A  relationship    called  sisterhood   has  become  an  ordinary   thing  in society.  The  sisterhood   docs  not only  happen  to fellow  women  without  blood  tics but  also  occur   between   relationships    across   generations    of  which   parents   and children  live.  To examine  the occurrence   of sisterhood  relationships   by parents  and children,  the writer  decided  to do a study  on a novel  entitled   Belle Teal by Ann M. Martin.  Using  qualitative  method,  the data  are analysed  descriptively.   By applying feminist   literary  criticism   the writer  discusses   several  problem   statements   which include   the  sisterhood   that  occurs  across   generations   and  how  sisterhood   can  be exposed  to cross-generational    relationships.   From  the analysis,   it can  be concludedthat  sisterhood   can  occur  across-generation.    Mutual   caring,  intimacy   and  shared activity   can  enhance   and  expose   sisterhood   relationship   among   the  perpetrators. Sisterhood   also  has a positive   impact  that  can  make  a person  have  a more  godly thought  than before.

This research is descriptive qualitative research using the feminist literary criticism approach. The subject of this research are three novels by Okky Madasari which are titled: 1) Maryam, 2) 86, and 3) Entrok. The technique of data collecting used in this research is to study the library read the note, conducted by reading carefully and repeated thoroughly and classifying the data obtained based on women’s image. Analyzing data in this research use the descriptive qualitative method. The research finding in the form of physical women’s image, the image of women’s psychic and the role of women consisting of domestic and public areas. Domestic roles include as a child, wife, and mother. The role of women in the public domain consists of the educator, economic, and social movement sectors.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan dan mengidentifikasi citra perempuan pada kumpulan puisi Milk and Honey karya Rupi Kaur. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan menggunakan kritik sastra feminisme. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik simak catat. Sedangkan tahapan penelitian data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik analisis data. Citra perempuan diklasifikasikan menjadi tiga aspek, yaitu fisik, psikis, dan sosial. Hasil penelitian dan pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa citra perempuan tidak hanya memberikan gambaran mengenai tingkah laku, mental, dan sosial perempuan, tetapi juga memperlihatkan gambaran mengenai berbagai permasalahan yang dihadapi perempuan di dalam masyarakat patriarki. The purpose of this study was to describe and identify the image of women in the collection of poetry Milk and Honey by Rupi Kaur. The research method used is a qualitative method using feminist literary criticism. The data collection technique was carried out using the note-taking technique. While the data research stages are carried out using data analysis techniques. The image of women is classified into three aspects, namely physical, psychological, and social. The results of the research and discussion show that the image of women not only provides an overview of women's behavior, mental and social, but also shows an overview of the various problems faced by women in a patriarchal society.

