Implementation of Defense Policy Against Threats for Securing International Shipping Lanes in the Sunda Strait

The Sunda Strait is one of the areas in the Indonesian Archipelago Sea Channel (ALKI) I. The flow of this voyage is used for international interests. Facing the factual and potential threats that occur today, the Sunda Strait waters has an important role for international interest, particularly in Indonesia, since the position of its capital city is relatively close. This study is using a qualitative descriptive method of phenomenology and using the theory of George Edward III. The results of the study indicate that the variable communication between related entities shows that it still needs to be optimized since it is still not integrated. In the variable resources of each entity related to the security of the Sunda Strait are still have many limitations, particularly in budgetary resources that are related to the availability of other resources. The disposition variable is still found by persons related to the attitude of the executor who makes the obstacle an opportunity to do negative things, and in the variable structure of the bureaucracy, opportunities are still found to optimize the security of the international shipping channel in the Sunda Strait.

The life of pesantren students (santri) are often connoted to simplicity in standing alone and live what it is worth. Although they live in simplicity, the mahasantri in IDIA Prenduan have happiness logic in their life. The blissfulness means a happiness that is felt by someone. Therefore, this research covered about the logic of happiness of mahasantri in IDIA Prenduan, and the factors of happiness that is enjoyed by mahasantri IDIA Prenduan. By qualitative descriptive method, found that they are happy in living at pesantren campus because they have new friends from all of corner Indonesian Archipelago. In addition, the existence of programs and learning systems that prioritize the lesson kepesantrenan (ma'hadi) and Islamic Shari'a are being a factor of happiness for mahasantri in IDIA Prenduan university. Togetherness in learning and worship also contribute to other factors of santri happiness. Moreover, the Kiai often raise the theme of gratitude in the lectures and lessons given by the Kiai in IDIA Prenduan. In addition, in the interest of education, IDIA Prenduan efforts to direct its santri to be the the patient and sincere person type. Sincerity is the soul of all branches of human belief and that result of it is the happiness.

Indonesian Navy is tasked with enforcing the law and maintaining security in the national jurisdictional sea area following the provisions of national law and international law that have been ratified. To carry out these basic tasks to run well, it is necessary to have support from the Naval Base which is quite accommodating in terms of service and logistical support. The problem in this research is how to compile the strategy analysis for patrol elements addition of Bravo Naval Base to support marine security operations at Indonesia Archipelagic Sea Lanes 1. The purpose of this study was to determine the optimum function of the patrol element of base owned by Bravo Naval Base in support of marine security operations in the Indonesian Archipelago Sea Lanes 1. The method used in this study is Qualitative Descriptive methods by NVivo Software and SWOT analysis methods. The results of this study are the continuation strategies analysis for patrol elements addition of Bravo Naval Base to support marine security operations, and it needs to be a concern and needs to be improved by Indonesian Navy.Keywords: Strategy Analysis, Patrol Element Additions, Bravo Indonesia Naval Base.

Penglipuran Traditional Village is a traditional settlement in Bali which has an attractive space pattern seen from the order of the spatial pattern that is typical of the cultural activities of its people. The village is located at a distance of 45 km from Denpasar and 5 km from the capital city of Bangli Regency. The aim of the study was to find out the concept of traditional patterns of space and houses applied in Penglipuran Village, as a basis for researching traditional Balinese architecture. This research was conducted with qualitative descriptive method and case study approach. Penglipuran Village as a settlement has a space pattern which is divided into 3 (three) spatial arrangements based on the Tri Mandala concept consisting of: 1) Main Mandala (Pura); 2) Madya Mandala (Residence); 3) Nista Mandala (Tomb). The condition of the Penglipuran Traditional Village as a traditional mountain village shows one thing that stands out, namely the spread of settlement patterns tend to be linear because they are in mountainous areas. Penglipuran Bali Traditional House is an order of cultural result of the cultural mindset of the ancestors of the Penglipuran community in organizing an area well and upholding ancestral customs and striving to maintain the order well, neatly organized concept and sustainable nature and the surrounding environment.

