor, lighting, humidity. The purpose of this study is to find out the relationship between the physical condition of the house and the incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis in the Sigompul Community Health Center Work area Kecamatan Lintongnihuta Kabupaten Humbang Hasundutan. The method research uses Analitycal Observational design with Cross sectional approach. The subject of this study were respondent of Pulmonary Tuberculosis from October to January 2019 with a population of 85 peoples. The sample selection with sistematic random sampling produce of sample 40 peoples. The data collection methods use observation sheets and data analysis using the chi- square test. The results of the study indicate that there is a relationship between ventilatio (p=0,006), type of floor (p=0,039), lighting(p=0,034) and humidity (p=0,013) with the incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis. For the community, it is expected to create a safe home environment for family, celan and healthy lifestyle. For Sigompul Health Center is expected to implement health program that have been implemented by the goverment in recuding the incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis.

Introduction: The low number of deliveries assisted by midwives or health workers is an indicator of the low utilization of health facilities by mothers in labor. This study analyzes the factors related to the utilization of childbirth in health facilities in the Sungai Lokan Community Health Center Work Area, Tanjung Jabung Timur Regency. Materials and Methods: This research is an analytic observational using a cross-sectional approach involving 74 participants. The research was conducted from January to July 2019 in the Sungai Lokan Health Center Work Area, Tanjung Jabung Timur Regency. Results: The results showed that the factor of the utilization of childbirth in health facilities was related to family culture (p = 0.0001) and family support (p = 0.003), while the service access factor was not related (p = 0.364). Conclusion: The role of health workers in socializing the importance of utilizing health facilities as a place of delivery is significant in reducing maternal mortality Keywords: Health Facilities; Family Culture; Family Support; Access To Services

Tuberculosis is a health problem, both in terms of mortality or mortality, and the incidence rate of disease or morbidity. This infectious disease is mostly caused by the germ mycobacterium tuberculosis. The purpose of this study is to find out the influence of health belief models and motivation with the prevention of pulmonary tuberculosis transmission. The design used in the study is correlational analytics with a cross sectional method approach. While the sample in this study which is Some people with pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) in Gurah Health Center with BTA (+) as many as 22 respondents. The research instrument used is a questionnaire. Spearman Rhodengan test analysis of the level of significanceα=0.05, so as to be able to answer the purpose of the study. Based on Spearman Rho correlation statistical test, obtained p 0.001 result for health belief model and p 0.021, which means that the values p 0.001 and 0.021 < 0.05. From the results obtained that H1 received which means there is an influence of health belief model and motivation with the prevention of pulmonary tuberculosis transmission in Gurah Health Center Kediri Year 2020. It was concluded that the prevention of transmission of Pulmonary TB disease can be improved reciprocal relationship between health workers, families and sufferers with self-awareness of the adverse effects of Pulmonary TB disease.

A B S T R A C TIntroduction Tuberculosis is an infectious disease caused by bacteria in the form ofrods (bacilli) known as Mycobacterium tuberculosis. This disease is included as achronic infectious disease. The causes of the increase in TB cases each year are stillvarious. One of them is smoking behavior. A person who smokes will have twice therisk of contracting TB. This study aims to determine the relationship between smokingbehavior and the incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis in the work area of the MedanSunggal Puskesmas in 2019. Methods This study is an analytical study with a crosssectional design. The population of this study were patients with pulmonary TB in thework area of the Medan Sunggal Public Health Center in 2019. The sample size usedwas 104 people who had met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. In the second study,the data collection tool was through the Puskesmas medical records. Data analysis wasperformed using the statistical test is chi square. Results the result showed that therewas a relationship between smoking behavior and the incidence of pulmonarytuberculosis in Medan Sunggal Public Health Center with an OR (95% CI) value of105,125 (13,280-832,161), which means that respondents who smoke will have105,125 times the risk of suffering from pulmonary tuberculosis compared to non-smoking respondents. From the results of 95% CI, it can be seen that the lower limitand upper limit values (CI values) not include 1.00, so the results of the study arestatistically significant at the value of α = 0.001. Conclusion. Smoking behavior hasan insignificant relationship with the incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis at MedanSunggal Puskesmas in 2019. It is recommended that the primary care should providesupport and sources of information about smoking habits, especially for patients whohave been diagnosed with pulmonary TB.

Background: Pulmonary  Tuberculosis (TB) disease is still the main cause of death among the poor with low knowledge. Knowledge and self efficacy are the keys to the successful management of pulmonary TB. Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of self management education (SME) by emphasizing the five pillars of TB management on knowledge and self efficacy of pulmonary TB clients in the Timor tribal community in Kupang, Indonesia. Methods: This quasi experimental study was conducted on 30 primary pulmonary tuberculosis patients who undergoing treatment for 6 months. The research was conducted from January to October 2020 in the working area of the Naibonat Community Health Center, Kupang Regency. Data were collected using a questionnaire on demographic data, knowledge and self efficacy which had been tested for validity and reliability.. Data were analyzed by the Paired T-test with SPSS 21.  Results: The mean score of pre test knowledge and self efficacy of clients with pulmonary TB, respectively, 5.23 ± 1.04 and 4.77 ± 1.07 increased significantly to 6, 33 ± 1.18, and 7.13 ± 0.94 on the post test (P <0.001). Conclusion and recommendation: giving SME by emphasizing the five pillars of pulmonary TB management increases the knowledge and self-efficacy of pulmonary TB clients in the Timor tribal community. The recommendation of this study is that SME interventions can be used as one of the nursing interventions in the public health center in community empowerment based pulmonary TB management