This study aims to describe the image of women in Herry Santoso's novel: Cerita Tentang Rani in the perspective of feminist literary criticism. The method applied in the research is a qualitative one. The purpose of the qualitative method leads the writer being able to get to know the in-depth history of the research environment by applying descriptive research types. Feminist criticism theory of Rosemarie Putnam Tong and gender theory of Judith P. Butler were applied in this research. The results of this study prove that the image of the main character, Maharani, is a strong and tough woman. The images of the woman cover 1) the image of women in her relation with Allah Swt (God); 2) the image of women in her relation with herself; and 3) the image of women in her relationship with others. Kulon Progo Regency is one of the districts that has many innovations, one of which is community empowerment in collaboration with a modern shop abbreviated as the shop name owned by the people (tomira). This research was motivated by the achievements of the Kulon Progo district government in carrying out development and innovation in the development of the Kulon Progo region by fully involving the Kulon Progo district community through community empowerment. This initiative was taken by the government of Kulon Progo Regency to improve community empowerment and protect the people of Kulon Progo Regency from various economic threats. Considering that in the past few years many modern shops have mushroomed in each district/city, so this is what makes Kulon Progo Regency move quickly to empower the community by collaborating between MSMEs or cooperative with modern shops. This study uses a qualitative method which case study approach. With the empowerment that has been done, the original products of Kulon Progo Regency or local products can be traded in modern stores so that local products in Kulon Progo Regency can compete with national products in these modern stores. The existence of such cooperation will indirectly improve the image of Kulon Progo Regency and lift the original products of Kulon Progo Regency. The lifting of the original products of Kulon Progo Regency will have a positive impact on the community, where indirectly the economy of the community will increase so that there will be prosperity for the community. Kabupaten Kulon Progo adalah salah satu kabupaten yang memiliki banyak inovasi, salah satunya adalah pemberdayaan masyarakat bekerja sama dengan toko modern disingkat nama toko yang dimiliki oleh masyarakat (tomira). Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pencapaian pemerintah kabupaten Kulon Progo dalam melakukan pengembangan dan inovasi dalam pengembangan wilayah Kulon Progo dengan melibatkan sepenuhnya masyarakat kabupaten Kulon Progo melalui pemberdayaan masyarakat. Inisiatif ini diambil oleh pemerintah Kabupaten Kulon Progo untuk meningkatkan pemberdayaan masyarakat dan melindungi masyarakat Kabupaten Kulon Progo dari berbagai ancaman ekonomi. Menimbang bahwa dalam beberapa tahun terakhir banyak toko-toko modern telah menjamur di setiap kabupaten/kota, jadi inilah yang membuat Kabupaten Kulon Progo bergerak cepat untuk memberdayakan masyarakat dengan berkolaborasi antara UMKM atau bekerjasama dengan toko-toko modern. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, dengan metode yang digunakan adalah dokumentasi. Dengan pemberdayaan yang telah dilakukan, produk asli Kabupaten Kulon Progo atau produk lokal dapat diperdagangkan di toko modern sehingga produk lokal di Kabupaten Kulon Progo dapat bersaing dengan produk nasional di toko modern ini. Adanya kerjasama tersebut secara tidak langsung akan meningkatkan citra Kabupaten Kulon Progo dan mengangkat produk asli Kabupaten Kulon Progo. Pencabutan produk asli Kabupaten Kulon Progo akan berdampak positif bagi masyarakat, di mana secara tidak langsung perekonomian masyarakat akan meningkat sehingga akan ada kesejahteraan bagi masyarakat.

AbstractOver the last decades, Benefit Corporations arouse as a new corporate structure, alternative to traditional ones and pointing to offer a new approach to the management of business and sustainability issues. These companies' activities are statutory aimed at bridging for-profit and no-profit activities; thus, they intentionally and statutory pursue economic purposes together with social and environmental ones, to create a positive impact on economy, society and environment. Even though, Italian and other national laws set some specific disclosure duties for Benefit Corporations, especially in terms of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) issues, the literature still calls for further research on the topic. Therefore, this paper is aimed at contributing to bridge this gap, investigating the way Italian Benefit Corporations approach ESG disclosure. To this end, an exploratory analysis has been conducted, implementing a qualitative method, based on a multiple case study strategy. Even though the descriptive nature of the study, the achieved findings pointed out that the Benefit Corporation structure not necessarily implies a better approach to ESG.

This paper is an attempt to portray the plight of Mariam that she undergoes due to her illegitimate social status. The study focuses on the critical societal attitude towards the illegitimate unfortunate women. Mariam begins her life with a “harami” status; continues her struggle for personal identity, suffer and endures as a battered woman and leave this world as a woman of consequences by digging herself out of the lower social status that society attached to her. The study analyzes Mariam’s endurance, struggles and resistance in her strenuous journey to attain legitimate ending. The researcher used feminist literary criticism to interpret the text as a research methodology and adopted close textual analysis of the text by Khaled Hosseini, A Thousand Splendid Suns.

Feminists feel that in literary criticism not enough consideration is given to feminism as an ideology in the production of texts. According to them, existing literary criticism is strongly man-centred. This is especially true of the practice of South African literary criticism. Although feminism does not have at its disposal a formulated feminist literary criticism, a great deal of research has been done in this direction abroad. This is especially the case in Europe and America. Feminist literary critics apply themselves to the representation of the woman in works by male authors and an analysis of feminine experience in the production of texts by women. This article is an exploration of the Anglo-American and French approaches in feminist literary criticism. An attempt is made to formulate the aims of a possible South African feminist literary criticism in order that not only the general norms, but also the feminist codes in the production of a text, speak towards the final interpretation of a work.

This study aims to determine the impact of business planning for the development of MSMEs. The research method uses is a qualitative method with a descriptive and explorative descriptive approach. From the results of the research conducted, the results show that proper business planning and the application of a good marketing strategy have a positive impact on the sustainability of MSME activities. In addition, the quality of production that has a competitive advantage is also one of the driving factors. For the development of MSMEs, there are several obstacles faced, especially related to capital and guidance from the local government. With the development of MSMEs, it is expected to improve people's welfare, including helping the government in reducing unemployment.