Abstract- The relocation of dwellers who resided in riverbanks to flats has been implemented as part of Ciliwung river normalization project to reduce the occurrence of floods in Jakarta. In 2015, the Local Government of Capital City Jakarta had been relocated residents of Kampung Pulo to Jatinegara Rental Flats. But in fact, there were differences of population number and lifestyles between the occupants during the building design process and the occupants who were actually being relocated so there were discrepancies betwen the two communities’ characteristics. Therefore, the number of occupants living in the residential flat units typically exceeds the ideal capacity that should be accommodated and can influence the function and comfort of motion of flats’ residential units.This study used qualitative descriptive method by mapping and grouping the space functions and placement of furnitures in the flats units, also comparing the placement of furnitures to human anthropometry standards, as well as researching the activities and perceptions of the occupants in the Jatinegara Barat Rental Flats units.The aim of this study was to answer the research questions by analyzing the influence of the number of occupants to the functionality and comfort of motion at Jatinegara Rental Flats’ residential units. This research is conducted hopefully to provide suggestions for improvements of flats design that are intended for dwellers who occupies the river banks area and are being relocated in order to make a better dwelling space in Jakarta to fulfill the functionality and comfort of motion at vertical housings.The functionality and comfort of motion at the West Janitnegara Rental Flats units beside influenced by the number of occupants living in residential units, are also causes by activities of residents who are living in residential units within a certain time unit, the limited area of residential units, the placement and quantity of furnitures owned by the residents, and some restrictions about ownership and management of rental flats units. This study aims to describe 1) the form of cohesion contained in the news Watching Sakinah Movies, UIN Yogyakarta Give Praise Students and 2) describing the forms of coherence contained in the news Watching Sakinah Film, Students of UIN Yogyakarta Give Praise. The subjects used in this study were news of watching Sakinah film, UIN Yogyakarta students giving praise, and the objects used were sentences containing grammatical cohesion, a form of lexical cohesion. The approach used in this study is a qualitative descriptive approach. The data in this study are sentences in the news of Watching Sakinah Movies, This student is a method of literature study. While the method of data analysis in this study is descriptive method analysis method, the method used to analyze and describe cohesion markers and analyze markers of coherence. Test The results of the study show that in the news of watching Sakinah films, UIN Yogyakarta Beri Pujian students have varied markers of cohesion and coherence in the Tebuireng Online news discourse. Cohesion markers were found to reference (3), substitution (1), ellipsis (2), conjunction (3), collocation (1), and markers of coherence found cause-effect relationships (2), relationship coherence suggestions — goals (1), coherence temporal relations (1), and coherence of causal relationships (1).

Abstract The main fuction of the Bank as an funding and lending activities by offering various types of financial transaction services an attractive choice for people who do money laundering to hide money proceeds of crime. Because of that the government and Indonesian Banks make regulations related prevent money laundering that contains Customer Due Dilligence and Enhanced Due Dilligence. Bank Mandiri Syariah has implementation Customer Due Dilligence and Enhanced Due Dilligence as an effort to prevent money laundering. This analyze aims for knowing implementation Customer Due Dilligence and Enhanced Due Dilligence that has been applied by Bank Syariah Mandiri. In this study using a qualitative descriptive method. Data retrieval is done by observation, interviews and documentation to three sources of informants Bank Syariah Mandiri KCP Bekasi Timur and one sources of informants that specifically handles money laundering prevention program that is SKAP( Satuan Kerja APU PPT) Bank Mandiri Syariah. Data analysis will be done by doing three steps, they are; data reductions, data display, and verification.The observation result shows that implementation Customer Due Dilligence done at the time prospective customer open the account and the Bank doubt information customer by doing identification and verification. implementation Enhanced Due Dilligence is done to customers Politically Exposed Person/ High Risk open the account, but in practiceat Bank Syariah Mandiri KCP Bekasi Timur done when there is suspicious transaction or there is a case. Reporting process suspicious transaction through the system SIAP (System Aplikasi APU PPT) to Satuan Kerja APU PPT (SKAP) Bank Syariah Mandiri then SKAP reports to PPATK (Pusat Pelaporan Analisis Transaksi Keuangan). From implementation Customer Due Dilligence and Enhanced Due Dilligence Bank Mandiri Syariah has been prevent money laundering enter the financial system at Mandiri Sharia Bank.

