AbstractThe research is aimed to investigate whether there is an effect of the Boggle game on vocabulary mastery of seventh-grade students at MTs. Nurul Hikmah. The design used was quasi-experimental method with Nonequivalent control group design. The subject of population in this research is seventh-grade students of MTs Nurul Hikmah. The sample of this research were 60 students, who were classified into 30 students of experimental class and 30 students of controlled class. The technique of collecting data with used the research instrument was a test consisting of a pre-test and post-test. The results of thisresearch stated that the used of Boggle games in learning vocabulary affected students' vocabulary mastery. This can be seen from the t-test results of pre-test and post-test at a significance level of 5% (0.05) alpha and degrees of freedom of 2.00, where the t-count of pre-test is higher than the t-table (2.03 > 2.00) with the average pre-test score of the experimental class was higher than the average pre-test score of the control class (49.47 > 42.60) and the t-count of post-test is higher than the t-table (5.75> 2.00) with the average post-test score of the experimental class was higher than the average pre-test score of the control class (83.50 > 73.10). It can be concluded that there is significant effect of Boggle game on the seventh grade students’ vocabulary mastery at MTs. Nurul Hikmah. It means that the Boggle game is effective in learning vocabulary mastery for the seventh-grade students of MTs Nurul Hikmah. By using the Boggle game, the teaching and learning process becomes more interesting. Key words: Boggle Game, Vocabulary Mastery.

The objective of this study is to find out the effect of using mobile access (Audio Visual Easy Learn English) on students’ vocabulary achievement at SMPN 11 Kendari. Mobile  Access  (Audio  visual  easy  learn  English)  as  a media in learning teaching process. This research used quasi experimental design, the population is all seventh- grade students, and the sample is class VII1 as the experimental group and VII2as control group. The experimental group consisted of 30 students and control group consisted of 21 students. The research instrument consisted of 44 questions of vocabulary test. To collect the data, the researcher gave pre-test, taught by using Mobile Access  (Audio  Visual  Easy  Learn  English),  and  giving post-test. Mean score of post-tests (79.63) in experimental class is higher than pre-test score (59.66). While, in control class also has improvement but not too significant. It can be seen on post-test score (64.80) is higher than pre-test score (55.19). Based on the calculation of T-test, it shows that tcount = 3.775, while t-table =2.010 at level of = 0.05 with DF = 49. It means that tcount is higher than table, Therefore H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. This can be concluded that  there  was a  significant  effect  of  using a significant effect using Mobile Access (Audio Visual Easy Learn English) on students’ vocabulary achievement at the seventh-grade students of SMPN 11 Kendari. Keywords: MA, Mobile Access, Audio Visual Easy Learn English, vocabulary achievement

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan three corner drill terhadap kelincahan dan power otot tungkai. Jenis penelitian adalah quasi experimental dengan rancangan the non-randomized pretest-posttest control group design. Subjek penelitian yang digunakan siswa putra peserta ektrakurikuler sepak bola SMPN 2 Pekutatan. Data post-test kelincahan dan power otot tungkai pada kelompok perlakuan dan kelompok kontrol dianalisis dengan uji-t independent pada taraf signifikansi (α) 0,05 dengan bantuan program SPSS 16.0. Berdasarkan hasil uji-t independent didapatkan hasil : (1) untuk variabel kelincahan, hasil perbandingan kelompok perlakuan dan kontrol didapatkan nilai thitung = -2,948 , dengan nilai signifikansi 0,009, (2) untuk variabel power, hasil perbandingan kelompok perlakuan dan kontrol didapatkan nilai thitung = 3,176, dengan nilai signifikansi 0,005. Nilai signifikansi hitung lebih kecil dari nilai α (Sig < 0,05), dengan demikian hipotesis penelitian “pelatihan three corner drill berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan kelincahan dan power otot tungkai pada siswa putra peserta ektrakurikuler sepak bola SMPN 2 Pekutatan” diterima. Dari hasil analisis data dan pembahasan disimpulkan bahwa : (1) Pelatihan three corner drill berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan kelincahan pada siswa putra peserta ektrakurikuler sepak bola SMP Negeri 2 Pekutatan (2) Pelatihan three corner drill berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan power otot tungkai pada siswa putra peserta ektrakurikuler sepak bola SMP Negeri 2 Pekutatan. Kata Kunci : kelincahan, daya ledak, three corner drill The purpose of this research was to find out the effect of three corner drill training toward the increased agility and power muscle of legs. The type of research was a quasi-experimental and the design of research was the non-randomized pretest-posttest control group design. The subjects were man’s student football extracurricular participants of SMPN 2 Pekutatan. Agility and muscle power of legs posttest to the treatment group and the control group were analyzed by independent t-test at significance 0,05 with SPSS 16.0. Based on independent t-test results were showed : (1) to the agility variable, the comparison of the treatment and the control group values obtained t = -2,948, with a significance value of 0,009, (2) to muscle power of legs variable, the comparison of the treatment and the control group values obtained t = 3,176, with a significance value of 0,005. Calculated significance value smaller than the value of 0,05 (Sig < 0.05), thus the research hypothesis "three corner drill training affect the increased agility and muscle power of legs in football extracurricular participants of SMPN 2 Pekutatan " was received. From the analyzed and discussion were concluded that : (1) three corner drill training effect the increased agility in football extracurricular participants of SMPN 2 Pekutatan, (2) three corner drill training effect the increased muscle power of legs in football extracurricular participants of SMPN 2 Pekutatan. keyword : Agility, power, three corner drill