Latar belakang: Tuberkulosis paru adalah penyakit menular yang disebabkan oleh bakteri mycobacterium tuberculosis masih menjadi masalah kesehatan. Tingginya angka kejadian TB paru dapat dikarenakan adanya faktor tingkat pengetahuan yang rendah, perilaku kesehatan yang buruk dan lingkungan rumah seperti ventilasi, pencahayaan, kelembaban, kepadatan hunianyang tidakmemenuhi syarat. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui variabel paling dominan berhubungan dengan transmisi kejadian TB paru di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Bandarharjo Kota Semarang.Metode: Desain penelitian observasional dengan pendekatan case control. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 40 kasus dan 40 kontrol. Kasus merupakan penderita TB paru di Puskesmas Bandarharjo yang didiagnosis secara klinis dan laboratorik BTA positif dan tercatat dalam medical record dari bulan Agustus 2016 sampai Agustus 2017,kontrol merupakan tetangga kasus yang tidak terdiagnosis TB paru BTA positif dan anggota keluarga tidak menderita TB paru BTA positif. Teknik sampling menggunakan proporsional random sampling. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan uji univariat menggunakan distribusi frekuensi, uji bivariat menggunakan Chi Square, uji Multivariat menggunakan Regresi logistik ganda. Hasil : Hasil uji bivariat variabel lingkungan yang terdiri dari luas ventilasi (p=0,000); kepadatan hunian (p=0,000); kelembaban (p=0,001); pencahayaan (p=0,001); suhu (p=0,001), sedang hasil variabel pengetahuan (p=0,002) dan perilaku (p=0,005). Hasil analisis multivariat variabel pengetahuan (OR=3,776); kepadatan hunian (OR=4,476); kelembaban (OR=4,030); pencahayaan (OR=3,635); suhu (OR=3,064); pengetahuan (OR=6,374); perilaku (OR=3,525).Simpulan: Lingkungan rumah, pengetahuan dan perilaku berhubungan dengan kejadian TB paru di wilayah kerja puskesmas Bandarharjo Semarang dan faktor yang paling dominan berhubungan adalah pengetahuan. ABSTRACTTitle: Relationship Knowledge, Behavior and Household Environmentwith the Transmission Insidence Pulmonary Tuberculosis in the Work Area of Bandarharjo Health Center SemarangBackground: Pulmonary tuberculosis, an infectious disease caused by the bacterium Mycobacterium tuberculosis remains a health problem. The purpose of this study was to identify the most dominant factor associated with the transmission pulmonary TB in the Bandarharjo Health Center in Semarang.Methods: The research was an observational one with a case control study. The case and the control of this research were both using 40 respondents. The case was patients clinically diagnosed with pulmonary TB and has a laboratory BTA+ and documented in the medical record from August 2016 to August 2017. The control was a neighbor of cases with no BTA+ (acid resistant bacilli) pulmonary TB and history of family no BTA+ of pulmonary TB. The proportional random sampling was applied. The collected data were analyzed using univariate test of frequency distribution, bivariateof Chi Square, multivariate oflogistic regression.Results: Bivariate test of environmental variables consisting of ventilation area (p = 0.000); occupancy density (p = 0.000); humidity (p = 0.001); lighting (p = 0.001); temperature (p = 0.001), while the results of the knowledge variable (p = 0.002) and behavior (p = 0.005). The multivariate analysis showed variable of knowledge (OR = 3.776); residential density (OR = 4.476); humidity (OR = 4.030); lighting (OR= 3.635); temperature (OR = 3.064); knowledge (OR = 6.374); behavior (OR = 3.525).Conclusion: The household environment, knowledge and behavior were related to the transmission incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis in the working area of Bandarharjo health center and the most dominant factor was knowledge.

Introduction: Semarang City has the highest number of HIV / AIDS cases in Central Java. Several attempts to control HIV / AIDS cases, such as the organization for AIDS that is named after AIDS Care Community (ACC) in every village scope. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of the ACC program in Poncol Community Health Center.Methods: This is a descriptive research, uses qualitative methods using in-depth interview for data collection techniques. There are 9 informants who are selected by using purposive sampling method. Data is analyzed using descriptive method. The process of data analysis begins with collecting data, and then reducing the data that has been generated. After that, the data are presented and concluded.Results: The results show that the implementation of ACC program in the work area of Poncol Community Health Center is assisted by Poncol Puskesmas. There is 1 ACC out of 9 ACC that is actively implementing the ACC program while the others are not running well. It is found that low capacity of ACC members, lack of funds, low of support from the local government (village), low community support, inadequate facilities and infrastructure that affect the implementation of ACC programs. Therefore, the output is not achieved optimally.Conclusions: The implementation of the of the ACC program in Poncol Community Health Center work area has not been running optimally. Support from all parties is needed, including from the members of the ACC, local government, AIDS commission, and the community in order to achieve the ACC goals.