Effectiveness of Education and Training in Increasing Auditor Performance at the Lamongan Regency Inspectorate of East Java Province. This study aims to find out and analyze education and training to be the driving factors for improving the performance of auditors at the Inspectorate of Lamongan Regency, East Java Province. The researcher used a qualitative descriptive method with an inductive approach. The conclusion of this study is the effectiveness of education and training carried out through technical training programs held by the Lamongan District Inspectorate and the implementation of functional training and technical training outside which aims to improve the performance of the Lamongan District Inspectorate auditors, including being effective. This can be understood from the results of the overall study through interviewing the author with sources and direct observations. The indicators of effectiveness of auditor participation to carry out technical training carried out by the Inspectorate and functional training and technical training held outside of stating that, every implementation. Education and training can have a positive impact on the auditor of the Lamongan District Inspectorate in improving performance to carry out their duties and functions as internal government supervisors.

AbstrakMasalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu pentingnya strategi produk dalam menjalankan sebuah usaha agar mampu bertahan dan bersaing dengan perusahaan lain yang sejenis dalam kondisi persaingan yang ketat dan perkembangan zaman yang sangat cepat. Strategi produk sangat diperlukan dalam mememenuhi tuntutan konsumen seperti meningkatkan kualitas, menciptakan merek, pelayanan serta jaminan terhadap produk yang ditawarkan agar usaha mampu berkembang. Limpapeh”s Kebaya adalah usaha yang sedang berkembang dan telah mampu memasarkan produk bordirnya hingga menembus pasar ekspor. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi produk bordir di Limpapeh”s Kebaya, Kapalo Koto, Koto Tangah Simalanggang, Kota Payakumbuh. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode deskriftif kualitatif, jenis data berupa data primer dan sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik analisa model interaktif yang berkaitan dengan pokok permasalahan yaitu dengan model reduksi data, penyajian data dan pengambilan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian yaitu strategi produk yang dilakukan di Limpapeh”s Kebaya adalah dimulai dari menciptakan produk bordir yang berkualitas, desain motif bordir yang up to date dan kreatif, menyediakan ukuran yang special, memberi merek pada produk bordir, memberi kemasan yang menarik (paperbag) dan serbaguna, pelayanan yang cepat, tepat dan ramah serta pemberian jaminan terhadap produk border.Kata Kunci: strategi produk, pelayanan, bordir. AbstractThe problem in this study is the importance of product strategy in running a business in order to be able to survive and compete with other similar companies in conditions of intense competition and very rapid development of the times. Product strategy is very necessary in fulfilling consumer demands such as improving quality, creating brands, services and guarantees for products offered so that businesses are able to grow. Limpapeh's Kebaya is a growing business and has been able to market its embroidery products to penetrate the export market. This study aims to describe the strategy of embroidery products in Limpapeh's Kebaya, Kapalo Koto, Koto Tangah Simalanggang, Payakumbuh City. The research method uses qualitative descriptive method, the type of data in the form of primary and secondary data. The technique of collecting data through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques are carried out with interactive model analysis techniques that are related to the subject matter, namely with a model of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results of the research, namely the product strategy carried out at Limpapeh's Kebaya, are started from creating quality embroidery products, up-to-date and creative embroidery motifs, providing special sizes, giving brands to embroidery products, giving attractive packaging (paperbag) and versatile, fast, precise and friendly service and guarantee of embroidery products. This study aims to measure the performance of fish auction process in Arumbai Market in Ambon. Primary data were collected from 43 respondents through observation and direct interview based on questionnaire. Data was analysed by qualitative descriptive method, importance performance analysis method (IPA) and gap analysis, and value for money method. The results show that: 1). There are three auction process activities namely pre auction, auction, and post auction; 2). Fisherman's satisfaction level is 67% and merchant satisfaction is 81%; and 3). The auction performance of the economic aspect is less economical, with the final value of 83%, while the fish auction performance from the efficiency aspect is less efficient with the value of 76%. For that, it needs additional officers to manage fish auction place (TPI) in Arumbai Market. In addition, the fish auction facilities (TPI) in Arumbai Market needs to be improved.