One of the factors that impact the unsuccessfulness of studying PPKn in schools is the use of a learning model that is still less innovative. Teachers tend to use the old method that is teaching the materials using lectures, questions and answers, then giving the student assignments. As a result, students feel bored, passive, less interested in learning, which decrease students’ learning outcomes. Group Investigation can be used as an alternative that will encourage students to be more active in learning with groups. This study aims to determine the effect of Group Investigation on students’ learning outcomes in studying PPKn in the fifth grade student at SDN 2 Kalijaga academic year 2020/2021. This research is experimental research with Quasi Experimental Design type Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Population of this research was the fifth grade students of SDN 2 Kalijaga in academic year 2020/2021 consisting of two classes. The total number of the population was 45 people, all of them were chosen as the sample, where V/A as the experimental class and V/B as the control class. The researcher conducted observation and test to collect the required data. The result from the observation of applying Group Investigation in teaching indicate "fantastic" category with an percentage of 93.18% at the first meeting and 95.45% at the second meeting. The results showed that the score of student learning outcomes after being given treatment using Group Investigation was higher than before treatment. This is indicated by their pre-test score that is 50. After being given treatment their score increased become 86.81 in the post-test. Based on the results of hypothesis testing of independent samples t test using SPSS 16.0 showed that the value of tcount equal to (2.742 and 2.727) > ttable (0.294) for students’ achievement and significance level signify (Sig. 2-tailed) 0.009 < 0.05. So that, it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. It means that there is a positive effect of Group Investigation on the students’ learning outcomes in studying PPKn at grade V students of SDN 2 Kalijaga in the academic year 2020/2021.

ABSTRACTThis study aimed at figuring out the influence of implementing Jeopardy game in learning remedial towards students’ activities and learning outcomes in Social Science Subject for 5th grade of Elementary School. The subject of this research was the students of 5th grade in Elementary School Mamajang II, second semester and academic year of 2015-2016, who took remedy. This study belonged to experimental research. The research design used was quasi-experimental design which one of its type, nonequivalent control group design, was applied. In case of giving treatment, the experimental class implemented Jeopardy game; on contrary, the lecturing method was used in control class. The data of students’ learning activities was obtained through observation before treatment section in both experimental and control class. Meanwhile, the learning outcomes were gained through pre-test and post-test in those two classes. The result of research showed that the students’ activities score before treatment was 57,11 in average for experimental class and 59,38 for control class. Moreover, the averages of students’ activities score when treatment section were 83,33 for experimental class and 71,46 for control class. Therefore, there were the differences score of students’ activities between experimental and control class as 11,87. It can be concluded that there was significantincreaseof student activities as 26,22 to the experimental class. On the other hand, the increases of students’ activities were only 12,08 in control class. In terms of students’ learning outcomes, it was obtained pre-test score in control class; 45,00 in average and the average post-test score was 70,63. Contrastively, the learning outcomes for experimental class in pre-test were 46,25 in average and the post-test score in average was 86,56. According to the data, there was significant increase of learning outcomes as 40,31 to the experimental class and 25,63 to the control class. The research result was analyzed by using Independent Samples T Test with SPSS for Windows version 21 as program assistance that showed the significant increase of implementing game Jeopardy towards students’ learning activities and outcomes to the experimental class. Sedangkan, hasil belajar diperoleh melalui pretest dan posttest pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata aktivitas siswa sebelum perlakuan pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 57,11 dan kelas kontrol sebesar 59,38. Sedangkan, rata-rata aktivitas siswa saat perlakuan pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 83,33 dan kelas kontrol sebesar 71,46. Sehingga, selisih antara kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol sebesar 11,87. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan aktivitas belajar yang signifikan 26,22 pada kelas eksperimen. Sedangkan, pada kelas kontrol hanya sebesar 12,08. Untuk hasil belajar siswa diperoleh nilai pretest pada kelompok kontrol, yakni rata-rata nilai sebesar 45,00 dan pada posttest rata-rata nilai sebesar 70,63. Sedangkan hasil belajar kelas eksperimen pada saat pretest dengan rata-rata nilai sebesar 46,25 dan pada posttest rata-rata nilai sebesar 86,56. Berdasarkan data tersebut, terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar yang signifikan 40,31 pada kelas eksperimen. Sedangkan, pada kelas kontrol hanya sebesar 25,63. Hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji Independent Samples T Test berbantuan program SPSS for Windows versi 21 yang menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan penerapan game Jeopardy terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis terbukti bahwa penerapan game Jeopardy dalam pembelajaran remedial berpengaruh terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V SD.  Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran remedial, game Jeopardy, aktivitas, hasil belajar.

Introduction: Bullying is still a problem and continues to increase especially in school-aged children. If cases of bullying do not get any immediate treatment, it will cause various problems from psychological, psychosomatic, social, academic issues, and even present a risk of suicide. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of bullying curriculum for prevention and management of bullying in school-aged children. Methods: The study used a quantitative study method with a quasi-experimental of pre and post-test without control group design. The population of this study was students of grade-five in one of primary school in Jakarta. The samples of this study used total sampling consisting of 30 respondents. The instrument of this study used the instrument of bullying that was modified by the researchers and has passed the validity and reliability test. The analysis of this study used McNemar test. Results: The result of this study shows that there were bullying incidents occurred for as much as 100% before the intervention and as much as 60% after the intervention. The result of bivariate test of this study shows the value of p=0.000. Conclusions: The implementation of curriculum of bullying is effective for prevention and management of bullying in school-aged children.

This research aims to find out (1) the influence of using the Hypnoteaching method in improving students’ motivation, (2) the influence of using the Hypnoteaching method towards students’ reading achievement and (3) the influence of using the Hypnoteaching method in enhancing students’ motivation and reading achievement. This is quasi-experimental research with the pre-test and post-test control group design. This research was conducted at class XI students in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Unggul Tenggarong in the period of 2015/2016. The data were collected using tests and non-test. The data were analyzed by using the Multivariate Analyses of Variance (MANOVA) at the significance level of 95 % (p=0.05). The results of this research are as follows. (1) There is an influence of students’ learning motivation after teaching by using the Hypnoteaching method. There is a significant difference in students’ reading achievement after teaching by using the Hypnoteaching method. The Hypnoteaching method affects students’ achievement in reading and student’s learning motivation after getting treatment, the data of Wilks’Lambda have a significance (F-value = 6.963) and sig = 0.02< 0.

The aim of this study is to determine the learning outcomes of students in the class which is treatedwith the cooperative learning model Jigsaw whether it is better than the untreated class on chemicalequilibrium topic. This study is a quasi-experimental research design with Non Randomized Pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study is 245 students of class XI MIA withacademic year 2014/2015, from 8 classes. The sample in this study class XI MIA 5 (n = 32) as anexperimental class while class XI MIA 6 (n = 32) as a control class. The analysis of data obtained inthe experimental class, X1 1 valueis 79.66 with a standard deviation = 9.41. In the control class, X2valueis 70.03 with a standard deviation = 11.13. The result of hypothesisis found that tcalculated>ttable(5.53 > 1.67) with a significance level (α = 0.05) and degrees of freedom = 62. This shows that H0 isrejected and H1 is accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that student learning outcomes in class which is treated using the cooperative learning model Jigsaw is better than the untreated class on chemicalequilibrium topic.

The aim of this study is to improve the learning of English with a speech variable using the TED Talks Application. The quantitative approach is the technique used in this research. The design used in this quantitative study is a quasi-experimental design, which utilizes a pre-test and post-test design culture. The population in this study was 20 grade XII students of SMK Muhammadiyah Parung, Bogor in the academic year 2020/2021. Pre-test and post-test data were analyzed using SPSS 25 version. The results of the study showed that the students pre-test score was 64.70 and after treatment, the students post-test score was 87.60. The results of this study also clarified that the t-test in the paired sample test in which tobtained was 28.56 and the crucial tvalue at significance level (p)=0.05 was 2.093, which means that t-test in which the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected and the alternative hypothesis (H1) accepted. The writer finding might summarize that the student’s post-test results are higher than the student’s pre-test results. In other words, the use of TED Talks is useful in the 12th grade of vocational high school for students who speak English.

This study aims to determine the effect of the implementation of the inquiry type CTL learning model on critical thinking skills. The population in this study were eighth grade students of MTs. Al-Asy’ariyah Bandar Lampung Year 2015/2016. The research method used in this study is Quasi Experimental Design. The research design used in this quasi-experimental was the pretest-posttest control group design. The sampling technique is random sampling. The sample in this study consisted of two classes namely the experimental class and the control class. Data collection techniques in the form of tests to measure students' critical thinking skills and observations to observe behaviors that arise in students according to indicators of critical thinking skills. The results of hypothesis testing obtained thitung = 5.78, while ttabel at a significance level of 5% by 2.00, it can be said that thitung > ttabel. This shows that Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted, meaning that there is an influence of the inquiry type CTL learning model on students' critical thinking abilities.

This research is to know the effects of the use of short film animation as media for teaching writing descriptive text for 7thgrade students at Junior High School. The method that used in this study was Quasi-Experimental, which are conducted an experimental class and control class. Based on the results of statistical calculations, the average score in the experimental class the pre-test value is lower than the post-test. Meanwhile, in the control class the average pre-test and post-test results were still as low. The t-test results showed that the tv value was higher than the table (3.80> 1,999) with 62 degrees of freedom and a significance level of 5%. That is, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. So, the use of animated short films gives effect in writing descriptive text.
